Excellent golf course, they seem to like par 4s. Still in the process of a fair bit of outdoor landscaping work. The club house itself is beautiful.

We were first disappointed a lot as we reserved the table at the restaurant and by arriving upon the time, the server mentioned that there are all full and it will take at least 35-45 minutes. After inquiring why is that since we booked the table and got the confirmation, she mentioned others will be honoured first and we have to wait for at least 35minutes. We left and as we were leaving, we found 2 empty tables. I called the restaurant, spoke to the manager and she said there was a miscommunication, it was only a few minutes wait which clearly we weren't told. Well, we were accommodated at the end, but overall it almost ruined our anniversary!

While the course is well groomed and facilities are nice the course is filled with blind shots. From many tees you cannot see the fairway because of tall reeds. Personally I like to see where I need to hit the ball and while there is a GPS with fly over it's not the same. Even the 8th hole, a par 3, you cannot see the green because of the reeds.

Somewhat challenging course, many golfers have trouble avoiding hitting the homes and vehicles along the fairways. The players should remember that the golfer is always responsible for any damage they do.

I work there as a dishwasher, there's a Italian restaurant and the meals there have been very wonderful. The restaurant opens on Tuesday, the golf course l don't know as of now.

Some of the food at the table was good. Service extremely slow. Wrong wine brought to table, cappuccino never brought. Dinner took 1-1/2 to get to table. Very poor experience.

Beautiful course. Marshall did not pair any of the 6 twosome in front or behind us. Made it stressful as we felt rushed - way too expensive a course to be mismanaged. Will not he back simply for that unless they reach out.

Course was challenging and greens were in good condition. On some forward tees the foliage obstructed your view of fairway which made it a little hard to follow flight of ball. Definitely will golf again. Restaurant was good but the wait time for our meal to be served was 1 1/2 hours, not sure we will eat there again.

Beautiful course with stunning views and world class dining. Even the most skilled golfer will have a tough time on this course, the challenging par 3 with the huge cliff over Georgian Bay will make any golfer curse. Fairways and greens are kept in superb condition. Highly recommended.

This is without question one of the most beautiful golf courses I’ve ever played on. It is my all time favourite. It’s beautifully maintained and incredibly scenic. Yes it’s challenging, but also fair (you might need more than one golf ball :-) The clubhouse is absolutely gorgeous and the service is top notch everywhere. I highly recommend this golf course. It’s an amazing experience and I can’t wait to get back and play it again!

Oak Bay recently hosted my wedding and made it a memorable night for all of our guests. I heard from multiple guests that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had and that the service was incredible. Special shout out to bartender Judith and the rest of her team for being awesome! The Oak Bay space is beautiful and the view from their wrap around patio can't be beat. Thank you again Oak Bay! You gave everyone a night they'll never forget. I'll be at the restaurant for regular dinning this summer for sure!

I will start by saying this course is beautiful and has some very nice holes. You will need to hit your shots on the par 3 on the green or they will be lost in the water or heavy bush. Challenging and fun course to play. We found everything well maintained except for the bunkers which were mostly unplayable if your ball went in there. The carts are equipped with a touch screen that displays yardage from your spot on each hole and can view flyovers before teeing off. Overall great experience but for a round of golf at this cost you would assume better sand even though I don’t plan on spending most of my day on the beach, 6th hole is outstanding so don’t leave your camera in the cart when walking to the tee. If you hit balls in the bush be prepared to lose them as there is warnings all over the course for poison ivy so be prepared.

I was really really impressed with the food at the restaurant. The pasta and calamari were super authentic yet interesting. Our server was lovely. The wine was perfectly chilled (which often isn't the case while dining up here). Well done, Oak Bay!

I'm not a golfer, but I love food, and they have a restaurant! The food there is VERY good, and has a modern, charming atmosphere and decor, with a fantastic view! The staff are good, and the prices are fair for the portions. Definitely a must try if you are stopping in the area!

Great dining experience! Beautiful view over the golf course, lovely greeting (they took time to say congratulations, after I had written in the reservation notes it was our honeymoon), and our server, who was new, was just wonderful. The food was excellent - shrimp pasta, steak, and arancini to start -everything was amazing, and so many great options to choose from. Highly recommend!

Second best I've played. Unbelievable course in great condition. Needs more staff. One mgr is doing everything, he needs help. New clubhouse is beautiful but staff were extremely cold. First time there from Orillia and it was like - who cares. We welcome out of towners at our club. Overall course and clubhouse outstanding, people were weak.

Very nice groomed and difficult corse but the staff are not friendly. Be ready to have your civil rights violated! Very rude at the pro shop and they do not accept legal Canadian currency.

Beautiful layout and friendly staff. Course is very challenging and lost balls are inevitable if you are still a 90/100 golfer. Irons may be better if you don't want to go through all your balls -give up some distance.

It took us 2.10 hours to get our food. It took 1 hour to get our drinks. We had to serve ourselves water from jugs we saw sitting in the bar after 30 minutes without service. We made a reservation for 16 people a week prior for Oct 11. I gave two stars because the food was decent and the server tried her best. My BIGGEST complaint was management. My husband and I approached the manager after being there for 1 hour and he did not apologize or attempt to help the server. If nothing else he could of greeted us, maybe explained the challenge, maybe got us some water or bread or told us the specials. We never saw him helping out the servers in the restaurant. When we spoke to him he was rude and only said “we are short two staff members”. Sadly many of our party have since stated they will never go back. They also watched the manager as we spoke to him and his facial expression conveyed it all to the rest of our group! He had a look of arrogance and resentment. Customer service will make or break a business. This guy is certainly not helping business at all! I felt badly because it was my idea to take so many guests there.

New clubhouse is beautiful and food is delicious! Went for lunch on Father's Day and we all enjoyed our meals, service was fast and fairly knowledgeable considering how new the menu was. I am not much of a golfer but have heard the course is fun but challenging! Nice to have somewhere to go close to home.

Starter was awful, totally argumentative and unhelpful. We had 2 groups with back to back times. Held us up 10 min by not giving half our group carts, saying we already had enough (we had 2 carts for 6 people?). Eventually, after arguing with us, he realized carts were still parked behind him. For the price there should be full customer service to ensure everyone has a good time, and gets off to a good start......especially because you'll need full concentration and good vibes to play well on this difficult course. Really disappointing. Clubhouse staff were awesome tho!

Can’t believe how nice this course is. Will be going back for sure. Very well kept and looked after. Great views of GBay as well. Would recommend going up to the restaurant after your round or even go for lunch or dinner. Great Pizza’s.

Excellent Place. The restaurant was busy and they did warn us that the food may take longer than usual which was alright. Had a great wine service from Alex. One of the best steaks ever....Juice and delicious. Definitely coming back....

Had a blast there today, very nice course. Pictures on their website and Google don't do it justice. Course was in good condition considering all the rain we've gotten over the past week. Staff was super friendly. Although I never got any food so I can't comment on that, beer tasted good. We got paired with a member and he was super nice and had some interesting stories. Only gripe I have is that it seemed like a significant amount of the bunkers all over the course were "ground under repair." Price was high enough to expect better in that regard.

Interesting course. Fairways and greens are good. Price is high. $200. for 2 with a cart and the sand traps are unplayable and they allowed a 5 some in front of us which made the round terribly slow. Waiting on every shot. Take lots of balls. Poison Ivy makes looking for balls in the rough impossible.

Very challenging course. Placement golf is a must or be prepared to lose a sleeve or two of balls. The par 3 hole across the bay to an elevated green with the cliff facing you is uniquely spectacular If I received a dollar for each golf ball in the drink, I’d be rich beyond my wildest dreams!! Club house and staff were extremely polite and the food was top shelf! This is a course that must be played for true golfers!!

We brought our family on Aug 25 we had a great experience. Tyler was our server and the specials were amazing. he was great , He Made everyone laugh. That’s the key ???????? I worked in the industry thirty years, we had the best service in a long time. he let us know the chefs were from Italy, it was like we were eating a direct line From Italy lol no kidding. We usually go to Italy every year. I would recommend this restaurant with 5 ⭐️ . some of the best food we ever eaten from a five 5 star restaurant , pizza is incredible. Thank you so much for that experience , nothing wrong at all, Better then everywhere we been in this area by a long shot. It Is up to par with Toronto’s best restaurants, very professional!! Great employees , best chefs ! Great Team , keep up the good work guys !!! Course is in great condition but is too narrow for most players. Shots that are missed by small margins are pushed farther off line , often into unplayable areas. 6th hole is great but once was enough for this course.
