They pack them in here. Group every 10 minutes. Then you get to wait 10-15 each hole for the group in front. Front 9 took almost 3 hours for a twosome. Ignorant to have people go so close together. All about the money. Never would have happened with the old management.

The Price was not worth the harrassement my coworkers and I recieved from the course marshall. CONSTANTLY telling us to speed it up when absulutly no one was behind us. We ended up not even finishing our game. If youre looking for a fun day of golf i recomand going anywhere else.

The golf course is in pretty good shape. The only complain I have is that a lot of the tee blocks need work. Not flat, not level and full of weeds. This takes a lot away from what could be one of the best golf courses in this area. The service all around is good and the club house food is above average as well. Still worth playing as long as the price stays competitive.

The course was pretty easy to find and once there we were greeted by a nice facility. The parking lot was kind of small, but the clubhouse seemed somewhat new, well organized and clean. The proshop had all the stuff you'd need for your round or to take as a momento. The the staff was friendly and courteous. The course was in pretty good shape for the beginning of May - a very wet and cold spring this year so good on them. The greens were in pretty good shape, the tees were cut and there didn't seem to be much debris from the recent wind storm. The only minor complaints I'd have was that the driving range was a bit janky and there wasn't really a discernable difference between fairways and rough. Pretty early in the season though. Both me and my golf partner said we'd be back as there are several shots that were fun that we'd like to have a crack at again! Ultimately that's the best compliment of all: we'll be back!

Their daily specials never disappoint, but the real star is the Saturday drive through fire! Fantastic course. Well kept, not very long but very challenging - forces you to play smart, yet still some good "long drive" holes sprinkled in there. Love the elevation changes and hazard locations. Will make you a better, smarter golfer. Staff are nice too. Only thing I'd say is Avoid food at the resteraunt... We had mold all over our burger buns. :-S

Great course, very well maintained!!! I love playing this course, the problem here is the scheduling. They overbook the tee offs where you are pretty much waiting on every shot. 5-6 hour rounds are not uncommon, however they are not enjoyable either.

Went to Southbrook with my family for dinner on the outdoor patio and it was really great. The chicken wings and quesadilla were amazing appetizers, and the clubhouse sand-wedge sandwich was very good. The only thing that could upgrade my review to 5 stars is if more precautions were taken to keep the flies away from the tables. Maybe some standing fans outside or cleaning the tables with vinegar to keep them away while eating.

Ahhh...its ok. maybe 5-6 holes in good shape. Cart paths a disaster especially between holes 4-5 i believe. swamp mud party. I know it rained a little day before but water held on many fairways on back 9. Should of took a photo but on one par 3 tee box the tee markers were 2 beer cans instead of normal blocks. Nice touch! sponsored by Bud! . Its a hackers course.

I have been a member for the last 4 years and truly enjoyed my experiences at Southbrook. The owners commitment to improving the golf course is paying off, with new tee blocks, addition of cart paths on several holes, fantastic greens and fairways. I have played over a 100 different courses and must admit that the layout of this course is definitely in the my top 10. The staff are great, truly enjoyable customer service experience. Also the food and beer is very good. I will definitely be renewing my membership for 2021.

I had a fantastic time with my friend playing a round of 18 at Southbrook. I found each hole to be a lot of fun, and for the most part, well maintained. The staff here is super friendly as well. If I had to nitpick a couple things, it would be that I found some of the holes to be quite damp. Also the cart paths are absolutely brutal to drive, too many holes. Apart from that I totally enjoyed it and would love to come again.

I played Southbrook on November 12, 2021, trying to get a last game in before it snows. I booked using Tee-on.com and I noticed that the cost of green fees wasn’t posted but I figured that I’d be looking around $50 with a cart like most other courses are currently charging. I was not happy when I went to pay at at the course as they had not implemented fall rates. They were still charging summer rates. I paid $75 with a cart including tax to play on a course that has two holes under construction, tee blocks that are chewed up and basically bare and uneven and with fairways near the construction areas that also pretty chewed. The only part of the course in good shape were the greens, which were fast. I realize that we’ve had lots of rain lately but all other courses in the area have had lots of rain too and they aren’t anywhere near as bad. But what bothered me the most was that Southbrook hadn’t dropped their rates at all for fall or for the poor condition of the course. I played at Whirlpool GC in Niagara Falls earlier this week and paid $50.85 with cart including tax to play a course that is near pristine except for a few soggy areas. I always enjoyed playing Southbrook a few times a year with my buddies in the past. However, it seems that the new management is only after the almighty dollar. In my eyes, this isn’t even a $75/round golf course in the summer let alone in the fall. Yup, I won’t be going back anytime soon, spring, summer or fall as there are a lot of nicer courses in the area for that price. Bah-bye!

The course was in horrible condition, fairways were like a parking lot. Every shot bounced multiple times as if you were hitting the cart path. Then hitting off the fairway or anywhere, you were hitting of dirt basically. Not worth golfing here, sorry.

I thought the golf course itself was pretty well maintained and had a lot of shot variety. It was a nice mixture of some long par 5s and a few shorter par 3s. Pretty good course with various sand traps and water hazards mixed in to add some excitement. The tee boxes were a little on the dry side and fairly hard but I guess thats too be expected for this time of year. I would have rated it higher if the gentleman at the club shop had not been so rude to myself and another guest while we were trying to pay. Disrespectfully coming up behind me and yanking the 'Golf Now' reservation out of my hand and proceeding to inflate the agreed upon price while complaining about the deal we got is not acceptable. I hope it was a bad day and he doesn't usually treat paying customers that way regardless of the deal. All in all, the course was very nice, customer service sub par.

I recently golfed here for a work tournament and everyone had a good time. The course is really good but I don't really have much to compare it to. The service was excellent and so was the food especially the Bulgogi cheesesteak sandwich and fries. I would go back just to have the sandwich. Hopefully we'll be back next year

First time to this club over the weekend. The course was enjoyable. Not overly difficult but good for a day on the course. Friendly staff in the clubhouse and the starter. The restaurant has very good deals for breakfast but hot dogs/sausages/beers are quite over priced. I also did not like the fact that this course does not recycle. I asked two employees where to put my empty beer can and they both said to put it in the garbage as they do not recycle. I would strongly suggest adding a recycling program to the golf course in this day in age. Overall I would definitely return!

Had company tournament here. Course was in great shape. Steak dinner with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley and cesar salad and bun, Very good, and filling, banana cream pie for desert there were other choices too, very tasty. Very good day thanks. Played again on Sat Aug 3 at 2:13pm 1 star rating. Greens treated with sand. Every shot landing on green a giant cloud of dirt rises up, slow putting. Several areas under repair. No water available on course for drinking very hot out, no cart person, had to call at 6th hole to get some one to come out. Played at a decent pace for 5 holes but it turned into a 6 hour round all because the Marshall's disappeared. It was so bad on the 12th hole par 5 there was 5 groups on the hole, 2 groups at tee waiting 1 on top fairway, 1 on bottom fairway, 1 on green. The only positive for the day was the piece of fish I had for dinner was really good as was the service. But the most upsetting thing was finding out in the parking lot while leaving from other group member that he booked us on golf now for $44 including cart, and 2 of us were charged $55 when we checked in. I later checked the website and seen that weekend after 2pm twilight rate with cart was $42. What s up with this?

Recently we hosted a tournament sponsoring Habitat For Humanity through Southbrook and it was a resounding success. Both Ian and Adam were a pleasure to work with planning this event which took months from start to finish. They were available to meet and discuss not only options but were both very nimble and accommodating to our needs. This partnership allowed us to raise our highest amount in 14 years doing this event. As the date drew near we were also introduced to Lisa and Rita who were also very helpful and pleasant. The food received rave reviews from our 144 golfers and the day was amazing. Thank you for all you did and being a true partner supporting this great cause.

Nice course, challenging, fairways and greens plush for weather as of late. Nice practice green, club house, driving range. Golf carts not included with green fees. Carts equipped with covid screen in middle of passenger's. Beverage cart clean and server wearing mask. Great service. Lots of trees for shade, tee offs were great as well. Ranger checks in to see everything moving well. Not quite 5 star, as the rough on either side of fairways were like clay. Due to weather?

Just became a new member at Southbrook. It was not a hard decision to make after playing countless rounds over the years. Was a member at a neighboring golf course in Hannon for the last 8yrs and it was time to make a change. When trying to decide which course to move to Southbrook always came to mind. It was not hard to convince a large group (over 20 people) that plays together on a regular basis that it was time to experience what we have been missing out on for yrs. Southbrook welcomed us with open arms and hospitality that they have been known for. Looking forward to building the relationship with Southbrook.

Played here for years. Always in great condition and fairly priced. But a few weeks ago i was there and though the price was still good the course was in AWFUL shape. Ruts in the fairway particularly on the back nine. Not sure if it was caused by snowmobiles during the winter or they let people drive the carts in the fairways during the wet spring. Maybe both happend. It was a 5 hr round and we only played 16 holes. They let 2 twosomes tee off separately before us. We asked the marshall 3 times to pair them up and he didn't do anything. Hoping things turn around for this course but you wont see me there this year. Good luck Southbrook....u need it.

Played here a couple of times. Staff and other golfers here are super friendly and the course is fantastic for the price point. They closed very late into the season last year and opened early this year (love this). It's COVID times and I know there's an influx of new golfers after last year- which is great- but it means that pace of play is slow pretty much everywhere (especially on weekends). However, everyone was chill about it, behaving themselves (and holy smokes, the behaviours I have seen from grown-a** men on a golf course), and it moved fairly well. Worth it.

Played our first round of the year this past Sunday the 24th. Took my birthday boys. My father who turned 90 in April. My son who turned 30 and my nephew 25. Both May birthdays. My Dad played the same ball all round as usual. The rest of us did our part to donate a number of balls to Southbrook :) Had a great day with phenomenal weather. The course is in very good condition. Southbrook never disappoints.
