This golf course is in great shape. Offers some long holes that can be very challenging. Book a table in the restaurant and enjoy the great menu. You will not be disappointed.

It is a lovely course and some nice holes and views. Did find that the greens were not in great condition on several of the holes. Also not sure who had been golfing before us or if it was from a couple of days but there were greens were also shredded in spots from a few people dragging their feet. The placement of greens and the next tee boxes as a bit "tight" in a few places and a little nerve racking when standing there.

This dinner was a very unfortunate experience for us. We came from Vancouver for a lovely vacation and booked a table for a family dinner. Not only the waiting time was far and beyond acceptable despite the restaurant being 1/2 full when we arrived but the meal of the second adult in our family arrived at 8.00 pm which was an hour!!! later than all other meals for our table ( our order went out at 6.30 pm). That's being said, the whole family had finished their meals by that time and the kids got bored and cranky while the other adult never got to actually eat their meal as we had to leave! With the great reviews in mind and above average pricing (we left ~200$ for our dinner) we were expecting our experience to be much better than it actually happened to be. Would not recommend to any of our friends visiting Kelowna!

While the course is pretty and challenging, the greens are in bad shape. I played for the first time last year in mid-July and figured they were beat due to the heat and lateness in the season. Played again in May, still bad. I would even say unplayable in some cases. The $94 price of a round seems unjustified and the only discount is if you buy their players card for $120 - it gets you a round free and then $59-rounds after. Overall - I heard so many good things about this place in the past, I was disappointed.

Sunset Ranch is not only a lush, beautiful golf course, but also a restaurant with delicious food. As a one-stop wedding venue, it is very impressive with it's stunning ceremony site with gazebo, and a newly renovated reception space. The venue offers gorgeous views and wonderful staff and wedding coordinator!

TOP NOTCH! Sunset Ranch has been my favourite venue to DJ weddings, since I moved to Kelowna. NOW I have the privilege to boast I held MY OWN wedding there, and it was flawless. Jeff, Sarah and the amazing staff are truly the best in the business, and I would recommend Sunset Ranch for ANY event you are holding, especially when it comes to weddings. The outdoor ceremony site is breathtaking, the food is phenomenal, the service outstanding, and it honestly feels like a magical place! Thank you, Sunset Ranch, for all that you do, year in and year out. We appreciate everything you did for OUR wedding, and would hold any other event in the future at Sunset, no doubt!

We had our wedding reception at Sunset Ranch on Aug 12, 2016. We booked the venue over a year in advance, and Sarah Pyke was the most amazing event planner ever!! She took care of us from day one, and was incredibly responsive to all emails, was detail oriented and helped us with parts of our wedding that honestly other vendors wanted to charge us extra for! Jeff was also amazing - he hosted us for a very fun food and wine tasting a month or so before our wedding. We planned our entire wedding from Edmonton, so everything was done over email. There's no way it would have happened so smoothly without the help of Sarah and Jeff. The room used for the reception is really great - very versatile, and the perfect size for a small to medium wedding. We had 60 guests, and there was enough space for all our tables, the DJ and no moving of tables was needed to clear the dance floor. At the same time, the room wasn't too airy and awkwardly spaced for the number of guests we had. The food is absolutely amazing. All our guests loved their dinners (we had a three course plated dinner). Sarah also helped us with getting appetizers in the form of platters to our wedding ceremony site to go with the wine we served... she made this so easy!!! The wine package for dinner was excellent - a large variety and price points are super approachable.Gluten free menu options as well, and they tailored our dessert to our liking and offered specially made gluten free servings for those who required them. Thank you so much to the event coordinators, servers and staff of Sunset Ranch for your amazing care and consideration on our wedding day - everything ran so smoothly and we had a really really great evening full of great food, wine and dancing.

We played Sunset Ranch July 26, the greens were punched, odd to do this in summer in peak season, they were awful, inconsistent. Also so wet any balls marks took a big divot from the green, you could see this all over. We gave putts up to 5 feet they were so bad. Some of the course is under construction with a temporary tee box. To us the tee boxes that were not used were in the best condition of any on the course. No discount was offered. One of our group paid 86 buks to walk !! after 2pm. He was not pleased. We paid 48 buks with the play golf kelowna card. This is NOT a walking course. Some cardiak unfriendly walks, Course is an old design that needs a redesign. Strange layout that sometimes does not make sense. Need more signs telling you where the next hole is. Extreme sloped greens, any uphill ones you could only see the flagstick. The 9th a very long par 4, had rough start in the middle of the fairway about 200 yards from the green so if you hit your ball down the middle you were in the rough ! We all thought this was dumb. We all still had a good time but not a course I would be eager to go back again. some holes are very close together, errant balls came very close 2 times, 1 hit our cart. We had a beers after, they did not have a Canadian lager beer on tap, Budwiser was the only lager. We had it anyways and the jug was only 3/4 full. Felt like they were cheaping out. All of this sounds bad, its still an ok place to play golf. 1 of our group said he would go back. Hope its better for others. Highlight of our day was seeing a deer on the course.

Living the space at the harvest for both golf and events. We have had a few events in the garage downstairs space and also the upstairs location for weddings. What a great open space for a party ! E love the staff on location and quality of service when we arrive ! Can't wait to see the team again for future events! Weddings, golf and festive parties !

Was here for a golf tournament. Course was great and was fun to golf. The buffet dinner after would of been better if the food was labeled. Was unsure if there was any seafood in the salads. Steak was small. Probably just need to try food of the menu on my next trip through.

Love this course for its beauty. Flowers, fairway and greens were so well maintained and the course has a good variety of holes from challenging to easier. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. And the hot dog at the turn is delish with lots of different toppings you can load up on! Yummy!

If you are looking for a venue to get married, do yourself a favour and look no further! Sunset Ranch is absolutely the best. I got married here September 21 of this year and everything was literally perfect. The venue (both ceremony and reception areas) are stunning and the staff is amazing. Lori, the event coordinator, is the greatest gal alive. She is so much fun, helpful, relaxed, provides great suggestions, and is 100% a rockstar throughout the planning process and day-of. The food was also incredibly delicious and very affordable. Honestly, Sunset Ranch was one of the most memorable parts of our big day. They truly made our dreams come true. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Okanagan - wish I could relive it!

Incompetent and careless staff. Screwed up our bookings. Booked morning times and they put us into afternoon times. Lady who answered phone paid no attention to what I was saying and was talking to someone else .. I repeated my time and she said got it and hung up. Just very unprofessional - don't answer the phone if you are so busy. Don't need hassle with service like that .. will take my golf group's money to another course.

Played here this past weekend. 2:40 tee time and there was a tournament on which we were not informed of. We only found out when the drink cart came around over an hour later due to this tournament. This had to be the slowest round of golf I have ever played. The tournament players were more interested in getting drunk, playing loud music, and firing errant shots one of which smashed into the windshield of my golf cart. For $126 I got to play a round that ended in the dark and witness drunk "players" urinate on the outside of the washrooms on the course. The greens were trashed as well. All in all a horrible experience and I would not recommend this course to anyone especially for this amount of money.

Absolutely loved playing this course. Really enjoyed the layout. The staff were amazing to deal with. Very accommodating. Finished the course right at closing and the cooks were outside and we asked if they were eager to go home to which we were greeted with a no rush attitude. I believe the one cooks name was Matthew who stated they would go home after we were served and they cooked us up some AMAZING burgers. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating as the patio umbrellas were all closed and chairs were tucked in but they greeted us and allowed us to sit outside and enjoy our meals. Never felt rushed once. Played yesterday and will most likely be back tonight. From the gentleman in the Pro Shop to the kitchen staff, an all around great experience and pricing was very reasonable. Keep up the great work guys. Will recommend to all.

We got married at Sunset Ranch in Kelowna BC on June 23, 2012. Jeff and Shelby were so easy to work with, helpful, and accommodating through the entire wedding planning process. They were always open to our ideas and ready with great suggestions when we asked. Our ceremony was set to be outside, but unfortunately heavy rain and wind started 15min before the ceremony was supposed to start. The staff jumped to action and rearranged the reception room into a ceremony site. It was absolutely beautiful! The food was fantastic, and all of our guests truly had a wonderful time. We would recommend Sunset Ranch to anyone planning a wedding. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day the day we dreamed of.

Really enjoyed my round of golf last week. All staff followed COVID19 precautions which was great to see. Clean carts and fast check in process. Course was in fantastic shape and very challenging! Loved the views of the mountains and the tree lined fairways were beautiful. Will definitely play here again on my next trip to Kelowna.

I was pleased that our Christmas party planners at my work chose your venue to host our annual staff Christmas party this year. Upon arrival we were impressed with the decorating and design of the venue. It was the perfect size space for how many people attended and it had a very festive atmosphere. The food was amazing … the selection of salads was great, the Yorkshire puddings were a treat and the turkey was the moistest many of the staff had eaten. We hoped for a wow factor with the desserts and everyone was so pleased with the tarts, cheesecake and especially the bread pudding. Your chef has many talents! The bar service was much better than any we have had lately, and the wait staff did their jobs well without being intrusive. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have coat rack availability improved by separating the 2 groups jacket hangers and providing adequate and secure jacket storage for each group separate of the other group that was being hosted the same evening. Thank you so much

Sunset Ranch is in excellent early April condition, no winter damage on fairways and greens. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Lots of improvements by an ambitious grounds keeping crew this winter and they have really improved the playability of number 7 and 14 holes. We had our annual staff function up at Sunset Ranch Golf and Country and it was a very nice venue for our event. The catering was fantastic with a great selection of salads and foods to choose from. The catering staff were also fairly quick to clean off the tables of plates and empty drink glasses. The bartenders were also very friendly, which made me want to buy more drinks! Very good experience and a very nice clubhouse as well. After a second year of having our function there, I am still not disappointed!

I miss this course!...big time! One of the best jobs I ever had was here for 2 years, some 11 years ago now and I always will have fond memories of the ranch and golf play there. Plus a good friendship I gained from working here with someone awesome. One of the best challenges in Kelowna please know and a well conditioned course. Just wished some new management was in place lets just say! I was told I was a thief by: (J), the current GM and this has not sat well to this very day, so many yrs later. It was also told to some others too about my being a thief and including the former GM there, (B), and so I avoid his course in Kelowna too, a real shame! I used to love the clubhouse and restaurant there. I thought some Guiness glasses left behind at a wedding I was dj'ing for were just some promotional ones you get at a liquor store and there were like 4 I believe and so I thought they could make for good prizes at some of my own events I do and my only mistake was not asking. I assumed that they would just be trashed! It was the very end of night and barely anyone around while I packed up and all of the wedding party were GONE! I did not intentionally steal as (J) clearly suggested and stated to others and then banned me from being there in future! I was only awesome to that place and suggested the course to so very many! So this still has not sat well to be accused like that and not even given the opportunity to explain! How would you feel???! But still, putting aside the lies against me...I do miss this course big time anyways. A shame (J) is still there! Course/conditions/play-ability...4.5 of 5! Management...1! July 31/21. (Still no apology!, still no invite back and still no reply to this honest review!...all these years later!) N.

I've been in attendance here for several events now and I would like to say that the staff here are always wonderful. The buffet food is delicious compared to other buffets and the staff are attentive and easy to work with. The meeting spaces are clean, comfortable, and well equipped with a gorgeous view!
