Eight of us came for golf on father’s day at 8 am, none of us had golfed this course before and we were looking forward to trying it out. When we arrived and got our carts, Jervis, I guess he was a course marshall, searched our bags for alcohol and confiscated everything we had. Then, while we were about to tee off he searched our bags again with out asking (while trying to be unnoticed by us) This was father’s day at 8am! It ruined our day. He was very rude and not professional at all. All eight of us will never come back again. It is such a beautiful course but a terrible experience.

I love going to furry Creek to eat with my family and you can't beat the views. It's such a family friendly place I always go there with my family and my little brother loves running around. And to golf there is amazing driving around on a golf cart with my dad and my mom they make everything on that trip so much if you are ever a looking for a place to play a couple of holes by yourself it's a great place to go hope this information was helpful and hope enjoy the golf course the next you are there

Beautiful course with gorgeous views looking out onto the sound. We unfortunately were caught in the rain when we played but can easily see how this is considered one of the best courses in Vancouver. Fair warning, it's a PGA course, so it's not easy!

We golfed here on a quiet weekday and were blown away by the spectacular scenery all throughout the course. This course is so well nestled into nature and in prime condition as well. Although it is a shorter track, Furry Creek is certainly a course that lefty’s like myself enjoy with its many dog’s leg left curls from the tee box around to the greens which are either elevated or placed at the bottom of rolling hills. Do take extra club when hitting on the signature 14th hole par 3 into or against the wind! You may be caught staring in amazement of the hole without thinking about the heavy wind by the water! Unfortunately the kitchen and restaurant staff were not working on the day we went due to staff shortages, but the service we received was quite warm and friendly. This is one of the nicest courses I’ve played and would HIGHLY recommend this track!

I've been going to Furry Creek with my family for Mothers Day right from the beginning and it used to be great. For the past 3 years it's been consistently getting worse and this past weekend was the deal breaker. The food selection was far less (although we paid just as much) and everything was ice cold. Super disappointed. It used to be just packed in there and it was totally empty so I'm sure I'm not the only one who's given up on this as a place for Mother's Day. I can't comment on the rest of the days but their Mother's Day buffet has become beyond disappointing. They lost some loyal customers this weekend :-(

I would give it a five star but due to Darren, the store manager, I'm only going to give it two stars. Darren was very rude in person and on the phone. He clearly doesn't know how to speak or work with customers. We got accused for taking a golf club home when there was only 13 golf clubs to begin with. Very bad experience. Everything was great, except for the service from Darren in particular.

Played here for the first time, the round took 5 and a half hours. It was Sunday and it was nice out but still give me a break, completely ridiculous. There were 3 groups waiting on the tee on a par 4 at one point. Also I think the course slope and rating makes absolutely no sense, this course is much harder than it is rated. I'm a pretty decent golfer, my index is 9.7, and I play quite a bit at Northlands off the blues, I found Furry Creek off the whites was HARDER than Northlands off the blues. And the slope and rating at Furry Creek is only 116 and 67.3 off the whites, Northlands off the blues for comparison is 131 and 69.5... Not all negative as it is an interesting enough course, especially #1 with the huge elevation drop and #14 going out towards the ocean. But not worth the drive unless you live close by in Lions Bay or something imo.

What a fantastic venue for a wedding. Angela Woods (The Wedding Planner) did an amazing job of creating a beautiful day for my stepson and his bride. The setting is incredible and the weather cooperated but what truly brought it all together was Angela's attention to detail and the super service we received from the servers, the bartender and the chefs delicious assortment right from the horderves at cocktail hour to the tasty pizza at the end of the night. This golf course is not for the faint of heart, it's challenging to say the least. Bring lots of extra balls. The course is in great shape with spectacular views that highlight the beauty of BC. Ocean and mountain views abound and don't be surprised if you spot a black bear feeding just off the fairway. Golf carts are mandatory due to some steep fairways and rolling hills that would make walking the course a ten hour affair. At this time the restaurant is still closed, but should it reopen, you would be amazed once more with a view of the waterfall just outside the window. Beautifully manicured, awesome views and a challenging course combine to make golfing this course a spiritual experience. Wow!

My wife and I were on our way to Whistler when we stopped at the Furry Creek Golf Club for lunch. The views are amazing and the meal was very good. The course looks very challenging since the elevation between tee box and green looks to be 100 plus feet up hill to the club house (We live in the coastal area of North Carolina will small hills and no mountains). Unfortunately we did not have our golf clubs with us, but this is one course we would like to play at some future date.

Amazing golf course (even in the pouring rain). Challenging but playable. Was there for a wedding and the people there are absolutely FIRST CLASS. Would recommend them for any kind of group event/conference and definitely weddings. There was an accident (meaning completely shut down both ways) the day of the wedding around 10:30 on the Sea to Sky and the crew at Furry Creek handled it like total pros. Not once did anyone there make anybody feel like the day would be anything less than perfect.

This restaurant is a great place to meet if someone is driving from Vancouver and the other person from Whistler. The golf course setting, is of course lovely, and the view over the Howe Sound is very unique and it really does you good, just sitting and looking at the vista. I have always been pleased with the food and the service. All in all a great place for a really nice lunch or dinner.

traffic was backed up after hiking Deeks and we were hungry and dry so we opted to quench at Furry Creek Restaurant to save a drive and do so something new. The restaurant looks wonky with tables VERY widely spaced, empty feeling. BUT, patio tables have umbrella s and look great! the menu is small but wow, so good! We had Salmon sandwich/ burger and, while no draft, beers are tall cans, less than actual draft anywhere in Squamish, good choices & same qty of suds? Fries side was yummy and BIG, rings were also nice. What a nice find. one quirk though, closes at 5:00pm, inline with last tee time. Try it out, well worth it!

Furry Creek Golf & Country Club looks amazing after the renovations. I got married on Sept 19, 2020 and their team was an absolute delight to work with. Brad, Kalinda, Alexa, and the rest of the wedding-prep team are thorough, considerate, efficient and will go above-and-beyond for you and your guests. They have the experience and passion to pull off a magnificent wedding celebration. My new wife and I could not be happier with how the day went. The team will take care of you and your guests very well. The buffet menu was great, tasted wonderful, and presented beautifully while maintaining strict COVID protocols. The facility is surrounded by beautiful nature. You will have plenty of great photo opportunities along the golf course. We would highly recommend planning a wedding here, especially if you enjoy hiking and the outdoors like us. A++.

My wife and I hosted our wedding here in July and we had an amazing time. The staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive to our needs, and just overall fantastic. The venue met our every need and set things up exactly as we wanted. I would definitely recommend this place for couples looking for the perfect scenic wedding! There is one other thing I feel the need to comment on. There is recent review here from one of our guests that unfairly paints the venue in a very negative light. I want to state in the strongest terms that this does not reflect the thoughts and opinions of my wife and I. His complaints regarding things such as decorations, food choices, and drinks were explicitly our decisions, and not that of the venue. Regarding his complaints about the wedding coordinator, these are blatantly untrue. Alexa, our wedding coordinator was a super star the entire time. She was never, ever, even remotely rude or condescending to anybody--be it guest or fellow staff members. My wife and I have nothing but praise for Alexa and the rest of the staff at Furry Creek. Once again, I wholeheartedly recommend this place as a wedding venue. My wife and I had the happiest day of our life here and it was an absolute pleasure to experience it at Furry Creek!

I had my wedding here at Furry Creek and my husband and I keep looking back and thinking that the day was nothing but perfect! First of all, wedding planning in the time of COVID can be really stressful. The coordinators at Furry Creek (I mainly spoke with Brad and Alexa) were extremely flexible and accommodating as COVID restrictions and our plans changed. When we decided to postpone until July, they even honoured the pricing of our original spring date, which is truly amazing and not something I would expect all venues to do with the demand for wedding venues increasing in summer 2021. We booked this venue sight unseen as we weren't able to do a site tour during COVID, and on the day of I was just blown away with how gorgeous the venue is! I understand the clubhouse recently underwent renovations and it looks so classy. The locker rooms were available for us to get ready in, and while they are in an older section of the building, there was amazing natural light which was perfect for doing makeup and hair. We also started off the day by doing a photo tour around the golf course, with the whole wedding party driving around in golf carts, and it was SO much fun and seriously one of the highlights of the day! The golf course goes right down to the beach by Howe Sound which truly made for stunning photos that I can't wait to see. And my jaw literally dropped when I walked into the ceremony site by the waterfall with my dad... it looked truly magical, surrounded by tall west coast trees and gorgeous flowers. The sound of the waterfall was so peaceful, and although we didn't opt for mics, larger groups might want that to be heard over the rushing water. All the staff members I encountered were extremely nice and professional. Alexa in particular was amazing and kept us on schedule all day, and always seemed to appear right when I needed her or something was scheduled to happen—she did an amazing job coordinating and somehow was everywhere at once! As for food and decorations, my husband and I wanted a casual, relaxed affair. Especially since we weren't sure if restrictions would allow us to have the 20 person event we wanted until about a month before the wedding, we opted to not worry about decor, and really the venue is so beautiful on the day of I didn't miss it. We also wanted a casual cocktail-style lunch reception rather than a sit down meal, which I wasn't sure if it would be possible with COVID restrictions but the venue made it happen by setting up cocktail tables and comfy lounge chairs on the patio outside the Pacific Ballroom. The patio has an amazing view of the golf course and it was a really nice way to mingle and visit while having some food—they also accommodated our request for an assortment of flatbreads! Which is typically one of their late night snack menu options but for 20 people it was perfect and fit the casual vibe we wanted perfectly. It was honestly exactly what we wanted and asked for, and the venue made it happen even though it's not what their typical weddings look like. I am certain that if someone wanted all the bells and whistles of a traditional, more formal wedding, the venue would make that happen too. In short, from a bride's point of view, the venue is extremely easy to work with and I felt so lucky that we found them, and I highly recommend having a wedding at Furry Creek!

This is not a good golf course! Views are excellent for sure but that's where it ends. The only thing missing was the Windmill! Both nines have (3) par 3's and (3) par 5's. Bizarre! Numerous holes don't allow carts but it doesn't tell you that until you're 30 yards into the fairway and needing to reverse you're way out. Carts also spend most of the time crawling in caution mode even on the slightest of declines. The best was delaying our 4 groups by 25min so "VIP's" could get out in front of us. The VIP's were the owners who hadn't even arrived yet. That move spoke volumes about their approach to the client. 16 of us were unanimous - never again.

By far the most picturesque course I've ever played at. You cant beat the views. This course even has a hole that mimics the 17th at TPC Sawgrass with a island surrounded by water and that same home was featured on Happy Gilmour. So cool! Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. From bag drop off to cart delivery and setup. You need to stop by here to golf if you truly are a golfer.

Played this past Sunday on a beautiful day with a 2pm tee time . The course itself is nice and the only staff member we saw working there was friendly enough . The disappointing part is that they have audacity to charge $150 for green fees and have all their amenities closed .That meant no food , no snacks , no beer cart , no water , nothing . Oh and the restaurant was closed too That would have been nice to know prior to driving there . Our group ( who were pretty much the only people on the course ) was starving by hole 10. We would have bought beers and snacks for our round and probably would have stayed for a meal too. Most of the bad reviews here are due to lack of amenities so either the management / ownership doesn’t listen to their customers or they outright dont care . I won’t complain about them not having much of a practice area as many courses in the lower mainland have limited warm up areas . Regardless , it was a tough course with very nice views on a lot of holes but I certainly dont need to play here again . Listen to the other reviews and play another course , there are so many great courses out here .

I’v played FC one day each year with the same foursome for the past 9 years. We were there this last August. I hadn’t really planned on a review but after stumbling upon the website this last week and reading the reviews, I thought I should add my thoughts to the mix. Over the past 8 years I watched as one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played really deteriorate. The greens, tees, fairways and rough all were next to unplayable in 2017. However, in one short year I could not believe the transformation. Level tees with grass, true rolling greens and smooth fairways not seen there in years. I really don’t have the knowledge to understand how such a transformation could take place so quickly. The same could also be said for the clubhouse and the views, both also reclaimed to former grandeur. Well well worth the price and the time it takes to play. It’s not a fast round but the surroundings need to be enjoyed. TW.

Beautiful course, very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised to not be paired with another couple. The golf cart rentals came with a touch screen interactive map of the 18-hole course. It is an extremely challenging course, not for beginners. Would be a beautiful location for weddings as the views are breathtaking. We had some difficulties with the responsiveness of the pro shop regarding tee time confirmations however we did find out they are extremely understaffed due to pandemic related restrictions.

Got rained out standing water on the greens course was totally not playable. Spoke with the GM in regards to a 9 hole rain cheque and he gave us a song and dance about how they couldn't do this for us. Offered us a small discount for a future round. It's so easy to make customers happy but this golf Course chose to not to. Awful experience don't expect customer service. Also for some reason the pro shop was locked at 430 in the afternoon... Not great for revenue.

I cannot say enough good things about Furry Creek after having our small wedding there in September 2020. Of course with the restrictions in place, the wedding was much smaller than we had originally wanted but the staff and environment still made it feel like a huge joyous event. Starting with the facility itself, this is truly a high class and beautifully maintained club. We got really lucky in booking this place sight unseen as we are from pretty far up North and went by pictures alone. I have to say the pictures didn't even do it justice. Every inch of this place was like a dream, our photos turned out amazing no matter where we were. The waterfall terrace was a dream, it felt like we were truly tucked away in nature and it was absolutely beautiful. Since it was such a small group, we didn't need a microphone or anything but the beautiful sound of the waterfall might warrant one for a bigger group. Wildfire smoke rolled in the day before which bummed us out at first since we came all that way for the mountains but everything was still so gorgeous we didn't give it another thought once we saw how gorgeous everything still looked. The reception was held in the Pacific Ball Room which lead to an outdoor space so we had plenty of room to distance and mingle safely. It was a beautiful room and needed only minimal décor to make it special. The food was INCREDIBLE, I think every single person there said something to us about it. I heard about how good people thought the food was for weeks afterwards. Even with a small group we had quite a few dietary restrictions to deal with but it was still a wonderful cohesive menu with tons of options for everyone. Brad Skerrett was our main point of contact for the entire process and was at the event itself. He was an absolute blast and was such a huge help to us to make sure we had everything we pictured for our wedding day and more that we wouldn't even have thought of. Truly though, all of the staff at Furry Creek were incredible and everyone had such a fun time thanks to them. We really feel so grateful that we lucked out getting this venue and though we were disappointed at first that the pandemic caused such a huge change to our day, after having the wedding we wouldn't have changed a thing. If this place is on your list you should really pull the trigger, I cannot recommend it enough. Even if you're not from the area (we were a 13 hour drive away), Squamish is unreal and this place is worth the trip. Also I should add, I personally did not do any golfing but my husband said it was one of the coolest courses he golfed at.

Went there yesterday Sunday after checking their website in the morning. It stated that the Club house will be open after 11pm. Drove over 70 minutes to reach the premise, but was shut out at the gate with a sign stating that weekends are not open during winter season. This is contrary to the information on their website. Furthermore, no definition on "winter season". Total waste of time. Do not know what other rating I can possibly offer.

Traveling from out of town, our group had heard great things about this course. However, we were treated to a complete let down of an experience. Firstly, having to pay for any sort of drink in order to get a cooler on the golf cart is completely unacceptable, especially during a heat wave in BC. Secondly, we played the course on a weekend, and there was no drink cart present, and were left hungry and thirsty for our entire round. In addition, the starter rushed our group off the first tee, in which we arrived early to warm up and take in the views. Despite arriving early, the practice green was cordoned off and garbage left on practice netting. Also, the golf cart monitor (see photo) fell off the cart and almost injured someone riding the cart. Won’t be back unless a big change is made all around.

Love this course. Always so much fun to play. The holes are fairly narrow, but if you are accurate off the tee, you will really enjoy this course. Holes that stand out are 13 and 14. 13 is a straight downhill par 4 that allows for Driver off the tee. 14 doesn't need any explanation. The views from every hole are beautiful. The course was in great shape for late June. Staff are awesome. I have never had a bad experience at this course. Only recommendation: Add a Replay (2nd round same day) feature Monday-Thursday at a discounted rate. I would have played a 2nd round right after my 1st one, but it wasn't worth paying full price again since I had just seen the entire course. Some higher end courses in BC offer it.

I played Furry Creek last year twice in July, and, previous to that, it was 2 to 3 years since I played there. Those rounds from 3 years ago were played on a very run down golf course. Last years round was a pleasant surprise. The conditioning of the golf course was great and re-opened views were spectacular. Thank you to Furry Creek for making our dreams come true with our wedding this past weekend. Myself and Brendan got married on Saturday September 26, 2020. We originally planned for June 6, 2020 but we decided to postpone it to the latest date possible for this year due to the pandemic. Brad was absolutely amazing with answering and addressing all the concerns we had with all the new restrictions. He also was prompt to respond of any questions we had and really put us at ease during all this time of uncertainty. The venue has big locker rooms with natural light which is great for getting ready in. They also provided us with lunch while we got ready which was great. The venue’s photo location is their biggest selling point- there’s several beach areas, rock cliffs, tunnels and bridges which are great for photos. The views will not disappoint! We wanted to have our ceremony at the waterfall site but because of the rain, we would not be able to have a speaker outside and the waterfall was very loud. We ended up having it in the Howe Sound room which was bright and over looked Howe sound. It was perfect. The cocktail hour was in the sea to sky restaurant which is beautiful with its gold light fixtures and large patio windows. The pacific ballroom has been renovated with beautiful pot lights and needs little to no decorations. Thank you to Kalinda for all your help with setting up the reception area and making sure everyone was well taken care for food and drinks. The food was absolutely amazing- we did Indian fusion (lamb korma, daal, rice, bread) as well as western food (potatoes, seasonal veggies and prime rib). They didn’t say no to any of our decisions on food. We ended the night with a POUTINE BAR which was a huge hit. The staff were so accommodating and took extra precautions to make sure everyone was safe and social distancing through out the night. We can’t thank you all enough for everything you did and will share all the photography and videos as they come. THANK YOU

First time to visit Vancouver and found this scenic and challenging Golf course. It is located the mid way to whistler ski resorts and Vancouver. The course lay out is very narrow and challenging . Lots of creek in between your approach to the green. Lots of challenge with very mindful to plan your game. The course is well maintained and the signature hole 14 is amazing ! You just play along the lake and it was beautiful! The fairway is up and down . Every hole has it’s own character and challenge! We are lucky to witness a baby bear walking through our fairway!!!
