Diane and Chef Daniele were amazing to work with. They made our wedding day so perfect and we cannot thank them enough. Daniele took the time to really get to know us and created a perfect menu for our guests - the food was so delicious and our guests still say they are still dreaming of that handmade tortellini. We are a covid couple (rescheduled our wedding many times) and Diane was so patient, calm and understanding. She is the best in the business! Thank you for making our wedding day so perfect.

Beautiful views all around. Even indoors the windows offer picturesque views of the green. The staff at the bar and the table staff were very well mannered and patient. The food was wonderful ie stuffed chicken breast, salad, penne pasta. Want to add that the salad is amazing and penne better than most places. I loved the added touch of edible flower blossom garnishing the dinner plates. Beautiful atmosphere all around.

The Golf course is great, however every round (even during the week) is over 5 hours and there is no ranger speeding up play. That is the biggest complaint.

Staff is Wonderful, beautiful course layout. Immaculate fairways and greens. Beer cart prices are fair. I deducted a star for noodles being a little too big in the hole and for removing the club and ball scrub on the carts.

Wow, incredible. This venue is beautiful for medium-sized gatherings (we did a baptism dinner here with about 60 people). The staff were super friendly and helpful... And the food was AMAZING. Every single dish we ate was just spectacular. The kitchen staff here deserves a ton of praise. The potatoes in particular were just the best. I'll be back!

Ambassador Golf Club is a very nice venue for weddings, showers, fund raisers and events. It has a lovely room with large windows overlooking the golf course. The food there is really excellent. Chef Daniele makes sure it's all cooked to perfection. There is lots of free parking and even has a covered entrance so that you can be dropped off at the door and not drag your gown on wet pavement if it's a raining.

I love this challenging course. This public course number #2 in the county next to my home club. The course starts off pretty nice but as you progress, the holes become more challenging. I find the back nine the most demanding around. There needs to be a couple of holes with water available

Always a treat to play this great track. Ambassador is a links style course in very flat Essex County Ontario. Course conditions are always great with a very friendly staff and reasonable prices. The course is pretty tough and becomes more so as the winds usually increase throughout the day. A good test of golf on a first rate course.

Absolutely one of my favourite spots to eat, and relax on my weekends. Love this place. Food is great, staff are very kind and courteous making sure all guests are taken care of. The Tuscan grill is also a favorable place to go after golfing. I enjoyed a nice cold beer on the patio one evening with some friends. Catch a great view of sunsets here. All food and ingredients taste quality fresh. Also a great place for family dinners with Chef Danieles 4-5 course Chefs tasting. Thanks Ambassador Golf Club team!

Excellent, well maintained golf course. Staff is friendly and they have put in some great covid protocols to make you feel safe. Greens are quick and don't break as much as you think. If there is wind, the course plays really tough...if not, it is pretty forgiving, especially if the fescue is cut low.

The course itself is great, we'll taken care of, a good challenge and fun. The starter was a very nice guy and seemed to really enjoy his job. The staff working in the pro shop were awful. Seemed like paying for a round of golf was an inconvenience to their conversation. They way overbooked the course, after 9 holes there screen in the cart stated we were over 30 minutes under pace of play. I'd recommend spending your money at another course in Essex County rather than here with the lack of customer service. The icing on the cake was when we got waved off due to bad weather, which is not the courses fault at all, several employees were standing by as the carts were being brought back and none of them offered help on how to get credit for the missed holes. Ambassador is a beautiful course and venue, but spend your money elsewhere for service. My fiancé and I are in the process of planning our wedding, when I got home and told her about my experience, she told me she had a very bad experience while attempting to get quotes for a wedding, and that everyone she talked to acted as if she was a nuisance.

Ambassador Golf Club did an excellent job on their leagues, there were several fun nights during the year and the different games each week skins, closest to the pin, straightest drives were enjoyable. The food at the opening and closing banquets was outstanding.........great job.

Enjoy the golf course. It was in good condition and a fair challenge of golf. Stopped to have a burger and beer after the game, which were great. Service was good and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Great links style course in the heart of the city. Novice golfers beware this course can be tough especially if it is windy. The course is always well maintained which means thick rough, deep fescue and quick greens. Deep fairway bunkers on some holes are also challenging. The clubhouse is nice and the food is excellent. I attended a wedding here and the outdoor ceremony was nice although there was no cover and the sun was quite hot. The reception area was a bit sparse but still looked nice and the food was great.

Ambassador Golf Club is an exceptional venue for any level of golfer. The course is well manicured and always in top condition. The staff in the clubhouse, pro shop and the bag drop area are pleasant and courteous. The banquet facilities are among the very best in Essex County. The golf leagues are professionally organized and very enjoyable to be a part of. Can't wait for the 2020 Windsor Championship!
