You will see the feddbacks of real people like you who use the products of Shadow Ridge Golf Club (Golf) around Kelowna territory (Canada).
At present this business has a score of 4.1 stars out of 5 and this rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is quite good, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the assessment is very credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Love playing here. Very walkable, with lots of willow trees for needed shade on those hot days. Greens are in terrific shape, and putt very well. There is enough water and hazards to make you think about club selection. Some long holes making bogie a pretty good score. Very friendly pro shop staff. Terrific value for your dollar. I recommend this course to everyone.
Great golf and fantastic food, couldn't ask for much more. The course plays well and has some challenging fun holes as well the right tee boxes for all handicapers!
Four of us booked the new golf simulator at Shadow Ridge on the weekend. It was a great opportunity to practice and try things that you might not want to try on the golf course. Mark set us up in the simulator room showing us how to operate the simulator. The simulator room is private and if you wish you can order drinks. One of us managed to miss hit a golf ball and it found its way under the curtain and into the restaurant. I won't mention any names but we all know who it was. :-) We had a ton of fun and will schedule some golf lessons with Mark. Thanks again Mark.... Anthony
ahhh there's nothing like golfing with the try hards
I Used golf now for a hot deal which included carts. When we got to the course the pro shop argued that they weren't included. I ended up having to pay $40 extra for a cart so my round costed just as much as a nice track would have. Not worth the $65 to play on a such a low quality course. So many better in the area for the same price
Working hard to repair flood damages from the spring. Still provided a leisurely unhindered round. Bring balls, lots of hazards.
Very nice course. Good Price. Nice staff with Gary and colleagues Will definitely return, plus you can watch airplanes up close before your next shot.
A great course to walk. It's just tough enough to make it quite challenging. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
I just wasn't impressed with the layout of the course. Even though I'm aware it's going through construction due to the airport, it just wasn't fun to play in my opinion. I played with a member, who was extremely friendly and nice. He made the day a great one. The pace if play was slow which didn't help with my impression of the course either. It's still a good budget friendly course, but I won't choose to spend money playing here again unless I was in a bind for an early morning tee time.
Back 9 was a lot of fun the only thing is the holes are cramped together givo g a very narrow feel
Not a better course for the price in town.
I give 4 stars for the effort they make in managing the high water from recent flooding.
Luke make event
Good golf course that's an easy walk. Great price
After playing many courses in Kelowna, this was at the bottom of the barrel. No marked tee boxes, divots everywhere on the tee, slower greens, spray paint everywhere on the course saying where to go, tools and work equipment left all over the place. This course is about $70 if you take a cart at prime time. However you can go to one of the best courses in BC at twilight for the same price or just a bit more. A lot of the stuff above is fairly expensive to fix which I do understand. It's more things like employees in jeans and no golf shirts, workers on carts driving all over the place on the course, laziness, and not putting stuff away contributes a ton. Many other courses with breathtaking views in Kelowna. Would not go back.
Beautiful course
Great value course
Very nice
Great course good service cheap price. Narrow holes bit of damage after the floods but the price makes up for that.
Don’t waist your time and $$. Booked online and saw no information about the course condition. Arrived and had to play all over the place, starting on 10 and ending on 18. They have paper signs and spray paint on the grass to poorly direct you to your next hole. 4 of the 18 holes have temp greens. And the best of all, I paid $145 (Full price) for 2 of us to golf w/ carts because the ground is wet so your shoes will get soaked. Full price, temp greens, very wet conditions, jumping holes and poor signage. Make it a 9 hole course until conditions are better.. figure it out
Great course at a great rate! Nice and flat for walking, but also challenging enough. Long fairways, lush greens and a beautiful environment make for a truly enjoyable round!
Very mature course well taken care of
If you like to walk, Shadow Ridge is a good choice. It is nice and flat and you can enjoy a great round of golf and get exercise too. That way if the golf is not going that well, and we all have those days, at least you can feel good about your exercise. The folks in the pro shop and on the course are friendly, helpful and always ready to fit you in for a great round. The prices are very good and you know what is even better, their membership specials, usually announced in the fall. It doesn’t make the golfing free but very close to it. Give them a try at Shadow Ridge. You will have a wonderful day of golf without draining the bank account. Cheers Robert White.
Decent for the price. A walkable course next to the airport with some challenging holes. The clubhouse could use a reno and the placement of some of the greens means you hit directly at the next tee box.
Very fun layout. A course that allows you to pull out the driver and question going for it or laying up. However, I didn't drive 7+ hours to layup. In good shape - As much as you can expect from a golf course in March. We were told to speed up although we finished the round in under 4 hours, walking - In fairness, the marshal witnessed our worst hole so I understood why he thought we were the culprits. With that said, under 4 hours is a solid pace. Overall we were happy with our experience. Would love to golf this course in it's prime season.
Great value for money in kelowna area...good for novice golfers
Course had a couple wet spots but was in good shape.
Fun course for a good price. Recent improvements are great.
Have passed by this course several times while visiting. Had always looked like a very nice course to play and turned out to be a hidden gem. Love the way it is set up and makes for a challenging smaller course. Staff were great and very helpful. Stop by and check it out if you get the chance
Great course if you like to exercise and enjoy the walk. Greens this year are in great shape. Pin placements every Wednesday can be challenging. Good value for your golf budget. Staff friendly and helpful.
We have been here before but this time we played with less experienced people and we had the Marshall come up to us twice telling us to hurry up. 1.) He said the first nine holes should take 2 hours and we hit 2 hours when we STARTED hole 10, so we weren't below average. And 2.) This is a public course, if you dont want beginners here make yourself private only. How are people supposed to learn if they're rushed and pressured. Also, NO ONE was behind us, it's not like we were holding other players up, and if we were we would have let them play thru.
Good course if you have a long straight drive; if not say goodbye to about a dozen balls. Staff are Great: the course Marshall a bit grumpy considering how busy it was on a Sunday with a bunch of amateurs playing...if we're all backed up, then are any of us?
I like this course because the staff are amazing and the course is always groomed well. Great long holes that really play to my slice! Great course to play a round in Kelowna and area at great value. I can’t wait to take my 9yr old son there in August to show him for his first real round!!
We arrived 5 mins late for our tee time. Our fault for missing a turn off and then going to their office! Instead of putting us in the line up behind those waiting, like I've seen at most courses we were told to wait an hour for the next spot. Very disappointing as we had to leave without playing, as we had a time limit for collecting our kids. You could have done better Shadow Ridge. We probably won't come back.
Very nice golf courses right by the airport for in and out golf trips lots of holes and running streams for a quick cool off lots of obstacles for a great challenging game of golf then when you are done head in to the pro shop and restaurant for a beer and bite to eat then back to the airport and home
Course was pretty nice and fun. Food at the club was pretty good too. Amazingly I did outstandingly well at this course, that made it extra enjoyable.
Shadow Ridge is one of the best golf courses in Kelowna. Last weekend i golfed there 2 times and many more before then. their staff is always friendly and have a great attitude towards anyone who goes into their Pro shop. Next year i am hoping to grab a season pass for this course and try and play it every weekend. 10/10 would recommend to any golfer whether highly skilled or just getting started
Great course
Beautiful course, excellent value.
Golfed there this week . The course was in pretty good condition.
Decent greens, staff are friendly enough. Good amount of shade for a lot day.
Loved it !
Terrific friendly staff, very welcoming. Great course to walk and bring your pull cart.
Beautiful course with amazing staff! Would definitely recommend!
Conditions have improved in 2021 from what I've seen earlier. The fairways are still sparse in places but not as much as in 2020. The bunkers could definitely use some love. The greens are lush but a tad slow for my liking. The layout is unimaginative but hopefully there are plans for increased bunkering, mounding and green rebuilding in future years because this could be a very nice track. The bridge over the first pond on #16 needs to be rebuilt. The staff are friendly. Although the bar/dining area is a bit spartan, it is bright and the staff are wonderful. I haven't eaten yet so can't comment there.
Very nice golf course. It was 42 degrees the day we came, so It was nice having big trees for shade. Pricing was pretty average. Will definitely be back.
Great course
I love golfing Shadow Ridge! Fantastic course, easy to walk, beautiful scenery,, and THE BEST food and friendly accomodating staff ever! Almost feel like family. Thank you! Look forward to many more fun rounds.
Nice public course. It was very wet in areas considering the dry hot weather. Several areas under repair but very playable.
Poor shape...too crowded....too loud
Fun course. Too bad 18 is a par 3. Other than that worth the price.
Best price in town. Great long course. Not too challenging, not too easy.
Good walking course. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff.
Decent course at great prices
Very friendly staff...price is right !!
Fun day on the course! My guests really enjoyed the course.
Great course! Nice easy walk as it is flat. Love the challenge of the tree lined fairways. Staff are always friendly!
Heads up, they double charge for power carts. It's not even a better deal if you share a cart, they charge full price to ride shotgun.
Good lunch and great round of golf visiting from out of town
The course is still in great shape, so far it there
Worst course I’ve ever played. Website shows a lot compared to what it is. For a Okanagan course it was terrible. Tee boxes are hilly and small, fairways are half dirt, the lay out is not good either. Spend the extra $25 and go play the bear or quail across the road.
Played the course yesterday and it was in awful condition! Standing water on a number of fairways, boggy ground, & a swimming hole for a sandtrap on the 18th. The reason for 2 stars was because the staff were very nice. If the coarse doesn't receive some TLC it isn't with playing especially y for full price
Not a bad little Golf Course
Course in rough shape. Expect more from an Okanagan course.
Great course great price
this is a great course and can be very challenging. The course and facilities are very well maintained with professional and friendly staff. I personally believe that this is the best value golf course in the okanagan valley. I joined the club in 2018 and am fully satisfied with all aspects of this club.
Great Course,a Gem,have golfed it many times ,very reasonably priced, great food and drink. Staff is always very helpful and courteous ,highly recommended.
My husband, girlfriend and I wanted to do some gofling and not in the snow. We contacted Mark at Shadow Ridge and he set us up in their new simulator. It was fantastic. You can choose from a variety of courses. My husband is a lefty and I am a righty. There was plenty of room that you didnt have to feel like you were gonna hit the wall behind you with the bigger clubs. Mark has right there serving our beverages without being to imtrusive and watching how I didnt play that well. I would highly recomend this for summer and all winter long. Thats Mark for a wonderful afternoon.
Good food and service however the dining area is somewhat lacking
Shadow Ridge has good golf prices.
Very good shape right now, and a reasonable rate.
Nice course. Very friendly staff!
we paid $78 for a round with a cart. Marshall told us to close the gap at about #15. with a TWOSOME FOLLOWING US! We weren't slow but it took some time to find out where the greens were. i FEEL LIKE i WAS HOSED!
Golf course in good shape. Not as manicured as other courses in the area but we'll worth it best bang for your buck in the area. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Horrible course conditions. We were told the course was in great condition and it's hardly playable. For the money, go somewhere else.
I just had my bowling banquet there last night. 50 people. The food was soooooo good. The staff and service is excellent. I would highly recommend Shadow Ridge for banquets.
(Translated) Great golf course - very fair green fee (Original) Toller Golfplatz - sehr faires Greenfee
Great course, friendly staff!
In a region with over inflated green fees, Shadow Ridge offers a high quality golf experience at a fraction of the price. It is one of the few walkable course around and is a great experience for every level of golfer.
The course was in great shape and I love that they give back to local charities. Super fun afternoon!!
this is the best valued course in kelowna. challenging and well maintained. would reccomend to all levels of player.
Best walking course in Kelowna. .great staff.
Pat was very nice and a good host and a good check in but to pay 50 dollars each after a 2 for 1 coupon presented is so so high as rates go and based on condition of course. Two bridges being fixed and not enough "this way" to next hole markers leave you guessing at times where to go to next. Plus on a Saturday there was not one maintenance crew there anywhere working and a couple greens had a ton of leaves and other tree debris all over greens. Greens were fast but well maintained but hard to figure directions to cup, that part just me perhaps. This course should NOT be 100 dollars each with cart to play! $75 at very most. 2.5 out of 5 but no allowance to type in 2 1/2 stars off here.
Beautiful speadout greens. Always have fun there
Great course! Always have a good time playing here. Please add more variety to the beer menu, we were disappointed to see a dozen types of generic lager and only one type of ale with no IPA.
Unimpressed! Nice staff, but a bit of a goat ranch.
Very nice golf course, great fun. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended! We also love to see and hear the planes flying over. This is our new favourite course to play.
Great walking course. Greens in great shape. Very good value.
Nice little course. It feels shorter than the yardage book as there are a lot of tight doglegs. The greens are very small and call for accuracy from the fairways. Once you get on the greens they are in great condition and roll true with pretty even speed over all of them. As a first time player the layout is a little confusing but we figured it out. Pretty flat which makes it quite walkable. After 3 tee time for $50 with a cart is a pretty good deal in Kelowna.
Best value in the Okanagan valley.
We had a really great round! Would come back again and again
I joined this course a few years ago after playing an enjoyable round, the course staff have always been friendly and helpful. Recently the course opened for the 2020 season and I must say I am extremely impressed with the precautions they have taken to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and employees. When I booked my first Tee time I was sent a link to a safety video on the measures they have taken and what to expect and do when I arrive at the course. When I did arrive at the entrance the General Manager James was greeting each car at the gate to make sure I knew what I should do to make it safe for everyone. While Tee times are at a premium (only a few open courses) I am just happy I am at a course that cares for everyone and could open when many others have not. So, thank you to the Shadow Ridge team for keeping us safe and allowing us to play!!! Oh, and when I completed my round hours later James was still at the gate with a smile working with the golfers arriving for their rounds
