I have dealt with dalmar motors for years with yearly maintenance they are awesome and do not push anything. I had a 2015 jetta for 6 years and it was still excellent. Just time for me to upgrade. I stopped in and saw Tom Martin. And chatted with him. He was very knowledgeable about Volkswagen and was not pushy at all. I would recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade. He is awesome. Please do not deal with the other guys Tom will look after you.

Luke and willy were top notch, they have this whole car sale thing dialed in. Knowledgable and experienced. A lot can be done through text, in fact that's how we bought our 2nd car was almost entirely through text. Everyone is so busy these days it's nice to be able to just ask questions and get rapid responses on the fly. We just bought our 3rd VW from Dalmar, and will go back. These guys aren't you typical greasy sales men, they seem to actually care if your happy or not. Recommend them 100%.

As a new settler in Canada, I visited Dalmar VW for discussing a lease of a VW Jetta. I was concerned that I may have the credit rating for the lease. Tom Martin helped me navigate the process and worked with finance, ensuring a very warm welcome to a new life in Canada by arranging the lease without any difficulty for me. I have had my Audi A5 serviced from Dalmar for the last two years and have always been impressed by the friendly staff and the drive they have ensuring my satisfaction with their service. At a recent appointment I had a concern regarding a major future repair that would be required on my vehicle and the service consultant, Andrew Kay responded immediately to thoroughly discuss options and to assure me that everything would be taken care of. The dealership was true to their word as my car is in incredible condition now. It was extremely relieving being able to trust leaving my vehicle in their hands and knowing the job would be done to a high standard. Thoroughly impressed.

We worked with Christian Brizzio, who is an excellent sales professional, greatly knowledgeable and extremely patient to answer everyone’s questions in the family. I had a worst experience at this dealership. I bought a maintenance package for 750 dollars and when I went to get my service, I still got charged with 130 dollars approx. I tried to speak to service department who were very rude. Not even the finance manager or salesperson tried to even understand the situation or helped. I would not recommend anyone to get a car or service done at this dealership. Be aware of those scammers. In second scenario they are justifying in the reply that I came in for early service which is not true. Firstly I bought the brand new car at this dealership so I don't have to go early or I am not too eager to get it done before the scheduled time. I came because on the windshield the service sticker said when I should get the service done. Although if that was the case when I called to book an appointment, the service department asked me for the km on car. And they should have notified this before the service. They did the service then rudely said no payment no car keys. When I asked to cancel the further services in future, they denied my refund. On top of that they did something wrong with my car and my screen is not working since I got the service done. When I called about it, the receptionist kept hanging up my phone and didn't call back or gave me any appointment till now. I don't even care about it as I have better cars to drive at home but not many of the people have it. So respectful to everyone who are reading those reviews, don't trust anyone in their dealership. Its better to avoid this dealership.

After taking my car in for a winter tire swap, I noticed things on my car that I never noticed before. Ken, the service manager rectified the situation and handled it very professionally. Definitely recommend this dealership for service or purchasing a new vehicle. Amazing staff, but you might want to give the exterior of the dealership a facelift.

Probably one of the worst experiences I could have had probably ever. Conor was a nice enough sales person and was knowledgeable but they (their team at Dalmar) did not deliver in anyway. The car was not on the lot and had to be ordered. I was told a week. Then left in the dark for about 3. I followed and and couldn't get a straight answer. The whole thing took about a month. They (the whole team) took little to no responsibility for the experience and in the end gave me a spare key that wasnt even for my car. This took another few weeks to "fix" and the mechanic left a stain on my roof that I had to go back in to the shop to clean. The car (2018 Golf Sportwagen) has a leaking roof, when I told them about it they basically shrugged it off and said book something online, no help was offered. I wouldnt go back here if you paid me.

Tom spent lots of time with me, going through the details of the different models so I could make an informed decision, and Willie walked me through all of the features when my new car arrived. Rob made the leasing process a breeze and explained everything thoroughly. There was no pressure, and they really make you feel like part of the Dalmar/VW family.

I have been a customer of Dalmar since 2018 when I bought my 2019 Jetta. In the past 6 months my engine light has come on 4 times . I took it to Dalmar Service, 3 out of the 4 times to get it checked out . I was told the 3 times that it was the gas cap that was not fully secured and needed to be tight . All 3 times!!! Obviously, I went for a second opinion when the light came on for 4th time less than a month after being told it was the gas cap . I took my car to Leavens . It was the best decision ever. Well, it turns out it was not the gas cap as I suspected . After performing an inspection of the evap regulation cap they found the tub was cracked near mount at upper timing cover. They did all the necessary work In order to correct it !!! During the scan, they also found an active fault for the steering gear! My guess is that Dalmar’s staff was waiting for the warranty on the car to run out so they could charge me for the repairs . That’s the only reasonable explanation. That or that the technicians are really incompetent. Needless to say I’m never going back to Dalmar ever again. Just save yourself some headaches and take your car to Leavens Pedro Herrera

They pretty much they don't care about helping you if you want to repair anything on insurance. Same insurance that VW is giving to their cars not another one. I am waiting for over a year for a resolution on rust repair on the 12 years warranty that VW gives by default to their vehicles. They've been nasty and rude and not helpful at all through this process. Not even bothered to call me and let me know that their service is going to be closed. I had to call several times, left voicemails to find out that after 6 months they didn't even send the paperwork to VW Germany. I am pretty sure they haven't to this day....so good luck with us buying another VW car or any of our friends and relatives. We've been huge VW fans for years and had several VW cars over the years as we are European, but Dalmar managed to make us decide for other brands...I would not recommend Dalmar to anyone ever!

Purchased my car here over 5 years and while I didn't mind my buying experience. The customer service from the VW Service Department has decreased significantly over the years. Phoning to book/update an appointment is challenging, constantly being put on hold or leaving a message to not be called back. The two gentleman who are often found at the service counter are impolite and speak down to you, in my experience. Such a wildly different experience across the city.

Both Sam Carson, my sales representative, and Rob Rose, in the business department, were very accommodating, answering my questions, returning calls promptly, and making changes when I asked for changes. If you buying VW, you better going to Leavens Volkswagen, not this one, it is far, but it is worth it. if you buying a Audi, good luck, this is the only dealership in London, and you don't have any choice. bought my Audi 9 Years ago, and sold 3 years ago, they never change my carbon filter in that 6 year time. Back in 2013, went for a service to change my filter, they did not do any of the work on invoice, and want charge me $800, pulled the technician who worked on my car that day out of the shop to go through the bill, and he cancel almost 90% of the items on the bill and mention that is wired, they did not do any of those. So i only paid what he did that day. Service manager called me next morning stating the technician who fixed my car have no idea what he did, and he want to charge me more. Said thanks and sold my car. Bottom line : Don't buy cars at this location

Very bad service, I got an appointment for service, waited 2 weeks to get it and I took a day off. When I went, they told me that it might not be ready on time and it might take couple of hours because they had issues at the service center that they experienced the day before, and they offered to reschedule my appointment. They could have told me the day before! I wouldn't recommend them for anyone, if I compare them with Leavens Volkswagen in the east part, I'd rather drive 17 km for better customer service and for their convenience.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Tom Martin at Dalmar, he was very helpful and friendly and made buying a car feel pressure free. We literally test drove every 6-7 seat vehicle on the market but came back because of Tom. There was a deep scratch on our vehicle upon arrival (likely from transport) and Tom took care of it for us and now you can’t even tell there was a scratch. I’d highly recommend Tom if you’re looking for a pressure free purchase.

Bora was our sales rep for our new VW Golf. The car was for my son and we went in together. I explained to Bora it was not only a car purchase but a learning experience for my son and he was great. Dalmar Motors customer care is over the top amazing. Car would not start, no warning signs, thankfully really close to the dealership. Called and they had their foreman come over - he tried to start no luck. Josh came back 2 minutes later and jump started the car, then diagnosed my battery back at the shop, showed me the electronic analysis, 'replace battery'. Zero pressure to buy one there, but I did. Josh installed it, right away, no fee to do that and reset the car settings. I was on my way in 15 minutes. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, while I was stressed. Josh was amazing, professional, friendly and explained everything. I drove away and was so impressed with the service I'm writing my first ever Google review.

We love Conor! We shopped around at other dealerships and our time with Conor was the very best out of all our lifetime of car buying experiences! It was a really laid-back sale. He's personable and always respected our time, whether we only had a few minutes or an hour or more. Conor came with us on our first test drive, but it was really relaxed, like we had a friend in the car with us, not a sales person. There was absolutely no pressure. He even let us take the car for a couple hours for a second test drive a few weeks later. He happily answered all our questions both before and after the sale. He really knows (and loves!) the Volkswagen brand. Conor worked hard and quickly to get us EXACTLY the car we wanted before the current promotion was over. Once everything was said and done, he even helped us write the Kijiji ad for our 16 year old Jetta. Conor was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we'd definitely buy another car from him in the future.

WORST EXPERIENCE !!! Don't ever take your car to this shop because you will lose your your money and it will not solve your car problem. My car had an intermittent fault (sometimes it would started and others no and and would shut down with the engine running). The first time I took the car to them they changed the fuel pump but after that the car continued with THE SAME problem. I took it two more times (even I left the car for a week in order they could drive and it and detect the failure) According Chris (maintenance) if the car had no code at the scanner they could not make a diagnose . Tired of this situation I contacted real mechanics in Toronto and inmediately they detected that it was the cranshaft position sensor the cause of the intermittent failure. In the end the dealer changed my fuel pomp ($ 948.52) unnecessarily. Incredibly there are no mechanics in that dealer. They are simply scanners readers who have no idea how an engine works.

There is a reason that there are so many negative reviews on Dalmar Motors. Look up dealer rater online. The sales rep I talked to knew nothing about the car and just started stating random facts as if they were out of a playbook written for him. They all seem miserable and could care less about the vehicles they have in their lineup. The other issues I have had so far is with the service department. I took my vehicle in four times for the same issue telling the sales team exactly what the problem was and they refused to believe that it could be the problem. Finally I told them "drive the vehicle yourself and you'll see!" So they did and low and behold, the problem that I had told them that it was turned out to be more than a suspicion. I mean when you have an amateur diagnosing the issue that your techs cant find you need to be in another field of business. Overall my experience with this place has been horrific and I wouldn't recommend anyone going to dalmar for any future business. Its disgusting the way they treat their customers, their service is atrocious, and they conduct their business like children. STAY AWAY!

I purchased a brand new 2018 Tiquan Highline at Dalmar. I test drove it once but with the sales man beside me talking about the features the whole time. The day after I got it home, I had several complaints. Vehicle is loud. Engine has no guts. The panoramic lights don't work. Vibration in steering. I had several conversation via text and emails. They informed me that there was a recall on my panoramic lights and they had been switched off. They could only get me in to service in about 2 and 1/2 weeks. I meet with Willie Mates who informed me he could get me in service sooner amd he would email me an appointment...never heard from him again. My navigation intermittently works, but no one will actually fix it, they just keep asking me to try different things ie: reset to factory setting..tried it, worked for a week. They sold me a car with a recall without telling me and now that there is a fix for the recall, but it does not apply to my vehicle. I tried to return my car early in the purchase and they told me that they would only give me back money at used cost. Last week i emaild Mr. Dalglish the principal manger...i have not had a response. worst purchase and service. There add ahould be "our cars are like our service unreliable"

Horrible place! If my vehicle must visit a Audi dealership. I drive almost 2 hours away. Not very knowledgeable with their own product. If your getting any work done. GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE HANDING YOUR KEYS OVER!! Charged me an additional 45 dollars for oil change. Marked everything green OK on my vehicle! bulbs, filters, fluids, tires, etc. all OK. But the tires were bald. 2 burnt out bulbs. lots of low fluids. Some tech just marked off, green green green on the check list. They charged me 2.5 hours labour, didn't fix the issue I brought the vehicle in for. Took it to another local shop. Not even specializing in European vehicle. fixed it for..... FREE!! 10 minute fix!

I am frustrated that I am overcharged for regular services. 1) According to your bulletin board, alignment costs 119.99 not 139.99. Why did you charge me more? It is also more expensive than the other dealership (Leavens). Explain, please! 2) You also didnt give me the assessment report about the alignment. So, how can I justify that your alignment was necessary? Explain, please! 3) As you know, my car is small. So, the cost should not be that expensive. Also, I waited for more than 5.5 hours for tire installment and alignment, which took longer than usual. But, you still charged me a lot more without proper assessment report. Explain,please! Overall, it is indeed extremely unpleasant!

Honestly, the expectations were quite high on the company that promotes Volkswagen brand. In reality, the customer service/sales responsiveness made a decent room for improvement (just as communication skills). Perhaps, should have lowered my expectations. Poor service reflects on the brand name. Not pursuing it anymore.

I was witness to a call between my father and the used car sales manager of this location. My father who has years of experience provided constructive feedback regarding his experience as they were undercutting him by roughly $7,000. He advised that big city dealerships (closer to Toronto) are taking their business, because they are providing better offers and service to their clients. It was at this point the manager disconnected the call abruptly. Considering that we were also looking at a Volkswagon, we will not be purchasing from this dealership either.

It's a great experience with Tom and Rob. They are very professional, passionate, and know exactly what you want. We mentioned that we had very limited time, Tom explained everything and showed us the car so efficiently, Really enjoyed the time with Tom. And we said we won't be able to go to the store, so Tom and Rob helped us to have all the files and process done online, saved so much time and travel, just one whole week we went to pick up our new car! Great car purchase experience at VW Dalmar Motors during covid times! Purchased an Atlas Cross Sport from Willie, the new car Sales Manager and had a pleasant experience dealing with him. He is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. He took the time to go through every inch of the vehicle with me to help me familiarize myself with the vehicle features. Absolutely LOVE my Atlas Cross Sport. I would highly recommend Dalmar Motors for the great all around VW experience.

Really not much to be said here. I've been both an Audi and Volkswagen customer in multiple areas across the country and have not received service and customer care like they do it here. I recall one time they opened up the body shop after-hours as I stressed it was an emergency and they got it done promptly for a good price. Something I value at Dalmar is that the sales people are not pushy and in your face, rather honest and polite.

He was able to accommodate me for a last minute appointment and explained details of a trade-in so that I was able to understand exactly why the value of my existing vehicle is as it is. As part of the VW emissions settlement I traded my 2011 Jetta TDI for a 2015 Passat TDI. Upon finding the car on AutoTRADER I emailed the dealer and received a prompt response from a salesman, Mike East. I phoned Mike to discuss the car and although it was already aggressively priced we managed to add a few value added items that made me feel this was a good deal. I live 550km from the dealer so the car was bought based on the pictures and conversations. A date was set for me to drive down and in the meantime a 2016 Bettle classic appeared on their site. My daughter was looking for a car so I contacted Mike again and we were able to make another deal. The date we set to get the cars, they were actually closed but because of the distance I was travelling Mike opened up for me to finalize the paperwork, on a long weekend on top of that. Both cars were as promised and I'm completely satisfied with them. They went above what I expected to make this a great deal and a great experience. Thanks again.

Ask for TOM, he is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. Buying a car during a global shortage was not hard at all we got one fresh from the factory in less then a month, he kept us updated with the delivery the whole time. Great service and they know they’re stuff and you dont have to worry when you work with Tom as he gives a fair price that was better than other dealers.

Came in to get a new battery for my key fob and it cost $28! Few months later, stopped into the Dodge dealership and it cost $6! Didnt realize it was a simple 3V battery. Glad I know now. Won't ever get my car serviced here for other reasons but this takes the cake!

Worst service for body warranty. I've had 2 Audi's and have made warranty claims on both for rust and always get brushed off when I ask for updates. My latest car I've been waiting since March of 2015 for a claim and they always had an excuse and say they'll call me back. I finally just got fed up and called Audi Canada and they've told me there isn't even a claim # yet, meaning the dealership never submitted my claim. If there was another Audi dealer close by I would definitely go to it.

I’ve had several dealings with them from paint warranty to faulty brake inspections. Told I needed new brakes and rotors with 8mm of pad left in 90+% of my brake. Tried to tell me I had 3mm or less behind the brake calliper that I couldn’t see and wanted to show me. (My mechanic said a piece of metal was put between the pad to push it slightly). Recently was told my Tiguan needed a decarb -$1700. New coils, plugs (had plugs redone 2 months ago) and a decarb of the intakes/injectors. Took it elsewhere, 3 coils later and a decarb/injector flush and it’s working great. Saved me $1000. Also tried to quote me $305 for life supports for my back trunk or my golf. Got them for $81 tax in at Napa. Took 5 minutes to install. Paint warranty was brought to their attention. They measured the paint and said it was repainted when it wasn’t. (I’m sure it went through the factory paint a couple times). I had to take it higher up. Buyer beware! Don’t hesitate to get a second opinion! They like to do preventive maintenance (stuff that isn’t necessary) rather than locate the problem. That’s all I have to say.

Unfortuante experience with service. I bought my vehicle last year a brand new 2018 Tiguan it had a recall thought it would be a simple fix but it felt like I was chasing the service department. I went in for an initial assessment, was told they needed to order in my part (completely understandable). After two weeks of not hearing anything I left 3 voicemails over a week and half no response. I understand this is a chaotic time with covid - 19, but being a business operating it shouldn't be hard to keep your customers informed about what is going on.

Incredible experience!!!! Service department blew my doors off!!!!! Literally it looked liked they used a can of compressed air to clean every nook and cranny of my car. Went in for my 64km service and was greeted with nothing but warm friendly smiles and a coffee from my sales rep.... surprised he even remembered my name. Shuttle driver was hilarious as he drove me to work and was picked up right on time with the driver holding the door open for me. When I got back to the dealership even got a handshake from the owner. What other dealership does that? Cars running great and NEVER had any issues with Dalmar!!!! Keep Calm and VW On #dalmar4life

I can't say enough about the experience that I have had at Dalmar Motors Collision Centre. They are amazing. Very professional and they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. From the moment you meet with Alex and Chris, you know your car will be returned perfectly. I had my Audi A6 repaired at another body shop, which I have gone to for 20 years. I was not happy with the job that they did so I went to Dalmar Motors and talked to Alex. He showed me how they cut corners when the painted my bumper. He fixed all of their mistakes and made my car look brand new again. Take my advice. Don't trust your car repair to just any body shop. Insist on going to the people who know how it comes apart and more importantly, on how is should go back together. Thanks again Alex and Chris. You guys are amazing.

I just bought a Volkswagen atlas lesser than two week ago when I pickup the vehicle it has some light scratches on the body, they said they will fixed it and will call next Monday to schedule appointment to fix it but they never did, so I went there to talk about it today morning to the sale manager they said they will fix it and will give a call today , so far there is 4 pm and no call yet . I wonder how hard to make an appointment . Update: Today they fixed it up for me and the manager is very kind .

I came into this dealership about a month or so ago in search of replacement wiper blades for my son's car. Unknown to me, I parked on the opposite side of the dealership of where I needed to be. Upon entering, I came across a dismissive, and rude young female who both huffed at me, and rolled her eyes when asked to direct me to the parts counter. However, the gentleman at the parts counter was extremely helpful and fulfilled my request quickly. Upon leaving, the young female had been accompanied by a young man and they both gave me dirty looks and laughed at me as I exited the building. Unfortunately this has put a distaste in my mouth, and I will be sure to stay clear of the sales department at this dealership moving forward.

** This is not a recent 2020 experience ** I had inquired about trading in my Touareg in 2019. I had a few quick email exchanges with Christian which were fine. However, I had decided to keep my Touareg for a little while longer. I reached out a few months later for another purchase, no trade-in, and unfortunately the vehicle I saw online was no longer available. I ended up dropping in the next day to see Christian and introduce myself as I live in Toronto and am not in London often. He was not there but I spoke with the receptionist and asked her to let him know I stopped by to review what I was looking for as a next purchase. The lady wrote my name down and number, but it has now been 6 months with no contact from Dalmar. I want to be clear that this review is not directed at Christian as I am not sure where the communication went wrong after my drop-in. But I at least expected someone to give me a call or send me an email after I had made the attempt to deal with the same person I had originally been in contact with (instead of whoever was there), and had come into the dealership to introduce myself before heading back to Toronto. My family and I have been Leavens VW and Porsche customers for 10 years. I have been to the Richmond Hill VW a few times with my Touareg, as well as the Humberview VW in Etobicoke. All great experiences. Every single dealership has at least two people I remember by name because of the great customer service. I am very disappointed in the overall experience, and lack of good customer service at Dalmar.
