Went for Mothers Day Brunch. Nice location but it's easy to miss the turn off even with directions. Brunch was good and the location is fantastic, worth going back to for an afternoon lunch on the patio.

We came for breakfast on Father's Day (a Sunday) at 10am. They were completely understaffed. It took an hour to get breakfast and generally we were ignored for the most part. Every table we could hear were upset with the service and the time to deliver food to the table after ordering.

Stopped in for an early morning breakfast on Saturday. Sat outside on the patio overlooking the course to the mountains.. so beautiful. The service was top notch. Food great and such a reasonable price. Going back soon for lunch/ supper. Thanks

What a nice place! I attended a business after hours event here and it was a pleasure. Everything was nice and clean, as one would hope. The views around the clubhouse and course are very nice, very serene. I bet in the summer it's even better. Great area and a few cool things to look out for as well.

Not a great experience. Pro Shop put a fivesome ahead of us, grounds keeper sprayed my son with water while he was putting then refused to turn it off when asked. They've changed #14 into a par three which is too bad as that was one of my favorite holes. No options for full size course on Westside, Two Eagles is our best option but is a shorter executive course.

Excellent service. The course was in beautiful shape. When your handicap is easily 16-24, the course upkeep is a big factor. Group of 30-35 were up there from the the coast and not one complaint was heard from our group,. Will definitely be back soon.

Came for 18 holes of golf, course was great but ate the restaurant twice once in the morning and once after just pour food quality and quantity, 12$ dry ribs = 5 small ribs.

Grounds were kept very clean. Carts were ready and waiting for us when we arrived! They should announce over a PA system on who's teeing off next, instead of making it the responsibility of the golfers to be on the Tee Box in time.

Beautiful views. That said, for the green fees I feel the greens are inconsistent and the fairways under maintained. The PA clearly doesn’t understand pace of play as we were told we were behind even though we were bang on the time for each hole. Falling behind a faster group doesn’t mean I should play faster, especially if nobody is pressing us from behind. I’m also not a big fan of the significant distances from green to Tee box between some holes or the distance I’m having to walk when paying for a cart. I’d like to give it a batter score however, it is what it is.

This golf course is a real gem in West Kelowna. The restaurant has wonderful views towards the lake. When the weather is nice, you got to sit outside in the patio area, it's so nice. The food is of good quality, the service is good, and the view is killing. I see locals taking a bottle of beer at the restaurant, after finish their roundings. Very family friendly and retirees' friendly place.

This course has been my favorite for a long time. The course is in exceptional shape and always provides a great challenge. Love the views and layout. The staff do not overbook and you can count on a 4 to 4 1/2 hr round.

We were told to try this course as it fit our budgets and we were also wine tasting in the area. We enjoyed the course but found the layout a bit confusing. You cross the road 4 times in 18 holes. Some of the holes are very narrow so balls from others can come close. The course was in pretty good shape. Quite scenic in spots with mountains in the background. My buddies all use those range finder as they all want accurate info on how far to the pin, they were frustrated that the flagsticks did not have the proper reflectors to make it work properly. That is about the only negative other than crossing the road via tunnel 4 times. Good appies on special at the restaurant after, nice view of Shannon lake from the patio. We were on a golf trip from Calgary, not sure we would play this course again but its a challenging course with some severely tiered greens. Lots of wineries close by, loved Quails Gate. I love Kelowna and hope to live there one day.

My childhood course in the neighborhood I grew up. Therefore, I have a bias. That being said, this is a beautiful course and there are views all around. The afternoon front 9 truly features the Lake, whereas the morning back 9 highlights the mountains and wooded areas. Personally, I prefer the front 9, and I definitely recommend doing that if it's your first visit and don't have time for the full 18.

My review is on the restaurant politics. Me and my wife have been here a handful of times this season. Every time we've had a different menu and a different server. First, I'll start with the servers. Yesterday, we were discussing the restaurant with other locals and heard something that really bothered me and my wife. Management is keeping part of the servers tips! We couldn't believe it. I managed a restaurant in Ontario for 15 years and never did I take money from the servers. Here in BC, they are making $9 an hr and someone higher up on the totem pole is taking part of their tips? Disgusting, no wonder no one stays. We never saw a manager the times we were there, next time if I do, I'll ask him myself why he deserves part of the tip I'm leaving. Shannon Lake, this needs to stop. I tip my server, not her manager. Second, the menu needs to stop changing. We understand this restaurant is new but by now, things should have settled. There is no consistency. We want to know walking into a place that we will be able to have the same experience we had before (if it was good). Some of the food is excellent (rack of lamb for example) but some does not have a lot of flavor, for example, the tartar sauce tastes like mayo and the batter on the fish is heavy and flavorless. If you want to keep changing stuff, try sprucing up the food people complain about. That being said, me and my wife have both had some excellent dinners here. I'm writing this review not to discourage people from going, I'm writing it in the hopes Shannon Lake stops taking servers tips and starts being consistent with their food and menu. We are a local retired couple that want this place to be our go to place for food, please take this review into consideration.

Have golfed here a handful of times and have had to play through the sprinklers several rounds. The first couple times were near the end of the day so we didnt say anything, however today they had the sprinklers on at 11 am in low 20 degree weather. We brought this up at the pro shop after the round and they claimed it was normal for the okanagan. I'm just getting into golf this year but I feel for 100$ a round you shouldn't have to get wet or hit your ball out of a puddle on the fairway. GPS on carts are a pretty cool feature.

This is a neighbourhood pub as well as being located on the Golf Course. Many of us locals have lunch there, and their Risotto Balls are to DIE FOR!!! Excellent fresh salads, good food, and very good service! It's a go to with my gf as it handy, reasonably priced, fresh local food and the patio overlooking the course is soooooooooo relaxing!!!! Many thanks to Owner's and staff for always pleasant serving us. It's a good go to place.... always!!!

Aug 11/21...still 5 stars! (Review below is from 2 months ago). Aug 11th...guy in pro shop was very nice! The course is in top shape! Just pretty slow going today at 5 plus hrs it took but there was less smoke out so enjoyed that. Just good to golf when so busy with work! The clubhouse with view of lake is top notch and I neglected to put that last time! Thanks for having us today! (Oh and our cart was so clean and new!) Shannon Lake was much better today than 3 yrs ago and last time I was there! 3 yrs ago we paid way too much and on a 50% off coupon deal as adding a cart must have messed things up in the computer and we paid like $105 each! Just did not want to argue on it. But today the deal was great playing at 3:30 pm and the course is in really nice shape already for the yr and the marshal was nice and the snack shack gal too! Was a nice experience today and was a tough long walk and was tired at end but just wanted to do it! Next time a cart but I just did not like the 20 dollar per person cart fee I guess. A bit high on a cart rental and same as most other places. Blk Mtn just includes a cart which we like. Other than that...based on course itself and the happy hr specials from 3 to 6...Shannon is now a 4.5 of 5 stars! Well done! Look forward to returning! Thanks. (:

Outstanding course in West Kelowna. Greens are tricky, but make sense when you see how the course slopes naturally down to the lake. 8 hole is the signature hole with Shannon Lake all down the right side and the green is protected by a lagoon. Enjoy!
