Parking was horrible to get out off and none of the doors were unlocked to get into parking. Have to walk all around the building. Police had all exits to 15 north blocked off. Very frustrating

Went to the ZZ Top concert, Aug 17, 2018. Loved every second of it. The Place Bell is super accessible, right next to the Montmorency Metro. Parking in the place, or next door at the Metro.

Only have been here once in the dead of winter. The floodgates are too narrow for the writhing masses itching to get in. I.e long wait. They had some tech blunders during the show which wasn't a one time thing from what I've heard. Hope those issues have been resolved for the upcoming concert season. Will update review next show I attend.

Terrible experience here when the killers performed on January 6th/18. Power cut out three times during the show and the disorganization left people waiting in minus 35 weather for an hour or more

My experience resumes to weekly visits to the bleachers around the Olympic Rink. Clean, comfortable environment, sometimes a bit chilly. Great service from staff overall. Sometimes there's a strong urine smell around bathroom area. Oddly, the bathrooms are located fairly far away from the reception-greeting area, you have to go one floor up (2-floors if you just got there and are in indoor garage).

I attended the Place Bell for the Six Invitational 2019. The venue was spacious and well-located for an event of this nature: it is right next to a metro station so accessibility is a non-issue. The Six Invitational itself looked high quality and the scenography was grandiose, due to the size of the concourse, the event could welcome many people without feeling like it was overly crowded. The indoor parking is also great for cold winter days and not overly expensive!

I've been Place Bell many times for concerts and kid's shows. The place is super clean and staff are friendly. The security is top notch and the food is affordable. When it comes to sound and organization , it's far better than then Bell Center. The stage crew and technicians are extremely professional, organized and ensure the shows start on time. Sound quality is very important to me and the Place Bell always delivers, regardless of the show - the sound is FANTASTIC! I now prefer watching concerts there and I always look forward to having a great time at this venue!

Went to see The Killers, the band was really good but the venue was a nightmare. When we arrived there was none providing information, where to go, what line to go, etc. There was only one entry line outside the venue on a day of -35C and had to wait outside in the line for 40min!. Getting through the metal detectors was a matter of how much you pushed or the crowd pushed you. During the concert the sound was cut 3 times, super frustrating for the artist and the audience. The tickets in front of the scene were numbered with different prices, but once inside everything was open, someone who bought the ticket at 120 was in the same place with those who bought at 90. If you plan on going try to go by subway because the parking lot is a living hell.

Nice venue with great seating where you're not seating one on top of the other. I saw the Jack White concert which both the opening act and his act was way too loud and distorted sound. You couldn't make out the lyrics. I'm hoping that it was an issue with the sound engineer and not the venue.

The venue looked great. If you can't make it to the Bell Center or afford to then Place Bell is a great alternative for shows and seeing The Laval Rocket play. I had a great time seeing Sum 41 and The Offspring and I plan on going to a few hockey games in the near future.

I’ve been to a handful of concerts since they’ve opened, really nice small venue, I just find that they’re super disorganized. There’s not nearly enough metal detectors so when it’s cold out, and there’s only 3 detectors screening thousands of people, it’s hectic. They also open the doors at exactly the time the concert starts so you miss a good part of the opening act. One of my favourite bands came to play at Place Bell (The Killers) and the power kept going off during their set and it made the band super angry, shortening their performance and obviously not giving their usual 100% because of the anger that stems from having their set continuously interrupted. The food and beer is great though, price is high but lower than the Bell Centre so it makes for a good snack. I’ve been for a Laval Rockets game too, and that was amazing. Highly recommend them for a juniors game, super cheap tickets and great atmosphere. I was right behind the glass and I paid $50! Overall 3/5 but the experience depends on the event!

Place Bell proved to be a wonderful event space. The security staff was extremely professional and very friendly. My son lost his phone, security found it and we were able to retrieve it!! How often does that happen in a large auditorium? All of the events started exactly on time and everyone was courteous. I highly recommend this venue!

Very nice new venue. I went for a concert so I don't know how it is for hockey games, but I have to say there are 2 major improvements over the bell center. 1- the seats give you much more leg room, so it's much more comfortable to sit. 2- there are plenty of bathrooms that are easily accessible

Very nice venue, but there was a major need for improvements. My first experience there was for The Killers concert fiasco. I thought it was the perfect size for a concert, and I liked how there was free parking available and the concessions stand was much cheaper than the Bell Centre, but there were lots of flaws in the way things were being handled that night. For example, people who had General Admission Tickets (which were the most expensive, by the way) had to wait outside in line for a very long time in -30 degrees Celsius temperature. I was lucky that I had seated tickets, and could use the other entrance, which had a significantly shorter line inside. The worst however is when the power cut out 3 times during the performance, upsetting the fans and the band onstage (who handled it very well, but you could tell they were aggravated). I do plan on returning to Place Bell, but hopefully they will improve their services after the bad publicity. All in all though, I had a fun time!

We were in Montreal for a few days and had a night to spare. Caught the Metro (Orange Line) right to the end and popped out at Bell Place, home of the Candiens AHL team, the Laval Rocket. Facilities are great, the building is only two years old, seats 10,000, and had everything you would expect from an NHL venue... And the concession prices were also a nice surprise.

This is a really nice place. you can get any tickets and you will have a great view, only two floors therefore even if you purchase the cheapest ticket you will have an amazing view. the only cons I can possibly think about is : the parking could be hell if you don't want to pay , otherwise it's not that bad.. also the food inside could be pretty expensive ( beer also) ,I would highly suggest you to eat next door before

I went to Place Bell for the first time through the Concordia University Alumni Association to see the Laval Rockets play the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Prior to the game we were treated to a speech from Mark Weightman, Vice-president of development & operation at the Groupe CH-Laval Rockets & Place Bell. He spoke about Place Bell, and about what it has to offer. A 10,000 seat cultural and sports complex and venue that offers many different shows along with the Laval Rockets hockey games in the NHL standard rink. The complex is just hundreds of meters from Montmorency metro station. It also has plenty of parking spots either directly at Place Bell or within a few minutes walk. I was certainly impressed. The hockey game was great. It was action packed! Except that we lost. The seats were comfortable with plenty of leg room, and the views of the game were excellent. We ate before we went to the game, but they had a good selection of food at pretty reasonable prices so next time we will just eat there Place Bell itself was large and clean. Even the bathrooms were clean during the 3rd period! If it was not for the alumni association function I may not have ever realized how great Place Bell is, and how much fun a Rockets game is. The game prices are more than reasonable. I will definitely be back.

The arena is nice and new with good seating and good view and have a good amount of toilets. The concessions are really bad though. There was like 5 or 6 people in line in front of me and it took me something like 45 minutes to order a beer, actually I ordered enough for the whole game so I didn’t have to comeback. It’s the cashiers that go make your food and they do only one thing at a time. You have to have someone else to bring the food it just doesn’t work otherwise . Also my cashier had a really bad attitude, never saw a glimpse of a small once and everything you asked her looked to be a burden for her. Also I don’t understand why there’s only one entrance but for 10000 persons it surprisingly worked out.

I went there to see Jeff Dunham. The auditorium is ok, chairs are a little too close (I was sitting besides a plus size lady) and not very comfortable. The sound is good and the configuration is ok. The big problem is getting there, it took me about 25 minutes to park after getting off the highway. Bad signaling, no clear directions.

The facility itself is great... comfortable seating, lots of legroom, plenty of toilets. We found 2 large problems that make me never want to return. First is parking... traffic was backed up and it took 45 minutes from the time we left the main road until we were inside the Place Bell. I'm driving up from the U.S., so I don't know what public transportation there is... if you're lucky enough to live locally then take a train or bus or whatever is available! (I will say that once we found parking it was only $7, which isn't bad for city prices). The second major problem was food... those lines move slower than anything I've ever experienced! There were only about 10 people in front of me and it took 30 minutes to get to the front. That is far too slow. In summary, while this new venue is nice, they haven't yet figured out parking or food. Arrive early and buy drinks & food when there is no one in line. Be prepared to sit in your car both arriving and departing.

Was present for a Laval Rockets game. Modern venue with much better seating space than Bell Centre. Hands down a cleaner, more accessible, more comfortable, better layout venue compared to Bell Centre. Too bad the Habs don't play here, would avoid having all the plethora of downtown unpleasantries (dirtiness, trashiness, traffic, inferior infrastructures, noise, expensive for nothing... Etc).

I know this review is quite late but better later than never. My husband and I went (I believe) the first concert at Place Bell. It was the Megadeth and Scorpions concert. Wow, what a beautiful venue. Like it a lot more than the Bell Centre, where you feel squished in your seat no matter where you sit. I find that Place Bell has better seating and is more intimate. It's roughly half the size of the Bell Centre, so no matter where you sit, it's a good seat. There are sound issues before the start which delayed the concert, which is fine considering it was their first major show. All in all, very pleased with my experience!

Great place for a show, the sound and the lights are great! The medium size arena give a good proximity from the floor to the stage. The acoustic was in point. Close metro station and near the autoroute is a plus. The shows here are a little costly (and obviously anything to eat or drink is abusively expensive) The service was kind but so slow, barely anyone at the line for the coat and it still took 20 minutes! Same thing to get a 4$ bottle of water. Better organization would help. Parking was full fast, could have put signs up so we wouldn't wait in line but instead they posted 2 people next to each other to wave that it is closed. I'd go back but I would leave the car at home and maybe arrive an hour earlier.

Went to see a band here earlier this year and besides best efforts, there were numerous technical issues that resulted in power cuts, forcing the band to restart their set. I don't dread coming back for another show but I'm definitely not stoked either.

Horrible experience. Inadequate signage when you arrive at the center...finally figured out where the indoor parking was and then came the journey into hell. I have never seen an indoor parking that was a traffic jam and why? Because who ever planned this "Place Bell" did it soley for the purpose of making as much money as possible. Cram as many cars as possible into the place...create small passages that though arrows show both directions...you can't have 2 cars in opposing directions flow smoothly! IMPOSSIBLE! And then to access the building????? One door???? One door to come down and One machine to pay for the friggin expensive ripoff price of $12.00 (and let me state that it was indicated $10 but the machine charged us $12..but I wanted to get out of that place asap so wasn't going to waste my time fighting it). And to top it off, those coming in were blocked by those trying to pay at this 1 machine!!! Who was the brain behind this??? Who decided that this made sense? I'll tell you...the rich businessman whose never had to park a day in his life or done anything for himself or paid anything himself, that's who. That same businessman is also a greedy one..how to make as much money off the average citizen as possible. Money grab. And god forbid there'd be a fire in that parking lot? I tell you that there is a good chance you would not get out alive. Before going there this past weekend to see my niece skate, I had purchased tickets to a show that's taking place in a month's time. I sooooooooo regret it. Had I known this, I would not have gone. But after this I will never ever be buying a ticket for any show being held at Place Bell. Never ever again.

This place is great, we often go see the Rockets (hockey team) there, but each time, we have to park the car in the College Montmorency parking, because the one from Place Bell wasn't well done.

We went as a group, the whole company was invited to place Bell to attend the game between the rockets and the stars from Texas. The company rented the whole upper level for the employees including all good concessions. It was great! Was able to meet in person some colleagues as well as new employees. The food was great; my wife and daughter took a poke bowl while my son and i took the hotdogs We also took some nacho bowls with salsa and cheese. Everything was fresh and good. The staff was very nice and kind. Really enjoyed the evening and thank you too Absolunet for having this event for all of us and our families.

I have been here on a few occasions to help with events and concerts. The security staff are friendly and efficient. It's a good size arena, and there is free parking!! It's very clean and new, and a short walk from Montmorency station. The staff are friendly too and helpful.

Been there a couple of time to see some shows so, keep in mind that this review is about Place Bell as a "Music Venue" I know that there were some issues at first with the venue, but two years in, now it's a great alternative for bands too big for Mtelus but too small for Centre bell (who is not a great venue for music anyway). The place have Great sound, much better than the Centre Bell. A lot of space, and the the entering and exit was pretty neat. Cant wait to come back... Maybe for a hockey game, that would be nice :)

Took almost one hour to be allowed into the building, they did not have enough staff or sufficient space to allow for everyone to come in at a reasonable rate. All this in the middle of winter. Would not recommend until they fix this issue. Inside was a somewhat standard arena. Nothing special about it.

Indoor parking is cheap, the food and drinks decently priced.. The only issue is the line/entrance is poorly coordinated. Everyone that came from the door funnel in while everyone that came out the elevator waited in a pointless line for 30min+ Been to 2 shows and same issue for both. Fix that and it would be 5 stars

I visited Place Bell last week to see A$AP Rocky, and while the venue was okay, the accessibility was horrendous. The parking isn’t accessible at all, as it was maybe a 5 minute walk away in -20 weather. There are no lots around that are free, and to get a somewhat decent lot, you’ll have to pay $10.

Very nice new venue. Sound quality and seating was excellent. My advice would be to take the metro there as it is located next door to Montmorency metro and they still have a lot of traffic/parking snafus during a big event. You can lose a lot of time for no reason.

Interesting arena the overall area was good quite a bit of parking and a way to get around I went here for a concert. The issue I had were the classic everything was way to expensive as in drinks and such which I pretty much expected still don’t love it. Second we were on the floor and you couldn’t hear what the person was singing on stage and we were so close. They need a proper sound man or system. Slightly disappointed, wouldn’t mind to see a game there and re-asses the situation.

Terrible time management. Kids hockey games get cut short to clean ice. The previous team went over and you’re penalizing 12 yr olds kids with a minute to go in the third period. There was no game after, no harm to wait a minute. I would not refer to this place as community ice. There’s no concept of that. Horrible, unpleasant experience. Never coming back.

Went there for the Billie Eilish concert. When entering, I was kind of surprised at the lack of security measures, by this I mean that no pockets were searched or there were no detectors installed. But I’m not an expert in security. Clean bathrooms. Great place though no other complaints.

Skating arena with ample stadium seating. A good place to see a skating competition. Not much other than the rink, just a long hallway that wraps around where you can find concessions, bathrooms, and vendor booths. Restaurants a short walk away at the strip mall. Easy public transit access.

Very nice place to see a show. The entry is big and the speakers were very loud. I went to see A$AP Rocky performed with openers like Playboi Carti and Smooky Margielaa and the energy was stunning. The price for the floor was cheap too. Surprisingly, I was able to be right next to the barricade even though the doors opened 40 minutes before I came.

Generally comfortable but it was COLD. Wow! Surprising. And the food. All confessions were the same: hot dogs, beer, popcorn, nachos. Pizza was in a cardboard box and small portion. Smoked meat sandwich was not as seem on the posters. For $8, you get two or three slices of smoked meat. No hamburgers, no tea. Given the frigid Emmitt in the arena, I'm surprised they still any beer at all and curious as to why they have no tea available. There is some disconnect between concessions and customers. The teams played an amazing game! The entertainment is a bit over the top but it's all good. Overusing, it was a fun time and I will go back but the arena needs to bring the venue into the 2020s. Not sure we ask like the 1970s municipal arena amenities for AHL caliber hockey

I went for a punk rock show. Parterre was well set up, with own bar and coat check. Staff was really efficient at the exit. Stage was well placed maximizing room for people. Sound was ok most of the time (considering it's an arena) but it also had a few weird sounding part. However I'm not sure on which part was the issue (musician or local staff).

You are better off park 4 blocks away near Reno Depot/IGA and walk here. Whoever decided to build this goddamn Place Bell here without doing ANY urban planning and ZERO traffic analysis should be jailed. Is a freakin' nightmare to get to this place and find parking. It also caused major traffic jam (10-20min) for anyone who just tries to get to the metro station. Whenever there is an event, the traffic lights within 2 blocks become total deadlock!!!!

i’ve been attending two concerts at place bell thus far; scorpions last september (section 214), and a perfect circle yesterday (section 101). now, I have no idea what it’s like being on the floor so i won’t speak about that. however both times sitting into upper sections, i’ve had the incredible misfortune of sitting next or close to a guy who can't help tapping his feet to the beat to fully enjoy his experience.....and therefore ruining others’!! with the way the seats somehow seem attached to one another inside every row, IT MAKES THE ENTIRE ROW SHAKE. wish i was only kidding. while the disturbance was intermittent during the scorpions concert, i swear to god it has been *hell* during a perfect circle. the guy right next to me clearly had legs jitters and FRANTICALLY shook his legs throughout the entire set. i didn't know how to sit anymore to get comfortable and i almost left because i was going insane. now, i’ve been to dozens and dozens of concerts for the last 20 years, and i have NEVER experienced something like that elsewhere. and it’s truly a shame cuz other than that, the venue is splendid and clean, the seats are super comfy (although i simply couldn’t lean my back on mine yesterday for the obvious reason, ha) and the sound is terrific (way better than bell centre in montreal). but yeah. sooooo. annoying! not sure if i'm ever going back there again...

It's a nice place and a great addition to Laval. There's a lot of restaurants around Place Bell if you want to eat before a concert. I was surprised to see that, contrary to the Bell Center, you can purchase and drink your beer in its original container. One of the only downsides is the parking. Good luck finding free parking around the center. Even if you pay, it's a hassle to get in and out.

We watched the farm team from press boxes there. I couldn't believe how meticulous they keep the ice. The place is ultra clean, modern, well layed out for the fans. I couldn't see a bad seat in the place. The intermission show was top shelf. The place was packed, I bet it is mostly, you get more than your money's worth!

Got locked in the underground parking for hours because the ticket gate would not work. This was for a Paw Patrol show, so there were many kids. Took forever for the firemen to arrive and tell them to let everyone out without paying at the gate.

The Bell Center sucked. They opened the doors late. Most places like the Sony Center in Toronto and the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa both open door so folks can lounge buy drinks and merch. Also when buy tickets if it says main floor and gives you a seat and row, there will be no chairs to sit. Most places like Jarhunderthalle in Frankfurt will clearly state that there is no seating with your ticket at time of purchase and on the ticket itself. Lastly in the common areas there are no places to relax, meet up, and chill. Places like the Air Canada Center have standing tables as you have a drink and relax between sets. Worst venue I've ever been too. Avoid if possible.

I recently saw Billie Eilish at this venue. Absolutely amazing show, but a horrendous day. I have attended MANY GA concerts and this was the most unorganized one I have ever been to. They are very lucky someone didn't get hurt. We had GA and got there at 4am. Other fans had set up a numbering system to assure people kept their spots in line and everyone knew the order fans got there so people couldn't cut in line when others had been there for hours, but the security refused to follow the system so people who had been waiting for 14+ hours had gotten around the same spots as people who were only there a few hours. My sister and I travelled, we live about 4 hours away from the venue and we don't speak a lot of french. If the same applies to you, don't count on getting any information from the security guards because they can barely speak english themselves. When they let everyone in, everyone ran and people were almost pushed down the stairs and there were multiple people who had to get pulled from GA due to panic attacks because of how crazy the situation was. It's fair to say I'll never attend this venue again. So unorganized and unprofessional. Please prepare yourself before you go to a show there, because they sure won't.

Place Bell is a nice, small arena. Seems like every seat will allow you to enjoy the events. I was there for a Rocket hockey game. It was a fun, home town atmosphere. Food was decent and they had good selection of Rocket and Canadiens paraphernalia at the store. Being from out of town, parking was tough, but should be easier next time. I will check out the events when I am in town next time.

I went to the venue for a concert. The actual seating and staff directing you to your seats were really good and the concert was very enjoyable at this location. The major problem was really only with the parking experience. For this concert there were several hired police officers and parking directors yet somehow no one is actually directing traffic. There is several parking lots set up throughout the box stores around the area but no one directing to them. Instead of the officers sending people to these lots, they sit at the corner and seemingly direct everyone in a large circle aimlessly around the building for an hour. We ended up leaving the line and driving into the box stores around the block on our own (at this point it was an hour AFTER the start of the show) and we found that one of the parking lots meant for the venue was completely empty as no signs were posted and not a single parking official had been thinking to direct people to this location. I get that it is cold outside but what are you being paid for when you are supposed to keep traffic moving for an event with thousands of people and no one is being pointed to the actual parking lots and even the parking officials we spoke to seemed to not be clear on where the aimless line around the building was ending up. Despite missing both of the opening acts, we somehow found an empty parking lot on our own (only 10$ and meant for that specific venue) that was a 3 minute walk from the building while there was still a large pointless line leading nowhere of people also missing the show. Absolutely terrible management of traffic

A wonderful, modern facility. Amazing sound in the 8000 seat amphitheatre, reconfigurable as a 10,000 seat main rink. The lighting is overwhelming. The two other rinks are perfect at 500 and 5000 seats respectively. The cloth seats are from a spanish newcomer are very comfortable and relaxing. The free shuttle service from city hall is a great bonus. I hope they install more of these shuttles. This will be a big hit. Congratulations Laval.

I went there to see a figure skating competition. The arena itself is nice, it has comfortable seating and plenty of washrooms. It could have been a wonderful experience... but unfortunately it was spoiled by a nasty and ridiculous episode at the entrance. I had a bottle of water in my bag and the security won't let me go with it. Ok, I drank the water but I refused to throw away my bottle - it's a good quality plastic bottle that I had brought from Italy and I can re-use for months, so why should I? The security first suggested that I bring it back to my car (in the freezing rain!) and then sent me to talk to their supervisor. She explained that they don't want people refilling their bottles since they sell bottled water inside (for 3.25 apiece) - this penny-plain reason. My goodness, people, are you serious?? There are no water fountains inside and the tap water is HOT - so what's the big deal if I keep my bottle with me?? She finally suggested that I leave it at her desk with my name on it and pick it up after the event... which I did but it was soooo ridiculous! After paying 150$ (!) for the day I felt simply disgusted that they were trying to squeeze extra 3 bucks from me at any cost... even at the cost of ruining the customer's experience. Nobody was rude and I don't blame the staff. It's the management and their cheap, greedy approach. Shame!

I went to The Killers concert and I've never seen an arena so disorganized! People had to wait more than 40min at -20C because they had only 6 metal detectors to screen everybody (around 20000 people). No sign indicating lines, nobody to help with information about different lines for different tickets, people complete lost, screaming and pushing the crowd. Worst concert experience of my life. Besides that, the sound had 3 total fails during the presentation. This place sucks! Avoid if you can.

I attended Above & Beyond at Place Bell, the venue is outstanding and big. Enough space between the seats to make you feel comfortable. The only major issue the management should take into consideration is the limited number of parking spaces. Other than that, I do strongly recommend this venue for music events.

The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. However, the event I went to didn't have many decent seats because of all of the extra lighting eqipment in the stands, and the concession prices are far too steep. Moreover, the event was sold out so I couldn't invite additional friends despite the availability of many seats. The entire centre section that required more expensive ticket purchases was nearly empty and housed all of the unobstructed seats. The photos show the seats we had to settle with one day even though the entire central section was nearly vacant. Furthermore, the elevator that connects you to the parking would only bring you up where the media enters so we were constantly forced to walk outside and around the building to enter the event. Ideally, we wanted to leave our jackets in the car, but then to get inside, we had to go back outside after getting upstairs, essentially a terrible track plan. TL;DR--great staff, horrible event experience.

Went to see The Killers there on January 6th and it was the worst music venue experience I've ever had. First off, getting in was a shambles. Forced to wait outside for about an hour for General Admission, while there was plenty of space inside, in -35F (and not like those temperatures came out of nowhere). Even dressed appropriately this was too long. At first we separated into lines but by the end it was a free for all as hundreds of people tried to cram in through the one metal detector they had. Then during the concert, the power cut out on the band three times. Not to mention that the acoustics in there were terrible anyway. Finally, once the concert was over we were booted outside again before we could get a cab. Terrible management and venue, would never go back to see a band play.

Went to see the Paw Patrol show with daughter. Got NEAR venue 45 min early, took half an hour to get around the block. No one directing traffic, people letting passengers out literally stops all traffic. Very poor circulation to get into venue, no security, no signs for parking. Same thing leaving, doors to indoor parking and stairs too small for the amount of people. Decided to eat in reasonably priced tavern, when we left and walked down to p3 parking, door was locked. Had to walk back up to p2 and wind our way down with a small child. Very nice venue, though, but the way and out need to be improved greatly. Despite the fact that we arrived early, husband still missed 5 minutes of show trying to get into underground parking. Not cool.

It a great place to watch great quality NHL/AHL level of hockey. The tickets are all at reasonable prices. The food here is good. The food and drinks vary to reasonable to overpriced. Service at the food conter was ok, not fast but not slow either. A bit lost at times , not knowing the special of day. They need a bigger parking space or else you need to get hear early to get a parking spot or else you need to park far and need to walk a bit to the Place Bell. Overall I will definitely come back here for sure to watch the Laval Rocket play again.

Saw Laval play Syracuse in the third row at the blue line. Seats were amazing and the atmosphere was great for a weeknight game. Food options were standard stadium fare, but reasonably priced - had the smoked meat poutine and a beer and it was under twenty dollars. Conveniently located just a short walk from Montmorency station on the Orange line. Looks like it will be an anchor of a larger retail and hotel development as there is a lot of construction in the immediate area.

Great venue for Rocket hockey, concerts, and other events. Regarding parking, do your online homework in advance so you know traffic in the area is bad, where the parking lots are and most importantly that there is a free shuttle service from Laval city hall parking lot which is also free to park and is only 5 minutes away and is run efficiently to and from Place Bell by the drivers and supervisors from STL. Bravo STL, Ville de Laval, and Place Bell for coming up with this solution to the only negative comment you read about Place Bell.

Do not ever use indoor parking at the venue. There are two pay booths inside the entire building and it took us 1 hour to exit....with kids in the vehicle. Awful.

What an amazing venue to watch a hockey game or take in a concert. The seats are wide and comfortable with extra leg room. Sight lines from the stands are excellent. Concessions are well spread out in the building. Food and beverage prices are reasonable so you can bring along the family! It's like a mini Bell center in Laval.

We went for a rock concert. The good: Easy access, cheap indoor parking ($12), comfortable seats, good size auditorium. No lines at the food counter. The bad: the pizza slice was half crust and overcooked. Sloooow exit, both from the auditorium and the parking but that's kinda expected given the type of event.

This is the worst venue I have ever been to. Attended a show last week (Jan 6) and was made to wait outside in -35 degree weather for OVER AN HOUR. Once we made it into the show and made sure we did not have frost bite on our feet or hands, the band lost power three times, twice within the first song. Would never attend this venue again. Despicable.

This the best venue in the Montreal area to see a hockey game. Every seat is excellent. Lots of room between periods to get a hot dog and a beer.

Traveled here from the Unitex States. Went for a EB gaming invitational event February 14-16, 2020 bathrooms were dirty and unkept no toilet paper or soap to wash hands. Garbage cans over filled and not kept up on. Lines at concession stands were ridiculously long we waited 75 minutes in line for hotdog and under cooked pizza.

We had box seats......took over an hour and 20 minutes to get the wine we ordered. Our group never received the beer or food we asked for after 2 hours....the "private" bathroom didn't have toilet paper or running water in the sink. The concierge was sweet but had to spend her whole night apologizing and trying to reach someone for service. It's cute you think you're A real venue Place Bell.

Very nice venue. Seatings are comfortable and there are plenty of restrooms around the rink. The food venue is super slow during concerts. The worst in any kind. Take the Metro or the shuttle buses if you need to make an easy way out. Otherwise you'll end up trapped in your car for a long while.

Most incompetently run coat check I've ever seen: coats were not organized by ticket numbers and were flung over chairs, tables, and the floor; no one controlled the line so it became a huge chaotic mob of people pressed against each other unable to move; it was understaffed and the staff who were there were slow and clueless. I was near the beginning of the "line" (before it turned into a huge crowd) and it took more than an hour to get my coat - lots of people missed the last metro because it was so slow and disorganized (not to mention a fire hazard/huge risk of a human crush). I ended up having an anxiety attack and it completely ruined any good post-show feelings I had. Avoid this expensive, dangerous, and badly run venue if you can.

Took our girls to see a Why Dont We concert. Our seats weren't the greatest but the kids were happy to be there. About half way through the concert, one of the attendants offered the girls a better seat and gave them new tickets. My husband and kids were able to get pretty close to the stage. This meant so much to my daughter as she LOVES this band. It really made her night special.

It:s this fantastic place with like a million chairs all around a big round spot where a lame hockey team get beaten regularly, or artist do show. It goes like all the way up so you can see no matter where you sit. How much you see if you're way up is a function or your eye sight. Don't buy there unless you like miniature figures! The most amazing thing about it is how they sell drinks, food and trinkets like, everywhere. Actually, the most amazing thing is how much they charge and how many people still buy them; when i went, the guy in front of me called his bank to get a second mortgage just to afford a beer and a hot dog... And could afford both even though the bank accepted! Seriously. Its a freaking arena. Seating is hard, prices care high, sound is not great. But where else ate you going to go.

Horrible parking system. Went to Disney on Ice and there was literally nobody working in the parking areas so it was very frustrating to try and find parking and where to go. The roads were all closed off my police because of the crowd and they were just telling us to go here and there but nobody that was informed was outside to help people. Very unpleasant experience and I probably won't be going back to this place. It isn't set up well to deal with large crowds and parking which is ironic since it's an arena.

Stars on Ice was an incredible show. Elvis and Kurt both got well deserved standing ovations after their performances. I wish that Patrick would also have been recognized for his years of excellence. The rest of the cast gave phenomenal performances as well. I do see this show annually, and perhaps I will get a chance to see this one again this season. A must see event.

Impossible to get around on days where there are events. Parkings are full. Had to cancel restaurant reservation upon arrival because there was 0 parking, even paid, and alot of traffic making it unrealistic to attend our show on time afterwards. This is unbelievable considering this was recently built and they had time to think practical aspects through. The venue and concept themselves are interesting though.

The venue is new and looks very nice. The arena has plenty of space for a good sized show without feeling too crowded. The worst part was security, and it was absolute chaos. The doors opened at 7:00, I arrived at 7:15, and had to wait outside in the line at -21C until 7:55 to get in. They only had 3 metal detectors to scan everyone coming into the arena. There was one door to the outside open, then in the atrium there was nothing to distinguish between the lines to get through security. Getting through the metal detectors was a matter of how much you pushed or the crowd pushed you. If you needed a bag inspected, it looked even worse.

First time being there since it opened ! We went for the Russ show. The organization for the line was a little chaotic. There was 1 line, people had been waiting for hours. 30 minutes before the show they tell us that for the floor in one line and for the seats they opened new doors. People were running everywhere. Food is pricy, but thats to expect. The scene is close, I thing everyone had a nice view from wherever they are sitting !

Don't think this was forgotten, architects and contractors don't forget something like this for a public space, must have been a decision to increase revenue from concession stands. You lose a star. For rock concerts, the sound quality is much worst than Centre Bell. They need to cover the empty sections with blankets (incl pitt) to avoid sound rebounds. This is a very big place. If it's only half-full, the sounds quality is very poor (a lot of rebound).

The best place to go see a hockey game for only 20-30 box you can get good seats. It is really fun to go watch the Rocket. Ambiance is fun and the crowd team is really entertaining. You can win a lot of different prices and it is right next to the underground station.

The olympic ice is wonderful, it is so much more pleasant than a regular hockey ice, they do charge 4$, but parking is included, you can also buy a 10 visits pass for 30$. They are open all-year, schedule may vary, but usually open on both Saturday and Sunday. It is worth a visit.

Went to go see Panic at the Disco, which was a great show, the venue however is terribly organized the show was at 7, there were 2 opening bands, I showed up close to place bell around 6:30 and all 4 intersections surrounding it had lights that stayed red for a good 3 minutes and then turned green for about 10 seconds, traffic was backed up everywhere and nobody was moving, we eventually got to in front of place bell around 7:30, no visible parking and no indication of where the parking was supposed to be until we got to the end of the street, turns out you have to go all around the building, and there's only 1 way to get there, we eventually make our way to the other side of the building after dealing with more traffic, we finally get to the entrance only to be told it was filled at capacity, we are then pointed towards the parking of a mall next door as well as many other people, by the time we parked and got in at 8 there were still people swarming to get in, because they had to go to through the same ordeal, we missed the first opening band completely and got about 3 songs of the second opening band.... while I loved the show, I can honestly say I would not recommend this venue to anyone.

Getting our coats at the end of the show was a nightmare. No line, just a mob and they had maybe 4 people working at the start. They also seemed to have lost many people's things. I was handed the wrong jacket and had to go into the coat check room to search for my own stuff.

Saw A$AP Rocky there and it was amazing! For trap music, the sound was way better than at Drake’s show at Bell Center. As it is smaller, there is less echo and you can better hear the beats. Will definitely go back for a hip hop artist there!
