It is a nice course for the money. Wide open fairways not much water, all the holes are straight so not all that challenging. I enjoy paying there once in awhile.

I would rate this as one of the best city courses. It is very walkable, and a very forgiving course. The train bridge hole is cool too. No water makes for a pretty easy course

Never coming back, 3rd round in a row waiting behind multiple tee times. It shouldn’t take 3 hrs to play the front 9. Figure it out and don’t over book the course, not that hard. This place sucks.

In excellent condition ???? Reasonable rates for 18 holes . We went early Monday morning, a little slow especially for a wide open course. It's to be expected if you are in a cart and the groups ahead of you are both riding and walking. Should never expect a quick round on any golf course anyways. If you want a fast round , go on a course that's not busy ????????

Friendly staff, unique setting. We played this course July 8th 2017. The course was in ok shape, the tee boxes look well used are were very dry! The greens and fairways however were in great shape, considering the lack of rain. The clubhouse staff were very friendly! I loved the large trees and ample shade available on the super hot day we were there. #10 hole is a very picturesque and unique having to play over, or under in my case, the old rail bridge. The worst part by far for us was the awful smell that blew across the course all day from the sewage treatment plant across Main St. I realize this isn't the courses fault but it was distracting from the rest of the beauty on the course all day.

A Winnipeg tradition. Although it's not the most challenging or best maintained course in the city, its still fun to get out and play the old grounds. Usually a very busy place due to its location. Nice staff and decent food / bevvies for post round enjoyment.

The course is in good shape. But the facility is run badly. The Marshall will not make slow groups play faster . When u tell him the group in front are taking 20 mins a hole he says what do u expect its the weekend at kildonan. The cart girls have no etiquette. All in all not a fun 5.5 hours. I loved this course but they have these slow players every weekend that has ruined the course. And these little players no who they are . Kildonan sucks because of them. 2 stars

A decently maintained public course. Maybe it was because it was the first day of the season, but it took 5.5 hours to finish 18. Very slow and backed up on almost every hole.

Fantastic place in summer to go swim, run ,rollerblade etc. Feed ducks in duck pond or go to a musical at rainbow stage.. beautiful flower gardens throughout as well as lots of park space to have family picnics..new pool very attractive with slides and beach like enterance.

The work being done on the course is showing. Greens are very good. Fairways are becoming more challenging as tree plantings mature. TeeBoxes have come such a long way from the rubber mats. Very happy to keep coming back. The electric cars could be cleaner though between users.

The course has been home base for 15+ years and despite living in the complete opposite end of town when I think of golf it is the first course I think of. Well designed for the average player and a pure scoring course for those above average. Play, drink, enjoy life.

The course was well kept considering the lack of water we have had this year. Management however is absolutely horrible. I dont golf very often and it ruined the experience for me. The Marshall by the name of John was rude and felt the need to keep bothering us as we played. We spoke to the manager and he just kept deflecting the concerns we brought up.

Can be a quick course. Straight fairways and fast greens. Can be over booked on weekends.

The course is nice, however, the play is extremely slow. I got to the tee box on 13 and there were two groups waiting to tee of, not including us. It was congested for the rest of the round. I am not a pro golfer by any means but when play is that slow, someone should be telling the group(s) slowing people down to play a scramble for the rest of the course or let all the other groups pass.
