We have all the opinions of people like you who know the products of Kelowna Springs Golf Club (Golf) in the territory close to Kelowna (Canada).
At the moment this business gets a rating of 4.2 over 5 and this score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is quite high, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the assessment is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf corresponds to the category of Public golf course.
Greens perfect and fairways still a bit wet in places. Couple dry days and all will be perfect. 2019 update - extensive work over the winter has improved the drainage and this year the course has been in perfect condition all summer and into the fall. Played Monday and course was dry and the ball rolled forever. What a great day in spite of a few 2 minute showers. Its amazing how the clouds seem to bypass Kelowna Springs and you can see the showers in the mountains surrounding the valley here near the airport but you will still be dry as a bone. No wonder this is where they located the airport. If you like plane spotting this is an added benefit. ;-)
Great food. Our waitress, Ashley was lovely.
Awesome
One of the best Golf Courses in the Okanagan!
That was my first time out last night at Kelowna Springs Golf Club and it was top notch! Course was in great shape, tough, yet somewhat forgiving. Beautiful way to spend an Okanagan day surrounded by farms and orchards! Ian, Glen, and staff there are top notch! Very reasonable rates too!
Really beautiful and well maintained course. Did the Back 9 w/breakfast and felt it was great value for money. Loved the experience!
Me and my friends had a booking the other day and the experience was just awful. It was my first time ever trying golf and I never once felt welcomed to the sport. From the very first point we were already rushed by the guy I guess you call him Marshall. I get it there are people behind us but this is not a private course and I'm a paying customer too. On top of that we didn't get carts while the brats behind us had theirs. And wouldn't stop calling us out we were harrassed by the Marshall at least 4 times and the last comment he told us to either move a hole or we gonna get kicked out. Like really? At this point I just wanted to get my money back and never come back. And I definitely won't come back to this business.
(Translated) Delicious food, beautiful view, friendly service. (Original) Heerlijk eten, mooi uitzicht, vriendelijke bediening.
Friendly service. Everything was on time and running smoothly. Had an issue with a cart and they drove out and fixed it withing minutes.
Very friendly, accessible, GOOD food & course.
soooooo beautiful
This is a prime example of a golf course that is not the longest but provides an excellent test of golf. Too much emphasis is placed on length, but one should never judge a golf course by the yardage. Kelowna Springs is one of the most enjoyable golf courses I've played, the course is kept in excellent condition and the beautiful undulating greens will test the best of putters. Considering what some of the other golf courses charge for green fees Kelowna Springs is one of the best when it comes to value for your golfing dollar. The staff are very customer oriented, and the food and service in the dining room is top notch. A lovely facility with great staff, pay them a visit you will see what I mean.
Prettt open course, couple water hazards along the way, but overall a very pleasant experience.
Love the course and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
Nice course. Nice rental clubs, competitive price
Very reasonably priced and a good challenge. Had a smokey at the turn and was very tasty! Nice beer selection upstairs after the game. Highly recommend coming for a round!
How the Water Hazard with a caesar salad. Only one server on today and she was just incredible very good customer service. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch
Go to any other course in the okanagan you'll have a better time. Even in the dry season they have mosquitoes because they are next to a swamp which doesn't give them any points in regards to smell. They also love to bend over for there passholders and allow them to play up and shoot at you while constantly berating you. In summary they have average greens but conditions and abysmal service make it so that any other course in the valley will be a better experience.
Very flat course for the valley but lovely course
Good good and friendly staff
Went to my brothers wedding here ... the hostess was amazing!
Nice course for the family.
Ok but simple and unspectacular, more like flar simple Florida course. Given other options in area, reco a different choice if tourist looking for mountain golf experience.
Solid course that plays longer than the yardage.
Great course CUTE ( girls)and friendly staff good food
We used the Mashy room for a 90th birthday party. It was great and the services offered were excellent. The help they offred was great.
Good golf course, you can do 9 or 18.
Beautiful golf course and reasonable price
Food was good, and value for 9 and breakfast excellent. Course was well groomed but a bit noisy with the planes taking off overhead.
Beautiful course
Great walking course and good food. The course is in wonderful shape.
Spend your money elsewhere. There are much better courses.
Beautiful course, lots of fun
Very well kept course with a good mix of forgiving fairways and speedy greens to keep you honest. The front 9 eases you into a more technical back 9 with two of the best yet toughest holes in the Okanagan Valley (so I'm told). I would recommend for any skill level.
Great Mother's Day Brunch! Candied Salmon was very good! Beautiful view of course from Restaurant! Great service!
Nice course! Loved it!
Needs Reno
We had 2 groups of 3 and they forced 2 single players on us while the course was already backed up 20+ minutes
Beautiful course that was in incredible shape for this time of the year. Greens were fast, yet receptive. Course was well groomed and the staff was friendly. This is the type of course you'd want a membership at. It's a great layout that can challenge those trying to score low yet allow the average golfer to work on their game. Right amount of water & bunkers. The beautiful day definitely aided in my positive perception of this course. I will definitely be back ???? Edit: I walked this course, and found it enjoyable.
Me and the guys come up from Vancouver and golf here every August. Great staff and a superb golfing experience!! Our 12th year in a row this year!!
Nice track.
I have never in all my years felt so small leaving a golf course. The marshall literally rushed us of the course and took our carts, and my belongs were still in it because they needed it and were behind schedule. He took our belongs out and handing them to us. Not ok any day of the week even more so because of covid and then said we had five minutes to leave. Horrible service. I will be never ever recommend this course to anyone I know or who ask where to play. Literally left this course feeling worse then I have ever had leaving 1000+ course around the world. Marshall made worse experience ever and I see in the reviews not the first. Same marshal asked us to say a very questionable joke to the beer cart person. Which again shows the class and judgement of the Marshall working here. Went to manager and all he did was pretty much defend the Marshall. Please don't go golfing here,100% better course and for same or better rates with a way better experience.
I have only so fsr to eat. Service is great and food is wonderful.
Well first off, I really want to commend the greenskeepers and everyone else who works so hard to keep this course as beautiful as it is. Truly, it's fun to play, and kept to the standards of the highest quality courses in BC. Unfortunately though, the older gentleman who generally works in the pro shop is not suited for his role. I play this course weekly as I have 4 friends who are members here - and one thing they always tell me is "just ignore ____". But it's SO hard! Every time I see him, he's scowling, being short with customers, and outwardly rude to nearly every person who comes into that pro shop. I can no longer support this course. I'd encourage ownership to seriously re-consider the role of the person who acts as "the face" of your golf course.
Good course, fast greens, lots of water, well maintained. Could use range finder reflectors on the flagsticks. We enjoyed this course. We were given a tip to try this course as we are not great golfers and can't afford the big fancy courses. The food after in the clubhouse was quite good, service the same. The only negative is my 3 friends all have range finders, they were constantly complaining they had difficulty getting a reading. They commented to me that they played here before and all the flags had nice reflectors, only 2 had them this time. ( Reflectors make the range finders work better and are inexpensive) While I don't use one I could tell it was upsetting to the guys as they are all into that. While the carts have GPS my friends all rely on their range finders. I would play here again as the course is flat and not too long, quite scenic with lots of different trees, looking up the valley you can see vineyards and orchards. . Nice view from the patio that overlooks the pond and 18th. I got a birdie on #3 my first and only one of this year so far !
Course is in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow due to a large party.
Really pretty location!
Marshall was quite rude. Will not be back.
This is one of the best golf course I've been too. The green is so soft and smooth and its sooo beautiful. If I lived close by I would come here every weekend
Great value for the course you get to play. Very walkable.
Beautiful course, great food and service. Played for a corporate tournament and was thoroughly impressed with the condition of the course and the hospitality of the clubhouse. Will recommend to anyone traveling that way!
If the GPS in the carts actually worked, it would be 5 stars. Greens were great. Very receptive to good shots and putts rolled true. But GPS in the carts wasn't working. Tried 2 carts too. Guessing your yardage made for some missed shots. And restaurant was closed when we finished, but otherwise great day.
Beautiful setting, excellent greens, fun and challenging course. Friendly staff too!
Great golf course for all levels
Easy access
Very nice course. Always in good shape. Good staff.
Tough greens, at least to me, but I loved that challenge, course was in great shape, nice looking course.
Good people.
Great greens, some challenging holes good rates
Love this place.
Great course, laid back staff reasonable prices.
Back 9 and breakfast is the best deal in town. Greens are in better shape than other more expensive courses in the valley.
Great course, great price
Good course for people who like links and not losing balls.. Wish they had a regular cart service for the fifth star.. Easy to get on as well,, very accommodating.
Great value, beautifully maintained course.
A well maintained walk-able course with interesting contoured greens. Water in play on 50% of the holes. They even provide free easy-roll pull carts with seed mix for divot repair. An enjoyable golfing experience with fine restaurant facilities.
A great place to eat. Wasn't there for golf but the restaurant is really good and incredible service.
Wonderfully layed out course! Beautiful ponds and fairways.
Good golf course for walking. Flat with few trees, but some water.
Great course and food
Super disappointed with this course. We were forced to play when its windy and raining otherwise we would need to pay $10 per person fee if we wanted to cancel. I get the money thing but never had a golf course this disconnected from customer service
I love golfing this course!!!!
Was the first group out at 730 and it was looking like a good round but when we got to the back 9 they had started groups of walkers that slowed us down almost to a stop. Very poor course management. I've played the course about 5 times and this will be my last. Would only recommend the course if you are walking 9 holes. Would not recommend to play 18 holes in carts. Update: The manager tried to make amends and informed us that the course does a 9 hole breakfast special that they failed to tell us when we booked. The course starts golfers on both the 1st and the 10th holes which slows down anyone who is not participating in the breakfast special. Would not recommend the course unless you are partaking in the 9 hole breakfast special. Ian, When we checked in in the morning the individual at the desk informed us that we were the first ones on and that we had the course to ourselves. To me that means that there would be no one infront of us. There was no starter on the Corse or Marshall to direct us when to start so we started when we were ready. When we booked the tee times your management failed to inform us that the fairways, tee boxes, and greens were aerated. When our organizer contacted the course to clarify and ask to speak to a manager he was told that the manager was gone for the day and that our organizer would be contacted the following day. He was not. I'm assuming the individual that took the message did not pass it along. When our organizer called back he was finally able to speak to the manager and the manager assured us that the course was in top shape and that all the greens would be rolled. The greens were not rolled we have some very experienced golfers in the group (playing over 30+ years) and they were dissatisfied with the way things went. Had we been informed of the aerating and the breakfast special at the time of booking our expectations would have adjusted. Our group played 8 times throughout the week and your course was the first to not be transparent and clear in what to expect. You may feel that the 1 star review is unjustified but given mine and multiple other golfers experience I will not be removing it. I suggest in the future when large groups book tee times your staff inform them of course condition and any potential hurdles that may come up such as groups of walkers starting mid way through the round.
Had a great day and a great round going until I was teeing off of 1, which was my 18th as I started on 2 in the shotgun, when one of the male employees approached on their cart and asked me what I was doing?? Like I didn't belong there or something.. I told him I was finishing my round, he asked where my playing partners were and I told him they didn't want to finish the last hole as they were worn out, I felt the inquisition to be quite rude as I payed for a full round of golf, I expect to play all 18 and not be told "I have 10 minutes to finish" as though I'm some kind of problem or burden to the staff. When everyone in the entire shotgun was finishing their rounds simultaneously .. really liked the course and had a great day but this put a definite damper on my first experience. I certainly would have been back but I feel as though I'll see what else Kelowna has to offer. Unfortunate.
Flat easy walking course. Too many bunkers though. Nice restaurant and beautiful view. Look forward to playing after long wet cold winter.
Golfing at Kelowna Springs Golf Course is a pleasure. A good walking course. Pro shop staff are friendly, the restaurant has great food and a excellent wait staff. The grounds crew do a wonderful job.
Don’t bother booking early morning in hopes you will finish quickly as they start people on the 10th as well which we discovered after finishing the front nine in 90 minutes. Had to wait at the 10th for 30+ minutes before being able to continue on. Not the courses fault as this is their policy which we were unaware of. This doesn’t really encourage golfers who can play at a quick pace or early risers though. Other than that course was lovely.
Great view of arriving and departing aircraft.
Great place, bring sunscreen
always a great place to play golf.dining room staff are the best in the business.food is outstanding! go!!
Very nice place
Great fun ... well kept course. However needs better Marshalling for slow players.
Very good walking course. Well maintained. Fast greens with lots of slope. Number of different price ranges, from early bird to twilight. Played Friday at 12:30, cost was 63 dollars.
We just had our second Christmas Party at the Golf Club and was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Did not think it could exceed last years, but it did. The Food, the Staff and the ambiance was just incredible and extremely festive. Thanks to Lisa, Coreena, Cindy and the Chefs!! All outdid themselves. See you next year!!
Very open course, well kept. Greens are quick. Sand and water add challenges to seemingly simple holes.
My fiance and I planned to have our wedding at Kelowna Springs in September, but due to COVID restrictions and family concerns we had to cancel the venue. We had heard multiple news reports about other facilities not giving people their money back, but Kelowna Springs was awesome! They returned our full deposit on the spot and were very understanding. Kudos to Liisa and the staff. We would definitely book events with them in the future. Mark and Kathleen Reimer
Very nice course. Well designed. Good (and plentiful) sand traps. Great greens. Well maintained.
Good deals are good
Fun track. Reasonable price for the quality of the course. Greens were in fantastic shape in June 2018
Course has been in excellent condition all summer. it is not a difficult course but good to work on your game. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Well Maintained, great layout. Greens were in great condition. Highly recommend playing here!
Nice Track / Great Staff!
Beautiful course! I come from Toronto and was just not used to seeing the gorgeous backdrops while hitting off the Tees. Loved every second of it. Must play here.
Pricey but worth it
Not too shabby.
Booked for 4 with 2 carts. 1 person got I'll. Not knowing what they had , they did not golf. The course charged my credit card for the person not showing. Only 10.50$, but it's the point of it.
Lovely golf course, flat and easy to walk.
Very friendly and professional. Great experience
Excellent course. Excellent service. Excellent condition. Excellent price. Excellent location. Excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent. Thankyou for an awesome season see you next year ????????????⛳
Great layout, greens in good shape really hard & fast ,a bit pricey for flat coarse, super fun to play, had a great day with family, son brother,& newfue
Great course..dont pass it up...!!
Great customer service, easy to book in and beautiful course. Happy customer
I don’t ever leave reviews but as I sit on the 11th hole tee box closing in on 20 minutes waiting I figured I’d kill some time. When you book a time for 6 AM you figure you will be able to get around the course in 3-3.5 hours. What they fail to tell you at Kelowna Springs is that they send out the worlds slowest golfers on the back 9 so your 1 1/2 round on the front turns into a 3 hour round on the back. When we asked the pro shop the response was “the website says to expect a 4 to 4 1/2 round”. Sorry but if I’m waking up for a 6:00 AM time I don’t expect a 4 1/2 hour round. When we asked about a refund for the back we were told we would get “7 or 8 bucks back”. If I don’t expire by the time this round finishes I won’t be playing here again.
Was not impressed with the course for the rate they charge. Customer service seems impersonal and not willing to make the customer feel good about the experience.
The staff was great and really good food and we enjoyed the course
June 14/21... Much improved and moved up from 4 stars to 5! Yesterday the course was in prime tip top shape and the customer service yesterday, (June 13, Sun), was super spot on by the younger staff who were much more engaging! Had a good round too and look forward to playing there again sooner than later.
Great course
Beautiful place. Would reccomend
Awesome!
Beautiful, well kept and beginner friendly course with few hazards. Did the back 9 with breakfast and this is by far the greatest deal in town. Want to come back for full 18 holes. Service at the pro-shop and restaurant was OK. We weren’t offered a scorecard anywhere so had to spend quite of time learning each hole.
Great course for an average or serious player. Walk it in 4 and half hours. Restaurant has real good selection. Cheers.
Course in good shape
Awesome course.
Great condition. Friendly staff. Good hotdogs.
Moved to this course recently and while I enjoy the actual course the app to book on line is awful. While I may be a bit old school even a neophyte on some platforms rarely (if ever) have I had the challenges this application has afforded me. The staff are decent and grounds well maintained so no negatives there but man the frustration to book a time is disappointing
I come from Alberta for the brothers stag. Great conditions of golf course! Also like to add great service on cart girl named Bree, who was quick and efficient in serving the guys drinks!
Beautiful coarse, challenging greens
Course was in great shape. Greens fairways in good shape but sand traps could use some finer sand. They are bit coarse and lumpy. Other than that had a great round. Will return. If I lived Kelowna I would join the club as soon as I arrived.
Had a great day out there. For mid September, everything was in good condition. Fairways and greens in good shape. Not the most difficult course in Kelowna but also very reasonable priced including cart. Range / practice facility would be nice.
my friends and I were disrespected by the marshall before we even set out on the course. the constant implications that we we were going to be slow and if we hit a bad shot to pick up the ball to speed up the game. we had 4 seniors infront of us and had to wait at every hole before teeing off yet we were told to speed up the game again on the 5th hole. i know im not a member and i do not look like a golfer but i paid the same amount of money as the guy playing ahead of me and behind i deserve the same respect
