Very nicely maintained golf course, especially in the Fall time. The only downside is their limited parking space. It took me a long time to find a parking spot and I almost missed my tee time.

Their green fees are off the charts this year (2021). I played there almost every Friday last season but now they've priced themselves beyond the value offered. There are so many other courses in the area that are $20 cheaper than them. Forget this place. At over $100 per round with cart there is little value to be had.

Played a round today. I’ll be honest the course is in great condition and the pro shop staff are awesome. However, the marshal today needed to lose his attitude. Right from the initial conversation before teeing off on the first hole he was giving our group a hard time and acted as if he owned the place. Maybe he wasn’t happy we showed up on a rainy day? He walked right up to me without wearing a mask and when I politely asked him to step back for personal reasons he said he doesn’t have to? He clearly doesn’t understand customer service. If he doesn’t like his job he should quit. Experience at golf courses is everything, especially when you expect return customers. Will not be back due to this incident.

Loved the course. Great elevations. Maintenance people were always tending to ball mark's and cleaning. One disappointment (big)was the wet cart seat. This is always the case with early morning tee times due to dew. Unavoidable. However, when I mentioned it, I was told "They all are". I asked for a towel, but none was available, and worse, no attempt was made to correct this for me or the rest of our party. Ended up using my own club towel to dry up. Not the kind of experience I appreciated. Apart from this, all other staff were pleasant and made efforts to make me welcome and keep the facility safe and clean. Had a wonderful round!

I have played here many times and always had a blast, difficult but fun! I most recently played on Thursday, somewhere the starter let a regular to just walk on and played, splinting the tee time into a 2 some and a 3 some into the same tee time (I found this out because when 3 groups were waiting to tee off in the back nine, I got a chance to check with the 3 some behind us to find out that we were supposed to have tee off with the pair together but the starter let a regular single player to join them). I have never been so rushed in playing a 4 hour round. The walk on player was constantly walking up into our tee box. This is just poor management!

Great course for golfers of all skill levels. I came here as part of a corporate golf tournament and really enjoyed playing golf here. The course was very well taken care of and there was a good sized driving range to warm up on.

Had a buddy cancel on me day of, his car broke down. Go to the golf course and they still charged me for the extra spot. I know this is standard policy at practically every golf course. But I cannot recall an instance where another golf course in the GTA has ever charged me or anyone I know for having a no show. Won't be going back!

2nd round at pheasant this year. We had a foursome today in and the course was empty due to the weather. It’s one of those days were crusty old marshal try to ruin your day even before you start your round. We checked in and asked for a second cart. A second cart I repeat. The attendant charged us $20. We come out and Marshall (old crusty man with glasses) doesn’t look at our receipt and assumes we’re trying to get away with 2 carts for $20 each. He then tells us we have to pay $40 per cart as if we work there. Again, we asked for a second cart when we checked in. The Marshall is so rude, doesn’t apologize for his colleague’s erro and tries to flex company policy to us as if we worked there! First of all, look at our receipt before you assume we’re trying to get away with pocket change. Second, speak to your colleague who didn’t do his job right after we made it clear we needed a second cart. Of course there was no manager there to sort out the complaint, so we ran back to the club house so fix the mistake so he can shut up. The attendant didn’t charge us at the end as we sensed the Marshall is just being a miserable person on a rainy day. Never coming back here. Don’t hire people that are not friendly to fair, paying guest.

Pheasant Run is an enjoyable course with memorable holes set among tall trees and deep valleys. Excellent condition overall with callenging but still fair to play greens. Walkable for those in good physical condition. Played in late autumn 2020 and the trees lining the fairways have dropped their leaves. Balls hit into the sides are often lost but that sharpens your game. Worth playing here and look forward to some autumn games in 2021 during fall colours.

We came here in June on Friday evening and it was very busy. The golf carts were quite dirty but the staff was nice. The beer cans were on the edges and the grass wasn’t at its best condition.

Normally it's a great course but this time out the starter decided to send out his buddie before us who weren't on the tee sheet, pushing our start back 15 minutes. When we were already fighting to finish 18 before sundown we didn't appreciate the favouritism which caused us to have to wait.

This is the best golf club that I've ever played. I cannot say enough great things about this place that haven't already been said in the other reviews. I play here almost every Sunday now because I don't want to play anywhere else. It is a challenging course but it is one of the most scenic and beautiful tracks in Ontario, all for a reasonable price!

September 29th: white tees. Not a bad course - currently they are having problems with raccoons digging up their fairways so you have that to work with. Greens are fairly fast. Quite slow pace of play and no marshal out on the course. Starter was a little standoffish but maybe it was a bad day for him . I would come back here in a few years.

Disappointed that such a beautiful course would not have marshals to ensure pace of play. We were a foursome with a 4:10pm tee time that just barely finished our round at 9pm. Not what I expect for a twilight fee of $77! Front nine we had 3 teenage boys that were more interested in texting their buddies than playing golf. Fortunately they only played the front nine however it got worse with the foursome in front of us who chose to play from the blue tees but were luck if they could hit the ball 50 yards and straight. No etiquette on their part to let us play through. Let’s hope the next time I decide to play Pheasant Run that there are marshals out on the course.

We had the pleasure of having my daughters wedding there and were so pleased with the whole venue from the food, the exceptional service and the fantastic staff. I would like to thank Lynne and the staff at Pheasant Run for putting everything together. Lynne was very organized, paying great attention to every detail that went into making the wedding day extra special. We couldn't have done it without the amazing team at Pheasant Run. Great course in excellent condition. Fairways and greens are very well kept. Not too much water which is good. Very hilly so and somewhat lopsided which although it provides a challenge becomes difficult to keep a straight drive on the fairway. I would definitely go back.

5 stars! Although Midlands is my favourite, I love all 3 nines at this course! Great organised arrival with Covid protocols. Very friendly staff especially the starter I have had in the mornings, sets a great mood for the round! Have had consistently great playing time all 5 rounds I've played here this year! Only feedback would be a way to select which nine you are playing when booking and some discounts soon! Will continue to be back weekly, can really tell the difference in course quality compared to nearby courses!

I’ve been to this course a few times, often very great times but first time of the year was a little different. Full price for springtime wet conditions and I wasn’t told there would be no power cart rental. The marshal looked like fluff till he opended his mouth.

Amazing Wedding Venue!! My husband and I got married at Pheasant Run on June 15 2019. It is a beautiful venue with amazing places on site for pictures. The venue is tucked away that you do not even realize you are at a golf course. Lynne and Karen were amazing during the planning process. Lynne ensured everything on the day of went smoothly. She was even able to time the ceremony to have it outside before the rain came. This is a perfect spot for a rustic intimate wedding that provides assistance throughout the planning process and day of coordination included in the price.

A most challenging layout, with plenty of tight, tree/water-lined fairways that demands good ball-striking and course management. Some of the greens are hard to nail as well due to the elevated design, which didn't really fit my lower ball-flight. Conditions are as expected for this time of year - swampy in a few spots. Shot 68-over-par last time, slightly above my handicap.

Great layout. 3 nine hole courses. Greens were in good shape. Tee decks were mostly in good shape. Fairways are good, bunkers need some more sand. From the back tees this course is tight. Accuracy off the tees is a must to score here.

This is a course that is charging a premium to play. Our foursome golfs every Friday afternoon. Each and every week we experience delays with groups of five playing while sharing clubs; groups jumping in front of us on the back nine which meant we needed up Playing our last two holes in the dark. In addition, slow play seems to be the contestant. If you have five plus hours to kill and a $100.00 to burn on a round, then this course will be a good fit. Marshall’s on the court are non existent. When you charge top dollar for golf, the least you can do is manage the pace of play. COVID has created tremendous demand for golf and this course is making the most of their opportunity. This is a hard core cash grab. Too bad. I will find another course to play.

Played a tournament here yesterday. Service was impeccable starting with bag drop off, their range is a bit further from the pro shop but their staff will shuttle you to and from the tee box. Played the uplands course and south side. Very scenic course and challenging where there are a lot of side hill lies even from the fairway. Greens were set up fairly, not overly fast and the breaks on the green were fair as well.

I’ve been playing Pheasant Run for over 30 years. Today I paid $124 on aerated greens + a late October round. I get there is covid driving pricing up. I get courses are busy. But honestly not mentioning that the greens were horrible prior to booking and charging me stupid high prices is not cool. Staff is friendly. Food is amazing. But I’ll never be back. There are so many other beautiful courses in the area that I would rather play for far less $$$.

Went out about two weeks ago, course was in great condition. Love the difficulty and elevations at this course. However, the pace of play was terrible; 10mins between tee times, at least on the day we went out, is not close to enough. Round took over 5h as we waited after effectively after shot (and we're average golfers at best). No field marshall seen after the 2nd hole...would love to come back when tee times are better spaced out.

Pheasant Run is an excellent golf course. Challenging but fair, in mint condition, has many elevation changes with many tree-lined fairways to make it scenic and interesting. In addition to the golf course today it was their service that made my day. I had a flat tire on my way to the course. I called the course and the lady told me not to worry and they would let me play with my golf partners at the 10th hole. When I arrived I was charged half the rate and the starter took me to the 7th hole to meet up with my golf partners. Wonderful service and very accommodating!

I've been golfing this course for the better part of 20+ years and doesn't disappoint. My rating is more of a 4.5 with my only blemish being the pricepoint, highest I've paid here. I get it with the pandemic and costs going up. We also had 12 of us out this morning. Staff was excellent.

It can be a very challenging course for the average player since several of the fairways are fairly narrow. More importantly, the fairways and greens were looked after nicely. They actually filled in a few bunkers to make it easier. It's a bit high priced on the weekend, and the refreshment cart wasn't available because one of the girls didn't show up. A big drag since it was so hot and muggy. Silver Lakes is more forgiving and offers lower prices during the week, especially for seniors!

Booze and food can get pricey! 3 challenging 9s. Very tranquil and enjoyable courses. Be prepared for the out of towners who show up and try to dominate the course. They can be quite impatient and rude. Place is popular and can get backed up. Would like to see more marshals out there to keep pace going and keep those impatient ones in check.
