Dining room is too loud to talk without shooting. Wait staff was nowhere to be found during service. Had to wait over 80 minutes to be served. Vegetables were undercooked and then left too long under a hot lamp so they also came out dry.

The golf course itself is fantastic, but alas I went to the restaurant only. The service was slow enough most definitely. On the plus side I finally finished the 7 masters degrees I always wanted. I'm a dot Com billionaire already! Might change the rating to 5 stars.

Clean, well maintained golf course. There is a small shop to buy any golf gear, smaller selection. Has selection for ladies and gents. There is a bar with a couple of beer taps. A small bar outdoors too. There is a dine in available, which I haven't tried, as we were in for a tournament.

We only went there for dinner at Ember, so this is the review for the restaurant, not the golf course. We had steak, full ribs and 2 kids meal steak, a cocktail, a glass of red, a liquored coffee and creme brulee, the whole meal was $200 for 2 kids 2 adults. Food was great. They took their pride in steak, special of the day also had kangaroo, bison but we didn't try. Food was from local Ontario farmers, even ketchup was home made. Good vibe, good staff and great food. The only decent dining place we could find in Sault. 10mins drive from downtown.

Overpriced, was charged $55 for nine holes at 6:20pm. Poor condition greens and tee blocks. Staff is horrendous all around, marshalls are there to hang out with fellow retirees and the grounds crew dont know basic course etiquette or just simply dont care. Speaking of etiquette, they should teach that to 95% of the players because five hours for two people to complete 18 holes is not acceptable. Course could be a contender for the canadian open any given year if they had management that knew just a little bit about grass and maintenance. Also they have signs saying masks are needed when indoors but those are not enforced as members walk freely throughout the pro shop and restaurant with no mask on.

Have not golfed here but attended a wedding and it was beautiful!! Food was plentiful and delicious, servers were professional and great at getting food out and plates cleared without being a distraction from the reception speeches. The grounds were beautiful, club house washrooms were clean and the bartender at the outdoor bar was fast an knowledgeable. Wonderful experience for the bride as well as the guests.

The trout was excellent. It was well-seasoned and nicely plated. However, the sugar snap peas were inedible as they were quite fibrous. Not sure what was going on with coffee. Everyone's coffee was luke warm. The service was fantastic and it is a beautiful spot.

Very picturest, difficult greens....Tuff track. You cannot or you shouldn't walk this course. Very hilly, and great distances between holes. Well taken care of.

My 5 star review was for years ago when the course treated members with respect. Updated it since reviews on Facebook were REMOVED. Many upset members left reviews of being mistreated and not getting what they paid for. I felt the need to have opinions be heard.

I remember in the good ol' days, this was a beautiful field in the middle of a forest. Sadly, these terrible people have moved in and tore up all the beauty. This is now some other golf course for the wealthy swine who go here.

Beautiful course, friendly staff. Food prices are ridiculous $7.50 for a hot dog on a cold bun right out of the bag, bun was more of a sausage bun, had more bun than hot dog. Single serve packet of mustard and ketchup, no relish. This sub par hot dog cost more than a beer. First and last time buying food. Will bring my own snacks next time.

The premiere golf in the area. Priced accordingly but if gagued against southern Ontario it is a bargain, not so much when compared against U.S.A. 2 hours south. The new pro shop is an improvement. The practice facility is very good but balls are not included in green fees, not very classy. The track is pretty standard but has some elevation changes that up the experience and one of the most nerve wracking par 3s out there. Not walking friendly for most given hills, but walkable mostly with only a few long jaunts green to tee. A desirable outing.
