A private golf course and country club. Members only. Mandatory dress code. Exceptional grass. Excellent views. Quiet. Well maintained. Professional personell. I felt that the world slowed down once I drove on their property. The reception area is very rustic, old fashion, with traditional elements, but solid and well built, when compared to the regular homes even in West Vancouver. I am not a member but for many years I have done service for them.

My family held a surprise birthday party for me on Friday September 23rd, 2016 with a total of 45 attendees. The setting was great, the food was equally good and the service made everything move well. Many of the guests have remarked on the quality of the event. I am told by the organizers that the Catering Manager was very helpful in putting the arrangements in place. I hope that these comments will be conveyed to the staff to show our appreciation of their contribution.

Winter Wedding Susanne was our primary contact at Capilano Golf & Country Club and she was a pleasure to work with. She collaborated and effectively communicated with us and our wedding planner to help us celebrate. The food was unparalleled!!! Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had hands down. We went with a buffet and had nothing but fantastic reviews for the quality, quantity, and selection. If food is a priority, I would recommend the golf club hands down. It is to die for! The venue space was also a huge selling point as our wedding took place in the winter and many venues we looked at catered to being outdoors which was an unlikely option for a February wedding. We had access to the full main floor which meant we didn't feel crammed into one room. We had a room designated for each part of the night and every room had its own unique character and appeal. The decor and design of the space are stunning on its own which means we didn't need a ton of added decor. Mostly just brought in things to add to an already gorgeous space. With it being a golf-club there are some member rules and somewhat outdated ones (Men's only areas) there are a few limitations as to where you can get pictures done, depending on the time of year when you are using the venue and how busy the course and members areas are. However, with it being February for us Susannah was amazing at working her magic to find the perfect spots for us. We were superbly happy with the venue and Sussanah! We would recommend it to others.

Not a member or a golfer but always find visits to be nice. The views from the restaurant are ????. Service is generally good but I’ve found food quality to be hit and miss. Never terrible but on several occasions mediocre or just ok.

I worked here last summer with course and grounds team and was able to play quite a few rounds of golf. The course is really meticulously maintained of which I had first hand knowledge of the effort that goes into this everyday. Very walkable course with some spectacular views of the city..can’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon.. Jamie, Mike and Stu are really top class guys and make working there a real pleasure..Without a doubt one of the best golf courses in Canada..

We went there for 2018 iranian Norooz party and had an exceptional time. Quality of food and presentation was exquisite and it seemed the place was running under well organized management supervision. It didnt get five due to not accepting credit card for drink tickets and not having lots of servers per each table.
