Beautiful facility. I didn't get a chance to play golf as I was in a running race but I found adequate bathrooms (important for runners!). Our event was in a large tent that was slightly overcrowded, add some people were tripping over the chairs that ended up being extra anyways. The live band was awesome. The part of the golf course looked hard to play but in a good way!

One of, of not, the best courses in WNY. No free driving range anymore but I still give it 5 stars. The starter on the weekends is hilarious and knowledgeable. Course plays hard to the surface so play shots a bit short, tough to stick a layup shot without it rolling into the hazard.

People love their fish fry, but I find the atmosphere an issue. The tables are in the bar so if the golfers are there and excited it's going to be loud.

The facility features a great practice range with grass tees and a very reasonable rate for a large bag. Included in the price is access to a very nice putting green and chipping green. The pro shop staff is efficient if not overly friendly. Shop is small with a good selection of products priced commensurate with a typical resort operation. Restaurant facility very small. Having never utilized it I can offer no opinion. Recently (10/27/20) played 9 holes with my son. Because it was late in the season we were able to walk on without a tee time and we had the inward half to ourselves. Considering the time of the year and recent wet weather, the course was in excellent condition. A bit of a links feel to it. Greens are somewhat on the small side and very fast. Accuracy and length are rewarded. My greatly deteriorated game was not up to the challenge but my son managed to get around in good shape. Nonetheless I cannot detract from the course rating based on how lousy my game has become. So - I visit the practice range and putting green quite often and enjoy it immensely. If I could turn back the clock the same could be said for my experience on the course.

Stay at the Seneca Casino and had transportation take us up. This is a nice course! Golfed with friends on 31 July 2019. But the service here absolutely is terrible! If I could have found a manager I would have said something. Check-in took 30min no staff around for the carts and clubs. Then when we finish, not one waitress would come over, then when we flagged one down she ask us how we got there, it a patio! We won't be back!

For those looking for a challenge to their golfing experience, Seneca Hickory Stick is the destination.To start the staff makes you feel really welcome and are knowledgeable in their responsibilities. Fairways are well groomed, lined with trees and heather, multiple illusions of depth. Water challenges make you up your game, if you don't, want to lose a sleeve of balls per hole. The greens are well protected by well groomed sand traps. I'm looking forward to my next outing there.

Golfed with 3 friends on 6/13/2019. Course was in excellent condition and the starter was friendly and professional. It is hard to beat this course based on price and golf course conditions. One of my favorites.... BUT, the service in the restaurant is terrible. We ordered chicken wings as soon as we sat down and it took 45 minutes to get 20 wings. Granted, it was busy but it's kind of a joke. Not sure if they don't have enough staff on to handle Wednesday wing night but the service was poor. I said to the manager/bartender that it was taking too long and she said that she would make it right, which she did, by taking off the wings entirely. BUT....it took 10 minutes to get a second beer as I think the girl forgot about it and if she wasn't so busy talking to other staff members and the guy sitting at the bar, she probably would have been able to serve my drink faster. We had also ordered food which took an hour in total to receive. Just not a good experience overall. They have good food but the wait times are very long. This is not the first time that we have had bad restaurant service but it could be the last time we eat there. We'll golf there but maybe go somewhere else after our round.

It is defiantly a beautiful place! I recommend maybe going on bike rides at night they have a few ponds to a lot of frogs me and my kids go there a lot and hint for frogs defiantly a nice place!!

Absolute garbage phone system. Cannot speak to a live individual - like dealing with a cable provider. But this is the world we live in now. Was immediately put on hold three times, and hung up on once. Waited atleast 10 minutes each time while it repeated every fifteen seconds that they "appreciated my patience and a representative would be with me shortly" - which was incredibly obnoxious to listen to over and over and over again. I was trying to book 16 golfers, most of which are single digit handicappers, and we would of spent hundreds of dollars outside of golf, but I couldn't get to a live individual and get three simple questions answered. So unprofessional and I cant imagine how much revenue is lost due to this. Called another course and had everything resolved in literally three minutes. Answer your phones, I never complain or write reviews but this was ridiculous.

My group and I played here on a weekday night (Friday). We teed off at 6pm and were explicitly charged the 18 hole rate. We were not told anything about pace at the turn and proceeded to play 14 holes before being kicked off at 8:50 pm. When calling to get my clarity today, I mentioned we had finished at 9:20 in the weeks prior. In return, the pro shop said “we reserve the right to close the course at our discretion”. I was hung up on and did not receive any compensation in return despite only playing 14 of 18 holes.

It was nice. Great for a public course. As a Club golfer, be prepared for a long day. Golf was over 5 hours, but enjoyed every minute of it. The lounge afterword was a great place for a drink after a hard day on the course.

Overall nice experience for golf except one thing. It’s not fun to throw darts at a dartboard blindfolded. A person needs to see a target to enjoy the challenge. You’ve allowed the reeds to obscure too many holes to the point where blindly hitting many shots, thus reducing the challenge to hitting and keeping your fingers crossed. The greatest courses in the world are difficult but fair, leaving the shotmaker to determine his fate instead of a flip of a coin.

Full maintenance done during round. Cutting grass and the grass blower...allows for easy concentration while on the course. Easily had 6 or 7 holes where someone popped out of nowhere...part of the maintenance crew. Was not impressed.

Well maintained fairways and greens made for a great round. The pace of play seemed to be slower due to the layout which can hide the group ahead if they miss the fairway. Tall grass makes a lost ball impossible to look for and some tees pose tricky visuals.

One of my favorite courses in WNY. Love the wide fairways, which provide options and angles into the greens. Excellent greens and green complexes. Only gripe is with the stupid plastic hole liners that they use in the cups. Get rid of those things.

My brother and I went out on a Thursday afternoon, pro shop staff was friendly. After that we walk outside go down to where we see carts, the starter was extremely rude and snappy. We hadn't even said anything and he was rude. Then we were given a dirty cart. Trash still in it, mud in it, it looked like they sprayed it wet and called it clean. Then the starter let a four some go out ahead of us when we were only a two some and then we got stuck behind them and never got to play thru. Adding to it, We were ready before the four some. The course is nice, but way over-played. I feel bad for the grounds superintendent and his staff. People trash that course day in and day out.

As a very casual golfer, I've played this course twice and really like it. It has some challenging holes but not so much that it gets frustrating. The food is excellent and they have a nice pro shop too.
