We were looking forward to a great day on the course at Bootleg gap as we had just golfed trickle creek the previous day and it was outstanding. Unfortunately, we walked in to a mix-up on tee times (after checking our requests once we finished I could see that the tee time was changed for some reason but we were not informed) Our tee time was originally at 9:30 (booked two weeks prior) and at that time, was indicated that our requested time "9:30" was no problem. When we arrived at 8:45 in time to get changed into our shoes..hit the driving range and get a coffee, We were (quite rudely) told "Oh there you are we were just getting ready to put the entire 20+ person group on because you almost missed your tee time. You have to go now or you won't be able to golf today". We told them there must be some sort of mix-up as we arrived in plenty of time, but it was stated simply "no this is your team time, if you want it get out there". Anyway, mix-ups happen so i assumed we had made a mistake, but then we checked the notes sent to our group *immediately after booking on the phone with them and definitely confirmed 9:30* My guess is they had a large group want to book and forgot to tell us. My problem is that we were not given enough time to get ready so our 4th player decided to "go along for the ride instead of golfing because he dint have time to change"..crappy start to the day. Then we get out to the first tee..rush thinking we are so late while the party waiting behind us of a few dozen golfers glared at us for "being late" and PROMPTLY got delayed by the pup in front of us on tee2. We then proceeded to golf a 5 hour game while we waited for 5-10 minutes at every hole (not from the group in front of us, but from the group in front of them..the marshal came around on hole 12 after the group in front of us CALLED to complain but it never sped up. Anyway..night and day from the Trickle creek experience the day before. My game sucked, but thats not why i gave it 2 stars. I give it two stars because the greens were in great shape, beautiful scenery etc.. But the staff were SO indifferent about the problems encountered and so self absorbed in believing that they couldn't have possibly changed the schedule or made a mistake, that I will never golf here again. There are 6+ courses in the immediate area that I am sure would be happy to take the business. Bootleg gap employees. I tried to talk about the experience with you, but you didn't care at the end of our golf game. You simply said (yeah its a little slower today after saying "oh yeah, you are the guys that were late this morning". I don't care who is right or wrong at that point, but the attitude was dripping with resentment. If you dislike your job, get another one! Perhaps confirmation of tee times via text or email could avoid the problem in the future because it is simply a he said/she said issue now. I don't have proof that my 9:30 time was right, but I feel strongly our tee time was changed without informing us after the fact for the large group golfing that morning. It ruined a great (weather) day and a good looking course forever.

Good golf at a nice price. Course is in super shape. Food was very good. Can't comment on greens as they had been recently punched. First time there. I will be back.

Please note that this review is about the nine hole course. It was excellent! Greens were fast and in good shape. Fairways and tee boxes were no different. The holes were challenging. Very happy to find a course that does not ignore their recreation nine hole course.

Fun recreational course we played with my parents. Had an awesome time, it is a challenging but still super fun course. The breakfast inside is excellent, even if you don't play golf come here for breakfast it's so good.

One of our favorite courses to play when we are in Kimberley, BC. Beautiful scenery all around you. Greens are always in great condition and the rates are very reasonable for an 18 hole round of golf. Staff is always friendly and willing to do what they can to make your round great!

Terrific golf challenge and practice facilities. Gorgeous vistas. Great clubhouse, pro shop and super restaurant with outdoor patio. Easy to find in Marysville/Kimberley. Not expensive. Kimberley area has so many A1 golf/vacation choices!! Love it.

All large courses have pretty decent budgets and holes so I review them based on value. At nearly $100 for a round, this course barely gets its "worth it" sticker from me. A couple neat holes and fun landscape. But it's worth it for play time, the large span of the course will have you playing for 3-5 hours if there are people in front of and behind you.

Great course all-around. Lush fairways, mostly straight but provide good challenge. Complimemtary driving range Clubhouse food is tasty, nice pro shop.

Good course, but the scheduling was incredibly tight. There was a massive backup 3 or 4 holes behind us, and as a result the Marshall came to our group 5 times over the course of the round asking us to pick up our pace. We finished our round in 4hr 15, and that includes waiting for the group in front of us at at least 10 of the holes. If you come here on a busy day, expect to get hassled because of their greed. Would be 4* if the groups were properly spread out and the Marshall wasn't annoying.

We golf here all the time but this year the course is a disaster. The greens have been reseeded due to a bad winter and even now at the end of July they are really rough. Looks like they seeded the wrong grass. Could forgive them for this but the sand traps haven't been maintained at all. They have grass growing in them! Water has ran into some of them and they haven't bothered to even take them. There is no excuse for not maintaining the traps

Love this course 9 holes on the baby gap are great for families & learning golfers. The 18 hole champion course offers golfing that is challenging for the more seasoned golfers. The clubhouse & big deck makes for a great 19th hole experience & the food is awesome!! The staff in every department are knowledgeable & experienced!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. The facility and the course itself were great. The course was a very friendly layout allowing for multiple ranges of golfing skill. There were no two holes that looked the same and the conditions were unreal for a late season round. I will return to this course the next time I am in the Kimberley area.

If you like geese you will love this course. Unfortunately I’m there for golf. The course is a 5 star rating all day long if they get rid of the geese. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are pristine. Just need a map to dodge goose droppings getting to your ball. The geese are real bad on a couple holes and they congregate on the greens. Makes it hard to putt. Get rid of the geese and we would be back. Trickle, Shadow and Wildstone don’t have this problem.

Very disappointing-Course was very nice-- however we felt cheated . There were11 of us who golfed July 25th.We all paid to participated in the Telus Shootout. We were all told that there would be plenty of time to finish our round and make it to the shoot out if any of us qualified.We were told that the shoot out would be at 8:00. While on the course one of us received a call and was informed that he had qualified for the shoot out.Again he asked what time he need to be there, again he was told it would be at 8:00. We finished our round at 7:15 and when we went to join the shoot out we were informed that it had already taken place and were too late. We all wanted to support the charity but why would they still have the Shootout open when there was no way we could of finished our round and made it to the final , and why were we told it was taking place at 8:00 ? Very Disappointing-It's like buying a lottery ticket and the draw has already taken place.

My wife and I had booked a twilight tee time. We were there early to hit a few balls at the driving range. When we pulled up at the first tee, we were greeted by the marshall. We had been paired up with another twosome and they were late, so we were made to wait. The marshall was a nice guy and told us about the course and gave us a rundown, all very informative, but he should have just let us go ahead. Waiting just made us feel rushed from the start. The course was fun, and was well manicured - beautiful scenery. Can't go wrong for the twilight price (with a cart and bucket of balls). 5 stars if they spread out the tee times a few minutes more - we're not all scratch golfers!

We went for a fathers day brunch. I was hoping for something a little more special than we received. The service was really slow considering they weren't anywhere near full, there wasn't any to greet you when you walked into the restaurant so you didn't know whether to just sit anywhere or wait to be seated, and it just didnt live up to the hype I'd heard.

Course is looking good after some issues with the greens last year. The crew have done some amazing work getting them to where they are this year. Great layout and some very scenic holes make this a must play course. Bootleg is always on our list when we go out to Kimberley.

All I can say is I won’t be returning this course! I golf out of trickle creek normally. Decided to take my nephew here because it was an easier course. The course marshal was down right rude to us! We were waiting every tee shot for the group in front of us. However he accused us of being slow (just because there was a kid with us). He was very rude to us and used rude language. I am trying to get my nephew into golf more and the whole experience was disappointing to say the least!
