Great golf course
We had our wedding at Kedron Dells and we couldn't be happier! Karla made all of my worries go away and really went above and beyond to make our day so special! The food was awesome, drinks were great and set up and the whole process was easy and as stress free as you could get!
Best bang for buck post covid. Very well maintained, had a great time
Really nice course! Well worth the money and when I went it was packed so they put me and my friend together with another 2 guys. Pace was great, fairways in excellent shape, shot three birdies that day!
Course was pretty challenging, it's a good course. Good conditions.
Don’t book your wedding with them. I booked before any lockdowns were occurring and I absolutely fell in love with the ambiance of the reception hall and how beautiful it was so I didn’t think twice about booking. Unfortunately as time passes and I had more questions, I tried contacting the hall countless times to no response and eventually I just gave up and had asked to cancel my wedding because they were absolutely horrible with getting in touch with, later to find out the wedding coordinator quite and she messaged me after she left saying that she was no longer there. The person responsible after was the chef Tony, and he’s not too pleasant to work with. I had canceled my wedding with Tony and I had asked for a partial refund of the payment I had made due to their lack of effort and they offer zero consideration or effort in apologizing due to the mistakes on their end. I most certainly will not recommend them to any and all of my engaged friends.
Great golding experience, but they need work on their service in the restaurant - quite slow.
Great course we'll maintained and challenging enough for an average golfer. Excellent customer service and great staff. You will not be disappointed here!
Great round of golf and really nice staff
Easy course. Not too many hazards. Challenging enough. But not so tough that it's frustrating.
Kedron Dells is a golf club, the course is a 4/5 but so tragically my friend received a hot dog at the turn that was a 1/5, souring the experience immensely. I shanked my drive on the 10th tee because of it and definitely not because I tried to hit over the river like an idiot. Under normal circumstances I would score Kedron Dells 3/5 but if you don't buy a hot dog it is a 4 experience so your mileage may vary.
Beautiful golf course and always challenging. First class operation all around. GM
Great course
Always a good choice.
My husband and I had our wedding at Kedron Dells, and it honestly was perfect. The venue is not to big but not to small and it was very intimate feeling. Karla, the wedding coordinator was amazing, she is patient, detail oriented and made sure our day was everything we dreamed of. If I could do everything over again, I would still choose Kedron Dells!
Rude management and cutlery was dirty, with food on it.
Golf wit friends great. Food horrible.
Kedron has always been that course that gets you for me, i'll start good then everything goes down. Tough course if you miss fairways, shot shaping off tee is beneficial for sure. Distance control and great putting is required here, with the new management the conditions has been superb! Staffs are nice and food is always great.
Great course, we'll maintained, good value.
Course was in great shape.
Beautiful course with lots of variety. Some holes are flat, others are down a steep hill, some even go over a river. Lots of fun.
Hidden gem!
A hidden gem!
Awesome Golf Course, Excellent Banquet facilities, very Friendly Staff and Fantastic food and beverage establishment.
Good course.. Needs more marshals to talk to the yahoos... No pace enforcement and they allow intoxicated players on the course. Not going back.
Great course, mostly great staff, one bad apple (super weird kid that power trips) working the desk today. Too bad was considering a membership here.
too many golfers and slow play. been there 3 times now and its the same everytime. wont be back because of this.
Great course!
Well kept course
Wow!! We just had our wedding at kedron dells and I cant say enough how impressed we are ! The food was AMAZING and the staff was phenomenal. We couldn't have done it without the help of karla . She was an absolute rockstar the whole night . She helped us keep our night on track, packed us a picnic for our photos and stayed until 10pm. Our wedding had so many compliments and I wouldn't have changed a thing about how the night went. Thank you kedron dells staff ! I'd highly recommend this venue for a wedding .
Walk for the first six holes, then switch to power cart. Condition of the course is good at this time of the season. Fun to play for sure.
Great course!
Great round today, beautiful weather and course was in good shape (given the time of the year). Overall great experience and they had carts out too, 8/10. Would have loved to see the cart lady out!
Great course to play, unfortunately our group got showered in dust and dirt twice, two separate occasions, some of the maintenance workers don’t mind to drive their tractors or use their tools nearby you, like they should wait two minutes, specially when there’s some wind
DONT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE. We decided to go with this venue just as covid was starting hoping it wasn't going to be the pandemic it became. It was virtually impossible to communicate with the staff and often no response was give regarding issues or concerns. Eventually I just gave up and had asked to cancel my wedding because they were absolutely horrible with getting in touch with, later to find out the wedding coordinator quit and she messaged me after she left saying that she was no longer there. The person responsible after was the chef Tony, and he’s not too pleasant to work with. This man was absolutely horrid and wouldn't return our second payment despite it being well before the date any payments were needed. He had signed the contract stating the payment was our deposit without informing us of such or getting our signature. This money was a gift from my fiancees dead Nana and to have it wasted on such a horrid venue that cared so little for their customers was very disappointing. I will not only not reccomend this venue to anyone, but will continue actively telling people to stay clear as they care for only themselves and are utterly useless.
Beautiful wedding location and services. Grounds are great for photos. Meal options are great.
Terrible customer service
The course was in good shape, pace of play good (4.45 hours) and other golfers were good to interact. A sausage lunch at the turn was slow and perhaps they could have more ready food. The staff were friendly and professional, as usual. We walked the course as usual and enjoyed the round and the cost was acceptable.
Bad place for a driving range. Some of the pin placement are to close to the fringe. Ring the bells people.
0 stars!! WILL NOT BE BACK! STRONGLY SUGGEST GOLFING ELSEWHERE IF YOU DON'T HAVE 4 PPL. Golfed here many times before and always the slowest round of golf...I now know why - because they love to jam all groups together even as you are about to tee off (and when the parking lot is half empty)! I booked as a single golfer and was told to go ahead and hit after paying and getting my cart. I spent time warming up, then just as I was about to tee off (in my pre shot routine), I was asked to wait because they wanted to pair me with other people (with one person walking). I asked to just golf as a single (as I was initially told to do after grabbing my cart), but was told "We do not allow single golfers". I then had to wait while an employee drove to the practice green to get these other people. By this time I could have hit my tee shot and been lining up for my second. If these other people were booked at the same time as me, why were they on the practice green at their tee time and not at the tee box warming up as I was?? Why wasn't I told about being paired until I was in my pre shot routine?? Common sense would have been to just let me go as it would not have affected pace of play at all and kept me happy, but maximizing $$$$ is much more important to this golf course, even if it pushes back other tee times and causes real slow rounds. It says nothing on the course policies or the website about not allowing Single golfers to play.
Always a great time, we'll managed, challenging holes, love the digital readouts on the carts.
A well kept, surrounded by trees, undulating fairways with fast green course. The golf cart are equipped with GPS for distance to green. Wish the carts weren't so expensive.
Best value course in Durham Region. Course is in great shape despite the volume of play during this Covid season. Not a really long course but don't expect to shoot a good score if you spray the ball. Lots of trees. Some long par 3's and short par 4's that require a positioning tee shot. Lot's of challenge here.
Great place....great course and staff
Had a great time out there this Morning.
I like this courses. Good fareway ,green and reasonable green fee.
Very good course
Was there for a wedding reception the place is a dump service was terrible and the food was average at best
Underwhelmed and unimpressed with our first and last time at this course. A group of four booked for a family golf game. I am all for managing pace of play, but how do you do that when you don’t allow groups to play through? I offered playing through as a suggestion but instead we were asked to play best ball or just hurry it up after paying $225 of our hard earned money, and there was no one in front of us! The cart boy told us that playing through is against their policy - but when browsing the website under the policy section - I see no such rule, nor have I ever heard that on any other course. Might be worth adding to that section to avoid new comers. Sounds like typical response from a man to put a woman in her place on the golf course if you ask me.
Great spot for a perfect wedding.
They over book tee off times , Absolutely a joke , then Marshall told us to pick the pace up as we were waiting to tee off , Then 85 bucks to play with cart / not worth the money .
Price is too high versus comparable courses.....no senior rates is disappointing
Fun track greens were a good speed for a public course. Pace of play was a little slow never saw a marshal.
It was a great day out at Kedron today!
We were waiting for the group in front of us every hole yet the Marshall told one of our group members we needed to speed things up. I have a feeling he says this to every group. The problem is actually tee times not being spaced far enough apart. $85 for 18 with cart, good course but money goes further elsewhere
Played here twice this year, the first time took me 5+ hours to get through 18 and yesterday was not able to finish more than 13 holes. Conditions are good but pace is terrible.
Requires a cc for booking over the phone EVEN in the off season. When the owner of this GC saw this review on facebook, he found my cell phone number from an old email rewards list and called me at work to ask me why I left a negative review. Then he explained that they have issues with people not showing up for their tee time. Ok, I get it, reserved time slots are a pain to deal with when people don't show up because you're out money numbering in the hundreds. But this course will charge you the fee regardless if you golf or not. I don't care how beautiful this course is, I won't be playing at a place like this and I hope you won't either.
Great day, course is in great shape
Course is in great condition. Enjoyed the round.
We had our wedding at Kedron Dells Golf Club and we are so happy with our choice. The food was amazing, the service was quick and efficient, we got the most beautiful pictures on the golf course and the banquet hall looked stunning. One of the couples that we invited are engaged and booked Kedron Dells for their wedding the following Monday after our wedding. I will never forget how intimate and perfect it felt exchanging our vows in front of the beautiful fireplace. Kristy is the event coordinator and she went above and beyond to make our day perfect.
Course was in good shape. Moved along quickly. The offer locker thingy needs work. Forces me to install their app that I don't want.
Long and Easy Golf Course
Really impressive, greens very receptive and great rolling. Sand traps much better than they use to be. Food and drinks are super good. Bought some shirts for my girlfriend and I from a new brand to me, Full Wedge... Can't wait to try them.????⛳
Lovely holiday meal.
Golf course and green in excellent shape given the hot summer that's quickly coming to an end.
Good shape. Food was good. Slow pace
We really lucked out that this venue was available on the date we had planned for our wedding in October pretty last minute...the venue is really beautiful...there is a beautiful spot outside that is shaded by mature trees, but we got married in mid-October and opted to have the ceremony indoors in front of the beautiful stone fireplace (it was a small wedding with less than 50 guests). Karla was amazing to work with- very responsive to emails, flexible with ideas, and so helpful. She was there on the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic- we had the chicken parm (hand breaded in house) and a vegetarian stir-fry option. Everyone loved the venue- would definitely recommend!
Friendly staff, challenging track. Great experience.
Well maintained course with lots of wildlife. Forgiving front and a challenging but entertaining back. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Great value especially non prime. Challenging course. Friendly staff.
Good golf for a reasonable price.
I really enjoyed playing this course, I would actually rate it at 3.5 stars. It's maintained very well, grass is green, cut and no weeds. Holes are very challenging, you'll use your driver a lot. The par 3's are even long. The entire course felt long, which I liked. Golf carts have GPS and course offers a downloadable GPS phone app as well, I thought that was a cool feature. Driving range in the middle of the course seemed a bit odd. It would be nice if the course spread out the tee times a little more. Slow groups ahead really affected the speed and play of the rest of the playing field. The marshal's were a bit too aggressive and were targeting the wrong foursomes, causing an unpleasant playing experience. The cost to play on a Sunday morning, $85 with a cart. Fun course but at that price in Durham Region, the experience needs to be exceptional. Update Aug 29: My second round of the year was incredible, the pace of the field was a lot better and I didn't feel rushed. The condition of the course was fantastic, everything was green and maintained well (even in this August heat wave). I'm looking forward to playing this course again in mid September for a tournament. Definitely bump my star rating to a 5, really enjoy it here. One of the better public courses in Durham Region.
Had a great day on the course. Staff was great and helpful with all questions.
Course is in great shape! Awesome to be able to play again..
tough track
