Fantastic golf course. Great layout and in great condition. Always a good time. Can get some good deals and go out and have fun. Friendly staff that are always smiling. Organized very well. Good rates. Lots of parking and in a great location in the city. One of the best courses in Guelph I would say. A staple of Guelph and a must play by any golfer. Do yourself a favour and get out and enjoy a nice round on a beautiful course.

We decided to host our mom's 70th birthday celebration here and were not disappointed! Wendy and her team did everything to make the event fantastic - from helping coordinate colours and decor, to a flexible, delicious menu by the great kitchen staff, to a perfect size room for our party of 30 guests, complete with projector, speakers, and tables set up how we wanted things - we couldn't have asked for more. The Happy Birthday message on the clubhouse sign was the icing on the cake!!! Thank you to the wonderful team at Victoria Park East Golf Club!

First time playing the course this year after having recently moved back to Guelph. My experience was fantastic. Friendly staff, impeccably kept course and the flex pass was great value for the money. The friends who came up and played the course with me were equally impressed. Keep it going everyone!!. Look forward to a Covid-free experience next year (fingers crossed).

Excellent venue. They hosted a beautiful wedding which I worked at May 19. All staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and well mannered. The one woman (possibly manager, can't recall her name) went out of her way to help with things. The banquet hall has excellent views and is very nicely air conditioned. Also has large outdoor patio which the guests loved. Excellent places for photos!

Played a very enjoyable round today. Staff were all great from the coffee shop, to the Pro Shop and all the grounds people on the course. Members in front and behind us were welcoming and friendly. Course is in great shape. Very fair, but deceptively challenging. Would definitely play again.

Held a wedding there amidst covid and Jennifer made the crazy stressful experience very pleasant. The place is lovely and has great light. We only did an event with 25 people but they can host about 250, if not more. We got some beautiful pictures out in the field as well as inside and overall were very satisfied with how things looked! It had a very reasonable budget and they have tons of decor you can use! Jennifer made all the difference for us and we could not have thanked her enough, what a great hiring choice! The only suggestion if you hold a wedding here would be to have a carpet for the stage because the brown floor doesn't look as nice. Good luck on your event!

I have yet to play a round here (still new to golfing), but do like the driving range they have here the best of all the ones in the area. Balls don't seem as restricted and staff have all been very friendly. Will play soon and update!

My favourite course in the Guelph area. It's a challenging track and plays much tougher than it's rating & slope. The rates are very fair and they don't gouge you for range balls, beer or snacks which is a nice touch compared to other places. Most importantly, Vic East is the best maintained course I play: greens, bunkers, tees all meticulous.

Went here for a wedding which was very nice. The venue still had the course open even when there was a wedding. The ceremony was outside to which it rained on us and there was no else they could get married so we sat though it in the rain.

Quick disclaimer before I get into the negatives about the course, the staff is awesome, especially John and others in the pro shop, lawn cutters and maintenance crew are very respectful, and fairways and greens are usually in very good condition. However a couple simple things are holding this place back from being a lot better, for example, 1. The Sand Bunkers: Absolutely no care for any of the traps throughout the course during anytime of the year. I mean the “rake and place” rule sign has been left up on the first tee for the past 2 years. Dissapointing and careless. 2. The Driving Range: It’s a nice area that has so much more potential. The problem with the range is that the ground is terrible. Uneven ground with that ridge that runs all the way across the range is a waste of space and anoying. Primarily though, it’s just that the ground is barely looked after, it’s never cut nice and doesn’t have the divots nicely regrown. It’d be nice to have it like a well maintained fairway (I know it’s a public course that’s gonna take a lot more ware cause you don’t know who’s hitting there) but still I’ve seen other public course with the range in prestine condition just like a fairway, so please show some more love to the range. Plus 6$ per token? Come on 3. Price: This is not as big as a concern as the bunkers and range but it’s overpriced compaired to other course that are better in the southern ontario area, but I guess that’s just Guelph which is disappointing. As mentioned above the 6$ for like 30 range balls on a range with extremely poor maintenance is ridiculous. Same goes for price to play on simulators. Hopefully my criticism can be taken constructively because I think that it’s those simple things that hold this place back, it’s been enough that its made me decide to switch courses. Would love to hear what you have to say regards to my comments and if there will be any improvements next season in those areas.

Great course, good price if walking. Intermediate difficulty. Great staff. Could use another beverage cart as I only saw it once in 4.5 hr. Driving range was nice but can only fit max 20 people at once. Green are beautiful and lighting fast. All in all, for a public course in this area you don't get any better for the price. Enjoy

This course was nicer than I thought it was going to be. It is a fairly flat course so it is easy to walk. The 17th hole is an uphill hole and the steepest part of the course. The opening hole is a par 5 dogleg right and its wide. It's a nice way to start a course. The bunkers were in good shape. The greens looked level but when you would putt, the small undulations revealed themselves. Only 2 small criticisms: one was that the greens were aerated a couple of weeks prior so they played slower than I'm used to. I three putted the first 3 out of 4 holes. The other critique is that there are 9 holes that either dogleg right or bend right. Only 2 holes go left. As a lefty with a slice at times, this course is not conducive to my game. I guess I'll have to learn to draw the ball then I will play this course again.

Course is extremely well maintained and the pro shop and general operation is professionally run. We had a golf tourney here several years ago and we were not disappointed. Their chef even does weekly take out specials during covid 19 and will email you regularly updating you on what they have. Great attitude and customer service. Highly recommended!
