This Golf corresponds to the category of Public golf course.
Great staff, Awesome course, course plays tight with some challenges which golf should have, as that what makes the game interesting! Greens are well kept! First time played the course as I came down from London, Ontario to play course and was very impressed!!!
Great disc golf course!
I have been to Foxwood twice. Last year as a volunteer on hole 13 for the Foxwood open and today for a lesson with their Disc Golf Pro Zac Jolliffe. This is a top notch facility for Golf and Disc Golf. The practice area and Pro instruction is perfect for whatever your disc golf needs may be. I feel I cannot give a full five due to my lack of having played the course and only walking a large portion while volunteering...maybe taking a few shots here and there as time allowed between groups:)
Decent layout, 3 different 9's so usually play flows well
Reasonable place ,reasonable price.
Rained out after 2 holes and got full raincheck, nice course.
Too expensive - almost $30 for a single cart? We would have shared a cart but no safety measures in them for covid distancing. Just not worth it, go play Rebel Creek (or a non golfnorth course for much cheaper) instead.
Amazing course, fantastically maintained.
Nice course with 27 holes. Greens in good shape and staff are friendly
Always have a great time here
Interesting course and great price
Course was challenging, quite picturesque, and the staff were polite and courteous. Fairways were in okay condition, not the high quality fairways you expect from a Golf North property. However that’s all the good. The greens were incredibly inconsistent. The tee boxes were the most atrocious I’ve ever played. No maintenance, and horrifically uneven. Not worth the green fee, in my opinion.
3 hour 15 minute front 9, 6 hour round. Pace was unbelievably bad - waiting 2-3 minutes for the group that was 2 tee times ahead of us to hit. Tee boxes, rough are in bad shape. Fairways were good and greens rolled well, some challenging putts. Can't get over the pace, that's unacceptable.
Super friendly staff there and a fair price
beautiful course friendly staff decent foods and very good rates too
Great driving range
Great course! 27 holes
Great course. There are a few challenging holes - the fairways are a bit narrow at times and there are some tough tee shots for weaker golfers like myself. All around worth going. Reason for 4 stars is that it's a bit on the pricey end for the location and quality of course.
Well maintained with a good variety of challenge
Very friendly staff, very personable. Has 27 holes of golf and on the white and red 9's they skirted them with 18 hole disc golf courses. Foods good and the beers cold, come on out and whack some balls, huck some discs or both.
Fun time Golfing here.
Foxwood is in great shape for some fall golf.
We always go for disc golf. It's a lot of fun, beautifully maintained...and beer
Nice and challenging course
Very nice course! Perfect amount of challenge and difficulty. Reason for 4 stars is due to the price being 10 dollars higher than most 18 holes.
I played Foxwood again because of convenience. There was 3 of us, thus I paid full price and my 2 friends save with a voucher. The regular fee of $46.25+ $ 26.55 (single rider)+ tax = $82.26 !!! It was hard to swallow for this price because of Covid !!! This course is not worth it for that. Shape was, the greens were actually nice compare to the rest of the course...tee boxes look like driving range !!! My friends and I will be boycotting Golfnorth properties from here on it if they keep this up !!!
Nice course, greens needed some TLC on some holes. Not overly difficult but still challenging at times. Bring bug spray for the love of God! Also it's a little frustrating that they have disc golf admitted on the red 9 which interferes with actual golfers.
Best kept course around. Awesome rough mowers.
Staff are always good, the course is at the lower end in terms of challenge and condition. But I like to play there a few times a year. Greens are usually the best part of a the course ......tee boxes are the worst I've ever seen.....many are sloped and poorly maintained
Well kept golf north property. 1 of the diamonds in the rough. Very playable yet challenging enough to keep u interested. Greens were fast. Fairways kept well manicured. Lots of options here to play 27 holes if u are up for it. Traps were nicely racked and greens relatively ball digit free.
But of a disappointing experience. We followed COVID protocol as to when to show up but because of new system issues we waited in the Proshop for 35 minutes to check in making us late for our time. After making it to the starter he was really snotty about being late for our tee time. Specifically said “have a hard time getting out of bed” for our 2:00 tee time except we did everything as we were instructed to. Then proceeded to wait another 40 minutes to tee off since there was a 4 group wait on the tee going out of order.
27 holes offer a lot of variety and will keep me coming back. Never crowded/rushed on the tee blocks for other groups. Lots of terrain challenges like water, bridges, hills and plenty of trees. Good chance you can see deer on a quiet day.
A great test of Golf for all levels of proficiency.
I love this place. If you are new to golf or just need to regain a bit of confidence, great place to learn and grow. Also, the 27 holes allows you to mix up your rounds a bunch. During COVID they are taking matters very seriously, and doing a great job. Touchless booking and check-in, good spacing, signage everywhere. I felt uncomfortable going there but even at the entry gate, their team provided very clear instructions on how to navigate the process. Great job team!
Frisbee golfers have no concept of playing etiquette
Friendly courteous staff and great prices. Cleaning is top notch.
Great course. Well maintained 3 X 9 hole courses provide a great variety when playing a full round. Decent prices, tad on the higher side for Golf North properties.
Greens are in great shape. $75 for 18 holes including a cart is a bit pricey.
Disappointing course. Played white-red course. White was brutal, terrible upkeep, patchy greens and fairways. Red slightly better, still not great.
a lott like work hahaha
First round at this track today. Great course. Great folks.
Three nine hole courses, all in pretty decent shape
Love their course and friendly staff
Helpful and friendly staff! Had a great time golfing.
great 27 hole course and always in good shape.
I have played golf here for years and have always enjoyed my experience here, now they have put in a beginner Disc Golf course and have a temporary 18 hole Disc Golf layout on the White 9. It is a fantastic layout and fun. I truly hope there is enough interest to make it permanent and that the golf and disc golf community can make it work together. It only enhances the Foxwood experience.
Good little course and in great shape.
Good course . Friendly staff .but I found it very expensive?.it was the most I have ever paid at any course.
Nice course, well kept, not too difficult but not too easy. Pace of play was good at 4 hours for 18
First time at this course and I was shocked at how good this course is. Completely hidden from the road.. I though it would be a flat cow pasture, but its anything but. Huge elevation changes , each hole is completely different then the …
Nice clubhouse and setting (with the pond).
Well kept course , 27 holes...
Played a round of disc golf around the red course with local legend Zac. The DG course was awesome with a little bit of everything. Clearly marked and well laid out. Definitely challenging, but lots of fun. The fairways and greens of the ball golf course were very well groomed, and all the staff were pleasant to deal with. I will definitely be back for both styles of golf.
The 18 hole disc golf course is an excellent addition. Will be coming back for sure! One of the best course in the area.
Bunkers are cement, should be embarrassed to charge what they do for a round of golf there, in the condition the course is in
Great disc golf course professionally designed. Definitely will be back.
Great course. Well kept. Great service.
Course is in great shape. Staff are always friendly. A great men's league.
This course was an absolute joke. Golf shoes ruined and zero drains are on the course. First tee had a man made lake in the middle of the fairway...either they are lazy or don't care to maintain the course. The round should have cost 5$ not $50. Will never play here again!!!!!
This is a beautifull community, friendly people, with all the amenities provided
Solid course, well kept and decent variety. Personally, I think the fees here are inflated (should be $15 less), but you will have a good time regardless.
Good course, need some shot management. Fairways were average opening, greens were fast. Pin placement was tough at times. There were some tee blocks that were in rough shape but all in all a good course. The 19th hole, servers were fast and attentive.
Great shape ???? friendly staff
All great except the greens were inconsistent. Fast, slow, fast....other than that a beautiful course.
Had a 1:20 tee time and didn't get started until 1:50. Had to wait for a cart. Don't know why as they had 8 there not being used. Maybe just a bad day for them.
27 hols Course is always in great condition, pretty friendly staff and great environment.
Nice course great shape and reasonable
Beautiful course that has three sets of 9 holes. Reasonably priced and fun to play!
Golf North seems to have lost any interest in making this a nice golf course. Carts ride up to greens, t times are packed together at 8 minutes. T blocks are like hills, no Marshall's to be seen.
Excellent golf course
Golf good publicnorth so traps not great staff was great
Good track for the price. 27 holes. Short course, tight with lots of trees.
Pouring rain yesterday and wouldn’t give a rain check for 9 holes. Told me “ you already got a deal”. Paid $45 for 18 and played 9.... 2 stars isnt for that though. 4 of the 9 Greens were piss poor to putt on. Debris all over them. Tee blocks were basically dirt. Traps filled with dirt and rocks. Perfect farming material if you wanted to plant a garden though. I doubt I’ll go back because of the rain check issue. Some upkeep would have been nice in the place. Used to love Foxwood a couple years ago. They’ve definitely let it go.
Really nice golf course
This is one of my favorite courses in the kitchener waterloo area. Played a round today and thought it was in pretty good shape. How ever i have 2 complaints. Either is nothing major. First, why is it so hard to put yardage steaks on the fairway. Steaks make it easier to see and without them you waste time looking for yardage markings. Cant be to hard to hammer in some painted stakes that you see if your ball is off in the fairway. Second complaint was it was 30 degrees out and no beer or drink cart out. Alot of income wasted. Other than than that i really think this is a good course. Very punishing rough.
A Canadian Hall of Famer played here .
Great shape, especially for this time of year
Took 35 minute to check us in. Then the starter gave us a hard time about being late for our tee time. Nice!
Great condition and the course is tough. We had a good time.
The Foxwood folks are doing a great job with keeping things safe and enjoyable for your golf outing.
Good golf course. Kept up well
Was very surprised to see that the course is in very good condition. Bunkers are in terrible shape though. Grass was growing nicely and the greens were fast and cut perfectly. Hopefully golf North takes care of their courses this year.
Well maintained greens and fairway tough lol course.
Meh. Tee blocks were mounds. Hard to find flat footing and the fairways didn't seem much better. Greens were fast. Lots of bundles of branches and fallen trees around. I get the storm not long ago but for a Friday before the first long weekend, I would have expected it to be cleaned up better. 2 roast beef(premaid) sandwiches, 2 chocolate bars and 2 Gatorades cost $22 bucks. Awful cart paths and an overall rough riding course. I wouldn't choose to play here again but it's better then not golfing.
Condition of the course is really rough around the edges and the marshals don't do anything to maintain pace of play which becomes alot of waiting behind hackers. But a great course if you are a hacker yourself!
The temporary disc golf course is a gem. My hope is that there is enough interest for it to become permanent. If you have never played before, you will enjoy it from your first throw.
Interesting course, different each time you play, helpful and courteous staff.
Nice course. Played the Blues to the Whites today and it was great. Bit on the pricier side when you get a cart, but the course has held up and is in good condition this late in the year. Also has a driving range to get a few hits in before you tee off.
No Marshall's to keep the pace up! Tee boxes need maintenance!
The course was in great condition today.
This is a decent course under the golf north properties organization. They have 27 holes. The course is in decent shape.
Tee off times where running on time
Played the white and the red course. We played this course once before it became a Golf North property and we thought it was a gem but not today. The carts assigned were dirty. When questioned the staff said they only clean for Covid, not dirt. We teed off 15 minutes delayed for no apparent reason. The fairways were dry with copious clover. The bunkers were hard with grass growing into the sand around the edges. The tee boxes were atrocious and poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the rates charged.
Great little course. Won't have the distance as others but a few challenging dogleg's add to the fun. Best golf North course I've played!
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Ok course that needs some tlc...
Very nice place well run Disc Golf Tournament.
The course is beautiful Disc golf course. Unfortunately it runs parallel with the golf course. Which is quite close and dangerous at times. The golfers need to be informed to follow golf etiquette with Disc golfers. Busy spot, golf carts make it nice. A few water spots. All around it was great.
Great course with friendly staff.
Course is in fine shape...BUT, arrived for just after 8am tee time to both blue/white already backed up 20 mins behind, asked to go off vacant red but told no because of players coming off the turn. Nobody teed off red's entire time we waited and time taken to tee off (approx 25 minutes). Round took 5.5 hrs because it was so slow...then arrived home to find they charged me $53 for our 4th that was a late cancellation (hard to replace for 8am on hours notice)...on a day that was so slow and backed up already. Also had an issue a couple of yrs prior with honoring a rain check which I brushed off at the time. I have played this course dozens of times, but never again.
