Went in to buy replacement spikes for my old Adidas Traxion shoes. Bought a spike wrench and replacement spikes. The spike wrench broke after taking the spikes out of 1 shoe. And they sold me the wrong spikes! The good news is this: I returned to Golf Town and they replaced both items without any hassle at all. Gave me a new Spike Wrench and got me the right spikes. Sami was very helpful with the returns and now I have my new spikes. Great recovery Golf Town! I'll be back. Thank you...

terrible service from this golf town, bought a sim 2 driver after hitting 3 golf balls at a driving range club broke, which isn't golf towns fault. I brought it back to repair , which the club has a a guarantee from Taylor made, I brought it mid may told me was gonna take a month, took more then that, then they told me they got my shaft, but I had to return a loaner which they never provided me, and wouldn't give me my club without the loaner after explaining that I never took a loaner, they gave me the shaft without the head, I never had took back my broken head. They said they would get back to me, but its been two weeks and still nothing I spent 800 on a driver I could never use, I just couldn't understand why they couldn't give me another driver and arrange it with Taylor made for the lemon of a driver I got. The service is horrible at this golf town never going back again.

Visited this Golf Town today with my boyfriend as he wanted to buy a set of irons. We were helped by a great associate on floor but once we reached the cash our experience went horribly. Justin (I think that was his name) the sales representative manager was checking us out and could not process a $50 gift card we had. He was incredibly rude and condescending and insisted that because the card was not swiping on the machine he could not input the card number manually on the pinpad (despite calling the number and confirming there was a $50 balance on the card). This manager refused to enter the number manually and said it was not possible and he would not accommodate us in any way, he was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. The kicker is we went over to the Leaside Golf Town right after which had the same set of clubs and we had amazing service. They were able to check us out with no difficulty, the manager there INPUTTED THE NUMBER MANUALLY on the machine after the swipe was not working. The service was amazing at the Leaside location and checkout was 5 minutes versus a 30 minute battle at this location. Please do not visit this location, do yourself a favour and go anywhere else as the service here is horrendous.

Recently went into this location to pick up some new golf shoes. Walked in with my wife and daughter and was yelled at by some bald old guy associate from across the store to not try on gloves. Customer coming in right behind was greeted and asked if he could be of assistance. Guess we didn't look hoity toity enough to be treated respectively. Shoe department worker was extremely helpful, but I was so mad, I couldn't bring myself to buying that day. Will not shop at this location again.

Spent a lot of time with us at a "swing bay" (?) analysing my husband's swing, giving us a high tech view of his swing and offering different clubs/tweaks to improve his game out on the course. Aug 21/19 While shopping I Had to go and find a sales assistant to help me after visibly waiting in the women’s club area for 5 min or more Once a floor staff was found he gave good assistance. Moved on to the cash where I was served by a young man with dark hair wearing a blue shirt. He answered the store phone at the same time as he started to ring my purchase though . He continued to have a full conversation with the person on the phone about club grips. He attempted to scan my purchases as he continued his phone conversation. At this point I was annoyed enough that I took moved to the putting area allowing him the space to have his conversation. I felt like a very undervalued customer and frankly more of an object than a person. A few minutes later he slammed the phone down and different clerk finished the transaction. This was substandard service. Which will effect my future Golf Town shopping.

Customer service is non-exisitant. Went in on a Sunday and there were more staff members that clients in the store. Purchased a few products including new grips, I asked about double sided tape and was told they don't have that in the store. they regrip clubs there, they must have it. the cashier acted like I was infringing on her time, not rude just hated being at work. I know this is a bit late, but roughly 7 years ago I went in and tested and purchased a driver. It was my first driver so I didn't really know what I needed, but there was a guy helping me out and I was trying them in the simulator. Everything seemed good so I made the purchase and proceeded to struggle with this club at the range and on the course due to the wicked slice to the right. I figured since I was new that I'd learn and grow into the club. Flash forward to yesterday and I'm golfing on vacation in Scottsdale when my father in law let's me try his driver. While he was holding mine he had a look and saw that it was a SENIOR FLEX SHAFT! Why would anyone in their right mind sell a 6'5" 23 year old this wet noodle of a club!? All these years I've thought it was my fault and that I needed to stop swinging so hard or correct my grip I could have been learning to use a proper driver for my swing, not to mention saved a ton of lost balls and strokes. Not much I can do now but I wanted to share how incredibly frustrated I am to learn this. Guess I have to go shopping (not at GolfTown) again...

In the short time we were there, we observed 4 employees. One with a mask, and three without. One had a mask on, but pulled down under her chin. Out of the 20-30 people in and around the building (in line) only 5 people wore masks outside OR inside the store. The store only provided a small spritz of sanitizer when you enter, but offer none when you leave. IT IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO SHOP.

Je cherche un commis, je lui demande si je peux essayer des souliers et avoir des conseils, il me répond "oui oui, tu n'as qu'à les essayer toi même"... Donc 45min dans la sections des souliers tout seul sans aide de personne. En plus je me fait mettre dehors à 17h un jeudi... C'est terminé pour moi Golftown! Les prix sont cher et je n'ai jamais eu un aussi mauvais service client de toute ma vie. Finalement je suis aller au Liquidagolf à 5min du Golftown où j'ai eu un excellent service et des prix beaucoup moins cher. J'ai même acheté deux paires!!

I popped in today to get some new golf shoes. I grabbed some tees and other items. There were some really good sales. Employees are available and friendly. Problem was they had no baskets. A helpful employee put my items up at the cash while I continued to shop. When I checked out, 2 items didn't make it, so I was a little sad when I got home and realised I had no towel and no club cleaner. I should've noticed, true, but I still think they need a better system that puts all of the "held" items together. I'm happy with my purchases, and enjoyed my shopping here.

There is this condescending culture that exists. Not only does it make one feel inadequate when asking questions but it also feels like you're being hustled. Was there today. Not anxious to return. Don't shop at this location. Poor staff, I found them quite rude and unhelpful. Several pairs of pants were on a clearance rack that advertised at $69 or less. When the rang up at $89 the manager wouldn't honor the clearance price. Not many large chain stores have that attitude. He could have honored that price then removed the remaining pants from the rack. I had originally gone in to purchase a set of ladies clubs for my wife ... I won't be buying them there now.

Interesting to see a few 'great service' reviews. Was here on a Sunday, not busy at all, fewer customers than staff in the store. But no staff member takes interest in helping, instead they hang out together in the back right corner of the store and you have to walk over across the store to get someone to help (finding a travel cover) (box indeed did not include the color mentioned on the box). The checkout girl was busy fixing her hair and did not even look at me when I paid. Good customer service is different, maybe the manager should check in on his staff. Good selection of products though.

Can you recommend a store that sells golf equipment, especially for women? Because this store is not it. I have visited this store twice this season and I am quite confident that I will not be back for a third time ...ever. I was there in June with the intention of purchasing a set of clubs. I’m a beginner golfer who has golfed recreationally as a teenager and rented clubs. I’ve golfed in “fun” tournaments for fundraisers sporadically over several years while using either rental or borrowed clubs, and while never really knowing if I was a left or right handed golfer. I went to Golf Town because it supposedly had a great selection and was exclusively a golf shop. I was impressed when I first walked through the door and saw a sea of clubs, but then realized the womens’ selection was relegated to one corner of the store. As a newer golfer I did not want to spend $1000 + on a full set. I was budgeting about $600 though for a half set. I wandered around the womens’ section for a solid 30 minutes before anyone bothered to come and offer assistance. The employee was a young lad. I told him what I was looking for and that I was leaning towards left handed clubs, but would like to try them first to be sure. He said I could not try them because the simulator room was not available due to Covid. There was about three sets of clubs available for sale on the floor, but right handed. He went to the stock room and came back and told me they did not have any left handed clubs, but perhaps I could just settle for right handed. I was already put off by the fact the women’s clubs were primarily pink or pastel blue, and now I’m told to settle for clubs in right handed only, with no opportunity to try them. I did not really buy into the Covid excuse as people were handling clubs in the store and trying putters with no one following up and wiping anything down. I told the young man I would think about it and I walked around the store for a bit. I came back to the section again and another salesman came over to me to inquire if I needed assistance. I explained my situation and that I wasn’t 100% sure on whether I was more comfortable hitting left or right. This guy simply told me that I should figure that out and come back when I decided. I guess I did not appear to have enough money to spend in his eyes because he obviously did not want to make any effort to help me choose or give me any useful advice. I ultimately did get a nice set of beginner Callaway, left handed clubs, however they were purchased online from another golf vendor.... and yes, I am comfortable with my left handed clubs. I decided to give Golf Town another chance today. I went shopping for golf shoes. Once again I am in the store where I browsed my way through the clubs, the balls, the gloves, the accessory section, the women’s clothing and ultimately to the shoes. This was about 20-30 minutes - not a single interaction with an employee. I get to the shoes. The men’s section seems to be fairly well stocked, but the women’s section is quite pathetic. There was maybe five shoes that appeared to be my size. A couple of them sort of fit, but did not feel right, the others were a colour scheme that I wouldn’t be caught dead in. I even ventured into the men’s shoes, but didn’t find anything that fit properly. I was in the shoe section at least 20 - 25 minutes before an employee approached me. I told him I couldn’t find my size. I was informed it was nearing the end of the season. Sigh.... there seems to be plenty of stock for the men. Also..... this store does not shut down in the winter. This store does not cater to another sport during the “off season”h. There should be stock. I could have easily bought some balls, clothing, gloves and accessories today, but at this point with the “customer appreciation” I received, why would I want to spend my money here. Bye bye Golf Town.

Tim the fellow working the grip centre was phenomenal. Not only did he make fun of my clubs he actually asked me about my game and recommended a cheaper set than I wanted. He was honest, easy going and really helpful when it came to picking grips. Give this guy a medal, I just want to come back and hang out with him. Luckily you don't serve beer otherwise I would have stayed all afternoon. 10/10 will be back again.
