This course was in great shape. Greens were beautiful. Fairways are narrow and the greens are of small size. Accuracy needed to score well. Enjoyed my round. Will be back

The price was not the same from one day to the other because there was more people at the facilities. The spa area was not clean and for the price we paid we didn’t appreciate the service and cleanest of the room also. Will not return and will not promote for sure

Very nice hotel. Clean , nice room . Good view of the mount Orford . Personnel is nice. I recommend.

Beautiful Area, rooms are spacious, executive suite was nice, washroom and rooms are dated. Staff are kind and helpful, I would consider going again if the rate is right.

Denise Winford

We had a beautiful lake view. The room was spacious. The staff were lovely. There were two pools, multiple hot tubs and boats/SUP's to use. We had a great time.

originally it was booked for 4 people, when I was changing my reservation, I have advised the agent that it's possible it be 2 of us and I was told that price will be adjusted accordingly. What a surprise I got when I had to pay for 4 people in the room instead of 2!

What a nice surprise to have booked a standard queen room and be upgraded to a king suite! The room was very spacious and clean with an absolutely beautiful view from the balcony. The mattress and pillows were comfortable (not too soft, not too hard) and every staff member that we dealt with was friendly and accommodating. The spa was great as well! We had been looking around at a few spa hotels and were able to stay here for two nights for almost the same price as one night elsewhere so very good value for what you get!

Quiet and ideal place to spend time with the family, away from the noise of the city! a private lake where you can do water sports like kayaking and paddle boarding! pet friendly! the food in the restaurant is tasty and at a good price!

Mario Perdomo

Our experience was great! Our room was way bigger than what we expected. Great value for what we paid.

GREAT: Great location with a private lake with tiny beach and watersports equipment. It is next to a golf course that looks nice but we do not play golf so of no value to us. It is also a 5 minute drive to dowtown Magog or to Orford National Park. Personel was eager and willing to please. OK: The restaurant was good. No more. Two of the wines we ordered were not available. BAD: The hotel itself is old and in dire need of renovations. Our room was late 1990's deco with a bathroom that was in bad condition. The furniture was full of scratches. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. The bath was a very old, low model that did not empty properly (10 min) and there were hair in the drain. The toilet did not flush properly. And two out of three of the vanity lights were burned. We have travelled the world and this place is all in all totally NOT WORTH THE $250-$260 a night (week night rate). We would have paid $75-$100 max for this.

The location is Great code to Orford for easy hiking it skiing. I there hotel is a little dated and in need of better cleaning staff but the reception staff is friendly. Rooms are adequate but the carpet needed vacuuming. Window screen is very dirty and so was the air conditioning. We didn't try the restaurants. We ordered pizza from the place in the gas station close by and had it on the picnic tables provided by the hotel on the lake. The water activities were only provided starting at 10am which really wasn't convenient for the morning kayaking we wanted to do.

Rooms was very dirty. One star hotel in a 4 star location... Deceived

Vraiment une belle place. Everything on the beach was included and for hiking, its a dream. Many trails and discovery for the kids ( chemin des cerisiers). I recommend for all.

Brandon Bailey

Really well maintained course with a very friendly staff. I like how the tee times are set apart, there was no rush and I felt really relaxed in the course. The views are breathtaking. Definitely not a course for beginners (they used to have a par 3 course though) definitely a fun spot to play and you'll get your money's worth.

Karen Guillette

Warm and welcoming staff. Beautiful and charming room, very spacious and clean. Wonderful weekend getaway.

Good fireplace, overall concept, and good staff. Removed two stars because (a) heating was an issue and inconsistent during the night; (b) bathroom had not been fully cleaned (I.e. bathtub). In some respects, the facility shows its age. The kitchen sink in the room is one example, shower curtains…. But, overall, a decent place to stop.

Customer service was non-existent at this property, when we checked in we were advised that the restaurant was closed and they were unsure if they would be opening this week, the purpose of our stay at this resort was to golf, when we tried to book a tee time on check in we were advised that they were going to be aerating the greens , on a second attempt to book a tee time they were completely booked with regular members so we booked our golf at other resorts. The rooms were not worth the price, it's been a number of years since i have a booked a room without a clock µwave and a bar chair in the sitting area. The restaurant opened for breakfast on the Tuesday morning i tried to order poached eggs and was told they could not do them.My wife tried to make a reservation for dinner on the Tuesday evening and was told there was nothing available as they were fully booked with a group that was staying at the resort.

We, like some of the recent reviews were pretty disappointed with the quality of this hotel. Dated and not well maintained. Definitely much lower than the stated 4-star. We checked into a room that was improperly cleaned, lacked enough towels & soap, had a stinky shower curtain and we also found a used mask in a corner. We quickly addressed most of the issues with the front desk but it seemed to be treated like a normal occurrence. The only good thing about the hotel is its location and some amenities. However, overall I don’t think we will return to this hotel. For the price, it’s not recommended.

Stay far away. Mold in the bathroom. Sink barely works, toilet won't flush fully, tub won't drain. The bed looks like there's dead mice in it. The room is so dark and the lights barely work. Hallway is falling apart, elevator is untrustworthy. Do not spend any money here, they won't put it to good use. Edit: dinner/restaurant is so over priced its actually laughable. 14$ for a lobster ravioli....45 cents of lobster, some shaved greens and a slice of cheese. Seriously how the hell do you justify that. Don't bother with the bread, it's so hard it's practically a decorative item. EDIT: THE HOTEL STAFF ARE INCOMPETENT AND EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE. CAREFUL YOU DON'T HURT THEIR FEELINGS

How to say... Huge hotel with many people, access to the lake for very sporty people, wooden stairs of different size, where you have to walk all around the hotel to get there. Plastic chairs on the beach, couple of kayaks, 2 SUPs-definitely not enough for all. No beach/pool towels provided. The room not cleaned, stayed there for 2 nights. The bathroom walls not clean, clogged drain... Asked them to give me the room giving to the lake and not on the outdoors pool. Got the room just over the pool, they did not want to change. The air conditioner is very loud, also loud with the open window. I could go on... 3 stars for the Mont Orford and the fluffy towels. Very disappointing

A surprise 200.00 deposit when we got to the reception was unpleasant. When we asked them why this was not mentionned when we booked, the reception desk person told us, oh no, we don't mention that until people get here. One got the impression the place was owned and managed by very money grabbing people who should not be in the service industry. The bed was not a 4 star bed, it was a hard, cheap bed. Very disappointing. I had to get and push the luggage trolley up to my room and bring it back, fighting the awkward door situation at the front. Felt like I was a hotel employee instead of a guest at a four star hotel. The free use of boats and kayaks is a good idea. Room was very clean. Front desk staff very accommodating and helpful as well as the restaurant host. Overall, a 1 and a half star experience for the price of a four star room.

Nice rooms, cleaning can be done better. The breakfast with extremely limited options. The restaurant personnel very professional. No recharge point for electric cars. (it is only one close by, level 2)

Simon Laliberte

Great hotel, cleaning is good, beds and pillows are comfortable, great deep pool with long chairs.it could have been cleaner, there was a bit of black moisture on the bathroom ceiling. Only 2 towels for 4 people but we ordered 2 more and it came fast. Good experience, we enjoyed !!

John Roberts

Spa, pools and beach are amazing. Real nice place! BTW all the water activities like paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and peddle boats are free.

Stay away from this hotel!!! Disgusting lobby, dirt everywhere on the floor. Bedroom: As for the bedroom ouffff…. First of all, don’t keep your belongings in the room, the patio doors don’t lock properly. Put gloves on before pulling the curtains since they’re so filthy. As for the bed, it’s uncomfortable and old. Looks like it’s gonna break each time you move. The bedding was also dirty and stained from what appears to be dirty shoes. There is also a nightstand missing on one of the side of the bed. Bathroom was so dirty from the previous customer, cleaning lady had to come back since there was a bunch of hair all over the place: on the floor, in the sink, in the bath. The hairdryer stop functioning after less than a minute of use. As per the desk lady I was “lucky” they had and extra one that I could borrow. The toilet wasnt cleaned properly. Bath: curtains smell humidity and looks old and dirty (did I mentioned the hair also?!?!). The facecloth was stained with blue spots. I’m so disappointed and disgusted by the room, the only thing that could get worst is discovering bedbugs. I don’t know how this hotel can presume to be a 4* it’s so not the case, it’s at best a 2*. While you still can, book elsewhere!!!!

Beautiful spot... Good structure, with a great golf club related. I was there for work, unfortunately the room wasn t at the same level... Dusty, they didn t clean it not even the next day.... Too bad cause given the price i was expecting something different.... Also.... They preview the food kiosk after 22... Which 8s amazing..... But they have no utensils ????‍♂️...

The suite was clean and not overly ornate which I prefer. The view was spectacular and the buffet breakfast and dinner at restaurant was good. The only issue with the room was the air conditioner. Didn't work well. Luckily it was very cool at night and slept with the patio screen and it kept the room comfortable. The spa was the greatest experience. I've been to many others. I loved all the treatments I received. The people are very friendly, kind and you can tell they love what they do. They go out of their way to make sure your comfortable and the experience pleasant.

Chris Chandler

Lovely place, setting in and amongst the lake and surrounding hills makes for a restful experience.

Richard Laberge

Room ok, recycling bin was full of bottles and cans, nice hôtel, great grounds, friendly staff, good Sunday buffet

Avoid at all costs. Facilities and decor are as bad as all negative comments have mentioned. Asked at reception to have room cleaned three days in a row as am here on a long stay with work and am having to cook all meals in room or eat out.Advised on all three days there was blood on my duvet and yet bed linen has STILL not been changed, towels changed or rubbish cleared.Asked to speak to a manager and was told no manager working. Here is the template that is going to be used to reply to this comment "Hello, We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. What you describe does not represent our standards of cleanliness. Your feedback was sent to our owners and our management team to follow up the situations you mention. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us." Have every faith in the fact my comments won't be passed anywhere and will still have a dirty room and no clean towels this time tomorrow.
