Absolute garbage course they do not take care of it what so ever the price is 75 for a coarse barely worth 20 Kildonan was in better shape by far. Drinks prices 6 plus for a drink do not come here place is a absolute joke will never return EVER

I have not played this golf course, just stopped off to take a picture of all the geese that were gathering to fly south. The course looks beautiful and I will have to put it on my list of courses to play.

Pretty basic course, the placement of water hazards are not really challenging tbh. Bunkers were okay. Course maintenance is long overdue.

Facilities aren't great for the price. Marshall does a poor job managing speed - yelling at us to speed up when we are waiting for the people in front of us. Really lowers the enjoyment being yelled at. Unfortunately will not be back and don't recommend to others.

The first tee sets the tone for the round with the purple people eater pond to the left. Nice open layout and you finish the front 9 on the 10th so you basically get a free hole when you only play 9. Close and convenient but can get busy due to being within the city and a nice course!

Course layout is plain, but similar to other Winnipeg courses. It's a decent track though from a playability standpoint. Not too terribly challenging, but not easy. Pace of play was an issue when we visited. Unfortunately, the course is really beat up. There were tons of GUR sections roped off, and lots of fairway issues. Hitting a great shot in the fairway shouldn't be penalized by patch of dead grass or dry soil. If I were a member here, I would have been highly annoyed with the condition of the fairways. That said, it's been a tough year, weather-wise in Winnipeg. While I have seen courses on better condition, I've seen many in much worse. The greens weren't bad, so that was a plus. Overall, it's a decent play, but I'd try to avoid paying full price at the moment just based on current conditions.

Take the opportunity to give this little gem a try. You won't regret it and the food is absolutely amazing with reasonable prices and large portions. It's become a go-to breakfast place for me and my friends and the best part is there kitchen is open year round!!!

I joined Transcona as a new retiree. Since becoming a member I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and have been welcomed by the members with open arms. They want everyone who plays Transcona to have a great experience. The food, serving staff, management and the events for members are fantastic!

Very fast greens very poor fairways. Tons of sand water and don't play on a windy day as there isn't any trees to block the wind from messing with your ball.

Probably the most affordable Semi-Private Course in Winnipeg . Great golf course for all levels of play, with really smooth greens over the years! Really fun to host a tournament with! Clubhouse lacks a little in style but they make up for it with the quick and kind service and great food!

Greens are like concrete, nothing was sticking, super fast, fairways rough spots. Pace of play was pretty bad at the end, last 6 holes took 2 hours. Wasnt that enjoyable. Could be a real nice course. If you dont get a deal, spend your money elsewhere. I wrote this when i was having a really bad day. As you can tell its a challenging course and it will punish you. Some fairways are in need of some tlc. It is pretty pricey, but a good challenge.

A very long course to play from the white tees. High handicap golfers should play from the forward tees for a much more enjoyable golf experience. Although not posted winter rules should be used on the course.

I felt totally discriminated against. We reserved multiple T times over 4 days in advance. 4pm and 4:10pm. There were originally suppose to be 8 of us but it ended up being 6. We began to play and eventually caught up by the 4th hole. There were multiple teams playing with over 6 players. However our group was pulled aside and told to split up. We weren’t aloud to play together. We were playing best ball and were on a faster pace than anyone on the course. They threatened to take our car key away. We decided to not finish the course and leave. Will not return. I advice you consider how you align before deciding a course to play at.

First time golfing here. Course in poor condition. They book a 5-some walking ahead of us and round is taking forever and backing up big time. Totally against COVID rules as well. Will not be back. Plenty of other great courses in Winnipeg to go to.

July 2021 golf was horrible! This is the most or close to the most expensive course in Winnipeg which is a shame. You have to prepay 50% of the green fee if you want to register online. You would think for the cost, the course would be in decent shape. Half the course is dead grass and hard clay/mud. The parts that are not dead are under construction. My friends and I will NOT be golfing here again this year not any time soon.

Being a real dry spring you would think a golf course would be watering a lot. This course should be a desert course. The fairways were dry and had large cracks in the mud (grass dried up and dead) The greens were like putting on concrete they were so dry surprised grass was alive. Not worth the $41 green fee.

Unfriendly volunteer marshal. Even though I had teed off barefoot four times in the last two weeks, he came racing up like he was going to have a heart attack yelling me at me that I can't play. Even though the last week there were three men in tank tops and also group of five females I was stuck behind. You are the reason young people don't want to play anymore. Unfortunately, it is still a farm field with lots of dead patches. Spend your money elsewhere and read the professional golf magazines, barefoot golf is perfectly acceptable.

great golf course to play on. It has a nice layout with a few ponds and alot of green side bunkers. The club house had a great meal. Went during a bud, Spud and steak night. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was a great atmosphere in the club house.

A lot of winter kill on fairways, but greens as challenging as ever. Pace of play excellent until we got stuck behind an idiot on 13, who was 'teaching' his girlfriend how to golf and showed no interest in letting anyone pass. We lost 2 holes to get by-- or we would have still been there this morning.. Ahhh!!

I don't golf much, but in my opinion, it is a very nice course, and not very expensive, at only $27 for 9 holes not including cart. They were able to accommodate a tee time at 8:00 for the next day. Great experience, and I will be back.

It was a fine time that could have been better if it weren't for the marshall trying to speed our play when on the front nine we had to wait for at least 5 minutes per hole. Try to get things going on the front before you try to get us going on the back. Otherwise, the course is in lovely shape and we had a good time.
