Been here many times, the service in the pro-shop and the restaurant has always been great. This year (2017 June) the greens look like they've had some issues with the winter and a handful are in pretty rough shape. I would suggest going later in the season when they've had a chance to recuperate.

Course is about $10 over priced. Beer cart server didn't come around til after the 13th hole which was unacceptable for a very hot day. Nothing special for $75. Save the $10 and golf elsewhere.

We held our wedding at Bel Acres a few weeks ago. We were promised many things that they did not deliver on. We do not feel that we were given the level of service that was promised or that was paid for. The staff at bel acres is NOT willing to work with us to ensure we are happy or even pleased. Please, do not have your wedding here unless your wedding wish is to be disappointed. This is just a hint at what went wrong on our wedding day because of Bel Acres and their staff. If this is how my wedding went, I can’t imagine which requests and wishes of others they won’t deem worthy of fulfilling after the making of promises.... We began planning with them in February. The clubhouse was going through a large winter renovation but the event planner Camalee helped us to see their vision and we had faith in her and what the end result would be. Everything at first seemed perfect, they dealt with and provided almost every vender and service at a surprisingly decent cost for a wedding. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful. Slowly over the months due to Covid-19 many things were changed, they removed services while the price remained largely the same. They were not very helpful at easing our stress during this time, only adding to it. With only a week left until the wedding they forced us to cut half of our guests when the province was still allowing more than we had asked for. They claimed it was due to the fact that they felt the space wasn’t large enough to social distance in with that number of people. When we got there on our wedding day, there was so much space we could’ve fit at least 75 people distanced. If not the full government mandated 100! We understand that Covid is not Bel Acres fault and some of the changes they made had to happen. But they did not deal with them or telling us about them well. They also made their own changes and rules that did not make sense. We were rushed through our wedding rehearsal and a waitress spilt a drink on a bridesmaid with no apology. The bar did not know what an old fashioned or vermouth was. Never mind being able to make it. On the day of the wedding we had many issues but we lived through them with the intention of discussing them with the event planner within the next days only to learn she had been let go after the wedding. We cannot help but wonder if that could be because she performed so poorly while planning our wedding. We were not given food we were promised, food and drinks were often very late causing other things to be late including the ceremony. Servers for drinks were almost unseen during the day. Guests had to go to the bar themselves to get drinks which we were told ahead of time would not be allowed. The servers were all chatting around the bar instead of being out serving our guests. As the bride, I was offered a drink once in 5 hours. There was other events going on in a building we had been told would be private and reserved only for us. We specifically requested sparkling wine for the whole day and the employees told us they were specifically told not to bring any in. The rooms they had the wedding party get ready and wait in before the ceremony were crowded and full of renovation supplies. They stunk like the sewer. After the wedding we were told there was a second location we could’ve been waiting in that would hopefully not of smelt but we’re not offered a choice between them before hand. We brought a few items for the wedding to the rehearsal and asked our planner what she thought we should do with them at the time and she told us she could take them and hold them in our office until the next day when she would do the necessary things with them. One of them was the pen we had specifically for signing our marriage license. During the ceremony we noticed the pen was not there and we were very anxious as to someone in the crowd needing to have a pen. Thankfully someone did however that is not a smooth situation.

Great place to golf. Pace is usually very good 3 - 3.5 hr rounds is quite common. Friendly staff , good food, and a newly renovated clubhouse.

A very ordinary golf course. The back nine isn't too bad but the over all course is well below par. The greens were OK but very slow. The tees are so bad they defy discrimination. Hardly a level spot on any of them. Lots of good courses in Manitoba, this isn't one of them!

Where do I even begin to describe the amazing and absolutely mind-blowing experience we had. Taryn and her stuff were so easy to work with, they were helpful and caring. They looked after all of our needs, responded to all and every question, want and whim of the bride (and groom). They never said no to anything, it was always, let’s see what we can do. Always smiling, always responsive, always friendly. They were with us throughout the entire process, helping, suggesting, and even helping with things that were not their responsibility. The entire venue was beautiful, they worked with our schedule, including when we had to decorate the rooms and stayed extra time when needed. After the wedding was over they collected all of our items for us and placed them carefully in the corner for pick up the next day. Also, they were the ones to put up all the linens and bows and what not, it was just amazing, I am could not be happier to work with them. P.S. We also had specialized desserts for my hubby and I and they were amazing. Thank you Bel Acres and it’s staff!

Great experience every week. Love the golf course, the staff and the food. If you like burgers then you HAVE to head out here for the BEST BURGER in Winnipeg. I have tried the 2017 Le Burger Week champ and Bel Acres Happy Grillmore burger pounds it into the dirt. This would be an award winning burger. IT IS THAT GOOD. Get it with yam fries. They are great too

Great golf course. Needs better sand trap maintenance though. Some only had 3/4 " of sand! Check sand depth before you swing.

Fairways are goat paths and two holes have large trees in front of the greens. You have to see it to believe it!

The course was in decent shape, the staff were extremely courteous, but the Marshall could have done a better job letting the faster players play through. Still recommend checking Bel Acres out!!

Greens and fairways were in pretty good shape. Not a lot of water or sand, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you're looking for those challenges, you'll be hard pressed to find them here. The clubhouse is great and the locker room is fantastic.

Nice course. Played for the first time today and it took over 4.5 hours to play 18 in my pair of 2. For a Sunday twilight you wouldn't expect that but there was absolutley no pace of play, not to mention nobody enforcing it. Course is in great shape other than tee boxes.

Booking online was terrible, as everyone in the group is required to create a profile. The price it showed for the booking seemed cheap, bit when arriving at course they told us there was a malfunction and endex up getting charged more than twice as much. They would not honour the pricing. Tee off was at 3:58, we were told the beverage cart was out. Did not see it once. After 9 holes we stopped to get some beverages at the clubhouse, and they told us the beverage cart was done at 4:00, would have been nice to know at the start. Pace on the front 9 was slow, but acceptable. On the 10th tee they added a group of 4 walking right in front of us. It ended up taking almost 3 hours to play the back nine. 5 hours for the whole round. Greens were in great shape for early season, the rest of the course was as expected for early season golf.

Our observations!! The food was great. The course was reasonably good shape. Disappointing that we were paired up with another couple when they were told the course was packed so they couldn’t go out as a couple but had to be a 4 some (we don’t have a problem with that) however we followed a 2 some. We let numerous single players play through. It would have been way quicker to play as 2 groups of 2 due to how the other groups were. Also the garbage at each tee box smelled terrible as the cans had not been picked up in a number of days. Wasps were terrible. Washrooms had a date last cleaned 6 days prior to the date we were there.

Course is in rough shape this season. For the price you pay on a weekend it is really disappointing. Pace of play was so slow, 3 groups waiting to tee off on one hole. Greens however were nice and the cart girl was around quite often.

This is a nice course with decent facilities. After all this rain it is very green and the greens are in good shape. It is not the most difficult course but is still challenging for beginners and advanced golfers. The restaurant and patio are nice and the facilities are kept clean and in good order. Being gluten free there was not really any options for me to eat but this is expected. I have no complaints about this course and will be returning. The remoteness of this course gets you just outside the city so you don't here the traffic on the perimeter while you are playing which is a nice relaxing atmosphere.

i have golfed this course many times. there is not a single bench on this course. i was not able to sit down for the entire game. every other course has benches even in this year of covid. At $48 the course is priced as a premium course but is nothing special. it is usually very windy being on the prairie, and was very dry. the fairways are ok, but the rough is variable. large areas of dead grass and mud.
