This was one of the best course we have been. Unfortunately it was ruined by the marshall, Barry. We booked a T time for 1130am but it was frost delay. We didn't T up till 12pm. A big back up was caused and we were getting rushed to hurry despite waiting for the people in front of us. We had a heated arguement and told him to look. We finished our hole so fast and we sitting in our carts waiting over 10 min waiting. He should be telling others to hurry. Probably would come back one day but not any time soon.

Played Oiver's Nest last saturday and needless to say, we will be back! Considering this course is about an hour outside of the GTA it is well looked after. From the Tee boxes to the the greens the course was in great shape 5 out of 5 stars.

Course is in amazing shape. Marshalled tee offs ensured efficient yet friendly starts. Teamed up with a young man named Brandon who worked there. Credit to the course as he was very polite and courteous....and oh yeah a great golfer.

Fun course, very well maintained. Acceptable pace of play. Friendly staff. A good value. Wide variation in distance from Red Tees to the Tips make this an enjoyable track for a wide skill range of golfers; except for beginning golfers.

Love the grass here. Perfect lies on the fairway and solid rough (doesn't swallow your ball or give you a terrible lie). Bunkers are all playable with good sand for a "normal" bunker shot. Greens putt true. Course is a bit short, but definitely worth playing. Cold beer available with snacks/sandwiches/hotdogs. Nothing too fancy.

Oliver's Nest is a course that I've been wanting to play for years. The course was in good shape and greens had nice contours to produce a challenge. The clubhouse was very disappointing.

I tryd calling for two days before we played. phone lines down can't get ahold of anyone. called cardinal 18 down the road. She worked it out with the starter to squeeze the extra two guys in after the girl at the front desk made literally 0 effort. she can fly a kite. Erica you rock

I haven't been to this course in many years, last time was probably before it changed hands and most of the staff was gone. I must say I was very impressed with condition of the course. The rough and fairways were in great shape. The greens were good too, a little bit slow but at least they ran true and were rolled so they were smooth. My only nitpic, and it's the only blemish on an otherwise excellent day. When there is a group of 4 walking and the group behind them is a twosome riding a cart. Common sense says let the 2some go ahead. Other than that, the rest of the staff was very nice and I would go again for sure.

Saturday afternoon was packed with stupid slow golfers and no marshal. Course is good but can't enjoy it at 15 min per hole. Go during the week and be 1st time may be better

Our first time playing here and it was X L NT!! My biggest concern is always the reception at the clubhouse when paying, and this was quite friendly and so easy breezy. The course was in immaculate condition and the pace of play quite rapid. The greens were immaculate, challenging but fair.We will definitely play here again and will add to our rotation!

Less than one. Booked 18 holes, and got there and we weren’t able to use carts because of the previous days rain, and they don’t provide push carts. For a group of pregnant women looking for a loving day out, that was a shocker and we had to switch plans. disappointed in the rain, but disappointed in the lack of communication that this happens at this course every time it rains.

First visit and if it looks this good in mid October, it must be a real treat in prime time. The greens were IMMACULATE, fairways in great conditions and the tee blocks some of the best I’ve seen this year. A nice lay out, the kind of course you could probably score well on if you made smart choices (evidently I didn’t lol) but also the kind of course that’s ready to punish you if you get greedy. Well worth the price of admission, a real gem in the Kawarthas.

I have always enjoyed playing Olivers Nest but I cannot understand the high prices for playing and yet I have to believe it is only Gouging at its best. I played in a 4some last Sunday Sept/20.and I paid $79.04 for golf and cart. When I was getting ready another golfer came to me and told me he was traveling with me. I explained to him he may be playing with me but not traveling with me so I went into the pro shop and asked what was going on. He explained to me that it was 2 per cart and I told him No given the times we are in and he proceed to charge me a additional $11.30 because I was riding single. I paid it and left but not happy knowing the shortage of carts was their problem so lets keep loading the carts and gouging. I hope I can enjoy Olivers Nest in the future but at these prices I have to confess it wont be anytime soon. Thanks Paul T. Kelly

The course is in great shape, Nick in the pro shop makes the experience start out fun and positive. I had a tough front nine but shot 40 on the back to keep it under 90. Pace of play was under 4 hours for 18 on a Sunday afternoon (excellent) The refreshment cart appeared at least 8 times at various locations around the course.
