A really unique place to stay. Really great service. Fairview restaurant was good food, service, and really nice art deco atmosphere. Recommend canoeing on the lake and hiking up to the tea house. I think all rooms have no AC, but still a great experience.

We booked a king size bed and we definitely did not get a king size bed. Not really a big deal I guess but we booked something and we just expected to get what we booked. Staff is amazing though. Breakfast is amazing! Will definitely go back just for the breakfast. We are staying at Fairmont Jasper right now and we definitely got a king size bed now, finally!

You have to experience this place to understand it. At least in the winter, it's a true fantasy come to life. The lake...the scenery...the ambiance... Rooms are only a small step above average--but the intimate feel of the place....and the INCREDIBLE sincerity of the staff make it just so utterly fantastic. Food-wise I don't really recommend Walliser-Stube unless you're a fondue afficianado-- the restaurant doesn't offer a whole lot else--but the Fairview was an unexpectedly terrific place-- w/ an outstanding menu selection.

Had the high tea. Great experience, especially if you have appreciation for experiences which include setting ( very elegant chinaware used), view ( 2:00 p.m. was pretty good when the sun hit the outside and brighten the lake and garden), and order. The tea is good quality, the food was good too, but the choices can come across as a bit odd compared to other places ( I think the bread choice for the sandwiches was cornbread?, Also the first time I've seen a jalapeno and cheddar scone for high tea ). Definitely would go again especially if you appreciate tea and views.

Highly recommend staying here to fully experience Lake Louise. You’ll get sunrise, sunset, hikes, breakfast, lunch, dinner all on this gorgeous lake. You won’t have to worry about coming early for parking like many others do in order to come see the lake. I loved the sunrise canoe experience, dining, and accessibility to hikes. It’s nice to rest and freshen up between activities. Shout out to Erica at front desk for being so kind, helpful and pleasant!

The tea was fantastic, great service, amazing food, stunning view. The only downside was the amount required to pay for parking & the time it took to pay for it. Will return for tea again for sure.

Honestly, the view and location is great, however the building and facilities are really dated. It took 10 minutes for the water to warm up for the shower. The heat barely works and the mountains are hella cold!!

Highly recommend spending a bit more for the gold floor experience ???? Make sure to ask for ice picks on your shoes if you're hiking up nearby trails October onward!
