We phoned early in the morning to ask if we could have six people together. We were told yes. After we started the game, we were told it was a “miscommunication” A run in with a most unpleasant owner who gave us a stern warning, and a long rant. We understood we were a bit slow, so 3 of us stayed in our carts and never golfed at all, felt rushed, ended up waiting for the group ahead of us as they had SIX PEOPLE!! We felt ripped off and mistreated.

This is allways an amazing place to spend time weather permitting of course! ;-) A place with friendly staff and an easy going environment this par 72 course is a great cost for an amazing experience.

Just played the 9 hole North course and I couldn't be happier. The course was in great shape and the staff were as friendly and helpful as they normally are. Will I be back? Absolutely!

We heard pretty good things about the golf course so we thought we would give it a try. After doing poorly on one of the holes, we decided to try it again considering we werent in any other golfers way or disturbing anyone. We played a hole that we had paid for in our nine hole payment, and that is when the owner of the came racing down his golf kart, swearing at my little cousin saying we are scamming his business, in a very racial and vulgar way. Instead of politely talking to us like a human being that rich golf course owner started treating his customers like insects. We were PAYING customers and is was at twilight time. Im not sure if this was a race thing or not but this man has lost a few customers.

I have been playing at Lake St. George for a few years now on a regular basis. I have always had a great experience even when im not having a good day. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. I havnt been golfing for long but out of the courses I have played i would have to say Lake St. George has the most chalanging greens in the area. The course is fun, staff are great, and I often take extra tee shots if its not busy without marshalls coming out. My wife and I wanted to play a quick round of 18 after work one night and Dustin stayed late to lock up after we finnished. Thats the kind of customer service that will keep me coming back and recomend to my friends!

Beautiful course. Very well maintained and spread out. Despite being so spread out, great directions to navigate you around. Staff was great. Beer cart was amazing, was around very often and super friendly. Would highly recommend and will return when in the area for sure.

We were having a pleasant experience doing a 9 hole round even though we are not the best golfers. Everything was going well (except the bugs) until we decided to replay a hole that we did poorly on previously. This is when the owner comes out on his golf cart and just starts yelling and swearing at a 16 year old boy, about trying to scam his and sneaky holes. It was a very vulgar and unpleasant experience and I would not wish it upon others. I've never been to a golf course where you are not allow to replay the 9 holes you already paid for, and even if those were the rules they could have politely told us instead of swearing and using the f-word on a 16 year old. I'm not sure if it was the fact that we were colored boys or if this man treats all his customers that way. But either way he did not handle the situation properly and I believe people should know. - Solid Golf Course (except the bugs) - Decent Hot dogs - Mediocre Staff - Horrible Owner

A very reasonably priced good course with 27 holes, so lots of variety. The North 9 is a quick, walkable round. The course was in very good shape this season. At times it can be a little crowded and backed up but usually a good pace.

Great value course - 18 holes for ~$60. Owner/ manager is a nice guy and will come out and talk to you to see how the round went. They are also very accommodating to large groups and will set up a special pricing package at request.

Nice little course. Unfortunately it was very windy when we played which wreaked havoc on our game. We were only able to play the north nine as there was a tournament on the west and south. The fairways were rolling which I enjoyed. Lots of large tree lined fairways which was nice for shade. I really like that there were 4 tee blocks and the reds played significantly shorter. So on the 5th hole par 3 for example, I played from the blue tees at 152 yards and my son (age 11) played from the reds at 80 yards. Perfect for both of us. The greens were nice and big but some rough patches in spots. My son and I willdefinitely play this course again.

great golf course for the money, hidden gem...always look forward to playing this track every year when we come up to the cottage. friendly staff, great family run business from top to bottom..they obviously take pride in keeping this place in the condition that it's need...and this year is no exception.
