I used to think of this as the budget track in the area with the worst conditions of the area, but it has improved greatly, more on par with this region. Great updates to the clubhouse and course conditions have improved. Layout is OK, but with the constant elevation changes with lots of elevated tees and little room between many of the fairways, there is constant danger of being hit by errant tee shots. Pace of play in my experience is not good. The last time I golfed here I was especially unimpressed by three groups being let in on hole 10 ahead of us.

My favourite golf course!

Okay golf course on escarpment. Decent greens, okay fairways and conditioning. Touch overpriced but reflects Collingwood area location. Staff are generally good. Some nice vistas. Stiff walk up and down escarpment.

It was a nice golf course I enjoyed myself. Nice scenery. I recommend this course.

Awesome course!

Not the longest challenge but a great up and down track near Collingwood. The real teeth of this course is the elevation changes and the greens. Course maintenance was average but the greens were a perfect 10. Staff was pleasant and friendly. I would recommend a round out here if you're in the area. Take a cart, I carried my bag and it's quite a hike.

The course is in great shape despite the dry weather this spring. The greens are fast and true. The staff was great. Fairly quick round for how busy the course was.

Scott Leggatt

Scenic views. A little tricked up here and there. And our group thought a little over-priced.

Thoroughly enjoy playing this course. If you enjoy thinking your way around a golf course this is the place to go. I use every club in my bag, every time I play. Much risk reward with water placed strategically around the course.

Good value golf, beautiful views of the Bay. There is work underway to make improvements, greens are good, many tee boxes are in rough shape and not level. A fun day out.

Nice course, nice views

This course was really fun to play. Very hilly and challenging at times, really well taken care of too. I found the greens were really fast at times. It's a Par 4 course, with some short holes too. It's a course I would play again but would approach differently for sure. Visually a great place to play too.

Played here over Labor Day Weekend with a mixed crew - expert to novice. Course was a lot of fun. Fairways were suffering a bit from end of summer dryness (and the balls FLEW). Overall, decent course and really convenient to Blue Mountain.

Beautiful day, great golf course.

A fun course to play with many elevated tees and scenic views of the region. There are some blind tee shots that need some playing in order to learn where to hit it. The best reason to play this course is it holds many holes that you really have to think about before you make your shot. The greens are quick and greasy, and approach shots that aren't online roll off the sides easily. The greens putt true and though the course runs three or four holes wide at points, you must be on a fairway in order to make shots. The rough was maintained and longish, eating all of our trio up at one time or another. My only complaint (and it is minor) was that the tee boxes were not close to level and needed some seeding. They were playable, but needed some TLC. The staff was very friendly, especially in the kitchen. Food was great at lunch. Highly recommend for all levels. I shot somewhere around 94 and didn't lose a ball. You really have to hit your spots around the greens and on the par 3's. Highly recommended. C

You want a challenging course with absolutely breathtaking views? This is the spot. I’ve played here a few times and every time presented new challenges. This course Kees you humble and also brings out joy and calm. Worth the price.

We experienced a piece of heaven snowshoeing at Duntroon Highands yesterday. My first social outing with friends in a long time. We felt VERY safe - socially distanced 2 metres while snowshoeing and other visitors were equally respectful. Wonderful baked goods and warm beverages around a firepit after. Felt almost 'normal'. Thank you Stacie and team for making your 'gem' available to us throughout the winter.

Played for the first time this morning. As hot as it was the course was in excellent condition. The club pro recommended I play with two regulars which ended up helping considerably with shot selection the first time around this track with all of the elevation changes and a few doglegs. That said hey had a book with much of the same tips available. Used virtually every club in the bag. Greens are challenging requiring thoughtful approach shots. Members and guests do a good job of repairing divots in greens. Round took about 4.5hrs with 3 players and a foursome up ahead. Walking not recommended. I will definitely be back.

My first experience here was today. Cant say enough about how great it was. Everything was in pristine condition, the staff were pleasant and helpful and you cant say enough about the views. Thanks for the awesome day!

Do not waste your time playing here. Staff are great and there are some beautiful views however this course is not worth it. There are several holes that you have no clue what to do. Two of the par fives have such odd shaped 2nd or 3rd shots that they are not overly playable as par 5s. Save your time and money and play somewhere else.

It's a tough track but so interesting. Every hole is a challenge with lots of elevation changes. It will be easier the 2nd time with knowledge of the directions for the best play. The views are spectacular and the course is in great shape.

This is a fun course to play with lots of unique challenges, elevation gains and amazing views. The staff and atmosphere are relaxed and friendly so everyone in our group enjoyed their day even though there were significant differences in skill level. Food was great too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Collingwood or Blue Mountain.

We came from London Ontario. We watched a a few videos and they make it sound so great. $100 a round tax in with cart…. probably one of the worst courses I’ve played this year. Greens were atrocious, fairways were hard as concrete and the tee blocks were trash! Do NOT spend $100 dollars here for a round of golf. Go somewhere else. Absolutely atrocious. Save your money.

Beautiful course. Short but difficult and shot placement is important. Expensive for the course with a temporary green on the back nine and no drinks on the course, cash only if they were operating the half way hut. Still beautiful and worth at least going once for the views and a different type of course. It was maintained well and the greens were fast.

Nikola Lapenna

A beautiful picture-esque course that follows hills through the niagara escarpment... a true challenge!

As you can see from my pics that the course was very dry. That did not affect my rating though. Elevation changes were awesome but that also makes the course tough to walk. Greens were nicely watered. Tricky undulating greens. Very pricey, my 11 year old son and I played on a Tuesday morning around 10 am. It cost $145 for both of us including a cart and taxes. Many courses let the junior play for free with a paying adult. The course should consider adopting that policy. I may play again but by myself unless they let juniors play for free.

Beautiful golf course, elevated tees with views of the Bay

Really enjoy playing this course every time i go. Its such a beautiful course and everything is kept so nice and clean. The staff have always been so nice and they have done some great upgrades over the past few years and continue to do more every time i go out. If you are lucky enough you might get a visit from one of the family of foxes that live near the course, I have seen on a few occasions a friendly fox just casually frolic on the fairway in the distance and play in the grass. Highly recommend this course.

Sandy Sanderson

Had no preconceived notions about this course, however you could tell as you were driving up the long driveway that is was in great shape. Several elevated tees with views of Collingwood and Georgian Bay. Great variety of holes and well maintained We will definitely put this on our list of courses to play if we are in this area again.

Every year I play this course a handful of times and before this year the course is usually nice with great views, elevated tee boxes and wide open fairways to open up a little on your drives. Played today though and I have to say it was probably on par with some of the worst conditions I have ever seen at a course, simply from the fact that I don’t think any part of the course has been watered. I am not sure if this is due to water shortages but the tee boxes were mostly just dirt, the greens were bumpy and extremely rock hard and fast, and the fairways were rock hard too. For the almost $100 it costs to play there, I can not recommend this course this year. Should probably be priced at $35 a round including cart with these conditions. Monterra at Blue is in much better shape for about the same money right now.
