We golfed here July 9, 2020 on a 35C Hot humid day and was pleasantly happy about the overall course conditions. Green fairways during a ten day very hot spell is a testament to the course staff for their hard work. We played the annual Tamarac Tournament for several years and it has been too long since golfing here. The greens are in wonderful condition hold very well and were amazingly quick. You really need to recognize where the pin is on the greens as there can be 70 to 90 yards difference from front to back. Local knowledge is acquired and necessary to pull back the reins off the tee for fairway position when an off line long bomb can get into trouble. Really enjoyed the course and highly recommend anyone considering a golf game make Tamarac a first choice.

Just Awful!!!! Played 9 holes a week ago... Was greeted on the patio when I arrived by the "Owner" who was completely intoxicated and yelling "Welcome back to Tamarac"... He needs to get off the booze and patio and spend some time in the seat of a tractor cutting grass!! Several lost balls in the fairways because the grass is nearly 6 inches long!! Zero maintenance being done at all!! Save your money and time and go elsewhere!!

Just hit up the driving range. Course looks good, was happy with the range as I was there to drive a few, then chip and putt. Looks more like a warm up driving range, one to use before a full course game.

Great time course is a bit beat up and clubhouse could use some updating. Golf cart had better days and wasn’t comfortable. Staff were friendly and it was easy to navigate around the course. We would go back the new owners have done much work and it just takes time. ⛳️????Give this course a try!

I've played here twice in the last 2 months. Course is in very good shape. Greens are very good. Prices are lower then any other par 72 course within 25 miles. Don't believe the recent reviews that gave it a one star. Must be disgruntled customers for some reason. The same guys that give Marty Moos (local Restaurant) and McDonald's great reviews.....lol. Play on Tuesdays and golf and cart is only $39.00 plus tax. I'll be back.

Nice long course, decently kept. Beer cart girl had wonderful customer service, decent drink selection. Customer service in the club house was far from amazing. Yelled at someone on my team due to their miscommunication previous to the tournament. Food served was disgusting and barely eatible. Come here for the golf and drinks, not for the customer service or food. (Picture of my veggy burger, although the meat option wasn't any better as my grandmother didn't eat hers either)

The new owners (for the 2019 season) have done a really great job with the course, especially the greens. The course itself offers a great value round at a challenging course in a picturesque country setting. The 19th hole (enjoying a cold one on their Muskoka chairs out by the 18th green) is one of my favourites!

This course could easily be 5 stars if they did abit more work on the tee boxes. The range tee decks were also in rough shape. Other then that the greens were good and the fairways and rough was super green and thick. Great course to play and fairly priced. Could use some cart upgrades the one I drove was falling apart and barley started everytime trying to take off

Now under new management. We'll maintained course. Friendly punters. Helpful staff. Needs to keep the bar open longer to avoid clients going elsewhere either for post golf refreshments, casual evening drinks, or for their golfing experience altogether. The 19th hole is a part of the round and if it's not available, players may go elsewhere.

Went with my girlfriend for a lesson with Craig, and it was fantastic. He really took his time to help us learn the game and really get the basics down. Very accommodating and took some extra time to answer all our questions. Will definitely go again!

Under new ownership, Tamarac golf and country club offers a great track that has improved tremendously from previous years. Greens are looking good and the lush fairways are wide and accommodating. Enjoy a day here before the cold denies you your favorite pastime.

Tamarac is a great place to come out for a round. Staff here is extremely friendly and always helpful. The course has a nice laidback attitude to it that you don't find at most courses nowadays.

I have loved this course since I was a junior golfer and 38 years later I still love every trip out there. Love the changes I think the only thing I would recommend is getting a bit of power in those power carts LOL we were fighting to get ours going all day long. Other than that was a great day on a great course

Terrible ownership. A group of us played Tamarac the other weekend and were planning to play 36 holes, with the second round at the Quarry (Great Course FYI) to finish a 4 round golf weekend. On #11 of Tamarac, we decided to call the pro shop to see if we could stay and play the last 18 holes there to finish the weekend (last of 4 rounds) **For timing sake, not due to the terrible course conditions.** The pro shop told us it was wide open after 3PM and it was no problem to get back out. Upon our finish at 18, the owner told us we had called the wrong course, they were fully booked and we couldn't play again (at roughly 3pm). We proceeded to watch 5 groups finish and not one group Tee off. Owner then changed his story telling us that he wouldn't release golf carts after 5PM (again this was 3:30pm?). This is all with his knowledge that we had guys from all across Ontario out for the weekend and we would even walk if needed. The owner proceeded to mock us, laugh at us and tell us there was no chance to get back out. Interesting strategy from a course with a sign that reads "Cold Beer and Golf". Would give the management negative stars if I could and will not be returning to this course. Would also recommended playing any of the other great courses in the Peterborough area before considering playing here (Belmeer Winds, The Quarry, Baxter Creek, Heron Landing, Key Stone, Pine Crest or Six Foot Bay)

My friend and I booked a "T" off time for Sept 1, 2015, 9:05 am...18 holes with a cart, a week in advance. We drove 25 klms to arrive and be told " no cart, a tournament took them all." Deadpan... Not good enough says I! Well we could have a a cart until 9:35...are you kidding me!!??? Deadpan! no compensation offered...none "begged for!" Why not call us! Deadpan. I golf a lot..never been treated with such a lack of customer service. Needless to say we left, went around the corner and were very graciously fitted in, just before a tournament, with a cart! Two staff even said "Thanks for your business!" & "Good to have you guys come here!" ...... If you like being treated as a "Nobody".... try Tamarack ...I assure you that you will not be disappointed!!
