Much of the time tokens are required to get balls. The owners have not been supplying tokens on a regular basis to the golf courses. I have asked at the Petawawa Golf Course 5 times and only once was able to get tokens. I've asked 3 times at Roanoke and not once did they have tokens. I'm not blaming the golf courses, I'm laying the blame square on the shoulders of the owners of the Airport Golf Academy. I ended up going to the Island Brae Golf Course. They had a nice range with a putting and chipping green. The cost was $9 a large bucket compared to the $8 for a small bucket at the Airport Golf Academy. It's a bit of a drive for me to travel to the Island Brae but it is way less frustrating. I'm not a member at the Island Brae.

I enjoy going here but there is never any tokens at the golf courses to be able to go!! Blaming that all on the owner not the golf courses.

Nice location. Shade from the sun for the most part. Can hit from off the matt to the side for realistic lie conditions. However 1 token is $8.00. I purchased 2. ($16.00) My first bucket had 42 balls and my second bucket had 30. Which I thought was a tad pricey for the amount. I had two very broken balls in my first basket and 1 in the second. The yardage signs are nice. There's an automatic ball dispenser based on tokens. Very user friendly and no hassle. Could gift tokens for a friend and they just show up and go.
