Nice driving range. Simple and basic. Two levels. I gave it only 3 stars because I am use to the driving ranges on the mainland which are much nicer. However the island doesn't seem to many driving ranges so not much demand or competition to have nicer facilities I assume.

Blenkinsop Driving Range driveway is 100 yards past the Mt Dough Golf Course turn, just down from the Root Cellar Organic market. Right now they have a winter special where you can purchase 10 large buckets of golf balls for less than $50. Ten large are normally $85. I am on my second winter special in two months!! The range is wide and long with flags placed at convenient points to practice either your chip or your drive I particularly enjoy the 45 gallon barrels that they've placed at strategic locations for people to chip into. Don't be surprised if you get offered a cigar for draining a shot into one of those drums!

If you want to hit some balls there are not a ton of options in Victoria. Blenkinsop is run down and tattered. It's dreary and gloomy. The balls are old and hard as a rock. Highland Pacific is a far better option ...

Flags and signs are in disrepair, mats are worn, and the parking is crowded. One short, stout, bald guy who seems to wander around there everyday but does little work likes to berate customers. Don't waste your time here!

Dropped by a few times while visiting a friend on the island. Had to rent clubs, and the selection was pretty awful. Overall though the place was nice, clean and friendly. But if you bring your own clubs get there early as the place does get pretty busy.

good size parking lot for the facility with lots of spaces for hitting balls. Has an upper section as well which is always fun as it makes you feel you can drive the ball farther. Lessons and instruction are available here as well. friendly staff and great prices to take some swings

Staff was very helpful and friendly, the range itself is setup well (targets are at useful ranges and the option between open air and covered is nice), and the price makes it a very affordable and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Blinkensop Range has had the same issue since day one, its down hill the first 170 yards. So there is practically no difference from an average 8 iron to a 4 iron. they have added no new markers or targets .... ever.....and currently, the balls are looking very old. For a business that has enjoyed somewhat of a monopoly, you would think they would have re-invested a little into improvements over the years. Another example of the LAME golf industry in victoria.

Excellent price on balls. 80 for $10.00. Perfect for a date or practice. The course is often cleaned and staff are friendly. It is double level driving range that allows for twice as many people to drive balls. Nice snacks and beverages for those who are hungry
