Played the Gallagher’s Canyon Championship Course, it was in incredible shape with fast greens and great views. Followed by dinner on the patio, Great food and Service. There is first class practice facility and Pinnacle Course for a more relaxed experience!

For five years in a row, our company has held our employee & family Sunday Brunch Christmas Party at Gallagher's Canyon Golf and Country Club. With regularly 100+ people in attendance, we put a lot of demands on the servers and kitchen staff at these events. Each and every year we are extremely satisfied with the variety and quantity of the tastefully served and presented brunch. Not to mention the venue is gorgeous and the staff at Gallagher's our friendly, very helpful and willing to accommodate our special requests to make our parties a success. No other venue can beat the value and the overall quality the we receive every year at Gallaher's and that is why we keep on coming back.

Worst golf experience in Kelowna. Besides the course being in very very average condition, I cannot explain clearly enough how terrible the staff are at this supposed “golf resort”. As you walk in we’re “greeted” by the owners son you makes you feel right off the hop that you shouldn’t be there and you are inconveniencing him by over paying to play his dads golf course. This feeling was corroborated by the local members who say they feel unwelcome even as residents of the area. Having arrived at 845am we were SHOCKED by the news that the driving range was not open, and that the restaurant wasn’t open until 11 and the snack shack open at 10. So for us no food available until after 9th hole. Once we finished the 9th hole we were once again “greeted” by another member of the ownerships family and once again felt we were inconveniencing her by spending money at the turn. I only did because I was very hungry. Although the course was dry and had several dead spots on every hole, the greens were in decent shape and the course had a decent layout. Pace was fine and the starter at hole 1 was pleasant. For the money there are much better courses to play at. Won’t be back.

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Gallagher's Canyon. The venue is picture perfect, the wedding coordinator is fabulous and the food is yummy. I would highly recommend this wedding location to anyone getting married in Kelowna!

We recently held our Christmas staff party at Gallagher's Canyon Country Club and were very impressed! The venue was cozy and decorated for the season beautifully... They catered the buffet to our needs and the food was delicious - highly recommend it and we plan to book next year's party there as well! Rhea

Love Gallagher's Canyon! It is probably one of the oldest, yet still one of best golf courses in Kelowna! Testing elevation changes, beautiful ponderosa pines, spectacular views and great course condition make Gallagher's Canyon a must play for me at least once a year! Loved the Pinnacle Course as well for a quick evening round when we used to live in the area!

We have never played your course and were up in Kelowna for a few days on our 19th annual golf tournament. This was our first round and we were approached by Marshal Ken on hole 6. This was the first time he showed up. He didn't say hi, he didn't give us a soft warning....he just stared out laying into us and barked at us. He said you are 20 minutes behind your tee time and needed to speed up or he was going to make us pickup balls and skip a hole. We played the next two holes in 9 minutes and 10 minutes. I think that is ahead of your pace of play clock. Then Ken confronted us again at tee box and just barked at us. He then just sat in his cart for the next 10 minutes and stalked our group down the fairway. We even asked him to leave us alone as we have made the adjustment and sped up. He did not even say "thanks for speeding up" or any sense of customer service. This annoyance and lack of customer service was something that is lacking at your golf course. What was also disappointing is that after the round, I went into clubhouse and talked to "Eli" He interrupted me as I started to explain the situation as he said "Ya Ken told me you guys were super slow and backing up the course" He didn't apologize and was quit frankly smug and rude. We won't be back to Gallaghers Canyon - Just wanted to share this with you as it seems no one there was concerned about the customers and nor understand customer service.

Nice course. Well groomed. Price isn't too bad, I've paid more to play on other courses. Staff is friendly. Course is challenging, not for me of course because I'm better than Tiger Woods, but we'll laid out. Can be slow sometimes, but hey, it's a popular course here in the Okanagan.

just love the course - the fairway is so well maintained and silk feeling, too many surprise with black Tee, one must putter 3 hole birdie, 8 pars, and 4 double bogeys.

Be very careful about any offers or coupons you use at this course. Ask questions, they will gleefully deny use of any coupon. Get your glasses on and read the small print. It may cost you a couple hundred dollars if you don’t.

We Played the canyon course for the first time today ( May 21/21, $119 green fees ). Very disappointed with the overall condition of the course. They lost about 13 of the greens and a few tee boxes have about 10 blades of grass. Dead spots all over the course from aprons, rough to fairways. This is supposed to be a top rated course in Kelowna in the same league as Tower ranch, Black mountain, well I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone. Go play Micheal Brook for $50 it’s in way better condition. Layout of the course is challenging with some very scenic holes but you don’t get to enjoy the views as you are too frustrated with the course. I can’t believe they hold a Mackenzie tour event on this course.

I'm disappointed with Gallagher's Canyon. I have looked forward to playing here for years having enjoyed the Pinnacle course many times. We had to wait for a few minutes for an available cart which had a low battery early on. Our cart was almost dead after 14 holes. We had to push it up the hill on the last few holes. Not impressed, especially when nursing a bad back. Also the greens were not great for a course of this caliber. Some of the greens were very bumpy and patchy. It's a beautiful course overall but I left feeling a little let down for our first visit.

Nice restaurant. Convenient after coming down from the KVR hiking. Who knew you could have a cool refreshing beverage so soon after getting back to civilization. Good food too. Didn't play golf; I hear you need some talent for that.

Very nice place, service was not good. Started off the round with rude Marshalls. Was our first time here and we saw the workers drive on the green to the range. Our group followed and left our carts there as there were no signs telling us not to as we saw a path that led down there. Was also a very hot day hence we were just thinking of cutting the distance. Without letting us explain we were just yelled at by the employee to take our carts off, which we would’ve done anyway if they would ask nicely. Black mountain and Harvest had services which were above and beyond while Gallagher just gave us a sour taste. Little bit of empathy would go a long way, customer service was definitely lacking at this course.

When my husband and I started looking at venues in Kelowna we wanted to find something secluded from the city, but still have the beautiful Kelowna scenery. Luckily, we found Gallagher’s Canyon. Ruthanne, who is the events coordinator, was so helpful with answering any questions or concerns. Ruthanne took us on a thorough tour of the Canyon on a golf cart. Which was nice to see all sides of Gallagher’s and where the best places to take your photographer. Another big plus was the parking that was available for all 130 guests. Ruthanne was amazing with the venue concepts, implementation and vendor suggestions. No matter how big or small the task, Ruthanne always delivered the best service to us. What also impressed us was how she personalized the layout of the wedding… how often does a bride get to be chauffeured in a corvette down to the ceremony site threw the golf greens. We had a breath-taking back drop of Myra canyon for our ceremony. They had set up a great refreshment bar while the guests got to mingle after the ceremony. After the ceremony Ruthanne took us on a guided tour with the photographer all over the course to find these amazing hidden gems for photos, and they turned out AMAZING!! Words can't describe how in love we are with the pictures and not having to leave the venue to take photos is such a bonus! Moving into the reception you have the big glass windows for your guests to be able to look over the golf greens and enjoy a spectacular sunset. One of my favourite parts of the wedding was the dinner, the set up was perfect on the patio lots of room and so many options! So many guests still RAVE about the roast beef carving station and how tender the meat was. With the buffet we saw so many of our guests going up for 2nds and even 3rds! The Gallagher’s team throughout the whole day was so professional and made the night go by flawlessly. There is no way our wedding would have been as memorable and beautiful if it weren’t for Ruthanne and her wonderful team. -The Ellison’s 06/29/2019

Gallagher's was THE perfect venue for our wedding. We got married at the beginning of October and the grounds were picture perfect. You can't beat the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course. Ruthanne was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and professional and offered her opinion when I was indecisive. She was very flexible with the constantly changing COVID restrictions and made planning a wedding during a pandemic a bit less stressful. The staff working our wedding were wonderful as well! Guests raved about the buffet and really enjoyed the carvery station. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and we are so grateful to the staff at Gallagher's for their part in making our wedding day a total dream!

Please accept my compliments on the excellent customer service provided by the pro shop. We live in Saskatchewan now but LOVE this course? Best in Canada as far as I am concerned! So beautiful! :)

We married Sept 25, 2021 at Gallagher’s Canyon Golf club, in the middle of a PGA tour. Our wedding was the fairytale I had always dreamed of. The location was gorgeous. The community made us feel like royalty they cheered, clapped as we rode by on the golf cart. One resident stopped us while taking photos to congratulate us and gave us a bottle of wine. The catering was exceptional! Everyone was so impressed with the selection and flavors of the food. Ruthanne was attentive and responsive to all questions and concerns. April was in control of the banquet room, and room transitions happened quickly and smoothly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so beautiful.

1 star for the driving range. Course is 5 star. WARNING TO ALL USERS - they use limited flight balls here and they will damage your woods. Pro shop confirmed it. Just shattered the face of my Taylor Made 3 wood yesterday. $350 to replace. Golftown said they have seen quite a few recently from people using Gallagher’s and The Harvest ranges. Irons ONLY at the range here or else the same could happen. Would liked to have seen a warning posted at the facility or something ...

First time coming here all the way from Vancouver and I must say I was not impressed. The marshal at the range was as rude as anyone has ever been to me on a golf course. The Marshall on the course was not much better, he sure did give us a rude awakening for driving our carts a few feet past the no cart signs ( 45 degree weather ) and threatened to kick us off the course. Pound sand bud, all he had to do was ask us nicely especially on the first warning. All in all this place gets a 3 out of 10 and that’s only based off of the nice scenery. We went to Harvest and Black Mountain and got treated like gold, here.. not so much.

Very disappointing. Was out for a round with my regular group the other day. At one point as we are about to tee off we hear this child losing her mind. We look around wondering where that could be coming from and low and behold it’s coming from the beverage cart? I was surprised to see a young girl riding on the cart. Was it bring your kid to work day? In any case I found the whole experience to be quite inappropriate. One of my group was familiar with the cold saying she had scene her hanging around the club house and halfway shack being mischievous. Definitely took the experience down a few notches. Not impressed.

Travelled from Ontario to BC on vacation to play golf and enjoy wineries. Today's golf experience was disrupted by an over zealous marshall who harassed on several holes. We completed our round in 4 hours and 27 minutes. Hardly a slow rate of play!!

Played Gallagher's Saturday July 2. I have played this course once before and find the course a wonderful venue. This time round , the course was still in fantastic shape. My experience was not as spectacular however. After being given the run down on the first tee ( appreciated by the way) We were told pace of play is vitally important. Did not realize pace of play meant a 4 hr.55 minute round. I understand course marshals have a difficult job. I know its difficult dealing with players who disregard requests to comply with rules. However we were terribly, terribly disappointed. Next rounds will be played elsewhere.

Course is generally in good shape but if you are anywhere off the fairway the rough leaves a lot to be desired. The rough has been deteriorating and the balls are regularly in a hole or depression.

Gallagher's Canyon is my FAVOURITE course in the Okanagan. I grew up playing Gallagher's as a child where I participated in many of their Junior-Junior camps each summer. Now I am a playing professional, and in my opinion Gallagher's provides an exceptional practice facility, and a Championship layout for every level of golfer! After nearly 15 years of playing Gallagher's Canyon I am still awestruck by the breath-taking views. I'm also very impressed with Gallagher's initiative to grow the game via Kelowna's Grow Through Golf program, their Pinnacle Junior Series, and many junior clinics!

Working with Ruthanne to plan our May wedding was such an amazing experience! She made sure to meet with us several times, and was always available by phone or email with the million questions we had! She did everything in her power to make sure we had the best day prior to with all the planning and organizing, and the day of we felt in such good hands with having her there! The venue at Gallagher's is absolutely gorgeous, and with the newly painted and renovated reception room, it really is a beautiful back drop to any theme you may have. The ceremony site overlooking the canyon is breath taking, and our guests absolutely loved being outside for the afternoon ceremony. Ruthanne made sure that all our vendors had access to the room and allowed our photographers and videographer scout the area before hand so they knew exactly where to take us for photos the day of, and our vendors had nothing but great things to say about working with Ruthanne! I would 100% recommend checking out Gallagher's and speaking with Ruthanne if you are planning a Kelowna wedding! I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for my husband and I to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams!
