Here you will be able to see the information of real people like you who use the products and services of Fanshawe College (Golf) in the territory close to London (Canada).
Now the firm gets a score of 3.9 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an opinions average is high, and it is founded on a very large number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the score is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf belongs to the category of College.
Excellent College! Graduated from the GIS & Urban Planning program with a co-op endorsed diploma back in 2018. To be successful for the rest of your life and program, do the following: treat your program like a real job by coming to class every day, apply to every job openings on the College's Job Board posted by your co-op/career consultant, do not limit yourself just to one place when it comes to jobs, ask questions to teachers when unsure on an assignment, keep a clean profile picture of yourself on every social media network/email accounts, do not leave things at the last minute by procrastinating and other foolish excuses, and spend less time partying when there's homework to do. Remember to "Work hard, play later!"
IT program is very outdated, also make sure your program is streamed. The combined two parts that should have been separated
Teachers should be trained better to accommodate students online.
International department is so discuss even they do partiality for new students my friend got the addmission in the same course that i have applied even we have same qualification. Moreover, i have applied before him then after i haven't got offer later while my friend got offer later. Because of this partiality students have to face many serious problem in their life. They don't care about students. Even they are not replying mail or call. They are playing with students future which is in tolerance.
Amazing
Awesome college. They give importance to both academics and other co-curricular activities. Friendly staff and students. The best atmosphere.
Good on the Covid protocall
A very cheating management and officers. They've robbed my money and have said that this is as per their rules !
This college treat international students as CASH COW. Level of teaching is good in only those course in which Canadian students are enrolled other courses are just to take money from you. I would request you don't take admission in this college in a course which is only for international students and please make sure your course is in main campus not any other campuses. They never support international students in any case and the most irritating thing is the international centre of this college is dumb. I will recommend other colleges like Lambton, Conestoga or any other are way better than this college. I regret that I trust this college and it's facility.
Am willing to go this college for integrated course and I hope I can survive with good job after graduation....
Anybody for May intake 2021 business management!?
My Alma Mater!!!!I just love Fanshawe College!!!!One of the best colleges in Canada with best placements record!!!!Thank You Fanshawe College for my one of the best college life memories!!!!
Terrible college I'd rate 0 stars if I could
Very Good college. Heard a lot about this college from my Indian friends. And really interested to study PG Dip or MS in Civil Engineering dept. Haaaahhh but don't know a single thing how to start up for my further process of admission.
bad bad bad bad
Easy
Better stay away from this chaotic area.
The lockdown Browser system is so easy to cheat. I bought this online product that changes the video input and sound. I will not comply to this imperialistic spyware! TEST IN PEACE!
They do not support international student to take the Visa, They hold the money in their account for more than 4 month and every time you send a reminder ''they reply that it takes up to 90 days'' Not good for international students, all my friends could not get visas.
I do not recommend going to college just to learn English, Word War history, etc. I do not need a degree from Fanshawe College, and they did not give some of my money back since I have dropped off the course there. Glad I do not go to college. I failed and they took my money.
Very dissatisfied with the admission process for Nigeria students, why must they use agents for something they can clearly do on their own and online? This policy simply doesn't make sense, only if the agents are giving the school a percent of the ridiculous amount they charge these students. Even on the outside, I can sense the level of discrimination these students are facing and the 'i don't care' attitude the so called International department workers have. Won't recommend this school only if it's your last option.
why there are so many bad reviews about fanshawe college and around area such like foundry building cross the street? It is weird that the college didn't reply or address any of those either. They just kinda let it be like that. I might dont have a chance yet to meet all of students and teachers or staffs or professors to see if it is true. I guess I have seen some of same-age students and some of them are nice and polite, but some of them are not so nice and rude. Everyone seems need to be more educated.
Great college
This school is great for someone that wants to gain more technical and hands on knowledge/skills for the most part.
It is the biggest college in London , Toronto
I took the Computer programmer analyst course from 1999 to 2002. Most of the instructors were great. The best were Garth Santor, Mike Clarkson, and Even Larson. Even 18 years later Dr Dindoff still answers some of my career questions. It gave me a great foundation for my career. Onsite labs were great. Place was always fairly clean.
I switched to a different school and they didn't refund the tuition fee $15,800 even though I went through all the refund session they requested in person. They talked to me, agreed to all the documents and reasons I provided then kept …
It's a great place to pursue one's dreams!!
Loved it
Loved it !
You got to be very careful when dealing with Fanshawe college, my wife had terrible experience especially when it comes to refund. First of all, they take their time responding to critical inquiries and this led to her losing deadlines. The refund process takes ages, so far nearly 6months, not to mention the hefty deductions though it was not her fault, and it is designed so you eventually do not receive any money back. They use a notorious company called flywire who are basically a bunch of amateurs who deals robotically and not bothered service nor common sense
I'm sure Fanshawe is a great place. But I'd like to talk about a bad experience I had with St Clair College, just for anyone who is considering going there. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at an institution. I paid for a course by mailing a cheque, which their registrars office confirmed they got through a voicemail which I have as recorded proof. Further more, I was told that I would't be allowed to take the course if I didn't pay. I took the course after their registrars office (Lisa) told me they got the cheque and enrolled me in their program. After I took the course, I was told that I "had an outstanding balance for the amount of the course." I contacted the registrars office employee who confirmed they had my cheque. She would no longer take direct responsibility for it and wouldn't confirm that they told me they had the cheque. I was then told by someone in the same office named Tammy that I needed to come to the school and pay again (even though they lost a cheque that they originally confirmed they had and wouldn't even take responsibility for losing it.) Keep in mind this cheque has all my personal banking information on it. They expected me to waste more of my time, when they were the ones that made a HUGE error and couldn't even take responsibility for it.
I emailed the admission office twice but they never answered. As an international student i have many questions to ask, but unfortunately couldn’t find answers from them.
I done my studies in this college and I am really missing it. I definitely recommend this college for studies because all professors are really nice and comfortable.
One of the best college ! 100% student focused. Everything including administration, faculty, etc is perfect. P.S. Just ignore all the bad reviews. .....
Radio Broadcasting program was great. However, since I’ve graduated I’ve received so many calls looking to get my views on the program. I declined and the woman got upset on the phone telling me I was selected and I have to answer. I hung up, blocked their number and they still keep calling me and leaving empty messages on my voicemail. Overall college experience: 4/5 Post-grad experience with college: 1/5
A Decent college to study at.
For international students it's really the worst college. I mean just look at some of the "reviews" (aka racist comments) here by some people like Sparka J and Boss Life. Yup these are some of the type of deluded, racist white trash scum you'll be dealing on a daily basis. Although randomly you will encounter some nice people, majority of the staff in this college don't care. I know because I was there for a few years. And even though you pay twice the fees than some of these racist cretins, they'll accuse you of studying for free and god knows what not (just look at some of the comments in the review section here about international students). Plus the staff is really rude to international students. If you guys don't want international students at your school then just close the applications for them instead of inviting them over in the white trash town of London and making their life miserable. What a shame! Beyond disgusting.
Very incompetent staff at the Finance aid office. With the exception of Belinda. The rest do racial judgement about who to help plus they are racially rude.
Wonderful place to learn.
The police Foundations program is full of pot and alchohol users. They are mostly white men, rude making racist comments waiting to get their guns. This is a problem. What is more disturbing is that the instructors think it's funny?! Not happy and taking my son out of this program. Also, he is mixed race...the students are rude and racist to him .. Future police , no thank you!
Posting for the staff at the Health Centre, Fowler clinic. They're awesome and extremely helpful and understanding of injuries and help to make it better. Thank you
Its awesome
Anyone for September 2021 intake.?.?.?
low student experience
Worst faculty service I have ever seen. Everyone there is very unprofessional and unethical about their work.
Love this school so far
Edit: After the initial issue staff was very helpful to address what needed to happen, ultimately the school made the right call and cleared the account of any charges. Very glad the misunderstanding could be taken care of. Original concern: My Girlfriend put a deposit to this school to hold a seat, was unable to attend due to student loans falling through. During a call about registration she attempted to cancel the semester at school, they told her she would not need to make any further steps to do so. Which apparently was incorrect, and they are now attempting to charge her for a school year she not only didn't attend but didn't remotely sign up for in any shape or form. So far the school representatives have had a very tough luck attitude despite the error being from their employees. She was told she could make an appeal, so hopefully something good can come of that.
It’s bad. There are good teachers but mostly terrible, irresponsible teachers. Those teachers DONT HAVE CLASS AT ALL when it’s an online class. The school should do something. I emailed a manager or something and he told me to “get my voice bigger”. I’m here to study not to train the teacher how to teach.
Best experience. The security is really active.
Adult learning is amazing
Beautiful campus
Well lot of negative reviews but I'd say fanshawe professors are great, kind, helpful and funny except some ????. However, success depends on oneself. So, stop blaming others and try to figure out to work hard. One policy the college should implement though is "Silence" in library. People are always chatting in library???? .Go to the cafe for christ sake, some of us need to study. In a nutshot, friendly and helpful staff.???? Come here
I have an incredible experience with Fanshawe college and really great full for becoming on of the family members. it's very much appreciated their curriculum and the effort put up with very qualified and professional teachers. The college is well organized and the multi-culture will definitely help you to boost your career. The campus and other facilities that make students felt that they are at their other home. Really love this campus
Becouse my brother was studying their
I believe the Administration at Fanshawe is useless. I got a few parking tickets 3 years ago when I attended the college. Rightly so, I should of paid them. But they also told me I wouldn't be receiving my diploma if they weren't paid off. SO I received my diploma and thought nothing of the tickets. THREE years later I get a collection notice for $160 in tickets. They didn't send any other letters informing me of this outstanding balance, rather just send it straight to collection. When I called Fanshawe they were useless, and rude. They charge you for everything, the teachers in my program were all nice for the most part, but they told you you HAD to buy all the books which is$ 400-500 per semester. And we didn't use a single book. Money Grab. It is a shame because I believe it could be a more pleasant/memorable experience.
Let see
Good school. Accessible.
Well, you’ll see.
Great campus and facilities
Buildings and the campus in general looks pretty new with big parking spaces and easy access to all buildings nearby
i turn 34, and i am diploma holder in Automobile Engg, having 10 years of working experience. I would like to take any course related to my experience/qualification. What i need to know is, is it possible to get enroll in your college, for me?
It's a business, not a school.
anyone who applied in international business management for sept intake 2021 dm me bobby_hasija
Awesome education and professors sadly clouded by International center which ( except few people), is a waste of time. A simple request like asking for a letter could turn out to be a tedious and humiliating experience in which you should be prepared that the person you are looking forward to help you would walk out even before you completed your sentence.
First Year and it's not going well as hoped. Most of the students can't seem to mind their own business. Everyone is so PC that it's impossible to interact with anyone comfortably or make pals. And in terms of the strike aftermath, I wouldn't think they would take the February study week off knowing they took one week off of Christmas break. However, they took out a lot of free time out after the strike and that's not gonna be at all healthy for me to stay in track. I'm already exhausted as it is from over amounts of homework, tests, assignments, labs, etc and can't seem to have time for myself. I would of thought colleges encourage a healthy well-being for students. I see none of that here. I don't think they care if your struggling or having anxiety attacks every once in a while. Disappointed.
This college has one of the worst administrative department.
Lunched at Saffron's Restaurant with my Husband celebrating another Anniversary !58 years ! The last 20 we have done Dinner ! The food Staff and presentation was warm personal From appetizers to Dessert the staff was attentive to our needs ! A most enjoyable experience ! Thank you so much for adding to our Day !!!!!
worst school ever. They are racist and make you feel unimportant. If you are planning on going to this school don't its a waste of time and money, especially if you're going into pre health .
Very nice people there.
i have been trying to register for a few courses and for obtaining a diploma or certification from this college , this college is definitely out of my list. the coordinator for the Educational Assistant program did not get back to me at all. the EA program coordinator and and the rest of the staff from whom i asked helped from were doing just politics, I was being passed around over and over . I agree with the people who wrote the comment that bunch of clowns are working there..so true.
Great campus
Graduated from Norton Wolf Aviation school ( London Airport) Most memorable times of my life???? Every professor in Aviation school is Industrial Experienced, polite and friendly staff. I love to study there ????
Staff seems very well trained to "take your money". Been a student here for 4 years and my experience aside from education has been horrible. I am one whom withdrew from the strike, and the first day back I had an in-class test worth 10% of our final grade. Awesome!!!
Main Campus is just awesome. I had a wonderful year in Fanshawe. I saw some of the students mentioning about issues for international students, I haven't heard anything like that from any of my friends.
(Translated) How is it? (Original) 어떤가요?
Don't go to Fanshawe it's a bad school.
Never coming back here again, instructors and staff are rude and incompetent, college is unorganized beyond belief. Textbooks are overpriced and completely useless. I had plans to extend and branch out to other fields which would require an additional 4 years at this college, lmao no thanks. I also find it quite humorous how the instructors refer to themselves as professors. Youtube does a better job teaching me than this college every will. What a waste of money and time.
WHERE'S BIG BEN
Great
nice
Keep giving assignments and assignments without a proper teach
The stuff of an ESL teacher called Marry, she is very racist and impolite to Asian students. She is one of the worst teachers I have ever met. It just wanted your money. If you make a complaint, she would mark you a very low score for your exam. I was suffered from his nasty but feel hopeless. If I give 0 for this college, I would.
Would give it 5 but there's no McDonalds
So many people have similar experience in this school. But my question is how did this place get the status of 'designated learning institution ' ? Is there any corruption in the evaluation process? Does it really meet all the requirements to become a DLI ? Now share my experience, I know things aren't quite right when one of my online teacher missing almost one third of her lecture time often without any reasons. And the international student center just won't give me the completion letter after I finished no matter how many times I asked them. I finally got the letter 3 days after I sent an email to their official email. But my status is already illeagal. All thanks to international office, a call center with flags hanging on their ceilings, YOU HAD ONE JOB !
It was not too bad would like to see more options for online study and possible correspondence studies correspondence study
Best college in Canada....no doubt about it.. amazing.
We Deliver Meds for the Pharmacy.
Really good
I think this college should be better for me
I don't get it why the college feels the need to segregate international students from Canadian students. Yes the two segments have different sections and professors.
Fanshawe was a good experience while I was actually a student but has refused to provide me with my certificate upon completion. I know that covid disrupted everything but refusing to give me what I earned when I need it for employment is deplorable
Excellent institution of academic learning and training
I do not recommend this college to anyone. I just graduated back in June and the college failed to acknowledge that I graduated with Presidents Honours. I worked really hard to graduate with a 4.15 GPA but the school does not care about their students. I was humiliated on one of the most important days of my life. My professors, peers, AND family thought I was lying about receiving honour roll every semester. The night got worse once they handed me my diploma...I saw that it wasn't the right diploma. I addressed this issue to my program coordinator and she told me to talk to the graduation coordinator via email. The graduation coordinator's responses were short, rude and useless. It took me THREE months to get the correct credentials. They forgot to send out the revised diploma multiple times, lied to me saying that it was sent out, they wont pay for my long distance charges over the phone when I called to get a follow up on if it was sent out or not (I live outside of London), most of my emails were ignored, and there were no consequences to the graduation coordinator. Fanshawe College made me feel devalued as a student. I lost out in several job opportunities to reputable companies because I couldn't provide my proof of diploma. 4 months later and the Associate Registrar has finally decided to reach out to me and apologize, after ignoring my email that I sent back in August. If I can give a 0 start rating, I totally would.
Love this place ????❤
Heavy infrastructure and facilities
Great college! I attended the main campus for one year and then transferred to the downtown core. My time here was amazing. The fact that there's stores, restaurants, convenient stores and even a bar on campus is is amazing! They have everything you could possibly need. I used this place as a gym, my go-to medical facility and meet-up place. My course experience here was also pleasant.
Fanshawe is only in it for the money. Do yourself a huge favor and apply else where. Course information is incomplete, and contains out of service phone numbers. When you finally reach someone to discuss they'll blame you for there issues. …
Horrible service. They are so unorganized with the applications. I applied back in October, and there was some issue with my application, and no one bothered to tell me until the program filled up. I am absolutely upset because while on the …
Friendly environment
Great place ????????
I like to come to fanshawe collage. I want to study After graduate program of practical elements of Mechanical engineering. I hope it will be very good experience. I want know how can I find a descent part time job as a maths teacher? In campus or off campus.
They care for student's every requirements and facilities and really impressive support to students
A great place to study. Happy to be here.
The administration staff are rude. Financial assistance staff are rude. The accessibility office staff are rude. I think these people have had their comfortable jobs for so long that they don't care about the students. They clearly don't care how they treat people, as if they couldn't get fired. I'm going there now. We'll see how it goes. I'll post the names of individual staff that are problematic as the year goes on. The people that post good reviews can't seem to give details. Suspicious. After I graduated, I was invited to Switzerland for a week to attend the IMI Ambassador Program. Tricia Tankovic sent me the notification late, so I could not attend. Here's an email that I sent to Tricia which has never received a response. The details contained in the email are indicative of how the college functions. "Unfortunately, because of receiving this notification only 10 days before the event in Switzerland, I will not be able to attend on such short notice. I see that the letter from IMI was dated April 28th, the letter from Fanshawe was dated May 5th, and I received the email with both the notice of my acceptance and the immigration letters on May 10th. Is 10 days what you would consider adequate time to apply for a VISA to the Swiss embassy and get an approval from work to take a week's absence?" UPDATE: This college is low caliber. The baking and pastry program that I took turned out to be unrecognized by the apprenticeship board. If you want a trade certificate, you have to go back to college AGAIN at a recognized college like Niagara or George Brown. I did find a great Fanshawe hoodie. The front and back pictures of the sweater are posted.
quality instructors. keep it up
Well structured and excellent
It was really great to attend Fanshawe College in 2002-2004. To this day we see the expansion of the College and it's great to know the community of London, Ontario has such a great school!
After reading student's reviews and complaints; and also seeing the frequency of response from college authorities; I just crossed this college off my list. Thanks guys.
This is my 2nd review of Fanshawe college as I'm doing my 2nd program here. I gave 2 stars to Fanshawe based on the experience I had with my 1st program and also reviewed all the things related to college and London in detail. Currently, I'm studying Supply Chain Management- Logistics and my rating and review is based on it. It is sad that my rating hasn't changed even for my 2nd program (I gave Fanshawe 2 stars for PEM- Practical Elements of Mechanical Engg.). My classes are online because of COVID-19. I was expecting a very good and thorough learning experience; however, the reality is not even comparable. When you take a Logistics management program, you expect to learn about statistical techniques in Operations, Quality, and Risk assessment; but in this program, all you do is submit case studies having no mathematical/statistical component. Most of the case studies that you do as a part of this program is problem solving based: there is a problem, you have to analyze the problem and present your solution in theoretical format. However, in reality, your boss/manager won't give you case studies. Rather, you will have the responsibility of managing operations, supply chain, inventory, and quality of your products, which requires a lot of mathematical and statistical calculations and analysis. But professors do not teach anything related to it. All they do is some brief talking about general stuff and always in rush to finish the lecture within an hour, which is disappointing because you are paying $8500 every semester. Almost every lecture is an hour long (that means you are paying $100 for every lecture for 4 months, that too online lectures). There is one particular professor (Bruce Stead) that does not respond to questions even if you ask during the online lecture multiple times. Other professors are quite okay in my experience when it comes to teaching, but the main problem is regarding thorough learning, which is not there at all. All they do is talk about what is there in the lecture slides, but never teach anything in detail. You have to read and understand everything on your own. On top of that, they give a ridiculous excuse: "1 hour is too less to teach anything in detail!" Is that my problem? I am only responsible for paying fees on time. Still, I am not getting the education I deserve. Long story short, It is my mistake to choose Fanshawe even after having a bad experience for my 1st program. I thought situation will be better for this program, but I was wrong. It is worse than that. Fanshawe is no doubt a CASH GRAB. An important thing about working in Canada as an international student: please stay away from Indian, Pakistani, and Arab employers, I and many friends of mine have bad experience because of exploitation of workers and they do not even pay you minimum wage. Most of them will treat you horribly.
I have heard that part time professors do not even make 7K/year here, you read it right: ~7,000$/year. That is a shame. How can you make a living as a prof or care about teaching when your students make way more than you do? The college prefers to only hire part time profs so they do not pay them benefits. You can spend a life time working there and they would still keep you as part time. Ridiculous!!! People on welfare make more money sitting on their bums.!!! Shame...
Cool
amazing
The worst college in the universe, they don’t respect people time. I am an international student I applied to study cyber security in this college. After I arrived LONDON Ontario I went to the main campus to change my program, as any place you need to wait in line to meet the advisor but they have inefficient system for ordering the lines. The system says the advisor will meet you after 2 minutes but you will wait 70 minutes. Actually I waited from 9:30 to 1:30 to meet the advisor “during this time i could meet Donald trump” To be honest They updated the system and now you could book your appointment before a week . I thought it would be more efficiently and accurately to book your appointment before a week.however I already booked my appointments week ago and my appointment must be on Monday 22 of April 2019 at 1:40 pm .On the the other hand it’s 2:15 pm and i am still waiting outside. My name is first in line on the board since 35 minutes.
I came for the construction program but all I got was bathroom AIDS
Health system management Jan 21? Please message at amritt_08
So after dumping thousands of dollars into a disappointing education I dont even get a diploma on a nice piece of paper I have to go online and get a "virtual diploma" what a joke really sums up my negative experience with Fanshawe College
Before I explain my 2 star review let me say that all the professors I’ve had have been good or even great, and I have had 0 problems with the administration or Fanshawe Online. The problems are, in my opinion, the HUGE number of international students like I have never seen before at any other school, which has lead to overcrowding in the labs/library, as well as noise levels and to be quite honest, feeling of alienation among Canadian students. There has been a major cultural shift on campus, and while there is nothing inherently wrong with that, it is happening way too quickly. You hear more Punjabi or Hindi in the halls than English, and this is not meant to be discriminatory, it’s just a fact. This is not the fault of the international students themselves, but of the college for attracting so many of them to profit off of their *much* higher tuition fees! I get it, the college is also a business, but at this point you may as well rename it something else.
After High School I'm Totally Going There
Worst college don't come for electrical related courses as louis Jraige will teach you .Louis Jraige is the worst teacher , i have ever seen .
Was a wonderful overall college experience.
This place has become a SCAM HUB after Covid19. It is understandable that we are going through a never-ending lockdown, and hence we have to abide by the provincial guidelines for safety reasons. The College had already received the tuition fee for the enrolled students, which also includes the money for the BUS PASS, GYM, and OTHER FACILITIES. So, the College DID NOT refund a single penny to the students who CANNOT USE these facilities. And, THEY ALSO CANCELLED ON THE ACESS for students to use the BUS PASS. | SAME TUITION FEE, maybe $500 more after every semester, BUT CANNOT USE ANY FACILITIES, AND NO REFUND for these unnecessary payment. I'm grateful that I graduated from the college and the first 3 months were beautiful because those were Pre-Covid Era. But being an international student who pays $8000 for ONE semester, and not getting a single penny as a refund for services and facilities which can't be accessed is RIDICULOUS ! I know there are students who came in During the Lockdown, and they haven't even been to the college, not in even once and still pay this BIG SUM for ONLINE EDUCATION. IMAGINE $8000 for 4 months spend on ONLINE EDUCATION, and nothing else! IMAGINE Fanshawe College sending out mails to Students saying : ONLY BLENDED Students can access college facilities. So what about the others who pay the same Canadian MONEY? SCAM ! All that the students want is a simple refund.
It's a business not school. Business office staf are rude, and always put you down. Been treated like an enemy not like a student, very unhelpful.
I am having a post graduate diploma in it now in supply chain management ,i've never been more stressed out and depressed in my life of education, No proper lead or teaching ,there student's portal for assignments and lecture is a big hassle and confusing to a very big extend, sooooo much assignments ,projects and exams though i have 8 month only diploma. unorganized by all means, u can take a midterm, ,class, assignment and project to handle all at once, i really hate everything about this college and thinking seriously to withdraw for a better one
Great school i do recommend
I am an International Student at Fanshawe from India. The campus is very big and there are lot of facilities provided by college. The staff and Management is very helpful and supportive at every point.
Awesome
I will say for the most part this is a good school however the lack of communication is frustrating. I keep getting the run around of different people to speak to. I was told I didnt need to take the writ test then I'm put in a writ class....great another 300 bucks....you do the test but only have 50 minutes to complete and with very little information on what to do....so that is a joke...im told I need to take preplacement courses such as first aid I sign up for the course because I get an email saying I need to do it and sure enough I dont need to do it until next year. Thanks for taking over 300 dollars of my money that was not needed actually more because my husband lost a days pay to watch the kids. I'm very frustrated with the lack of communication of the programs and respect when you ask questions and tell them your frustrations. I feel as if they grab your money and run with it without a care in the world. Plus nothing is ever their fault it's always your fault.
The first two years of the Business Accounting Program at Fanshawe College were great. If I could do it over again, I would not have enrolled in the post graduate diploma third year of the Business Administration Accounting Program. During the first two years my professors were knowledgeable, organized, and set clear expectations. The professors in the third year were disorganized, and inconsistent. I was told by a professor that they have the lower performing teachers in the last year, so people are less likely to drop out in the first two years. (Hence their KPIs suffer less if you drop out during the post graduate year.)
Best college ever !!friendly people!!professional stuff ❤️❤️❤️
I gave low rate because I tried thousand times to call but no answer. I was ready to join a program, but I think it’s better to search somewhere else.
Good college
College is good, glad to see they canned the janitor in z building from last year and now the washrooms and halls are actually getting cleaned. I am attending as a GM ASEP apprentice and all the staff I've encountered are great and know their stuff, would recommend the GM ASEP program at Fanshawe to anybody looking to get into the trade and get licensed. Parking is way over priced at all parking lots but is better if you get a parking pass so you don't have to deal with the machines that don't work if it's snowy rainy or cloudy.
Graduated from here with my bachelor’s and have slowly seen aspects of the school decline. Far beyond capacity because there is a HUGE international population that they insist on increasing every year and as a result the cleanliness standards have severely declined.
Great pizza for the price, however the quality can be inconsistent depending on who's making the pizza
awesome
Im lovin it. ❤️ Great international campus with a wide course choices.
I'm reviewing all the things related to Fanshawe college: education, quality of teaching, schedule, campus, social activities as well as a brief review about the London city and part time job situation. Firstly, the quality of education is above average. My program is Practical elements of mechanical engineering (PEM). So the review is be based on this program. The biggest issue is that there is so much to learn but you don't have enough time to go through the lecture slides and books even for a single time. The course is hectic. The lecture hours are 26 per week for semester 1 and 23 for semester 2. On top of that, you have to do lots of assignments every week, which makes it even more difficult to study and learn your subjects. In short, there is less learning and more assignments involved in this course. Situation is mostly similar for other courses as well. So think twice before getting admission in this program particularly. If I knew this is the case, I would've definitely selected another course. So my frank advice is: STAY AWAY FROM PRACTICAL ELEMENTS OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. I took this course and I'm disappointed, and I don't want others to waste their money and time on this course. The professors are knowledgeable and helping. However, there are a few who don't teach well and always look disinterested. This is a big problem, particularly in semester 2, because subjects are quite difficult and you can't do it on you own because of assignments and busy schedule. So overall, quality of teaching is good (but not very good). Another problem is schedule. It's difficult to get an alternate schedule unlike most of the other colleges in Ontario, where you have a few options regarding days and time. So flexibility of schedule is definitely a problem for most of the people. Let's talk about campus. The overall campus is good considering it's a college. It's really big. But don't compare it to universities like western (it's phenomenal). However, it's always crowded and you barely find a quiet place to study (library is always overcrowded!). Classrooms are usually dirty, so don't expect cleanliness in Classrooms. On the other hand, practical labs like machining, welding, automation, robotics are neat and clean. Social activities: there are NO social activities in fanshawe like other colleges or universities, and that's sad considering fanshawe has 20,000 full time and 20,000 part time students. So all in all, fanshawe is an average college for most of the part. I had high expectations, and I'm regretting my decision of studying in a college. Now, let me give you a brief idea about London. The city is quiet, unlike Toronto or brampton where you see indian and pakistani communities. There is literally NOTHING interesting in the city. There are 2 shopping malls and a few parks. That's it. Transit services is not so good. Sometimes you have to wait for an hour. Lastly, part time job situation: NO PART TIME JOBS. if you are available full time, you might get a job, but part time is very difficult. Also, jobs are seasonal. So your last option is working in a factory. London has a terrible economy and job situation for newcomers. You might need references to sweep the floors! So if possible, avoid Fanshawe and London city. Toronto, Scarborough, Ottawa are much better options. UPDATE: instead of reducing fees and supporting students financially during COVID19, fanshawe has increased fees!(10% hike)
They're just terrible! They're super unorganized, late with everything and the staff that are there to help you could care less. I wish i would of chosen a different school. -5 stars in my book!
Plain lousy everything/one. Zero support shown to students, combative and uncaring admin. Only after $$ not solution orientated at all
Good school however, they have dumb class like WRIT for lower educated teachers can have a job.
As my son got admission in this college, I m waiting for a fabulous response and reply from him.And at the same time, I would like to know whether there is any course for 'visual media' in this college. Finally,I hope that I can add one more star with this during my son's course .May *THE ALMIGHTY* help me to do so...best wishes to all. Thank you.
Course information on their website is way out of date, PDFs of course schedules are from 2014 and 2016. Nobody answers the phone, just sit on hold for hours. Bit of a mystery how anyone signs up for courses at this school.
Anyone who's taking up Health Care Administration Management in Sept 2021?
Changed a lot since 1978
They just need money. Fails international students and asks them to take new courses.
If you speak a shred of English don't go to the international office, I finished a program after retaking a course but I didn't get the completion letter, so I went to the international office, all those pushy saleswoman did is asking me to sign up for another program while waiting, at the end I DM their Twitter account and got the letter in pdf format, I was literally suicidal during that time. Oh I almost forgot, I have seen a professor touching one of my female classmate's shoulder during class. Do yourself a favor, you can learn a lot more on the internet that in a place like this
I am current student. I pretty much like this college. They provide each and every facilities what a student need.
Management does not support international students. I had bad experience a professor who taught us inclusive practice but she was racist. she was rude, she used to point out Indians and when we asked to program coordinator then she said talk to your professor.
Not a great school! The majority of students are international when I say this I mean it's close to 7 to 80% which I find quite disturbing considering none of them speak English and I'm wondering where the heck they're going to work in one cigarette you ate the police foundation programme however is remained predominantly white males with terrible attitude who poked fun at the international students I feel like I am in high school after I requested a refund in my money they chose to ignore my request thanks again I would not recommend this nightmare

Hi everyone, especially to those students of Fanshawe college. I'm currently in HK I just want to know how much is the tuition fees per month for a certain course. Please I need a reliable answer. I want to study there too. Thank you very much.
They specifically divide the classes local students in one batch and international students in other.
I am going to this collage now preparing IELTS
Business Management? Can anyone tell me if this course is worth pursuing from Fanshawe College? Any students from this course here?
This is my dream place I would once be there
I recently heard that Fanshawe College Owns a large part of the CITI PLAZA. If this is true! A whole Lotta us disabled and elderly would love to hear the reasoning for removing all the benches except at water fountain? Please don't use the old excuse that homeless were sleeping on them! So what! You & the rest of the owners of plaza are going to PUNISH the rest of us?? We needed those benches for mobility issues. Bring back benches or losse a lot of $$$$$$$$$ from those of us that cannot go there anymore.
I currently have a Daughter taking a course at Fanshawe College, and she has had a great experience. She will soon be finishing her second and final year.
All about the money. Education comes 2nd. Respect to students doesn't make the list.
As a Chinese Student, i gain a lot of benibits since first two semsters, and it is pretty easy for me to have a good grade, i main, just don’t be lazy, serious, i don’t why so many people wiill have a bad memory during the study. All the students who have the bad grade is lazy, not join the group work. Fanshawe is a pretty good school except their residence fee and textbook fee, it might be more expensive but it is safe right.
Best college of the London
Best two years of my life, the Music Industry Arts program!
I am a graduate of Fanshawe College's Law Clerk program. The education I recieved helped me prepare, and present cases of bullying, and medical malpractice. My education helped in my success. Fanshawe College's print shop is awesome. I cosplay as Star Lord. Volunteering at different events, and charities. Everyone at the Fanshawe College Print Shop, are friendly, and talented. Helping create the labels, and inserts, for my AWESOME MIX cassette tapes. Fanshawe College is the best college in the galaxy. Thank you Fanshawe College. London Star Lord
I've had bad experiences with some instructors here, but the school itself is pretty good. Sure, it has a lot of international students now, but so does every other college in Canada. There are a variety of food options on and off campus, parking is cheap, the campus is spacious, London Transit is free for students, and there are a lot of housing options. Conestoga is overcrowded and in the middle of nowhere.
Fanshawe College has excellent Wellness Centre, food court, Gymnasium, Sports Facilities and as a whole it got almost everything a student would require here in London.
Electrical Techniques: Great program, highly recommended. The professors go above and beyond to make it an amazing learning experience
Nothing positive to say about this college. They just want your money and treat you like dirt. Joke of an education system.
I was all for Fanshawe College. After fighting for my osap every semester for being a part time student is a frustrating process. I’m fully online and students are right you have to figure out a lot of it on your own. Don’t get me wrong …
Honestly did not believe all these reviews untill I run into a problem myself. Now, I just found out that I am being forced to extend my study by at least an extra year and $40k+ due to one failed course. This was NOT made clear to me by anybody, even though I asked many times how it would affect my progress. The funny part is that my program coordinator was not in college and consequently I was not made aware of the problem untill the week before the semester starts, which means now I dont have an option to transfer or do anything else, as it's too late, and I have also already invested 2 years of my time and a LOT of money into this college, especially as an international student. Administration has been extremely unhelpful and some straight up rude. Pretty sure I am being extorted from. Honestly, I am extremely pissed and seriously considering withdrawing. Please don't give this place any more money.
I attended Fanshawe for Pre-Health and Nursing. Most of the professors I had were great, and a few of them had quite a strong impact deciding where I wanted to work post-grad. The Oasis has incredible food and I found myself there VERY frequently. Some parts of the campus were quite dated and were consistently dirty (though I'm sure the "dirty" part is largely due to carless students), even the newest dorm (Merlin) was dated and is probably due for a refresh. Overall, I'd easily recommend a friend or family member to attend Fanshawe as well, though I'd recommend that they stay off-campus.
i wish could give it a 0 star rating, worst ever college. The administration over here is really annoying. Specially the people sitting in the international office, they are most dumbest people here in this college, some of the student life coordinators are sitting there just to misrepresent students instead of listening to their problems except for one who is always sweet and gives the best advice (L) and yeah how can i forget the people sitting at front desk of international centre, they are even more arrogant, egoistic and utter non sense species ever existed in this planet. Thumbs down to the international staff for letting my hopes go that down that i feel like nobody is here to cooperate. Better to go with some other college.
Wish they spent more on quality professors.
I am currently a student here. I absolutely love it. Students look out for each other; two examples of this occurred in my first week of school when I left my coat behind at a table and another student returned it along with my wallet and all of it's contents. Also, on my second day, I was having difficulty finding a class and another student noticed I was lost and took the time to get me to the right place. Staff in general are amazing, friendly, professional, courteous and always willing to answer questions, whether it's your professors, staff at one of the many delicious food establishments on campus, or security/office staff/other. Just a great experience all around, you will never be disappointed in your choice to attend this college!
Great school. I know from experience. :)
No customer service no help for new students
I want to in animations course
I love attending this college. The teachers are engaging and enthusiastic. It's been during the pandemic and they are adapting wonderfully.
Nice campus in northeast London, may not have the course for everyone but my electronics course did landed me a job in my field. I still go back for some of their food and the restaurants have decent selections.
When will you open business genral programs for undergraduates...I have been applying for offer letter from last 2 month's but still courses are not open
Great college, perfect services ????
One of the best college ...
Graduated 2016, get a job is easy!
Library & play ground, etc
I applied and got into my program, then applied for osap and after 3 months of asking them where my money was and asking everyone possible for help turns out there was some back-end issue no one was willing to take responsibility for and now I owe the school money for a program I never got to attend. No ones willing to help or take any responsibility for anything here, I’m looking into taking legal action at this point, I’m so tired of these guys ): never dealt with this much stress dealing with a school in my entire life.
Utterly useless. Waste of time and money when the teachers don't even teach.
Gained lots of stress!!
Worst course of my life! - they do not care about their own students , networking is the worst class in CTN/CTY Program. The program course itself is very unorganized compared to the other technology classes. Fanshawe boosted my depression by ten folds!
I'm sorry, I'm paying for 100% lectures but not receiving anywhere close to 100% of lecture times? I get COVID-19 has made things difficult, but hear me out. For this example, say you have a class that's 3 credits (3 hours a week). If classes were in person, the teachers would be required to set aside 3 hours per week regardless so they can teach it. But with COVID, they are now only required to set aside 1 hour and let the students do the rest. Let me explain... This semester, I had 11 hours/week of lectures reduced to 4 hours/week. Tuition (for these courses) was the same, not reduced according to the reduced lectures times. Next semester I'm to have 8 hours/week of lectures. According to my schedule, its only going to be 3 hours/week. Tuition is still not reduced. So Fanshawe, thank you for absolutely screwing over your students. We are paying for 100% of lectures but only receiving closer to 37% of actual lectures. In other words, we (the students) are over-paying and teachers and Fanshawe are benefiting from it. How about you step up your game and require teachers to teach AT LEAST 80% of their assigned credits! I mean, I've heard teachers say "We have to make sure that there's enough room for your other classes" as an excuse, but if this were in person, the teachers would STILL be required to teach to their full amount. If we paid for 3 credits, we should get 3 hours of lectures. If COVID wasn't around, teachers would still be required to teach the full 3 hours a week. It's simple. This is an absolute joke. Fanshawe, you are willingly abusing the contract to the students, but not doing anything about it. I hope this comes back on you.
I studied here and the atmosphere in college is very friendly and for the international students you will find more comfort and it is also provides an opportunity to enhance your skills. As well as study you can have a great student life here. Especially for indian students you will find a almost the same india for yourself..
It was a waste of time lol
Fanshawe College is the number one choice for thousands of students each year. Whether you're from around the corner or around the globe, Fanshawe College offers career training and skills upgrading to suit your needs.
If anyone who is currently studying project management in Fanshawe college please contact me at IG: stock.ify_ It would be a great help to me.
Got 2 diplomas and a certificate here . Fun times.
One word: Beautiful
Great place to get an education. Need better cleaner housing for students. Paid parking is available.

This school is so unprofessional and disorganized. Make the right decision and choose another college.
these kids are coming out of college from machining and CNC programs with no experience in running machines or knowing the fundamentals of machine set up they are promised $28/hr salary FROM THE COLLEGE. i have observed and trained countless students from Fanshawe college who do not know how to clock holes or indicate a drill bit or how to properly set up tools in a CNC they are simply not taught important lessons instead they're introduced or more like overwhelmed with CAD/CAM and G code programming courses. not a good strategy.
Helpful staff
5south 55,5,
Best campus in Canada!
I would rate this faaaarrr lower, but they don't give the option. Honestly, worst school you could invest your hard earned money into. To start, if you plan on doing YOUR share of the assigned work, think again. Anyone who has bad English skills, their partners in the group or paired work are expected to correct their work and if not then the whole group will end up suffering for that grade and have to share the same grade as the group members who did not finish their share of the work. They love to say that "Fanshawe Cares", but when it actually comes down to trying to deal with them, you get shut out or told, "well this is a business so...". Residence is just a money grab and IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. More holes, molding issues, problems with mice, broken amenities and objects in dorms/houses, stains and dried up spills, and bodily fluid stains in the places than their are positives. Not to mention, roommate pairings are utterly disgusting; I got paired with a clinically diagnosed psychopath that caused a few of my roommates to move out and management will do nothing about this even though they are aware. Security does not protect the students, rather they protect their jobs and do minimal work to help the students. When my roommate falsely accused me of being suicidal to security, they came to my house and who decided to leave the house? That same roommate-that same clinically diagnosed psychopath. They wrote in their notes that I was rambling on when I explained how my roommate has caused numerous issues among the rest of the house and asked how it was fair that she can have a serious alcohol problem and drink everyday and do hallucinogens almost every weekend. Not to mention, they wrote that I hadn't eaten since Tuesday (and this was a Sunday-I would not be able to survive if that was the case), that I had crumbs in my hair (my hair was in a neat bun and I just showered that day), and that I was born in 2017 (and it is 2019????). Even our foreign exchange student couldn't stand to be around her because of the repulsive and rude things she would say. She even would come home and say, "if ______ does anything to piss me off today, imma go homicial on her." Do you think she said it just once? Of course not. She yelled it multiple times in the kitchen and then turned to me and said, "I'm serious. If she does ONE more thing, then imma go homicial on her." When I went to the Fowler Kennedy Clinic, I had multiple doctors try to push medications on me and, after leaving Fanshawe, had found out that I should not have even tried those medications because the side effects I received caused more issues with my mental health than when I first came into that school (not on any medications). The doctors at the hospital were confused why I was even put on such heavy doses as well! They also say, "theft is taken very seriously here at the college," but I had over $800 worth of belongings (that were secured in my room with the window locked and the door locked and secured) by someone that was hired by the residence and was on parole. Somehow he managed to steal everything, they ask my psychopath roommate about my belongings and take her word on that they "were never there" and that "she has never seen any of the described items ever in the house." Their security did a door audit and said that nothing was tampered with after a month, but tell me that they "cannot view cameras after 12 days because that is all they have." Additionally, they took their sweet time until dealing with my case, even though I reported the theft immediately and kept asking them to help me. I was just told "we have lots of time to deal with this" by the head manager of security. They never actually dealt with anything and I spent from mid March-mid July trying to deal with them. Once they don't want to hear from you, they WILL ignore your emails. There is so many sketchy things going on here and I would seriously reconsider going here, take it from someone who wasted 2 years at this school.
Good school but parking is a mess. Barely enough spots for staff let alone for students as well.
They are quite serious about covid-19. I liked the precautions they are taking.
Best college
SO unorganized compared to other colleges... Had to wait 40 mins total for someone to answer my phone call about course selections, to find out they DO it for you. So I got no email, stressed out because they never gave a date about when to apply for first semester, and the Office of the Registrar lady was completely rude over the phone, sighing and making it seem like I am stupid and dont know what I am doing. Totally unprofessional and I am in absolute shock.

Website is complicated, the payment methods are confusing, slow calls, no help received from teachers when needed.
Did two courses here 1. NSA : NETWORK SECURITY ARCHITECTURE 2. MKM: MARKETING MANAGEMENT NSA is not for just under graduated students , it is an advanced level course, so take this course only if you have some experience in network security Industry MKM : Being from the engineering background , i have had a little knowledge of management but this course has helped me a lot in improving my communication, soft skills and also got exposure to how management sector operates , digital marketing, SEO , GOOGLE ANALYTICS AND GOOGLE ADWORDS, I can say I have great expertise in the digital marketing sector now with the knowledge this course has provided me.
In Ontario this could be the best choice for Mechanical student. career oriented and hands on skills have been taught, which even could adds up a little real life experience in one's resume. Fully satisfied
Awesome
it was terrible!! Complete joke of a school !Very bad experience with Fanshawe college, they do only care about money and profit.Fanshawe will only help you when you apply for their college .you will get Fanshawe offer at the fast speed …
Had a wonderful experience here the last 3 years. Can't believe my time here is over. Will miss it - everyone involved who works at the college has been so fantastic!
Glad to get admission in this college...
A cool looking school with some decent programs. I hear good thing about the music production programs. They have great facilities with squash courts in the gym. This school has lots of little nooks you can sneak a quick nap in between classes or you can sneak a quick nap in the library. The on campus pub was fun to hang out in and get a pitcher or two with or classmates. Students were friendly and it is a pleasant school to attend. Take some time and discover all the campus has to offer.
Not organized at all... They don't take care about students.. They are taking care about their salaries, and positions.
I'll be honest - They are very nice and understanding however things happen with OSAP and bursaries that might screw you over. I havent ran into these problems but my friends have. My experience has been troubled but it was fixed. The third year fine art students of 2018-19 were very rude to the point where I had to get the special constable involved (police). They continued even after that and no matter where you are, always be aware that there will be people out to get you. I was also previously here for Graphic Design. As usual the work load is flexible with accomedations however it is stressful. Lots of work for Graphic Design. I did not excel in it and switched to Fine Arts. I kinda regret switching due to the social aspects that happened last year. With bullying, targeting, and alienation, it was not the best. Always try to keep an open mind people. Always be nice. Please. Because you may not know what people are going through. Respectfully, with love, Mazi
Good Place to study but a bit expensive for international students to study depending on course it will be worth it though
Racist
Dump college. Dump administrative office. Dump international student service. Irresponsible and rude staff at the registrars office. Do not worth even a single star.
The campus looks amazing, facilities have upgraded during pandemic period.
Nice, clean and safe environment. Student friendly system.
most unorganized school ever!! my highschool was more organized. very unproffesional. profs have little to no communication with their students. whenever seeking for help i have to wait days, only for the prof to give very minimal support. not worth the money because money and image is ALL they care about, NOT the students future. if i could give 0 stars I would.
Fanshawe is the best school I have gone to! I took Early Childhood Education and the professors there are very helpful and polite. Everyone there helped me with everything i needed and they support you in getting a job. I would highly reccomend coming here ????
Enjoying my time at Fanshawe so far, residence repairs were done within 24 hours. However my major concern at this college is parking. They do their parking raffle in July, so if you didn't sign up for it then well that's too bad. I started in January and I am being forced to pay for parking on a weekly basis which is $33. Basically the parking pass costs $330 for 6 months. For 1 month of parking I have to pay $132. So I have to pay nearly $800 for the same $330 parking pass for 6 months. How can you say there's no parking passes available, but have no problem selling me one weekly for $33? Seems like a huge scam run by Fanshawe to me. I'm from out of town so taking the bus is out of the equation, Fanshawe is clearly taking full advantage of this. Don't wanna pay for parking and get slapped with a $40 parking ticket. Don't pay it? You wont get your diploma. This is just beyond ridiculous considering I'm paying nearly $900 a month to live on residence.
Waste of money. Only give assignments without teaching. Worst place to study.
Have had nothing but a terrible experience with this campus during the covid pandemic and there last minute change from in class to online 'class' even getting a refund has dragged on and is wasting my time. Horrible, stick to conastoga if your in trades. much better experience!
It's a horrible school they care nothing about there students the only good part is the placements that can help get u a job otherwise it's not worth your time or money
Do yourself a favor, DO NOT come to this school and waste your money and time. Awful college, they will only help you when you apply for their college, I used to receive so many advertising emails from them when I wasn’t their student. Once you get in the college and you need help, they never help you effectively!!! I contacted them for so many times as a current student and they never helped me, if you are a prospective student they will reply you right away because they want your money! All they can see is MONEY! Fortunately I’m gonna graduate soon, so regret to attend this college Update: I just graduated from this college and I contacted them for some help, none of them helped me!!!!! Now I’m helpless. This is ridiculous!!!!!
After studying and passing everything with minimum B grade your “preceptor” doesn’t think you should graduate so they refuse to graduate you based on that assessment. And after you appeal and you get your Appel granted. They won’t act on it and will ignore your email/text and phone calls and in person if they can. Thank you for wasting my money and time. Take your money somewhere else. That’s my advice.
Sweet
What a waste of a year... the staff does not care about anything other than money. They almost made me pay 750 dollars for continuing my program, instead of switching like I was initially supposed to do. It is purely a money grab. The residence was brutal. Consistent problems, horrible staff once again. The food costed a fortune. Teaching staff was okay, I had profs I loved and ones I hated. Extremely happy I am transferring
Studied there for 4 years Graduated from the English program and then from the business accounting program and the general business program. Awesome staff.
Great for trades
I was excited to go to Fanshawe, but I quickly regretted my decision soon after my first day. Ultimately, I have only ever felt like a number here at Fanshawe. They are pretty inconsistent with staff and are rather unorganized. Staff are not educated enough and don’t seem to know about the school very well at all. I realize that all college’s are businesses and want to make money, but it seemed Fanshawe was pretty bad for it - they were never able to make me feel like I was important to the school - their customer service is very poor. I often found that certainly, they had some good policies in place - but they really only followed them when it benefited them. I am going to finish up my first year here at Fanshawe, and then I will be transferring to a different college. Here are some specific issues I experienced. -my roommates in residence smoked pot and because of this, I wanted a room change. When I brought this to the attention of the Residence Life Manager, he told me that because I wouldn’t do mediation, I would have to $100 to switch rooms - even though the other girls were doing illegal activity that violated the schools residence standards. They would often leave out their bongs on the kitchen table, and so even though I had taken pictures of it, the Residence Life Manage simply stated that it was "alleged drug abuse". My other option was to stay in that room and risk them getting caught and being ‘painted with the same brush’. -months before I started in September, I e-mailed Accessibilities asking what type of documentation I would need in order to get accommodations for my disability. I never heard from them, and when I got there in September they told me I should’ve emailed them earlier to get the documentation straightened out and ease the process of getting accommodations. -when i finally got accommodations, and the accommodation letters were sent out to my teachers, i still had a teacher that would make fun of students who used laptops - often saying we never learned anything. Because of my disability, I have to take my notes with a laptop, and as much as i understand that “a joke is a joke”, I still found it upsetting. this teacher also told my friend who has anxiety that she could “just get over it”. -another problem i often found was that it was extremely difficult to get clear answers from any of the staff, or even any responses at all. there were many incidents, however i recall one were I had a book for a course i was not taking as apart of my program that semester on my booklist. i emailed my program coordinator, asking if i needed to buy the book for the semester or not. We went back and forth between six or so emails, and the only thing she was able to confirm with me was that I was not scheduled to take the course that semester. I didn’t buy the book ultimately and didn’t need it that semester, but am still confused as to why i couldn’t get a clear response after explicitly asking; “Do I need to purchase the book this semester”.
I wish I was able to give 0 stars. Do not go to this place, they steal your money. They don’t care about you, all they care is MONEY.
Great college for studies. But International office is full of racist people. They discriminate every person who is not Canadian. They made jokes about international students but in reality we r paying more than domestic students. Their are very few people on the ground representing the international students. Mostly are not international students. The people in International office acts as Sovereign Employees who make fun, disrespecting others and never ever try to solve the problems.
" This is my dream place. I want do study in Fanshawe College" .
