Here you have the feddbacks of people who are consuming the products of Tower Ranch Golf & Country (Golf) in the territory of Kelowna (Canada).
Right now this firm gets a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and the score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is quite good, and it's founded on a very large number of reviews, so we can think that the valuation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
great view, food and beer are just ok
Excellent experience. The course is incredibly well kept, and in great shape. The greens are tough, but hitting approaches off of lush fairways mean you always have the chance of getting closer to the pin. Views are incredible as well. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. My only criticism would be a few of the bunkers were like playing off a cart path, which is fine so long as you know ahead of time.
Tough Track. Beautiful scenery.
I can only relate my experience at breakfast. I did not golf here. Breakfast began with a disinterested server who ushered us to a table and promptly disappeared. The menu offerings are standard fare and the resulting output from the kitchen was underwhelming. I would venture to say there are small family-run restaurants who could teach this place a thing or two about service and quality. Clients and/or visitors don't care how difficult it is to find quality staff or service is slow because someone didn't show up for their shift. Nor do we want to be subjected to 'soft opening' snafu's. That's your problem. See you in 6 months, maybe.
Very nice setting, layout, condition. Smoke from fires took away some of the scenery however, still awesome. Must be on another level when blue skies are evident.
Very nice, well up keep courses
Beautiful Golf Course very well kept. very friendly staff We golfed 18 holes we were very well looked after very challenging course so of course everyone should try it blessings on your journey in the World of Golf
Great course very challenging. Both fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Normally a good pace of play 4 - 4 1/2 hours.
One of my favorite courses I have played in the area. Challenging and fun with unbeatable views. My only complaint is that there is no driving range for warming up. You need the get off the tee well at Tower Ranch and that's hard to do cold.
Great golf club..very tough holes
Beautiful course! Best views in the Okanagan.
I've never actually golfed here, only skateboarded on the golf cart trails. 10/10 Skate Spot
Amazing view, delicious food and friendly staff
Best views in Kelowna.
Extremely rude marhalls. On two occasions were accused of playing too slow yet no one behind us, other than the twosome we let play through on the third hole. At the turn, the marshall accused us of taking 2 hours 50 minutes to play the front when we were done in an hour ten. He then proceeded to tell one of the members of our group how etiquette works and that a golf course is like a single lane highway, blah blah blah. He was still talking while we were trying to hit our tee shots on the tenth hole. Talk about etiquette. The starter also talked to us like we'd never golfed before. The beverage cart doesn't move on this course either, it is only available between the 4th and 5th holes. There is also zero access to water or a beverage cart on the back nine. Thankfully, I've played it half a dozen times and was able to warn my playing partners who were from out of town. For the price, there are much better values, and a much friendlier experience, elsewhere in Kelowna. It's too bad, because the course itself was in beautiful shape.
Everything is excellent except for the greens, they are very tough, no straight putts.
Tough course
Best place to have lunch and enjoy the view
Epic!!!!!!!!!! Great golf course
If you like golf, you have to gold this course. Especially if your a lefty. So many fun holes. Not too punishing but very well designed.
Beautiful course, tough rough very playable.
A challenging course with lots of ups and downs. If you're looking for big, flat fairways, you won't find them here but the fairways they do have are in terrific condition. Same with the greens. This course is very well taken care of. Give it a go if you're up for a challenge.
Nice golf course.. fun swings along nice mountain views
No Driving Range. Bring your A game this course is open but has a lot of challenge. Beautiful scenery and elevation changes. Only a couple spots that houses are close.
Tough golf course - in excellent shape
Fantastic course with fun holes, golf carts with a tablet GPS and scorecard, and I have been to most golf courses in the okanagan, tower ranch definitely has THE BEST VIEWS while you play any of their holes!
Breakfast and lunch are very good at the club. Greens are in pristine condition. Tee boxes are set up for all levels of fun. Bring the big stick as this course plays 7212 yards from the tips. 5489 from the reds. Overall a great viewing opportunity with wildlife opportunities on the back 9. If you enjoy the condition of your clubs stay out of the creek. Cheers
Love this course
(Translated) Great course on the mountainside (Original) Super parcours a flanc de montagne
Such an amazing course. Keep it straight.
Scenic but way too tough!
Excellent course with great views.
A very tough a challenging track but gorgeous and well maintained. Don’t expect to go low your first few times playing it. I enjoyed it more after I got the layout and greens.... you have to play it about 4-5 times to shoot your HDCP usually. Don’t play it unless you’re up for a challenge. Pristine thou. ???? Pro shop staff and Pro were just ok. Back shop guys were great! F and B staff were very nice.
Attended a wedding here recently. The views are absolutely stunning! The staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Great views. Unique track
This is truly one of the best tracks in all of BC. I rarely write reviews, but for this one I just had to. Couldn’t believe I’ve never played here before - I guess it was missed in the Okanagan “usuals” (Predator, Bear/Quail, etc). We took a photo on almost every single hole - it was that picturesque. Love the golden fescue contrast everywhere against the dark green grass. Greens were impeccable. Rolled very true. Absolutely stunning track and will most certainly make the trip back from Vancouver. We loved this golf course and can’t wait to play it again
Always a good challenged round
Nice track up in the hillside with great views. The greens are very demanding from all angles. Very nice staff and the course was is great shape.
Want a challenge, play this bad boy from the tips.
Nice and clean
Great course and the nicest golf carts with one rather important flaw to know about. If you casually slide out of the cart (which we all do) you will end up with a massive bruise on the back of your leg. There is a bar that your leg ends up sliding over that does the damage. Both drivers in our foursome ended up with the bruise as seen in photo. Easily the nicest carts I’ve ever used in spite of the injury. I do apologize for the graphic unsightly photo ????????♂️
Always a pleasure
Hit some balls, lost some balls. Had a great time here! Will repeat.
Nicely manicured course, however greens were overly challenging with slope. Well hit shots often rolled off the green (over half the holes). Didn't make for a fun round of golf and won't be playing there again. The course was empty compared to other top area courses and so I think others agree that this is one to skip.
The course was challenging but I highly doubt this is the best golf course en Kelowna (although I haven't played others). Too many people and waiting in each hole had us double our regular/usual 18 holes time and that wasn't enjoyable at all. There was construction next to the course so that took the relaxing nature scenery out of the game with all the noice. I will not return to this course, maybe it was a bad day but that's enough for me to search for alternative golf courses in Kelowna. Oh and remember to stay alert for the black bears.
Beautiful course and maintained at the highest level. Amazing lake and city views.
Haven't actually golfed here, but I drive up to this spot all the time because of the spectacular views of the city of Kelowna and the Okanagan Lake. Day or night, very nice quiet spot (95%of the time)
Just golfed Tower Ranch. What a great golf course. Layout was amazing. Awesome conditions. Greens were challenging. Would encourage anyone wanting a great day of golf, no matter what the skill level, to make Tower Ranch a must stop.
Great time at the course. Discount rates a lil because they punched their greens. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend.
challenging course built into the neighborhood, but spaced out enough that you're not at risk oh hitting property. Fairways were well kept. They had punched the greens earlier in the week, but provided a $30 voucher which was nice
Recently I had the pleasure of playing this beautiful course in Kelowna. Be sure to spend some quality time on the practice greens before you play. The course was in great condition. Friendly staff. The restaurant food was sub par. That is the only reason why I did not give 5/5 rating. I will definitely be planning another trip to Tower Ranch in the future!
Great place to golf and the new neighborhood is going up fast.
Fun, challenging course. Conditions today were top notch.
Beauty course, amazing views, in great shape. Tough course, but amazing to play
Amazing course My favourite in BC
The best public golf course in the Kelowna area. Great views of the city and valley. It’s a challenge with fescue lined fairways and quick greens. Carts don’t have gps screens so bring a rangefinder
Great course!
Went for a drink with a few friends. The patio view is beautiful.
Tough course with great views.
I have no problem giving the 5 stars and I think my friends think same way. The great view along with very nice people and food just make golf as beautiful as we give the meanings to the life.
Not for the beginner golfer. Great views and a fantastic/challenging course.
Absolutely perfect day on the course.
Very good service, course is a little lack luster
Beautiful course. Great staff
Wow
Very friendly staff and the course is in great shape. The only downside is how hilly this course is. Every hole has massive elevation change. No chance walking
Great location for a wedding.
Great views. Challenging course.
Great golf course.
Nice sunny and green
Very disappointing staff Christmas party at Carrington's. Horrible food and service!!
Beautiful place. They have fun course with some unique holes. The prices are surprisingly fair and the staff is always helpful and accommodating
Beautiful course but challenging. Amazing views from all over the golf course and nice to see wildlife (deer) roaming in the hills. Service was fantastic and speed of play was very good.
Course was in fantastic shape. Great staff and facilities. Front 7 holes were enjoyable. The course starts to go downhill based on design. Too much design school used on each hole. False fronts. Watched two playing partners hit great wedge shots into 10 only to slide off the front and leave a brutal pitch from 45 yards. How too create slow golf perfected. OVER DESIGNED....Not sure what is being attempted here but I would gather repeat play will be a constant issue. Sad because it has some very nice holes. Give me a traditional golf layout any day.
The course is very challenging. The day we played it was cart path only and very wet. The fairways were sloshy. It was a lot of walking. I'm assuming it would be better later in the season but for us cart path and wetness was a disappointment.
Beautiful and very challenging.
Great place for dinner or lunch. Arguably one of the best restaurant views in kelowna.
Great course, very challenging.
Wicked views and great conditions make this course awesome.. But it lost points for me with Marshals who pushed you along.. I don't think this is warranted when paying higher golf prices.. To be fair they were very helpful in laying out the course and how to play.
Amazing golf with an amazing view of Kelowna HIGHLY recommend this area for tourists and people looking for something a little different
Located on hills above east Kelowna, near the airport, it boasts a beautiful clubhouse with dining room, and a challenging 18 hole courses with elevated tee boxes and spectacular views.
Very nice weather up there and good for walking
Great course...very challenging...staff was friendly and the food was great. Will be back.
When this course opened they failed to pay the a lot of contractors that built and outfitted the clubhouse. They simply opened under another company name. So please sit on the chairs they got for free, and enjoy the blinds they never paid for and the beautiful leather furniture they never paid for and most everything else there that they got for free from area merchants.
Extremely challenging, first time I had played with rentals and it was a difficult day golfing. I would definitely love to play again, but would want my own clubs. Rentals were too notch, just not my clubs. Great views, tough holes great course
Had the best lunch today at the restaurant. Great view, great food and a lovely waitress. Will go back for sure!
Was smoking hot but staff were great. 44 degrees is to hot to golf we found out but just love the course. Will be back for sure
Service was very slow and the food was just ok.
Very well maintained. Nicest fairways I've ever played on. Top notch course.
Great track. Conditions, food, service were excellent. This is a really good test.
Great views and very challenging course. I always look forward to my rounds here.
Beautiful area
Awesome
This track is in great shape. The greens are rolling at 9.5 so bring your A game. There is sand in the traps. Lots of elevation changes, so needless to say club selection is very important to score well. Charge your gps watch or lazer as they don't have gps on the carts. All a round a professional run course. Played it back to back and got my butt handed to me, but I will be back to try again.
We had a great day golfing...and being a Okanagan residents did have to pay full price which makes it even better. Stunning views.
Difficult course well-groomed. Good food in the restaurant friendly service. Lots of parking
Didnt golf there but at 8:30 this evening my husband and I took our kids up to sit in the upper parking lot to look at the city view but one of the employees wasnt happy about it and called their security company to ask us to leave. I thought that was odd since we werent causing any trouble, only spending family time overlooking the city. We were told if we werent golfing there that evening that we were not welcome to stay.
Amazing service. Casual and beautiful view of the city below. When it got cold, the manager came around giving fuzzy warm blankets and turned on the propane heaters on the patio. Delicious food. Simone menu but there's great drink deals and a daily chef special.
Was looking forward to playing this again ,me and my playing partner pulled into the bag drop and realized after unloading our clubs that no one was there to greet us, we had to go to cart area to get an employee to let him know we arrived and needed clubs loaded up . Green fees for non local residences was $99 plus taxes ( $79 for local) , for that we got a cart with NO ICE in Ice BUCKET, and when we get to practice green , we noted they had been punched a week prior , yet when booking no one mentioned . We saw one refreshment cart on between holes 3 and 4 ( sitting there waiting for groups to come through ) but no one else all day . Overall course condition other than 1 week old punched greens at full tilt price was like the place is running out of money to maintain its facilities. Not only punched greens but sanded approach aprons which literally stopped you ball on a chip . And here is thing that topped it off. After the round , employee stops us and says leave your clubs here, I will clean them up and bring them up top. 3 minutes later, clubs up top waiting , but none were even touched with respect to cleaning. I am disappointed for many reasons , full green fee charge with sub par conditions, minimal employees to provide the service this course is charging for . Won't be back . I suggest you do your homework before visting this course to play.
Tough course, amazing views. Worth checking out when in Kelowna but don't expect to shoot your best score here.
Great course great day
It's nice
Just had a meal at Carringtons. The view was fabulous and the drinks good. The food was subpar. In our group the orders were completely mixed up for 4 out of 5 orders. The burgers arrived without cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce. The Caesar salad side was delivered as yam fries. The other Caesar salad was served without dressing and when they corrected the missed Caesar salad it was also served without dressing. The Cobb salad was served without the egg. Overall...it was terrible. So sad to have such a great location and have such disappointing food. This is so disappointing as we live in the area and would love to support this restaurant, but sadly it was embarrassing to take guests there.
Great service and the golf is challenging
My second favorite course in the interior after Predator Ridge. Better value for the dollar though. Fantastic views. Massive elevation changes. Bring your A game.
I played the course in late September and it was spectacular! Some of the truest greens I've putted on. There is a lot of construction and development happening all around the course and it can be a little distracting and an eyesore. But you can't stop progress. 5/5
Great place for food and a cold drink staff are fantastic
What a beautiful place and the staff are so friendly
A very well layout and well kept course. A bit of challenge but fun to play.
Golf good need to work on restraunt food
The course is an amazing design but!!!! When you get charged 250 bucks summer rates for 2xpeople the course needs to be in summer conditions. Its in spring conditions. Wet and muddy. Not pleased I was charged that amount not worth it right now. Tho the course is a great design
Lots to enjoy at this course. Great views and challenging layout that punishes errant shots with deep deep rough. Won't be playing here again though. Although the greens look good they're absolutely crazy. Perhaps suitable for tour pros, but nearly every green is unmanageable. I'm always up for a challenge but the slightest touch will send the ball off the fringe... Spoiled an otherwise fun round.
Beautiful
The front nine is is good shape, fairly consistent with fair views of your approach shots and consistent greens. The back nine however is a disappointment with very irregular greens and a lot of blind approach shots off hard pan fairways. for the bunkers.....if your going to have a bunker, remove the large pebbles and rocks so a person doesn't have to destroy his clubs. Highly overpriced, no driving range. the views are houses....nothing to see here. 18 is a terrible finishing hole. Number 1 is a great start. just my thoughts and FYI.....I had a great game but would never return for the price.
Carrington restaurant at the Tower Ranch Golf Course, currently open for Nov and Dec., to see how well it id received in the community.(bit of an experiment)...They are open for dinner Friday and Saturday evenings with a 5pm and 630pm seating. Reservations are required and Covid precautions are in effect. Black table clothes, linen and glassware really set nicely.Tonight the meal was fabulous, the service really good and very friendly. This was our second visit.. Please support this restaurant, cause if we don't it won't be back next winter after the golf season is closed for winter.
While at the lookout near the coarse what I can only assume is an employee or owner drove up, layed on his horn for a solid minute and a half and continued to yell out the window that he was going to call the police. You don't own the public road so I don't understand why the police needed to be involved dude in a white kia sorento. If this wasn't an employee or an owner I will gladly delete this, I just want an apologie or an explanation as to why he felt the need to do what he did. Please not we were just sitting in the back of my car. He could clearly see we were just sitting there enjoying the view.
Small group of us. Food was not very good . Another 2 of the meals meat was really over cooked. Because of who we were with we didnt want to make a complaint. All very disappointing. Nachos were lacking. Little bit of topping on top of a big pile of chips. Paid $5extra for braised beef on top. Tasted like shoe leatherx
What an awesome day at this amazing golf course. Great staff throughout the venue. beautiful views and not expensive for the experience. Keep up the good work. I will be back.
My new favorite golf course in the Okanagan!! Amazing views of the valley, and the course is pristine! The greens are flawless and fast... putt carefully....
All I can say is that the I known The Tower's since the middle 70s . Unfortunately some aren't with us ???? anymore but they'll always be my friends because of their sense of humor and Drive. God Bless your Ranch Golf Course. I think ???? you might have stolen My idea ????????????
Probably played my last 18 of the year and had a great time as always. This course is a challenge but very well maintained and great staff to the end. To "DL" who posted recently.... We received discounts without asking, before and after your post, whenever the course was being worked on and cannot complain about any staff members we encountered. If the course is too much for you at this time, please try less difficult facilities rather than post remarks that display your games frustrations. anyhoo....great course that we would recommend to anyone looking for great golf!
Gorgeous views, good service, so/so food.
Worth every penny, a challenging course, but the views cannot be beaten.
Beautiful views but Tower Ranch seems to have grown complacent after being voted as one of the best courses in BC. The green fee has been raised considerably to $135, however the golf course does not have the amenities to maintain elite golf course status and support the high green fees. There is no practice range, the bunkers are mostly cheap sand fill rather than the fluffy stuff you'd expect, the course was very wet in some spots even though it was 30 degrees. There was also no snack shack, resulting in having to go into the restaurant to order food. This slows pace considerably. The most important miss is that there is not GPS in the golf carts. So no yardage is available. It's a hard enough course without the guess work. The scorecard does not have an outline of the course either. Overall the course is in decent shape and offers great views, but it's not worth the rate they are asking in peak season. You can go down the road and play Predator for the same price and it has a lot more to offer. I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Lower the local rate to what it used to be, update the carts and spend a bit more on course maintenance.
I will be back to play it was a beautiful golf course
The course is in perfect shape. Fairways are very well kept and greens are for all levels of golfer. Maybe because it wasn't scorching hot yet, but the greens were slow to what I assumed they would be. The views are the best in Kelowna and you just get a peaceful feeling playing out there. Elevations change on every hole so it can be tough having flat lies at any point except tee boxes. Made for all level of player so it can be enjoyed. The only issue was lack of range to warm up and practice.
Best course in kelowna by far mountain but no stupid blind shots and great greens plus food faniminal
It has been a long time since golfing here! Was just way too overpriced for years. Now they offer better deals and a player's card which I got. Still our best golf course in Kelowna and staff were bang on excellent today across the board. Course still plays quite tough and is well conditioned and have fond memories golfing here with my good friend Cass some 10 yrs ago...2010 or was it 2009? Will be back very soon again thanks to this great affordable player's card they have in place! Thank you Tower Ranch for a nice day and experience and I did as good as I could out there today. N. Preen, Kelowna, BC
Beautiful view.
Great course with beautiful views !
Fantastic setting. A bit too hilly for my liking.
Loved the round. The best course in Kelowna
$150... No driving range... Slowest round ever
Sprained ankle two days before I could play here. I still tagged along in the cart and watched my friend play. The course course pro waived the cart fee so I could at least enjoy being out on the course. The course is beautiful and looks to be very challenging. All of the staff I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. Look forward to paying here eventually. Top notch.
Expensive
Hell of a course! Challenging and rewarding will leave you satisfied looking towards your next visit at the Ranch!
Amazing ceasars!
Great golf course
Love playing here! Some of the best kept fairways and greens around!! Super staff and always a grade A experience.
Anybody who knows Tower Ranch knows that this is not an easy golf course... probably the toughest in the valley; greens were a little bit slow today but it's in great shape. Playing here is always an experience beyond the ordinary. If you are local, I definitely recommend the local Saver Card. The savings are quite remarkable.
The Tee sheet had 3 foursomes on each hole which resulted an incredibly frustrating and slow round. The Marshall was no where to be found to speed up any of the groups. If you like playing 5+hour rounds on a sub par course here’s your home.
