Captains Hill needs work or else it's just not that great of a course. The admirals green is fantastic but I would highly recommend a cart and a jacket because it's always windy up on the hill.

Pippy Park Golf Course is home to 27-holes of well-rated and pleasantly testing golf. The 18-hole Admiral's Green layout is complemented by the 9-hole Captain's Hill course. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

We just did the nine hole course, but it was beautiful. The greens were nicely groomed, and the course presented some challenges that are needed to assist in improving your game.

A nice golf course. Fairly hilly and the terrain is bumpy so carts are recommended. It offers views of St. John's that are spectacular. The greens are well maintained, and the roughs aren't too over deep. There are some water traps that are pleasant to see with ducks, Lilly pads and some fish even.

From start to finish staff were excellent. Check in at the Pro shop was handled great and fast. The Starter guy was a riot, told us jokes and got our rental clubs all sorted out. Really nice guy. Course is great, little windy the day we played, but we had a great time. Will be back when we go back to St Johns. Snack shack lady didn't smile much but the hot dogs were great LOL

Great course , spectacular views but very windy. Must be at high altitude because I've never hit the ball so far in my life as I did here.

The fairways are in very poor shape, the grass is too long and you can not find your ball. I've mentioned several times but I don't see any improvements. The ladies' tee box on number three has not been cut this year and I was there on Tuesday and have not seen any improvements. Everyone I met playing the course had the same complaint. The staff at the club house and starter's hut are wonderful as usual.
