The course is fantastic and one of the best in Manitoba; however, the customer service was frustrating. We showed up 20 minutes early for our tee time to discover the club house gave our carts to the tee time AFTER us who showed up even earlier. When we asked them for clarification on this decision, the gentleman in charge of distributing the carts literally shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

Course is in great shape. We played (walking) 18 holes in 4hours and 7mins. Tee time was 7:45am. The "Marshal" was rude, came to us twice to ask us to pickup the pace of play. Threatened to make us pickup and skip a hole. Management has always been rude, no view on customer focus.

This might be the best golf course Manitoba has to offer. Every year it is in pristine condition and this year is no exception. The green are fantastic. Fairways wide and well maintained. And the trees and scenery just stunning. Top that off with a brand new clubhouse, what more could you ask for?!

An out of the way spot to eat. Large servings. Old building and set up. View is the golf course. The food tasted good. Be sure to have an unlimited time allotment for lunch. The place was not very clean. More of a lounge atmosphere. Odor of washroom in dining area.

Falcon Lake Golf Course is a well-rated and pleasantly testing layout. This tree-lined parkland course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Falcon Creek, which winds through the centre of the course, is a water hazard on nine holes, widening at one point to form a small lake on the 12th hole. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

My "Home course" first place I ever play. Pleanty of special memories for me here. A gorgeous new club house has recently been build, which really elevates the feel of coming here. Each hole has always been meticulously maintained with challenging bunkers and water features as well as some of the longest fairways I've seen. Highly recommend taking the day and coming out.

Just 90 minutes from Winnipeg, this course is a gem in the heart of Manitoba cottage country. Book well ahead of time because tee times are always full on weekends. Course is always in excellent condition and the greens are always in amazing shape.

What a nice place to play golf!! The restaurant staff was friendly over breakfast, pro-shop staff was cordial and the starters/Marshalls were very friendly and helpful. Well done to the HR staff. The course itself was in really nice shape, greens, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes were top notch. Course set-up was interesting and the combo tee box made it fair for me and my playing partner (both at different stages of our game so while I found a few holes short he did not); you have to be prepared with a good short game if you play the combo set-up. One key point I have to make is that somewhere out there behind us was an extremely honest 4some who found my playing partners credit card in the grass and the Marshall found us and a disaster was averted!! We did buy them a round and I hope the good karma paid off for them and they played that they played well!!! If you get a chance play this course!!

Played Falcon a week ago, the course was in immaculate condition! The grounds team does an excellent job, the best condition of a course I have played this year. I would agree that this is one of the top courses in Manitoba. If you are a beginner I would recommend not playing during peak times as it can be a challenging course.

Sept 5 2019 - Awesome day of golf at one of the best golf courses in the province. Played 36 holes! Conditions were outstanding with nice fairways and quick greens. Always love coming back to Falcon Lake!!!

THIS IS ABOUT THE RESTAURANT AND NOT THE GOLF COURSE. The food and service was lovely. The waiting staff were nice and there was little wait at the time I came at. However, the portions sizes for the food were a little large for my liking.

Falcon is noted as one of the top tier golf courses in Manitoba and is considered long by many. It offers a good challenge to all levels of golf skills, even the highly skilled. They have a new clubhouse, which is beautiful and a very good food and drink offering. The course is located about 1-1/2 hours east of Winnipeg, and if you don’t have accommodations, there are two hotels. 1. The Falcon Lake Hotel and 2. Big Buffalo Resort. If unable to stay at either, there is the Keystone Resort in West Hawk Lake, which is 10 km further east from Falcon Lake.

This is the first time we’ve golfed here since the new clubhouse and restaurant were built. The place is very nice and the course in great condition. I’ve given this review a rating of only 2 stars as a result of the way we were treated upon arrival. My friend and I golf in Winnipeg at least twice a week. It’s always just the two of us. We’ve never had a problem until now with bookings. The starter insisted we booked as a foursome and twice said the other two (whoever they were) were a ‘no show’. He was rude and would not let it go. Then asked how we felt about being paired with 2 other golfers. While we said we prefer to golf just the 2 of us we had no problem if we were paired as we’ve done this in the past. Then he said ‘I’ll let it go this time ‘. What a way to start a beautiful day of golf on a great course. How rude. How unwelcoming. Never ever in all my years of golf have I been talked down to. And BTW even though we’re 2 senior women we kept up the other golfers in front of us at all time.

Very serene course that wanders through the forest. The fairways are wide so you have some room if your drive stays left or right from time to time. The greens have some slopes and are challenging. The course was in great shape when I played it in early July (2018).

Probably the best condition of any course in Manitoba. Lush, green and awesome. Played tough the others morning with humidity and well watered conditions. Loved the challenge, and can hardly wait to next week end to play again.

Very nice new clubhouse and the course is always kept in mint condition. Rates are becoming a little steep, but the quality is there so can’t really complain. Not an overly challenging course but there is enough variation to keep it interesting.

Love this course. It’s always in great shape, this year more than ever. I just always leave it feeling like they’ve tried to pinch every penny out of me. I walked (they charge for pull carts) , I’ve played about 10 other courses this year that have never charged for a pull/push cart. Unfortunately our round was rained out which I assumed we would get a full rain check. We go in and they somehow deduct money from your rain check for the amount of holes you played. I paid $45 (twilight with a push cart) and left with a $30 rain check. We didn’t even finish hole 4. $15 for 4 holes?? It’s disappointing. The course itself though, immaculate shape.

Beautiful course terrible service, showerd up 20 minutes before tee time, no carts available, gave them to the group after us because they were there first an ended up waiting 15 minutes for more carts. Course was super slow and Marshall came up to us and blamed the females in our group for slowing up the course even know we were waiting for every shot because of the 4 drunks in front of us that had already let 3 groups pass.

Beautiful condition. Very gracious and helpful staff, immaculate greens. I'd swear the same deer fly followed us the entire round! Great choice for a players track. Don't miss the fairway.

Really gorgeous course, but we were followed around insanely closely by the course marshall. We were playing best ball, and I was only playing every second hole while my party played all. We’re not great golfers, but we were not taking our sweet time. There was no one directly behind us that we could see, waiting to tee off. I ended up jogging between some of my plays because we felt pressured to play through incredibly quickly. In the end, it only took us just over 4 hours to play 18 holes. Although I appreciate the chance to spend time with my family in the whiteshell playing a game of golf, the whole experience was rushed and made rather unpleasant. If I have a choice in the future, I will not be coming back again. I would suggest to management to set aside times for private members to play, and then open times for others if we cannot meet their standards of play.

I’m a beginner golfer. While golfing with my experienced partner we were approached by the Marshall multiple times to “pick up the pace” and were told “you should be done by now”. By this point we had even joined up with another couple while I had passed holes entirely to speed up the process. I wouldn’t recommend this course for beginners.
