You must have seen that it has an average rating is positive, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the rating is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place scores when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

Great course
Great course! Amazing shape and well worth the price
Great 9 hole course!
Great 9 hole. Fairways are like most courses greens
Had a good time first time golfying not a bad course tho
Very cost effective. Course is in great shape.
A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! No complaints at all about this place just can’t give 5 stars considering the different levels of courses out there but this is easily one of my favourite 9 holes to play in East Durham (compared to front or back 9’s at other courses). Not to many hazards and areas to lose balls which is great but still tough to play. The holes are long and well maintained, great to walk. A unique and consistent layout with a couple really good looking and fun holes. Was just out first week of opening and the course was a in great shape, looking forward to playing again and showing friends this hidden gem!
Very nice little course. We'll maintained
Little pricey quite frankly but the 9 holes that it offers are beautiful and we'll cared for.
Great course In great shape Awesome price Friendly staff
Really nice golf course. Bent grass tee to green. Fairways are like carpet. Greens fun and fast. The whole course is on sand so it drains well. Along with a competent and passionate superintendent, and friendly service staff, it's a home run. The Mini-Membership is such a fantastic option as well. Stonehenge Golf is top notch.
Course was in good shape. Nice regulation 9 hole.
Great 9 holes needs another 9 and a proper clubhouse.
Would deserve 5 stars if the old lady at the check in counter didn’t lose her mind over one player in our group showing up less than 15 minutes before our tee time. Incredibly rude individual, must be either the owner or the owner’s wife because she acts like she rules the world. They don’t spread tee times out enough, there was no less than six separate groups spread out over two holes in the span of about 20 minutes. In the age of COVID-19, why is this a thing? Beware if you come here, you’ll be paired with two strangers if you only have two players, which is perfectly fine if there wasn’t a global pandemic happening...doesn’t play well in terms of physical distancing measures and avoiding catching anything untoward. The course itself is beautiful and I’d consider coming back just for that alone, so long as that lady isn’t working!!
Showed up at 5. One group of people on the course. No one in the parking lot. Old lady behind the courier was rude and told us we couldnt golf because the parking lot was full. Assuming she was hammered drunk or perhaps blind. Would not recommend
Decent length course with reasonable challenges.
Course is in excellent shape. Shame it's only 9 holes.
High end beautiful course. Might be the nicest course I have ever played the fairways are perfect the greens are incredible and the tee boxes are legit. If you're looking for 9 holes for a good price this is the place to go. Course Marshall is a bit of a hardass about pace of play and if you're playing the Blacks and aren't a very good golfer he will let you know.
Stonehenge is a decent full length 9 hole course that offers a challenge. Friendly staff and a fairly well groomed course will be an enjoyable round
Great 9 course to practice on
very disappointed not in the course itself but in the management. I have always enjoyed this golf course however been very disappointed in the last couple of rounds. There seems to a lot of non golfers on this course that do not follow any golf etiquette as a result you leave the course feeling like I never want to come back. You would think the marshall would assist with moving golfers along however this is not the case. Think twice before booking!!!
Charging $52 to walk 18 on November 16 is ridiculous. When I asked when the prices will go down (as it should be with winter rates) the response I received was “we have been busy so we are just keeping the rates”. That’s not how a golf course operates especially during winter golf when you have 1 person working there. The lady also had the audacity to say hurry up (we only had 2 people) “there is a group behind you” right after we paid (for the second time, because I assumed mid way through November that $30 was more than enough for 18 holes, but apparently not). Won’t be returning.
Great shape for how early in the season. Very long from the tips...possible user error. Strict covid rules, but very friendly about them...I hope to see it again (from the whites) in all of its glory during the summer.
Great 9 hole track. It was my first time attending Stonehenge after driving by it for years always wondering. Great layout, very walkable, with a couple real beauty holes. Simple yet challenging and very well maintained. Very fun round. Will be back.
Really good challenging and we'll maintained links style 9 hole Course
This is by Far one of the Nicest Courses in Durham Region!!! Keegan (The Head Greenskeeper) takes extra care of the Fairways & Greens, and the Course is Always in Tip Top Shape. Cheryl is a Fantastic Lady who takes care of each and every person who plays. Always a Great Round when playing there!!
Great nine however staff poorly handled their mess up. I booked 18 holes the worker didn't put in properly in the computer and only allowed us to play 9.
Excellent 9 hole course for all golfers. Condition of greens and fairways excellent. My only grip was an over zealous starter that was a little too pushy for me about protocols!
Great course, enjoyed the 9. Well staffed and maintained.
Pricey for nine holes...over $75 for two including a cart on a Friday... four and three workers were gas motored weedwacking extremely close to two of the holes my wife and I were putting on, very disrespectful. Some holes were well kept and other were either unfinished or not well maintained... will not golf there again.
Most likely the best groomed course in the area. Soft fairways and playable bunkers. Too bad it's not 18 holes.
One of the best 9 hole courses around. The land has great drainage so it dries quickly after rain which is a perk!
Our group of 4 booked a tee-time 5 days in advance, requesting 2 carts for our group. Upon arrival the lady working the front desk was extremely rude, claiming we did not book carts. She then spoke with us in regards to covid rules, the VERY RUDE lady asked where one of the players clubs were, after informing her that these 2 people would be sharing clubs and sharing a cart, as they live in the same household she said that was not allowed because of covid. This makes no sense as they sit beside each other in the cart, in their car and sleep in the same bed (she was made aware of this). Regardless of being a nice and well maintained course we will not be returning because of this specific person.
Great club, should have snacks other than chocolate bars on the beer cart.
Very nice place to play golf
Great course been going for years but they seriously need to move that old lady that runs the pro shop. She has a terrible attitude and thinks everyone has been there the week before, with all this Covid stuff going on things have changed. Dont assume we all know your rules especially when you call to book a tee time and aren't given any prior instructions. Terrible attitude, I would assume she knows the owner or is the owner because any other place would get rid of an employee that's so bad at her job.
Very nice 9 hole i would recommend for any level
Yes it's a 9 hole course but well worth playing. Great shape, good layout, good selection of tee boxes to vary the second 9, excellent & receptive greens. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Great staff , Great price , coarse is in absolutely great shape , very well maintained and very green , Recommended ⛳????
RUDE old lady!! This course is beautiful but the lady working the shop is anything but that. I have no doubt that she turns people away from the course from her lack of social skills and professionalism. Course is a great 9 but I would rather golf in a quarry than deal with her again. Stonehenge management should really get rid of her
I was very interested in playing this course come the 2021 season. But after taking the time to look at the reviews I'm not sure that's a great idea. Posting this review as a hope that one of the owners starts responding to these other negative reviews. I'd like to see what they have to say but it looks like they don't care. As they haven't responded to any of the negative reviews. Unfortunately I'm disappointed and I've never even been there !
This overpriced course plays pretty well but is not worth it after dealing with rude staff and following their abysmal rules. The older woman checking us in was extremely curt. The rules set in place to accommodate COVID-19 and social distancing made no sense. A friend and I were paired with another group of two which already seemed weird and when we played through another group to separate ourselves we were told that this was not allowed because of COVID-19. When we finished the first 9 holes we were again greeting by this rude older woman who stated we were playing too fast and we are lucky someone else cancelled so that we could play the next 9 holes. We were then paired with another random group of two. Start to finish a horrendous experience, would not recommend.
Great course friendly staff.
Good mix of par 3, 4, and 5’s. My favourite 9 hole in the area
Enjoyed the course friendly staff hard to see off Taunton, a sign would be nice
A nice 9 hole golf course. Greens and fairways are in great shape! Friendly staff!
As beautiful as the course is, and how well it is maintained - You WILL NOT have a positive golf experience as long as Cheryl is still working there. I’d rather golf at a goat ranch then have to have her barking at everyone (young or old) who crosses her path. The greens keepers are amazing, the marshals are amazing - but Mark (GM) do something about your pro shop staff. We won’t be back until she’s gone.
Great 9 hole. Lots of parts 4s and 5s
Beautiful 9 hole golf course. Great for walking. Keegan Sawyer and his crew keep the course in great shape all the time. Drains exceptionally well after heavy rains and in the early spring. Always a pleasure to play.
Decent little course, but not worth the headache. Let's play some trivia! The old lady working behind the counter here was: a) Rude b) Gruff c) Abraisive d) All of the above If you guessed option D congratulations, you win, and your prize is not having to deal with this miserable woman thanks to the advice you received from this review.
The course is always in great shape! Never had a round here where it was bad ! I've played Stonehenge well over a 100 times !
Very nice nine hole golf club. I really wish this place had nine more holes. Really the only thing missing is a clubhouse. Course conditions are always excellent.
RUDE!!! After playing this course for 16 years, half of that time as a mini-member, the course green keeper crossed the line today. While golfing with my son, we drove into the rough on hole number 6. The green keeper came over and ask us not to drive into the rough. We apologizes and continued with our round. We noticed on the same green another green keeper was blowing leaves off the green and we waited till he was done before we chip onto the green. As we finished up hole #9 we asked the starter if we could play holes 2-4 as we skipped these holes do to a log jam after we completed the first hole. The starter said no problem. As we approach the tee deck, we notice that on hole 3 was open so we decide to play this hole first. After we hit our tee off shots the course green keeper came down the hole shouting to us asking us what we are doing. As we explained what we were doing, he then asked us to pick up our ball and get off of my course. Still in shock and not wanting to create a stir, we grab our ball and headed towards the parking lot. To my amazement, he followed us to the lot yelling at us. When I approached him and stated that he must be having a bad day and we are leaving, he again told us never to come back. He continue to yell at us as we were removing our clubs from the cart. Being a 57 year old golfer, I would never expect to be treated this way. However I can tell all of you this, over the years the staff has become increasingly rude. Keegan I believe was his name truly doesn't understand how to treat customers and this attitude has filter down to his staff. As the rounds of golf played across Canada continues to fall, I would expect customer service to increase not fall. It is a shame that they continue to treat customers in this manner. I will continue to play the game of golf at a course that respects each and every customer. This was a prime example how not to treat a customer who has been your customer for over 15 years!
I have always enjoyed golfing at Stonehenge. Today was no different. Lovely day, great course. Challenging but not killer
Awesome place for an evening 9 holes
In wonderful condition. Great value as always.
Golfer BEWARE, the adult lady working the front reception is RUDE and has no customer service skills. I am shocked that a well groomed course has this lady being the first person you interact with. Now looking at the reviews from other golfers she has been noted as rude multiple times...makes sense. Course is in amazing shape, very well groomed fairways and greens roll great. I sure hope that this course deals with their staff and re-trains and that the lady i spoke with today does not own this course. I will not return solely based on the rude service i received this morning.
Course is in great condition, very challenging
Perfectly fine golf course. Terrible service when you try to pay and tee off.
Nice open field of play. Great pace and lots of changes and Par lengths. Can't wait to return
Nice course. Well maintained
Great 9 hole course. Only been once but had a great day. Some challenging long holes.
They used to keep this track in immaculate shape. The greens are rough. Still haven't grown in from aeration putting in July should not be like plinko.
Fun 9 hole course but a little expensive for what it is. They do open early in the season and stay open later in the year.
Well maintained and friendly always green
Excellent nine holes. Certainly no push over by any means. Highly recommended.
I took my dad here for his birthday and was not disappointed. Even after weeks of no rain, the course was really green and the fairways were beautiful.
My first time playing at Stonehenge and I really enjoyed playing this 9 hole course. Very well maintained, fairways were freshly cut and manicured perfectly. Used my driver quite a bit. It has a good mix of par 3, 4, 5's. Didn't feel rushed, tee times were perfectly spaced out. Paid 40 bucks with a cart. I will definitely go back.
Amazing and beautiful course, but very expensive.
They really need to learn how to aerate the greens. Enjoyable layout and decent value otherwise.
