Pro shop attendant was incredibly rude, condescneding and nearly ruined our experience. Fairways were cow pastures that literally couldn't be differentiated from the rough. Greens were in terrible shape. Marshalls were nowhere to be found to improve pace of play. Waited significantly to tee off on almost every hole. Would never return or recommend.

This golf course is well maintained. The workers here treat you nicely. The only thing is is that there is a flat fee and no junior fees soo juniors will be paying full price but I definitely got what I paid for. Thank you Fergus Golf Club

UPDATE: Unbelievably, for the second visit in a row, range closed, due to lawn cutting. It was cut. Went to Elmira GC, gorgeous, friendly. Decent enough course. Employees nice. Driving range is absurd. Odds are they wont have balls. Their collector has no protection, so if someone is driving, no collection. Business going out of town.

The course is mostly flat. the difficulty is added through long holes and difficult to read greens. Course is 27 holes and is nicely kept.

Nice course with choice of 3 9 hole experiences. The staff were helpful and friendly. The topography is gently rolling hills with a few ponds and bushy areas.

No starter and the round was the slowest I have ever played. No Marshall either to keep people moving. Took 6 hours to play 18, and it was painful.

We played this course May 29th and the course was ok but the wait was something I've never seen or experienced since I started golfing 30yrs. It took 7.5 hours on a course that should 3.5-4.0 max. Our foursome waited on every hole, on most holes an average of 3-5 groups we're waiting 10 to 15 for each group. We all talked to pass the time but there was no covid precautions here. Long story short Golf North is over booking juring Covid and I would not recommend here. Unless you want to spend 8 hrs in the sun with no cart person on a course that resembles a cow pasture. Don't waste you time and effort booking this Golf North money grab. There are a lot better courses out there. Happy golfing just not at Fergus golf course.

Course not very well maintained. Tee boxes were absolutely horrible. Management doesn’t care where you play and allowed 2 groups of 6 on the course so we had to wait every hole. Played the south 9 back when it was Fairview and it was great. Sad to see how far downhill this place has gone.

First time here played East West coarse fairways are immaculate greens well kept great day but wish I could play South coarse but not open due to puddling from rain this morning

Good course for a beginner. Wide open fairways on east and west nines. More narrow on the south. With a lot of beginners, it's slow moving and the holes are right beside each other with little protection. Not much food and drink choices and carts are getting old. Ours kept dying on us.

Hard to believe people pay to play hear. If you like playing golf in a farmers field and sweety old men then maybe play hear but I still think there has to be a better option. Location: abandoned farmers field Parking: gravel/dirt Pro shop: run down shack Golf carts: probably not available so you have to walk Staff: lazy old white guys Course: flat with little to no trees or water

Good playing course, and good greens! Although course way over books on weekends took us a group of four average golfers five hours to finish eighteen holes.

We haven’t golfed here yet but their customer service in helping to fix issues I made when entering the wrong email on an online order was incredible. Every single member I spoke to knew who to escalate the concern to and the matter was dealt with in the same day or the next step and appropriate timeline was clearly communicated. I was very impressed with the staff.

It’s an okay course. We played the west and the east. It’s quite a flat course so very walkable. Most holes are wide open so if you leak your drive then you can still recover. Greens and bunkers were well maintained. Pace was good, we finished in 3.5 hours on a Tuesday.

Not a fan of this course. Very small greens and were extremely fast. Was barely any green on the course! I played 4 times the last week and no other course is in this shape. Not as easy as it looks! A straight tee shot will be your best friend here. Just meh.

I do not take golf too seriously. First timer at fergus. Course in decent condition enjoyed the hole variety. Not much on the way of food being offered when we finished at 3:00 3_1/2 stars

I am part of a well established seniors league with 52 members. We have been golfing Monday, Wednesday & Friday with either a 9 or 9:30AM shotgun start for many years. Several weeks ago we were informed at the local level that we can no longer golf as a league on Friday. When we appealed to head office, we were eventually told that if we bought a $10.00 food/beverage voucher, the league could then golf on Friday. Is this a money grab or something else.The only thing we know for sure is that we do not hold up the south course. There is rarely anyone else on it, or the other east/west courses for that matter. We as a league are still trying to understand the reason behind this decision. Don Ferrier

Very bad experience. Too bad. I like the course. It rained so hard we were soaked. We had just finished 9 and got one hole in. Asked for a rain check and they indicated it was no problem, just wait until others had been processed. Then they said “the internet says the weather is fine - no rain check”. Wildwinds, Guelph Lakes, Elmira, Aris, Conestoga, Merry Hill - are all happy to take our money. That is where we will play from now on. I guess it is worth losing a customer over a 9 hole rain check that most likely wouldn’t have been used as it is this late in the season...
