My main goal of attending Gorilla Dojo is to improve my fitness and at the same time I’m interested in learning BJJ. Justin and Nikki are awesome and down-to-earth. They’re very encouraging at the same time understanding of individual differences and abilities. Life may have gotten in the way of getting back on the mats but I always look forward to getting back in there. It’s a great place to get fit, learn new skills and gain friends. I always leave drenched in sweat, with a smile on my face. Gorilla dojo is a welcoming environment for all ages and experience levels. The owners are great and seem to genuinely care about their students ( especially that army of kids!). If this gym has your interest, I'd ask that you disregard any poor review or 1 star rating for they are simply false or written in bad faith with regards to other matters. The dojo and its instructor/management staff are professional, create a positive atmosphere during sessions and aim to help you bring forward the best version of yourself. I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to start attending classes and for this pandemic to end so I can get back on the mats as well.

Where do I even start? The greatest dojo in the North. This place is phenomenal at teaching you whatever it is you want to learn. Looking to get in shape? Gorilla dojo. Looking to learn martial arts? Gorilla dojo. Want to be able to defend yourself? Gorilla dojo. Justin is an excellent sensei, mentor, teacher, and human being. Excellent and supportive team who won’t judge you, and will push you to reach your goals as they reach their own. I’d rate this place 6 stars if I could.
