A Hidden gem in the valley

The par 4 8th was shortened to a par 3 on the day due to a waterlogged fairway. That's never a good indication of the condition and upkeep of a course. The rental set was very old and uncleaned. Be aware that the rental set did not include balls or tees and these are then extra, which means the total cost is a bit too much for a course of this standard. Some decent holes layout-wise, but too many felt slightly pedestrian.

A challenging course, but the winter, racoons and skunks have not been kind to the course this year. But by late spring/early summer, it should be great. We'll be playing in a again in a couple of days.

I had not played the Oaks for a couple of years and was somewhat disappointed by the conditions. Some tee boxes were devoid of grass and greens showed damage and were slow. Still a beautiful course, particularly with the nice colors.

It was a great day of golf at the Oaks of Cobden. In this very dry summer, the course was still quite green and in great shape. The marshall kept the pace of the round at a good speed, and the beverage cart came around a good number of times (4 or 5 times).

Nice course and good value. Tee boxes were in rough shape. Fairways were nice and green a few patchy/damaged areas that don't look like they are fixing. Greens were good mostly green some damaged spots on most of the greens. The greens played fast. Course lay out is great and very scenic and mature course. Pretty challenging with some tight Fairways. Staff were very friendly and they have a nice clubhouse with and upper level all glass looking over the 18th green. Dont think I'd drive there again to play but would recommend giving it a try.

Excellent course with a tough back nine. Staff is excellent. Marshalls are very knowledgeable about the current conditions . One of top 2 in the valley.

I played there the first time last year and loved it. It is a drive from Ottawa center but it is worth a drive . The course condition is excellent and the view is spectacular. If it's closer to Ottawa, there would be a lot more people playing there. Love the vista on some of the high elevation holes.

Oaks at Cobden is in fantastic shape this year!!! Fairways are immaculate and greens are in excellent shape. Super courteous staff!! Lots of sales on clothing in the pro shop!! Great day!! Beer cart out early and really cold beer!! Would recommend!!!
