The Granite Pointe RV Park is FAR from an RV Park. It is literally 7 asphalt parking spots that were numbered just to be RV spots. It is nothing more than camping in a parking lot. The wi-fi does not work in this location. The bathrooms are closed/locked after the golf course closes. The power was not even working yet when we stayed there (and it was NOT disclosed to us even at check-in nor were we given a reduced rate because of this!!). Members/golfers use the parking spots for their own personal vehicles. No place to walk a dog except around the parking lot. Very rude manager who did not hide his annoyance with having to manage the RV 'park' to begin with. When I spoke to the manager about not having power or wi-fi there was no apology or attempt to remediate the situation. i've had better experiences camping in Walmart parking lots....for free.

Great course, staff are really friendly and welcoming, probably the most "chill" course I have ever been on... 30$ 6 packs, super hilly I recommend a cart.

Recently stayed in the RV park area with a few buddies, what a great experience! The couple running the place are really friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. The course conditions were great too especially for the time of year, and I cant say enough about the greens. Overall it was a 10/10 experience, I will be returning no questions asked.

I love Granite! My home away from home... We're lucky to have a course like this here in our own backyard. Always well maintained and the greens are in excellent shape. It's a fair challenge and it really makes you think. Definitely not driver and an iron every hole. If you're playing smart, you'll probably be using every club in the bag. The views are amazing and the patio has to be one of the best in town!

Restaurant is great. Service is good for Nelson. The pro shop had very friendly staff and as someone who does not golf but just came to hit some balls at the range, they made me feel very welcome.

Granite point golf course is a great place to golf for the Nelson community, and a nice way to see the local flora for visitors.With a lovely walk, and not very difficult terrain it's a perfect course for casual golfers. The meals are reasonably priced if not a little too expensive, but very delicious food. Good staff, a nice vibe, but I will say that the grass can be of poor quality along with upkeep of some of the holes. Dont let this stop you from enjoying the course though, because it's a wonderful experience catered to the most okay golfers.

Granite Pointe knowingly destroyed one of the last blue heron habitats left on our mountain side. If you remotely care about the environment, then I'd recommend practicing your game elsewhere. This business (which is heavily subsidized by our town, thank you city of Nelson) is a cancer on our mountain side. It should not be given any tax breaks. It only exists so entitled boomers can hit their little balls around with their little sticks, while having their little heads buried in ground full of pesticides.

Classic West Kootenay golf club. Mountain course. Take a cart! Really fun greens in excellent shape. Practice range. Patio. Friendly staff that were all very, very friendly and accommodating throughout out 5-days of play. Keep a camera on the ready. Lots of terrific views.

Greens in great shape in comparison to other courses in the area. More elevation changes than most courses but an interesting challenge. Food and drinks are good. Would recommend a cart first time around.

Review for the Camping Spots not the Golf Course. Last Summer we camped our trailer here in the parking lot after being run out of the City Campground by second hand smoke. Nice quiet spots on the back lot with power, water, WIFI, and access to the clubhouse for bathroom and showers. Food at the clubhouse is pretty decent too.

Hands down the absolute worst place to camp. Not a campsite it's a golf course. No fires, you sleep in a parking lot and no washrooms for the entire 12 hours. Everything is lock like fort Knox. Friggin joke.

For been close to town it's not bad, but Balfour golf course or Crawford Bay is well worth the 1/2 hr drive. Granite Point is looking tired and needs some TLC. It does have great views though and the staff are friendly.
