Course is a disaster. After blowing their wad on Stanley Thompson traps they can,t afford to maintain thelm, grass and weeds two feet tall. Dead trees every where. New holes and clubhouse will be under construction for a few years. Too bad used to be so nice.

Not that I am a golfer, but the course looks to be pristine. I was hired to play here with my band Whiskey Mojo on a few occasions. The quality of food that they serve at their events is second to none. Everyone that I met were friendly and welcoming!

The thing I respect most about Kawartha is that it's a challenge of every aspect of your game. Smart golfers are rewarded with lush fairways and impeccable greens. Poor shots are peanalized and it's immediately time to scramble. Conditioning is top notch; it's a luxury that this place is so accessible to Peterborough, we're lucky to have it.

I believe Kawartha has a bright future. The golf course layout and architectural improvements, restoring the Stanley Thompson legacy, make it deserving to be ranked in and amongst the top 100 courses in Canada. It has a feel of an inland Scottish course, being predominantly built on a hillside, amongst a mature landscape. If you’re looking for a modest, communal member-club with a prestigious track that will challenge all aspects of your game, take the time to introduce yourself to Kawartha.

The course is extremely nice well maintained and hard for any level of golfer demanding shots from everywhere a great challenge with really quick greens with lots of break. If your looking for a challenge this is the jackpot for courses in the Kawarthas as I've played all of them. It's pricey but worth it if you're up for a challenge

A step above the rest when it comes to the quality of the course, especially for the Kawarthas. Immaculate and naturally beautiful terrain makes for fine play. The Stanley Thompson design is challenging but rewarding. Clubhouse staff are friendly and the service at the bar is good. Kawartha G&CC is the destination if you are looking for a high quality golfing in the area.

Rate and reviews here should be breezey. You guys keep the set of lights in the entrance of the golf club because it’s so convenient for you. But I don’t think there is much point. It’s a pain in the middle of the face. To deal with this To be honest with you, just for the sake that one of you guys can make it on time every morning to enjoy a golf trip out on the course. Because it’s convenient for you guys however, we have the sticky end because it ain’t easy for us. What makes you people so special? The golf course is located in the middle of the city. If you like to go to the course quickly, then spend the night at the golf club or go golfing outside of the city.

The winter was harsh but we are happy to say we have 17 of 18 greens open now. The golf course has made an amazing comeback and should be back to normal playing conditions by the end of the month.
