This Golf belongs to the category of Miniature golf course.
Had to book in advanced, we were told that they didn't do walk ins. When we got there they accepted a walk in in front of us. They packed us in so we had to wait 10 or more mins at each hole. Not properly air conditioned. Had to leave early because the waiting just got too much. Not a good experience.
We went over March Break so it was pretty busy. The course is the same was it was 15 years ago, but it was still a lot of fun, and the kids loved it. The staff was great and even put on some songs our kids requested. The price was very reasonable. For six of us it was $79.00. You can’t do anything for that price anymore.
I love coming here with friends and playing mini golf. If you are looking for something to do and not spend an insane amount of money it takes about an hour worth for people to run the course. It would be nice if they changed it up a little bit as I’ve been coming here fire a while and it’s starting to get repetitive but other then that great course lots of fun.
I had a terrific time! I think the last time I went glow in the dark miniputting was for someones birthday in elementary school. I got 64 points so my skills are certainly rusty but honestly, it made it more fun. Great place to go for a date, just aim for off peak times.
Very nice place for an outing with friends or even with family, We had a great time there, the staff were very nice My only comment was there was a weird smell that I noticed while we were playing that lasted throughout the entire thing. Prices: it will cost $27 for two adults Washrooms / parking are both available Your best bet to park in front of K&B sushi and walk through that path to get to it
This place was pretty grimy, and was NOT cheap either. My wife, 2 kids and I cost over $40 for about 30 minutes of entertainment. The course has likely never been cleaned, and the layout was very basic. The glow in the dark aspect was fun for the first few minutes, then got old. You're much better off going to a real, outdoor mini golf course.
Awesome to go with a group of friends. Alot of fun for everyone! The holes are different and unique, the black light makes the experience that much cooler. The arcade is pretty small, but quality games. The service was the best part, management lady was great. The last hole used to light up and make noises... hasnt worked for a while now... you should really make the last hole exciting if he player sinks the ball
Clearly the owner has lost integrity to up keep the place booked online when got there $40 for 3 the staff could be more engaging very depressing demeanour. Ordered to sanitize our hands before entering course didn't even offer the paper and pencil for scoring had to ask. Upon entering it too dark could use more neon lights only got brighter further down and the balls are so ugly replace them already also very cramped better off driving to the Vaughn location.
Tried Oakville Putting Edge for the first time and, contrary to some of the earlier negative comments here, the experience was rather pleasant. The courses are a mix between very easy and moderately difficult, but kids all ages as well as groups of friends or families are sure to enjoy. Taking one star away for the appearance of the main hall/arcade room, which can be greatly improved. Also, for the time (40 odd minutes) it takes for all 18 holes to complete, and the fact that you have to try playing faster in consideration of the group's following you, even $11.50 seems a bit pricey. Suggestion: Keep hand sanitizer at entry and exit points.
I feel like this place has been around forever, I had a childhood party here, and I swear nothing has changed and I love that. Stuff still glows, I still suck at all things golf-related, but it's a lot of fun. The only reason I gave 4 stars was cause some of the staff can be a little cranky and irritable but I guess if I had to deal with the general public, mostly kids and teens probably, I'd be slightly miserable too. All in all, a great place for a date, or if you want to brush up on your glow in the dark mini putting skills. I know that was your new years resolution.
Lots of fun at this location. Glowing golf course with 18 holes. Takes about 50 minutes to complete for a group of 5 playing on two holes side by side. Putters and balls glow and clothes too if you wear white. Staff is super helpful. Small arcade is ok but need to bring cash if buying tokens from the machine. They have slush and soft drinks but no other food. There are restaurants and cineplex in the same plaza. Seems like a good spot for date night. Recommend to all.
Great customer service! However, not worth playing any of the token games, my son was very disappointed with the winning options, prizes were outdated and very sad. They can do better than offering a single crayon as a prize option.
Had a great time here with our family. The glow in the dark is very cool. We took our 3 year old son, and he was free, he absolutely loved it. We played in the arcade as well and the owner gave us a couple tokens on the house. They were very polite and thanked us for our business. Definitely a great place to play during COVID. We were the only ones in there at the time. It felt like we rented the place. They sterilized everything including the balls before they gave it to you. Washrooms were very clean as well.
Terrible experience. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon with the kids and grandparents to have a little fun. Kids were so excited and looking forward to it. When we arrived, we were told we would have to be in teams of four. The grandfather didn't want to play, but they won’t let anyone in, club or not, without paying admission. He just wanted to cheer his grandkids on. He had to stay at the entrance. They made a big deal about their “process”, taking themselves a little too seriously. No offence, but this isn’t Pebble Beach - get over yourselves. Just hand the family the friggin clubs and let them play. There was nobody behind us, who cares. Never ever going back, not only will we never recommend, we’ll be telling everyone to stay away. Not worth the exorbitant pricing. Will just go see a movie for the same price.
This place was very cute a lot of fun! We went in and gave our name and had to wait about 15 minutes but the staff was very friendly. It seems a little old or run down, but they have some games out in the lobby area while you wait. Perfect for friends, family, or a date and maybe takes about an hour or less to go through it all. Also located in a great complex that has restaurants and a movie theater. A great place to spend the day!
Worst. Mini-golf. Ever. Extremely outdated with minimal upkeep. The urinal in the bathroom was broken. Multiple games in the lobby were out of service. We spent more time waiting to golf than actually golfing due to families of 8 golfing together and no staff enforcing the 'maximum 4 golfers on a hole' rule. We actually had to skip two holes because we got tired of waiting ten minutes at every hole for people ahead of us to finish. It's more humid inside than outside. Costs $40 for three people to golf. All in all not very enjoyable and we'll never go back. How this place has a 4/5 rating is beyond me.
I am a big fan of this minigolf location. I have been to many, and I think this one has the best atmosphere. It is glow in the dark, which is awesome, and it has incredible obstacles. It is generally pretty busy, so be prepared to have to wait for a little while after completing each hole.
Enjoyable place. It was good to find this place to have fun on a rainy day before our dinner reservations in the same plaza. There is a small arcade for games lovers. Glow in the dark golf course. It has 18 holes. They have balls which glow. My first time playing mini golf so I was forgetting to hit the ball gently because I'm used to of playing real outdoor golf lol. It was different but good experience. My friends also enjoyed themselves. Bought slushy after the game. The staff member was friendly and helpful explaining to me how it works. I recommend this place.
Lots of fun, we did the mini putt only and the prices are pretty standard. The course was cool and we had a good time. You get to write down song requests and they have hand sanitizer at the exit which was a bonus.
great mini putt spot. glow in the dark. 18 holes. good customer service as well
Nice cool air conditioned place to beat the summer heat, and thunderstorm! It has cool neon colours in the course. Was fun and challenging at the same time to make the ball go into the hole. Would be perfect to bring friends for good time and laughs. My 2 year old daughter loved it and played along, they gave her a tiny putter to participate too which was great. Family had a fantastic time. There's 18 holes and it took 45 minutes to finish.
Generally quite busy and unlikely to develop anyone switch game. Lots of fun for the right age group of about 7- 15 years ago. The whole experience is glow-in-the-dark so if that kind of lighting bothers you if this isn't the place to go. Most of the holes are fairly straightforward but as there's a lot of kids don't expect balls not to be flying around. Play sometimes looks quite worn but for the most part relies on low lighting and glowing paint to prevent you noticing.
Great place! Nice enough to give freebie arcade tickets to the boys which was a great gesture.
Fun course but definitely needs a paint touch up.
This is a great place for family with kids..The Glow set up is exciting especially for taking pictures and trying golf skills. Staff was helpful and patient. While we waited our time, we played air hockey. For children under 12, an adult is required to go in. Usually the session is timed, but if it is not busy, staff may allow additional time. Recommended for birthday parties or play dates.
Not the biggest fan of this place. the atmosphere is decent but kind of worn down, i found myself tripping a lot with all the random stuff the put on the courses. I'd understand if the obstacles were more vibrant and visible but unfortunately they arent. I really hope the repaint the obstacles and make the color more bright but otherwise its fun and pretty cute.
The glow in the dark component of this place is great, but the courses are fairly simple and the wait was 20 minutes, and we had to wait behind people as they finished the next course because of how packed it was.
While the course is showing its age a little, the glow-in-the-dark mini golf is still a load of fun. The holes are challenging, but not overly difficult.
It's fine for what it is. And what it is is loud! Hard to keep the kids focused and worrisome with golf balls flying everywhere. Just know what you're getting into.
This place is always fun to go on dates at or take the kids! Very outdated these places need to spice it up i think as nothing has changed as far back I can remember
It is Ok ok we went there to kill half n hour waiting at demetres.arcade games are few. Very dark n not so clean.
Was here back in March 2019 and had such an awesome experience! Definitely recommend ???? ????
Went for a little mini golf fun with my sis and we had a blast. The glow in the dark art was really cool. Definitely fun for the young and the young at heart.
Good and sometimes challenging mini putt course with psychedelic black lighting to boot! All the holes are pretty unique and with good variety. However, it can get stale if you go more than once in a short period. Also there a slight general tired look to the place - could use a bit of refurbishment. Definitely family friendly! Don't bother with the gaming machines - too few and in bad shape
Good time, just hard to understand the front desk staff.
Great place for mini putt! Definitely love the glow in the dark!! Such a fantastic experience
Wasnt busy when we went so we got to choose the music in yhe queue and have the course mostly to ourselves. Great date night once in a while especially with its proximity to restaurants and the movies, like cineplex, dave and busters and demtres dessert!
This place is HORRIBLE! Bad service, overpriced, and cheap equipment. I waited an hour to go golfing, once I was called, they told me I had to wait another 10 mins. Why call me if I still needed to wait? Then once I got inside, the place was so dirty. The arcade prizes suck too. You get nothing for your money. The ladies that served me were so rude too. They completely did not care about my experience there. 100% a horrible company, will not be going back.
Too many people on a Wednesday night, had to constantly wait. Customers didn't have masks on but staff dealt with it ASAP. Need hand sanitization stations around the course
The price is very worth it! There were 18 sections and all are super strategic. It’s really fun going on a date here or even a double date or to bring your family. The entire game took about 1h. Thank you for excellent and friendly service. If you would like me to leave a full review and promote on my Instagram page please contact me at @zainah.mb
Horrible experience. Drove 5 hours to meet up with my son and surprise him to be told I cant check to see if they are still here or how far they were in thier game. Told I had to pay 20 to go check. Turned out they were 2 holes from completing thier game. When the desk lady went to go check they said he was not here however the whole team was there for ringette how do you miss so many kids and how come they couldn't take two seconds to announce on the loud speaker at the very least. No help at all. Travel south often never will recommend this very poor customer service
Went with kids and was told it would be a long wait which was surprising because it had noone in there expect the couple in front that took 20min for the cashier to check them in. Clearly missing management and appropriate staff. The course itself is simple, glow in the dark lighting is fun, however upkeep is needed in many areas, the arcade is ridiculous with outdated and broken games. There are other places that are better but this. The only thing that I see going for them is location.
Great little place to take your kids for a fun activity. I used to come here as a child for birthday parties and now bring my children to have a fun round of mini putting
Been going here for years, friendly staff and fun golf course! Great place for a fun time for all sorts of occasions, from family bonding, dates or hanging with friends! All good fun!
Very fun and relaxing experience! The glow in the dark atmosphere is awesome and the 18-hole course has a variety of obstacles. The owner is very sweet and friendly. Would recommend for a family night out before or after a meal.
Clean facility, friendly staff. The glow in the dark art is nice. Make sure you try and go on a not busy night because when there's people waiting behind you and people putting in front of you it makes it less enjoyable. Fun date idea or family outing though.
Very fun but they shouldn’t let rowdy groups of drunk individuals to play the course as it kind of ruins the vibe.
Protocols were followed well but there needs to be more time between bookings. We were waiting for the group ahead of us as were the people behind us which meant there were too many people close to each other. Holes are side by side too which again, allows for too much closeness.
Great little date spot, no idea if price is fair but seems okay. Just be aware that for 2 people it took about 45-1:30 to run through the whole course. So a fairly quick date unless you add something else.
Fun mini putt course, but VERY rude staff! I was waiting for a friend with my children and while waiting I was followed around as if we were doing something wrong EVEN IN THE BATHROOM!! Then the same staff member wouldn't let us play all together because there were 5 of us 2 adults with 3 small children when it wasn't even busy.
Colourful and music playlist is awesome. Great spot for dates or family outtings. -1 for ease of difficulty. If you are a mini putt enthusiast, I would say this is not for you unless it's winter time or the good outdoor places are closed due to rain.
Typical mini putt. My issue was that though I knew it was a glow in the dark location, it was hard to see slopes in the floor. It resulted in a trip/ fall or two around the course. There were some signs up that gave suggestions on alternate ways to putt -one hole had kick the ball, putt backwards, dance, etc. Added another element of fun. It was quite busy and we had to wait. Groups weren't spaced out right- as a group of 4 we let 2 groups of 2 pass us so they weren't held up. I would probably return to this location if looking to mini putt, but mostly because of the many food options around.
Compared to the Vaughan location, it's run down and difficult to Navigate. There was no indication of where to start the putt. On top of that the clubs were EXTREMELY short compared to the Vaughan location and any other mini golf place I've ever been. The person I went with was only 5'5 and even their back was hurting from having to bend down so low. If you wanna go mini golfing, avoid this location and go to either the Vaughan location or glowzone instead.
Was here for the first time today. Went on an afternoon date with my boyfriend. We had lots of fun, the glow and the dark was pretty cool. The only thing I didn’t like was how hot it was in there. It was 30+ degrees today and we were looking for a fun activity inside, but it was just as hot in that room as it was outside.
We drive here for our son play the golf..the employee told my husband the golf is booked for birthday party and that we have to wait..when my husband asked for how long we should wait..the employee said "I don't know"..i went and asked her for a waiting time she said 17 minutes till they start. Add to that most of the machines are broken????????♀️
Terribly overbooked and crowded, use to come here quite a bit now the times are seemingly booked on top of each other, leaving 3-4 groups on every single hole minimum... Aside from that, the young staff working the register did not have the slightest clue of how to behave respectfully or treat a paying customer, exceptionally rude. Complete cash grab by the ownership. When it took 20 minutes to play 2 holes, we walked out and won't ever be going back.
We came from Waterloo for another activity in this plaza and happened to drive by Oakville Putting Edge. We decided to check it out and were very impressed. The design and level of challenge is amazing. The effort that went into creating a space like this is mind blowing. I never would have thought we would have a mini golf place of this caliber so close to home. It was visually stunning. It was also incredibly well maintained, and very clean. My only suggestion that I would make to the owners is to find a way to better identify the holes - maybe a sign above tying into the theming, maybe some glo colouring around the hole - more like hole 16 - but maybe just a bit more. It would save us walking around trying to find the hole.
Thank you Amanda for the exceptional experience and the amazing view of the course
Mediocre experience for $12 per person. The playground is old and worn out, some of the starting bases are not levelled, so ball falls off before you can even hit it. Do not recommend and won't come back.
I have been to putting edge many times. This place never seems to disappoint me. The glow in dark theme makes this mini golf extra special. The price is good $10 and less for teens. I would say it's a good place to have some fun and kids love this place.
