This course is Great! I tag along with my husband , sometimes walk it. Surrounded by scenic beauty, the course for most part is free of steep hills. Al & his staff team are amazing! Always friendly and welcoming. We love Welsford.

Great Public golf course with friendly staff. Got on after a 1 hour frost delay to what turned out to be a great round in 17 deg temps. Beautiful fall colors and a round of golf finished the season on a high note.

What an absolute embarrassment of a golf course. Poorly kept, substandard facilities and not enough carts for players (my playing partner had a torn meniscus, and no carts were available midmorning). Go and play literally any other course, you'll be happier. Yikes.

I've been golfing here for almost 20 years and still love it. It's gone from a 9 hole 'just for fun' course to a beautiful 18 hole gem nestled in picturesque Welsford. The difficulty level hits the sweet spot, challenging enough for the seasoned vet, but also well suited to novices. Al Barr and his staff take equally excellent care of both the course and their customers. Very affordable, easily walkable.

9 holes or 18.... Welsford Golf Course is a wonderful way to spend a day, and when you are done, you can enjoy a beverage and snack in the clubhouse. If walking 9 or 18 doesn't appeal to you, there is a fleet of GOLF CARTS available for rental. ENJOY your day

Do not book online, had a confirmation email for a tee time and carts, got there and they had nothing in the system for us. They didn’t seem to care that we had a confirmation.

Such a beautiful and scenic golf course right in the Douglas Valley. Only 20 mins from Saint John or 30 mins from Ormocto. Well worth the drive!

Scenery in the area is beautiful but the golf course was in sub-par condition. Fairways were very uneven with ups and downs every few feet, making the balls trajectory after each bounce a guessing game. Fairways were also rock hard with weeds growing up everywhere. There were mounds of sod in some fairways as if maintenance had begun on an area but had been forgotten about midway through. The rough was very thick and had grown up past our ankles in areas, resulting in losing our balls in the middle of some holes, as well as finding other lost balls in the rough. The bunkers appear to have been untouched this season as they are full of weeds and very hard, clearly had not been raked recently. Tee boxes were uneven, resulting in teeing off on a mild slope most of the time. Greens were very soft and quite slow, and the ball would take odd hops as it was rolling after a putt. If you want to take in the Welsford scenery for a few hours, and take a few golf swings, its a fine course. If you want to play golf, I would go elsewhere.

Love it! Seriously sunny spot! Out of the fog belt but not crazy hot weather either. Fairly level course, relaxed attitudes and pace of play which is great for everyone in my family. Love sipping a draught on the patio before and or after a game!
