Course itself was in okay condition. Minus garbage and beer cans in the 2nd cut on 6 holes, and bunkers not filled with enough sand so that plastic lining was exposed on more than a few bunkers.
My big issue is with management. I played on Monday and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot when I arrived. The course was absolutely empty. First off, their website says that green fees are $25 riding 9 holes. We ended up getting charged $36 for some reason. So because the course was desolate, my girlfriend and I played an extra ball or two to get some extra practice.
At the end of the round my girlfriend went into the clubhouse to use the washroom, and on her way out the attendant working asked her for my name and number to "make booking tee times easier next time we want to play there." So she did.
Half an hour later I got a phone call from the owner and he informed me that: "a staff member observed you and your partner playing multiple balls on a few holes and that is NOT permitted because you did not ask for permission to do so". He also mentioned that he "does the same thing when he's on an empty course".
I don't appreciate the fact that he used underhanded tactics to obtain my information, then waited until I was far from the course to scold me for playing more than one ball. If it was a problem, I would appreciate if I was informed on the course, then I would have no problem being cooperative.
I've been playing for 7 years now, and playing extra balls has never been an issue (I make sure that I'm not holding anyone else up, I also fix any pitch marks i make and replace divots). I've been encouraged numerous times at many different courses by starters and marshals to play extra balls if the course is empty.
I've told all my friends, family and golfing buddies to stay away from this course and give their business to a course that treats it's patrons with more respect and actually want them to enjoy themselves, and I suggest you do as well.
