I was only here to drop off a wedding cake, but every single person I interacted with was incredibly polite, positive and professional. If that's how they treat random vendors I can imagine their members are treated very well!

Came for a wedding, what a beautiful place! There were some staff members just chatting a little too loud during the ceremony but besides that it was wonderful. Everything was right on time!

Not need to be a member to enjoy the dining room or bar. Great food with a casual atmosphere. Lunch or dinner. Prices are very fair.

It was raining when we arrived.At our tee time it stopped. The staff was very fast with towels to dry the cart seat. The greens were wet and slower than usual. A few sprinkles occurred during back 9. But we played on. It was my first time to play golf there. Our friends invited us with reduced green fees. Great deal! Dinner was delicious. We had their specials. All in all a good day!

Be very careful when reserving a tee time at this golf course. they don't seem to have a very good system for taking care of that. Our experience was that we had reserved a tee time at 9:33 we arrived we were told that there was some kind of mistake. The club manager did not apologize nor offer any alternatives. Clearly their customers are not a high priority for them.

Enjoyable as a sledding hill, not sure about the country club or golf course. Wish the municipality or province would buy it and make it a public park. Would love to have this so close

We went here for a wedding and it was great! Nice and clean... We also are in the restaurant area beforehand and their tacos were fantastic!! 10\10 would recommend

Poor - mediocre experience in the sit-down area of their bar. We were only there to try their Burger Week burger. We were shown around by a very friendly gentleman, and chose our seats. Our orders were taken and we asked for waters. It took approximately 10 minutes to receive our waters after watching our waiter watching the TV in the bar. Our orders arrived, and they got 1 out of 4 orders wrong (meat patty given to the vegetarian). We waited 20 minutes for her new burger, and asked for takeout containers after eating. It took approximately 15 minutes after that to be brought a bill (after asking them). Very disappointing. I will also add that they were not busy at all.

Brightwood Golf & Country Club hosted our wedding ceremony, reception and dinner - and from the outset, everything was superlative. Our event co-ordinator, Tina Dickson, is the epitome of professionalism, coupled with friendliness and concern. Every single guest commented on how perfect everything was, that the food was delicious and how excellent the service was. I cannot recommend a place any more strongly than Brightwood. It is THE place in HRM to host an event.

Wide fairways and relatively large but undulating greens. The grass in spots was thin which resulted in tight lies. Fun to play, staff were great.

Went here for burger week. Can't really complain for a $6 burger, plain and so-so. Server was really scattered for only 3 tables being occupied in the bar part of the facility (didn't go to the restaurant). I ordered two types of beers on tap during dinner and both were horribly below the temperature range any draft beer should be served at.

Attended the Datmouth RTO Christmas Luncheon and as usual the food was wonderful. Brightwood always does an excellent job catering to our functions. The servers were fast, efficient and very attentive to the needs of the diners. Also, a big thank you to Tina, Trevor and Chef Merrill.
