I was just at this spa but don’t have any pictures to post. I think I was too relaxed lol. I had a session of massage as well as the JPL wrap. I have to say that the staff were EXCEPTIONAL and the products were delightful. (I may or may not have purchased some for myself ;) Clean (steam room, sauna, etc.) and very organized. Lovely tea with water, tea and snacks (included in the price). Beautiful views from the tea room, and again, exceptional staff.

Did the 60 min Honey Ginger Elixir for $199 (plus automatic 18% gratuity), and was pretty disappointed. The facilities are nice, and the aesthetician was friendly. However, the service/wrap itself was a bit weird... You lay on massage table layered with a blanket and then towels on top of that. The masseuse exfoliates you with a scrub, which is nice, but then they rinse the scrub off of you while still on the table, which obviously makes the towels wet. Then they wrap you in said wet towels/blanket. This might be pleasant if it were nice and warm and cozy, but the room was a bit chilly, so I was essentially wrapped in cold/wet towels for 60 mins. At least I could go in the steam-room/sauna after to warm up! Overall, pretty disappointing, especially for the price :(.

I had booked 4 treatments. I knew the experience would be different with Covid but I did not expect what I got. After my massage ($200.00) I was asked to go walk around for 20 minutes and come back for my next treatment. So the relaxing feeling was basically gone after that. My body treatment ($200.00) was dry brushing and some oil put on. My facial was great but not worth again $200.00 my pedicure was soaking some filing and then paraffin wax $115.00 . The ladies were amazing that’s not my complaint. My complaint is If you’re going to run a “High end spa” then the services should be “High end” . Or if things have to be modified because of Covid then modify your prices. I left feeling semi relaxed. After looking forward to this day at the spa I was BEYOND disappointed.I’ve been to a lot of spas all over the world and paid less and received amazing services. So upsetting I love the JPL but I’ll NEVER go back to the spa there.
