Love this lodge. Location was perfect for us as we dont like too much noise, its quiet in the evenings. We enjoyed having our own private patio, laid back and enjoyed watching the golfers tee off, of course with a few cold ones. We stayed here about 3 years ago, since then wow has the area ever changed, very nice now to have additional services so close, there is a new supermarket called Nesters, it has everything one needs if you plan on cooking a bit, also a liquor store and a DQ, Timmies for morning coffees. Took a fishing charter on Wood lake, caught a couple of beauties of Kokanee Trout ! fried then up with a bit of butter and garlic and some nice vino. Brought our clubs on this trip, we played the Bear course, it was a blast and in nice shape Chris at the front desk organized the golf and a wine tour which was the icing on the cake for us celebrating our 5th anniversary. Thanks to Bill for such a fun wine tour, we ended up going to 5 wineries & thanks to the lodge for good service and a great price. We will come back for sure and happy to refer others to this resort and lodge. We love this location as we can drive to the city core in less than 15 minutes, with all the new services one really doesn't need to go into the downtown.
