The golf is fine. The "19th" hole clubhouse is less desirable. Awful beer selection, the food tastes and looks like McCain or Pinty's frozen entrées and the service from our waitress was paltry. No friendly demeanour at all and it wasn't even busy! I'll take my golf and post golf meal to Northview. A much classier establishment.

Beautiful golf course, unfortunately the course Marshall (players assistant) ruined our day by harrassing us about being behind on a busy labour day. I informed him we are conscientious players aware of playing ready golf and proper etiquette to keep the game moving. After the 17th hole he came by one more time and I finally stopped biting my tongue and let him know what I though if his harrassing us the entire round and told him job well done we would not be returning to Hazelmere for another round. If only he was that concerned about the greens in such high winds as today. They were littered with debris from the trees. We picked up our ball and put down a 2 putt. We understand he has a job to do but he should be able to realize true slow Play vs a busy holiday Monday. He incorrectly accused me of playing 2 balls at once. This guy should maybe get some glasses.

I've been to Hazelmere a few times in the past, and while I enjoyed the course, I always had some issue with the staff. Well, on my last visit, things had changed, staff in club house friendly and understanding how the course is operating that day. Marshals and starter were friendly and relaxed, a complete 180 from the past, where Marshals always had some way to talk down to you, or even worse, feel like they are hovering around your golf group. While I would like to give 5 stars, I have to knock a star off for the driving range. When I set up to hit a bucket of balls, the stations were set up on what amounted to mostly dirt, making it hard to find grass to hit off of. If they were moved forward a couple of feet, this would be a non-issue, and allow the for the old location time to regrow. As always, an update will be posted after my next visit, and with how happy I was, won't be too far off.

Every year we do the breakfast with santa. The food is okay but what I do love is how the santa and mrs. Clause are always the same every year and every year they give the kids magic rain deer food which my son leaves out for the rainedeer on christmas night to help them fly. ( just seeds and glitter but who can tell when you're 7 yo) . It's a lovely building and the desert tray is great with a chocolate fondue but as for the golf and the grounds i cant really tell you much I'm sorry. Try out breakfast with santa for your kids if you can!

Great course. Layout is good, greens are nice and the course has excellent drainage. Pace has always been good when i have played here despite the course being busy. Grass tee boxes in the driving range are always an added bonus. The restaurant is really good as well. Ive never had a bad experience at this course. Only downside cam be the divots and ball marks. Thats not necessarily the courses fault as much as it is the golfers. I will definitely be golfing here again.

Slowly becoming one of my preferred courses in the area! Playing it more frequently now as the pace is generally good. Staff are friendly and the course has been in really good shape. Prices are a bit steep at $84 mid week but it's 2021 and that's the demand right now. Will be back plenty more before the year is over!

Just discovered this golf course tucked in the back of South Surrey. Visited Hazelmere for a wedding reception and it was great. Each reception hall was had its own building a patio and backed out on to the golf course. The food was excellent! My favourite was the 3 Cheese Lasagna and the ham and I'm not even a fan of ham. The reception room had a open ceiling with wooden beams giving the room a cabin feel. Don't know when I'll be back but look forward to another wedding reception at Hazelmere!

This property is certainly worth a visit. Many different buildings and entrance doors. We found the Main Restaurant and had a good meal. The feeling of the restaurant / lounge is kind of like "Burger Joint meets Good Old Boys Club". The hamburger was very good and I could get a brandy snifter and enjoy the deep cushion chairs. We must return sometime because the daytime view of the woodlands and golfer's though the large windows would be wonderful.

Poor! Golf is an excellent sport, but not when played at Hazemare Gold and Tentis Clubs! Right as I first strolled onto the greesy green grass, I was shouted at! By a little boy, no less! And when I asked the little boy how much playing would cost, he replied with, "a hundred clams per hole!" I paid $1800, as asked, and the little boy immediately ran away! And then when I complained about him to the bartender inside, I was informed that there were no little boys that worked there! I described the little boy, who had pale skin and a patch over his left eye, and the bartender simply said, "Yep, you got duped, my man." So not only does Hazameer have very greesy grass, but they have no idea who works for them! Poor! Bad store! The course itself was fine. The grass became less greesy as the day went on. I had never played golf before playing at Hezelmel, so who knows. Maybe it's a bad game, who knows.

Awful experience playing golf here and it's consistently bad each time I visit. 1) Range balls they sell you are 30-40% old & waterlogged or broken. 2) Pace of play is simply atrocious. 5 hour round yesterday even though we zoomed through the first 6 holes. We saw a Marshall once and instead of attempting to solve anything he badgered us into hitting even though the group ahead was still in range. 3) 30* evening and they close the beverage shack/cart down at 5:00 so no ability to buy food or drinks on the course (teed off around 330pm) 2 stars. 1 star because the greens were in good shape, and 1 star because the food in the clubhouse post round was superb. Maybe that was due to the fact that we were starving...oh well. Overall it's hard to believe that this course has any clue what it's doing and I can only assume that they don't like money.

Great course with good maintenance and good pace, we finished 4 hours 20 mins (should've been around 4 hours but we started pounding balls OB on the back 9) I digress, greens are slower than they look but the upkeep is fantastic given we have had a dry spell for about 2 weeks. Only comment to management I'd like to say is maybe have a water machine near the turn so I can fill up my water bottle instead of forcing us to buy bottled water. I know we are in the era of covid golf but if other courses can do, so can you!

I've been there so many times. The course itself is well managed and in very good shape with beautiful surroundings. And the staffs are very friendly too. BUT! the golfers, specially MEMBERS, who is usually over 60's, have worst manners. As I mentioned earlier I've been there so many times, and almost every time I go there, those old guys who just came for WALKing not for PLAYing golf are keep pushing the teams infront of them very bad. My buddies and I play mid 80's and finishes a round in 4 hours!!!!!

Visit Vancouver several time a year and we meet one of our clients here. Never quite sure why always here, but I digress. The food is always great. For the prices, I would expect a little better selection that what they offer, $18 for a Ruben and fries is a bit expensive, but the food always is delicious and the service is great. It’s also never hard to get a table every time we have been, but it is mostly empty. Overall good.

Hazelmere has become a shadow of its former self. The course is still well maintained, but seems to have lost its sense of customer service. It has gone downhill big time. I’m willing to take the pandemic into the equation, and have some allowances, but I golfed lots of courses in the lower mainland, and Hazelmere is no longer a premiere golf course. Other courses welcome you. Other courses have proper washrooms. Other courses have better kiosk food. Other courses appreciate the golfers who play at their courses. It’s really a shame.

Gorgeous course and country club. I prefer there to be more straighter holes with less trees and winding, blocking the greens, but I'm also a newer golfer so my opinion may not reflect what others prefer. This course had a good mix going on, and was great to practice all clubs.

Such a lovely place! Had the roast beef dip sandwich and it was so tender and fresh. The waitress was great, she's been there for many years. Lunch and service were excellent; it was quiet, we could enjoy conversation and a long visit. It will be our new place to go for our monthly girls luncheon.

I used to play here often as it was great option close to home, has a great practice facility (grass range), and was a reasonably priced. However, this year they have increased the price to play which I believe does not justify the condition or the overall layout of the course (see below). I'm not saying the course is in bad or poor conditions. It just doesn't warrant the price. The course has a weird layout in which includes a back to back par 3 (6th and 7th hole) which can cause a back up and 3 of the 4 par 5s does not allow you to hit driver off the tee as they have creeks that run in the middle (240-260 from the back tees)

Never again, We were followed by players assistant who inspected our cooler to only find soda when he insisted on an inspection. Then he continued to follow us when he did not find and alcohol in our coolers and bags, this was worse that locker check in high school 15 years ago. He also came by on the 8th hole to ask us when we teed off and then tried to calculate how long we were on (it was only 1:35 minutes) to say were playing to slow. He continued to watch us at every turn. I have since told a few people of this experience and found others who have had the same adolescent treatment. We are spreading the word don't go here there are plenty of other great courses to play spread the word Hazelmere is for the want to be rich and famous or as other snobs have said crem de la crem. Let them have it and stay away

Marshall said we were 2 holes behind and told is to pick up our ball Nobody was even behind us waiting. When we started, nobody was ahead of us. When we eventually caught up to the party ahead, it was a single. Worst Marshall ever. The course was nice and so was the range. The Marshall ruined all of that though.

I just had my wedding last weekend and I was absolutely thrilled with the service hazelmere golf and tennis club provided me. From the beginning Claire the banquet manager was so helpful, patient and professional. We shared countless emails and meetings and my husband and I felt so supported. Everything on our day was perfect. Everyone raved about the service and the food. They were so accommodating with so many things from decorating requests, wine delivery, vendor support etc. We had an amazing day and we are so thankful we chose this golf course. I would highly recommend it. I wish I could do it all over again!

How slow could nine holes of golf be? Two hours and forty minutes with only ten golfers in front of us on the back nine. Thank God the "Players' Assistant" came by to "get them running"! Guess what, it didn't work, you left and they slowed down again!! A better suggestion would to force the very slow golfers to let those playing at a reasonable pace to play through. I doubt I will go back to Hazelmere this year. Golf is a great way to spend an afternoon but how do you justify 4.5 hours when there are so few golfers on the course. My advice would be to look elsewhere to play and save the frustration.

The course is decent and usually in good shape but they have a terrible habit of stuffing the course with golfers and no marshal in sight. Expext rounds to take 5 to 6 hours.

I was booking Brunch for Monday at Hazelmere and somehow I unknowingly gave them a one star rating, I apologize for my mistake. My wife and I along with friends, have had brunch there a number of times and always enjoyed it. Food was good, staff was friendly and setting was fabulous. I don’t play golf or tennis so I can’t rate them, but I would give their brunch 4 out of 5 stars.

I play a lot of golf and this was the worst experience I’ve had playing the game. Had an afternoon tee time at Hazelmere around 3:30 PM. After one hour we had only finished playing 3 holes. There was three groups waiting on each hole. This was a 6 hour pace of play, when there is a sign in the pro shop declaring pace of play should be 4 hours 15 minutes. We ended up walking off the course after the third hole. There was no marshall on the course and no starter on the 1st tee box. This experience will be shared with the people I play golf with, it was an unacceptable experience.
