There is no such thing as etiquette. Be prepared to be held up while much slower players take their time. You can ask them to let you play through and they will deny you. The marshall will ask them to let you play through, and THEY are denied. Then you'll have random people just standing out in the middle of your fairway! And again nothing done!

Rented clubs as I'm visiting. They gave me a bag with two fives (of different lengths), a six, driver and putter. Thankfully I noticed that there was no pitching wedge and got them to grab me one. Unfortunately, the putter was the wrong hand. Customer service was lackadaisical in general.

Osprey Links Golf Course provides two excellent golf experiences, links on the front nine, and a back nine that rivals the nicer courses I've played in the forested Canadian foothills. One of the nicest courses I've played in the North Bay area.

Best public course in the North Bay area! Course conditions this year have been great! Greens and fairways are in great shape. Par 71. 6,442 yards from the back tees. Front 9 (par-36) is flat and open, but don't let that fool you. Plenty of water and bunker trouble to avoid. Front 9 also includes some long par-4's and hard doglegs over hazards. Not exactly a traditional links track, but a really interesting open parkland layout. Back 9 (par-35) is a completely different challenge, hilly, tight, and forested, which makes for a great mix. Many holes carved right out the rocks giving it a Muskoka-feel. Watch out for the tight/challenging #12. Back 9 is shorter with an extra par-3. Course is working on some improvements including new forward tee boxes (in addition to the 3 standard tee boxes) which should help with pace-of-play. Clubhouse has great food options and on-course service is excellent! Please drive safely through the residential neighbourhood to the clubhouse. Lots of kids.

Great golf course in every way, 3 x 18 holes to choose from. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help, from the lady at the power cart station to the starter to the restaurant staff. It was our first time there and the starter guided us how to play the first hole and watched our balls for us. Amazing guy. The course we played was Heathland and it was both challenging and fairly designed for every level of player. Driving range was included. Food was fantastic too and reasonably priced. Love this course. Well worth the long drive from GTA.

Par for the course! Osprey boasts a nice club for medium size occasions, very professional and friendly staff, immaculately maintained greens and a variety of hole difficulty. It is open to non-member play. The course is open for the first 9 holes so bring your sunscreen!

Fun but challenging course. Front 9 is links style with some hidden shots. Back 9 is cut into the hills, beautiful but challenging.

Worst experience I ever had golfing. We we're followed and harassed and kicked off after 3 holes. I would never recommend going there. I won't even give this place a star. We we're told we we're to slow. but when we asked no one was waiting on us.

Minus 1 star. It’s sad to say but take your money elsewhere. The Staff and course are horrendous. I’ll be taking my business to Pinewood or Highview. Don’t waste your money at this overpriced course. They just have no clue

Course was not as good as I expected. There were piles of remains from the aeration left around many greens and it caused issues. Some greens were littered with the dirt from aerating and made it difficult to putt. The tee boxes were in rough shape and it just seemed as though the crew was just going through the motions and not really caring.

Golfed a rainy Saturday here. The course was in great shape! Good drainage so I didn’t feel like I was walking around in puddles. Kids are free which was an amazing surprise. They even have free golf club rentals if you forget yours or if you just want to try it out. We will definitely go back!

Back Nine Is a little tougher than the front nine!

Not a very fun experience. Tried to go out for a fun time with family to get our minds off a recent loss. And the owner came and said that we were being to slow. At that time we had nobody following us. So we said we will watch to see if anyone catches up and we will let them play through. Still nobody caught up to us. When he came out to see us again, granted at this point we were frustrated because he ruined our day already. He kicked us off because the course was obvioulsy overbooked. Would not recomend for anybody looking to get out and have a good relaxing day off golf. Very unfortunate because I enjoyed playing here in the past. I personaly will not be returning to this course.
