$50 (walking) for a late November round with aerated greens. Won't be going back at that price. Course is pretty mediocre.

Although the golf course was in fairly good shape. The experience was ruined by slow play of groups in front of us. Although course marshall were seen nothing was done about the group 2 holes ahead that were drinking shots and firing off pop guns during the round randomly. I will not play here again.

Jason Machado

Beautiful course, gorgeous clubhouse.

Some pompous staff in proshop try and RIP me off for money by charging too much. So much for customer is almost right.

Way too expensive for what you get. They eliminated the players card which was a dumb move but now we're all free to explore other options in the area. With the players card, I played Golf North exclusively for years, not any more. Carts are loud, lack windshields and club canopy. Golf North is notorious for cost cutting and it shows up everywhere here. The condition of the course was fine but they jam as many people on the course as possible so, it's often a painfully long round. Had dinner here, it was average. Will go back into town next time.

Hard course!

Tee time for 4pm completely over booked with leagues and public play. Waited over an hour to tee off after our tee time. Was NOT told by the club house when we paid they had a long wait. When we returned to the club house after the first 9 and asked for a refund for the back 9 because we would not be able to finish by dark, refused to give a refund and would only give a rain check. Felt like a very greedy way to fit as many tee times as you can without any regard to the quality of play

All of the 3 9 holes are in great shape, pace is well controlled, finished 18 in about 3 hours.

Jeremy Amaral

Don't waste your money here. Course is always in terrible condition and they book tee times 6 minutes apart so no matter what you tee off late and are always basically golfing on top of each other, you're waiting on people and people are waiting on you and the marshals don't care enough to do anything about it.

John DeLellis

May be a good place to golf but not good banquet facilities. Huge step threshold right by dance floor. Many people fell while we were there. Not wheelchair accessible.

An absolute disappointment! We were here with a party of 20 for today's Mother's Day Brunch and could not believe the service (or lack of) as well as the condition of the food and beverages. Let me start off by saying when you have to phone in advance to make a reservation of this size and tell them how many adults, children and infants are coming, they should be prepared. We went with our 1 year old and requested a booster seat from the receptionist as soon as we walked in... We then had to ask our waitress 5 minutes after that who said she would get one. We then watched as another family arrived after that and was given the "only booster seat"! Are you kidding me? So not only did we have to ask twice but then watched as a family that arrived almost 20 minutes after us get the only damn one. What kind of place is this? Our drink orders were taken and everyone at our table received theirs but me.... another 20 min or so goes by then the waitress asks if everything is good? I inform her that she didn't bring my drink (which she wrote down when taking our orders). The food at the buffet was burnt during cooking and then put out cold (waffles, chicken, eggs..). Multiple people at our table went to get coffee and ended up with a lot of grinds in their cups! How does this even happen? You make the coffee in a pot with a filter... then pour the pot, not the filter, into the thermos.... What the hell, those are not hard directions! Remember, this is a Golf Course that host events and dinners.... How is this acceptable? When it was time to pay, I spoke to the "Manager" or at least I assume it was, she said she was in charge. I told her about these issues and the fact that we won't be back again as well as how this was an unacceptable experience for a well established Golf Course to be putting on! Her response to me was "I'm sorry about this and I wish there was something I could do", yet she did nothing to rectify the situation or even attempt to rectify it. No discount or comp for at least my wife's meal, nothing. So we paid almost $60 for two cold and over cooked meals with extremely poor service while trying to hold a 1 year old on our laps the entire time. Great start to what should have been a wonderful first Mother's Day for my wife. We will never again return to the Conestoga Golf Club!

Course was a little to dry

The course itself was good. A bit pricey though.. The food was terrible and over priced. Paid $34 for 3 sandwiches and 1 drink. 2 ham and 1 Turkey. Terrible quality.

I came here for a work social event. Lunch was quite good, for a group of about 30. One thing seems to be an issue is the communication with the office and the kitchen as two vegetarian meals were ordered when we booked weeks ago and the kitchen didn't know about it. This happened in previous years as well, so one of our organizers went early to ask if they knew about the vegetarian meals, which they didn't. Since they were notified with a bit of notice, they were able to put something together. In terms of the golf course itself, I'm not a golfer and don't have a lot of experience to judge by, but the course was enjoyable. There was good variety of longer and shorter holes, with a variety of features and challenges. With the course running along the Grand River, this was a good course to enjoy an afternoon, at least from a beginner's perspective.

Garbage course. Won't be going back. You can play grey silo for nearly the same price. Greens are hard as a rock. Don't think they've been watered this summer. So many students who don't care for golf etiquette, very loud. Not well organized, never told what we were playing and no marshals around to direct you. Not a maintained golf course. Save your money.

Dave Parsons

I only golf here when using coupons. To expensive otherwise.

I have golfed for close to 20 years, and can say with complete confidence that this was the worst experience I have ever had playing golf. I was immediately questioned by a pompous proshop employee who questioned my answer that I was going to be walking the course. He was in fact laughing at me, so I asked if it was a long course or something because I didn't understand the reaction. He responded with saying that he knew I wasn't going to be walking, and that I was just going to hop on my friend's cart? (I didn't realize that was an issue in the first place) and it was not true at all? After an awkward exchange, I paid my green fee and left the club house feeling extremely disrespected. To my disbelief, another issue came up in our group before we even teed-off. We were waiting for the group ahead of us on the first hole to reach the green so we could start to hit our drives. My one friend, who was walking, took a quick seat on my friend's cart (that he paid full price for), and was literally yelled at by the Marshall to "get off that cart right now" because he hadn't paid for it. The reaction was unwarranted, and could have been handled much better. The situation did not warrant being yelled at, and. my friend was using it for a quick seat, since there are no benches on the course. The course design is very poor. They used the space that generally fits 18 holes, and squished in 27. The holes run way too close to one another. Tee blocks are placed extremely close to greens. I couldn't tell you the amount of times you almost get hit by a ball playing here. Goose Run especially. Pace of play was extremely slow, our round took just over 5 hours, and the 18 we played wasn't even 6,000 yards I will say though, the course conditions were very good. Fairways were well kept, rough was even throughout. Greens rolled-out very well, and made for some challenging putts. One of the girls who delivers drinks was also able to return a phone that a player in our group had left behind. So it was not all negative! I'm not one to make an online review, however after this experience playing at Conestoga Golf and Country Club, I felt compelled to do so, as I reached out to more golfers that I know and have had similar experiences with proshop employees especially. It's truly disappointing that I had to pay money to have an experience like this. When I go out golfing I just want to have fun, and enjoy the nice weather. I'd rather not be called a liar, and then be yelled at before I even tee-off. Or worry about being hit by a ball, when I'm on a tee-box.

We had a golf trip of 16 guys play Conestoga and the course was in great shape and the staff were amazing to deal with. We all enjoyed our time there. Thanks!!

Great tough course , fairways and greens were in impeccable shape definitely the best 27 hole course around.

We had our wedding here and it was awesome! I couldn't imagine going to any other venue. The staff were so friendly, they thought of things that I would need before I did! The food was fantastic and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!
